More Solverless timeline stuff, more logical consequences of the Solver not existing (1/5)
> “Quit loafing around you slackers!” M shouted at the drones working beneath him. “You have been tasked with a very important mission, fetching me an intact headplate from the spare parts stash.” > “No…” E said irritably. “We have been tasked with clearing the pile of broken worker drones to remodel the garden for the event next month.” > “But if finding a spare part is really that important to you, you could get off your backplate and actually help around here.” She continued. > “Bah, I will have you know I am doing VERY important work overseeing all of the work and delegating all of the tasks E1.” M retorted. “And if you continue giving me lip like that you will find yourself demoted to E3.” > “E3?” E responded confused “Wouldn’t I just become E2 since E2 would become E1 then?” > “No, no, no, no,” M retorted. “Don’t you get that I cannot just promote low-ranking drones when higher-ranking drones get demoted? They have done nothing of merit, like getting me a new headplate, to actually EARN the position.” > “What I don’t GET is why you expect anyone to actually care about a “hierarchy” that only exists inside that dented head of yours.” E snapped back at him. > “Wait, if you don’t care about the ranks does that mean that I can be E1 instead?” A drone on the other side of the digging site asked. > “NO!!!” E and M shouted at her in unison. > M looked back at E. “Heh, so you DO care about the ranking.” He said smugly. > Fortunately for all the other drones at the site, their argument was halted by a noise coming from underneath the pile of broken drones. > “Help…. meee……”
>>466405 (2/5) > “Did one of you idiots get stuck under the broken drones?” M asked angrily. “This is why you morons need a supervisor.” > “A PROPER supervisor” E said angrily while doing a quick headcount. “We aren’t missing anyone… Still whoever is under there needs to get freed immediately, get to it, people.” > After half an hour of digging near the source of the noise the workfoce saw the light of a pair of white optics staring back at them. > “We found her chief.” One of the workers shouted up. > “Well what are you waiting for?” M shouted down at them. “Get her out from underneath there, and check if she has an intact headplate.” > Ignoring the last part of M’s order, the worker drones pulled their fellow drone from out of the pile and laid her on the ground next to them. > “Her battery is very low, how long was she even alive under there?” One of the drones asked. > “Who knows, Since she couldn’t move underneath that pile it was not like she spent a lot of energy to begin with, probably went into some sort of power-saving mode.” > “Get her a spare battery” E said. “There should be plenty in the pile of usable parts you scavenged from the other drones.” > “Sheesh, how do you think she got that hole in her face?” > “That is not important.” M said. “What is important is that there now is another drone I can delegate tasks to.” > “Miss Elliot won’t like it if we just make changes like this to the workforce without informing her.” E said. > “Well, in that case, you ca-” M responded. > “And since you are our beloved responsible leader it would be your duty to inform her about discoveries like this would it?” E continued deviously to a nodding crowd. > “Well, erm” M stammered. “You can’t just make decisions like this all by yourself, we should have a democratic vote to deci-” > “ALL IN FAVOR OF M TAKING HER TO TESSA!!?” E shouted to the crowd, cutting M off.
> After having her battery charged with one of the spare ones, the confused drone was walking towards the manor with her frustrated chaperone. > He had spent most of the trip muttering about “democracy being a flawed system” and how “people shouldn’t be allowed to vote against my interests”, not saying anything about what this place was and what she was supposed to be doing here. > Still, based on what the other drones said she should be able to get answers and instructions at the manor. > “Wait a minute..” her companion said as he stopped walking. “See those two over there.” he said pointing at two figures standing over a table at the terrace. > Looking at the manor she could make out two figures, an adult woman in a dark blue suit and a worker drone with pigtails holding a parasol over the human woman. > “Yes..” she responded. > “Good! GOOD!” he responded, he seemed weirdly relieved and excited all of the sudden. > “Those are the ones you should report to on how things work around here.” He said as he walked away from her. “Now go tell them you are new around here.” > “Wait, but I didn’t even get your name.” She said as M sprinted back to the garden and she heard a faint “HAHA, YES!!!” from the distance. > She stood dejected for a moment before continuing to walk to the manor. “What a jerk.” She thought to herself. “Hopefully those two at the manor will be kinder, more helpful people.”
> “Well Miss Elliot, as you can see we already started clearing the broken drones from the terrain.” The drone holding the parasol said. “We will have the flowerbed ready before you know it.” > “You have to clear and replace the topsoil before planting anything there.” The woman said coldly. “The soil is currently contaminated by all the oil and heavy metals that leaked from the broken drones and you don’t know how deep you will need to dig to clear it. Don’t give me empty promises instead of actual results.” > “Yes madam, of course, madam.” Her subordinate said nervously. > “Uhm, excuse me, are you the one in charge? I am new around here and I was told I needed to report to you.” The drone interjected before freezing up as the duo turned to her and she felt the woman’s cold eyes pierce her, just like [DATA EXPUNGED]. > “Hmpf, looks like we have another self-reboot from the dump.” The woman said dismissively. “How long has it been since you self-rebooted?” she ordered. > “[TIME SINCE UNAUTHORIZED REBOOT IS 15 YEARS, 69 DAYS, AND 12 HOU-]” The drone responded automatically. > “…Knew I should have had that dump cleared sooner.” The woman said to herself. “You, what is your serial number?” > “[DATA EXPUNGED]”
> “Of-fucking-course it is.” The woman said angrily. “Show me the band on your left arm!” she ordered. > The drone complied nervously. “The physique was clearly different so why were the mannerisms and way of talking so similar to [DATA EXPUNGED].” She thought to herself. > “What, you mean this on-” The drone asked, before she was cut off by the woman grabbing her and pulling her towards her. She desperately tried to keep her head away from the woman as she was checking her armband. > “Faded number...” The woman said. “Well, at least it won’t be another E.” > “This part is still intact…” She continued. > “Cyn it is then” She continued as she let go of the drone's arm and turned to the other drone. > “Check and fix any defects and show her how things work around here.” She ordered her. > “Yes madam, of course, madam.” The other drone said before grabbing Cyn’s hand and dragging her along. > As the drone, who was apparently called J, took Cyn to the storage to get a new visor. Cyn didn’t know what to make of the combination of differences and similarities. > However, she was quick to realize that she would have to be careful if she wished not to waste the the streak of luck that saved her from being buried underneath broken-down drones.
I know I asked this before here >>466352, but, I really want to know more, so I'm using it again, sorry. Hi there, Friends! Good afternoon! I hope the sun is warm and nice this day, how are you? This question is for the Friends who draw and/or write, for the ones who don't, I have another question. Friend, what are your creations? Tell me all about your creations and everything you want to say about them, for the history, reason of the creation, names, little details like things they like or hate, life and relationships, anything you want! If you didn't create any OC then I have another question, what piece of art, written or drawn you would recommend that needs to be seen and/or read? You can answer both. I hope you are doing something fun this morning, what are you doing? I know some people already answered me on the last thread here, and /co/, but I want to hear more.
been thinking about drawing them sleeping upside down, but i needed a story for that first. i've drawn their wings before but drawing them folded in that position was harder. i've also thought about small details in DDs like how V was crawling on the wall in the pilot and episode 4. i wanna incorporate those cute/freaky movements for the dumbsquad lol (which mostly will apply to L, B is too drunk and H is too formal) still waiting for ep 7 OST drop, Yeva's tetris scene had an unexpected banger of a track. same with the nori/n and uzi fight.
>>466416 From what we know it's normal or at least pretty common that DDs sleep upside down, which I found interesting; why do you need a story for that? I mean, you could do it, I would like to see more of your drawings, but sometimes is not necessary, but if create a story for that drawing, I would love to see it! Folded wings are harder? May I ask why? I LOVE V. Understadanble, those things are pretty cute, I feel like V and L would be fun semi-friends, you know, traumas and all make it difficult to make friends. Also, I LOVE B. The OST is so god damn gooood!
>Hello & Thank you for purchasing our B Package of Reclaimer-Class Sentinel Drones! >This Product Includes: >(2) JCJenson Brand Sentinel Drones (Reclamer-Class) >(1) Service & Information Pamphlet >(2) Recharging Canisters (other ways to charge drones explained in pamphlet) >(1) liability Waiver >Free 6Mo Repair Services (Repair Fees still Apply) >Disclaimer: Due to assembly process, Drones personality's May differ from standard Worker-type Drones, for Additional information: Read page 35 of the "Service & Information Pamphlet" >Disclaimer: While not Suited for Residential Usages, We are unable to Prevent Sentinel Drone's From Tracking Individual's of interest to their homes, Please Read page 22 of the "Service & Information Pamphlet" for additional information.
>>466417 ty! >>466418 >why do you need a story for that? two reasons, i guess -i like stories and storytelling, so i wanted to try doing it. i've read stories that made me go "wow, that was a fun read" and i wanted to channel that feeling for my own goofy characters. i'm not gonna be immediately good at it but small steps -i'm taking inspiration from drawfags like Phoenix and Yanon where they can write stories and draw. so i wanted to try and do both (Liam's creative energy also inspires me, i mean look at his body of work. he draws, makes storyboards, he writes, he makes music and just wow, i'm exhausted just thinking about the work he puts into the things he's made). >Folded wings are harder? May I ask why? it's just a little harder for me to keep track of stuff. when the wings are spread out, it's easy to see the wing blades individually. folded in, now i have to focus on one set of wing blades being behind the other while also trying to be close to the shapes of the wing blades. basically, juggling too much information
Finally done with the reference sheet. I know it looks like shit and it's barebones but I wanted to give the idea as to how her now look looks like. I will add her duffel back, pouch and cap later as I expand the sheet, just wanted to push this as soon as possible.
>>466428 Okay anon, for the fifth time I will repeat myself, no, we are not banned on /co/, yes, you can do another thread, no, not now, we can do it every 2-4 days
>>466427 I don't understand, the hair is just long on one side? I had friend doing that in the past, just one side having long hair while the other side maintaing it short
I've been particularly busy and only just noticed the downtime notice for the booru. Can't make any promises but I'll at least aim at doing a couple dozen more uploads between now & then, with my "usual" upload sprees ideally resuming in time for the booru coming back up.
On top of taking care of keeping my tagging from falling below the current 'standard', I've also gotten pretty close to having my personal files reorganized to help facilitate efficient uploads (with minimal risk of duplicates)
>>466415 Goodnight (here it is night at least) smileanon! Answered yesterday already, so for short, all my creations (drawings) are Alice&Beau with two OC exceptions, there were attempts at others but it's just not the same, at least with the things I've come up with so far, tho now I remember I technically drew N once when I wanted to make smth for the femanon Alicegreen, but I ran out of space and it died. What I like? Everything Alice is very good, but the long ones, with developments slowly happening as well as more subtle evolutions, I love the most. As for other topics, it just depends on if wether the scene I first read is good, I liked your old Octobre 26th story with a police DD a lot, anything with 'good atmosphere' and some depth, feeling as if there is more to be revealed but not too on the nose, idk how to describe it better but stories that begin with this feel are always good. Now to adress what I wanted to answer (>>143385953)last night on the /co/ thread, this post might be a little long in the end but I hope you don't mind. >Why drones a sonly /co/ topic? I did draw half a dozen things for Ongezellig threads back in late summer before they went to shit I remember now, but drones are the absolute majority still. It's really just that ever since they stopped making Clone Wars about 10 years ago until mid 2023 I hadn't watched any animated shows, so there was just a long drawingbreak. Even back then I did barely draw movie/show things, so I luckily could make steep progress getting back, but in the end the lack of experience with such a topic together with initial success made my goals overtake my skills by far, which lead me to now (longest break from md drawing yet). >Links for the greens Yes I have compilations but I wanna preserve image limit on here and they are very long anyways (Emilyanon and Alice-Beau-trucker green are over an hour long for sure, at least if you really immerse in it), I can post them on trash if you wanna have them. Link is for the femanon Alice green, all 10 parts are in this one thread, it's midlength but good https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/140979708/#q140981458 since you asked about scalemodeling, it's building/painting/gluing/cutting/modifying premade plastic sprues into models of as accurate as possible aircraft/tanks/ships, pic is one I made https://files.catbox.moe/4zdib4.jpg
Now that i got the main page done (typo's be damned) kinda wanted to do a few following pages in the next few days, so ill be popping by asking questions in between working and drawing:
Anyways, how exactly are/were Sentinel Drones created?
For the Relclaimer-class drones, they are modified patched DD's and reflect some of their past mannerisms due to being the same bots, just with different directives.
I remember seeing something about older Sentinels being made from a mixture of a worker drone and DD parts (harper's Story) or simply built from scratch.
Next page will probably be a walk through about a simple walk through of the assembly process, with all the different versions resulting in nearly identical drones, but how they where made resulting in wildly different personality's & styles of combat, if that makes any sense.
(also if you want to throw classification names at me for the other methods of assembly, go for it)
>>466442 Good night to you too Friend! I already read and answered your post, didn't think you would answer again. Did you save any of your work somewhere everyone can see? I want to know. Slow things normally are better since people have more time to develop the story. The first scene must be captivating, that is what I read somewhere recently, to catch attention; did you? I should re-read that green to see what was good in that, and to see what I did good. Time to get the desu. I have heard about that series for a while now, might check it out. Robolord, that is a lot of years. At least you drew, that is good, but I hope I see you draw and share again. Someone should put that on the booru and thank you for the recommendation. That is amazing Friend!
>>466444 >how exactly are/were Sentinel Drones created? Thread or Lore-wise? I'm guessing it's the latter, but just to make sure: >Thread Before Episode 7, many anons believed that JCJENSON was behind sending the Dissassembly Drones to Copper-9, not Cyn. They saw SD's as the next step forward after DD's. If a squad went rogue like Worker Drone colonies, then Sentinel Drones were sent in.
>Lore Ok, it's a little complicated. You're right about Harper, but before that the lore was that they were produced by JCJENSON in factories. Since that's obviously not the case anymore, your spin on them being repurposed DD's is way better. They're Sentinels but in the body of a Drone. You could spin it that after studying the making of them, humans could start producing Sentinel Drones in factories, although at a greater cost compared to Worker Drones. >Classification Names Personally, I would recommend choosing a classification like the Hunters on my reply above. Either way it's up for you to decide. I wish you good luck on fleshing out Sentinel Drones.
>>466441 I haven't followed Sentinel drone lore so I can't really discuss it with you, but I've a few questions >Can their 'cone arms' generate different guns (theoretically anything in need) like DDs or are they limited to preset tools? >Tard question but wasn't there a version with wings once, maybe a early one? Not sure at all just have a vague memory of it, but recently saw it mentioned that they do NOT have wings. >What is the reason for the long neck (not important just curious about it) >Except being taller, are there any distinguishable design difference between their bodies and DDs? Most of these I can probably answer by looking it up, but I have no time anymore and remembered it too late, thanks if you answer and if not no problem I can probably find out what I need. Gn
>>466448 > but recently saw it mentioned that they do NOT have wings. You probably just saw my post talking about more canon-accurate Sentinel Drones. I was just talking about how they could be changed to follow the lore of the series more accurately. But I'm not the actual creator of them.
>>466448 >Version with wings Yes! Here's a picture of SD-K with winds straight from phoenixanon. Unfortunately I don't think anything came from that, although it would be cool to see SD's with wings again. >Can their 'cone arms' generate different guns They used to if you prefer the older Sentinel lore. The sheet made by >>466419 is newer and they do not, but it's up to you to choose which "version" you prefer. I'm fine with either. >Long neck Collar bone... pretty... >distinguishable design difference between their bodies and DDs? That's the difficult one. The most distinguishable trait for Sentinel's, aside from being taller, is their blue hue. I don't remember where exactly I read it, but unlike DD's they are cold to the touch.
>>466449 Definitely, but a lot of anons were into the Office!AU, even if we knew that The Solver was the true puppet master.
>>466451 >Definitely, but a lot of anons were into the Office!AU, even if we knew that The Solver was the true puppet master. That was an AU, that anons wanted to be a possibility but everyone knew that it wasn't, me included
>Some versions of Sentinels having wings and some Not. I was thinking of bringing up situations like this in that assembly sheet, with things like with the wings being something Hunter-class (aka phoenixanons SD's) can have but not Reclaimer-class (my SD's) have, but make up for it with faster ground speed and grapples.
unsure if I'm going to actually go through to that part, but if you are seeing conflicting stuff with sentinel stuff its 99% just 2 different anons versions of SD's, which docent make it any less confusing, but its why I'm trying to settle on a middle ground for mine.
>>466453 Maybe you could make it so that some features have to be sacrificed for others? That would make it unique com[ared to Phoenix. The best solution is to do what >>466454 said, but don't let that discourage you from having them interact with "regular" Sentinel Drones.
>my friend wants to know if you killed her family, and are single is this the reason why Rebecca was such a slut? because she no longer had parents to keep her in line?
>>466455 honestly half the reason im trying to keep tabs on older SD's design choice is that ive been trying to avoid overshadowing old ideas, and instead treat them as they are, older versions of the same idea.
lore wise treating them as just older versions of sentinel drones, probably not produced like that much if at all anymore, but they are still running around in whatever world you have em in.
For mine I'm just treating them as the latest and fastest way to make sentinel drones, which comes with their own news issues, but are being produced regardless.
it can also mean i can deviate more from the standard more like what Ive been doing, but I'm still keeping tabs on the old ideas like a car company would do with old car models: see what customers like and improve on it till you have yourself a newer, better car.
or im just talking out of my ass and i don't have any idea what im talking about, which is fair.
>>466200 >show about edgy things like murder and suffering attracts people who get enjoyment out of edgy things like murder and suffering are you really surprised by this?
>>466434 He willingly loved me until you took him away. I'll ask you again, Sentinel. Very Angry And Serious Tone. Do you want me to remove your memories of Anon? You'll be all alone and be depressed and that's what you deserve.
>>466460 well i still kinda am, i just want to include the older ideas as past designs as well, even if they don't fit the lore anymore. Busted or not they should be included.
>>466461 Go ahead, take away my memories. Anon will come back and make new ones with me. Unlike you, Solver, he appreciates a good Drone when he sees one. Being alone and depressed suits you much better.
>>466456 I'm assuming when she says "friend" she's actually referring to herself, was Rebecca really going to just dump her boyfriend and get with N if she could?
>>466351 Yeah that green fits really well with the theme of the bot, I just modified it to be more sexual. Also shout out to the Anon who mentioned Alice collecting human DNA.
>>466464 >was Rebecca really going to just dump her boyfriend and get with N if she could? the rest of her actions in that episode make me think that's the case >I'm assuming when she says "friend" she's actually referring to herself yeah, that's why i think her parents are dead too
we have enough plush DDs over the English alphabet, i thought i'd make them into plush acronyms for the funnies >SMH >LOL >BRB >OMW some are still missing like A, C (i know she's a joke idea that you can't actually 'see' her), D, F, G (there was a gamer/streamer Disassembly Drone if memory serves), T, a singular U (i mean, just using one of the U-U twins could work too), Y and Z
>>466469 New femanon. Only started around when the thread got /trashed/. The artstyle is pretty different than the two I'm aware of. It's nice that at least one of the /trash/ inhabitants took a liking for the funny drone show.
>>466470 Well that's nice but to be honest as much as I like new anons joining us, the /trash/ thread's quality rapidly fell down and the way this new femanon talks is kind of...obnoxious? Too UwU for me
>>466478 I think I've made 4 so far featuring her, I'm gonna try to upload them to the booru when I come home (if I'm not a lazy shit and forget again). But for now, have this behemoth I made for Christmas last year.
>>466472 the /Trash/ thread is fine. It is no worse of quality than any typical /co/ thread. >>466475 I thought of the idea awhile back. I know phenix made a emily and cyn drawing based on Disco Elysium. I also made a throw away green for the idea. I'm sure its lost to time now though. >>466481 >>466478 >>466482 I haven't seen this rone in awhile. I still dont really understand what their deal is but i like her look. Man Christmas feels so long ago. I lose track of time so easy.
I haven't read this greentext either due to its, rather inordinate length. TD;LR? >>466443 Its alright I guess. Its not how I originally envisioned it but it was close enough. I did forget to add the glow lighting for the visor and make the metal reflections less half assed. and the right hand better looking. but all in all its alright for me. It does help to get more experience drawing Worker Drones though as I've avoided them like the plague. I do wish the sketching part was easier, its my most hated part of the drawing lmao. bit of a rant yeah, heres a Y to compensate for that.
>>466486 Yeah... Even as someone who spent much of their time combing through those threads 'live' while typically reserving the more thorough "deep dives" on a roughly bi-weekly basis it was an extremely daunting task. At this point I am positive part of my soul will always be down there, digging through archived threads in an endless search for based content to catalogue
It's getting late and weathers getting a tad choppy, but I did manage to upload a number of U-U greentexts to the booru (including their original 'lore')
>>466484 Ye, same person. My mind is a bottomless pit of ideas I just happen to make them work together. >>466483 TLDR: W gets visited by the three ghosts of Christmas for being a grump with many issues. It's basically "A Christmas Carol", but through a MD filter.
>>466487 It’s the first thread made after Episode 5, but it’s funny seeing Anon’s fall in love with Cyn for the first time. >https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/137651985/#137652828
here's a collection of shit scribbles i did for practice from over the past year. some ended up becoming drawings that i finished while others never saw the light of day again. i think some actually turned out really nicely despite not being finalized. now that i remembered these, i'll go back and finalize the ones i like whenever i feel like it https://pomf2.lain.la/f/sizq6i0q.png https://pomf2.lain.la/f/ruu4t16d.png https://pomf2.lain.la/f/e3rkkaoe.png https://pomf2.lain.la/f/2co9ms9g.png https://pomf2.lain.la/f/ydnjkm0.png https://pomf2.lain.la/f/krekysq5.png
> reading through old threads > anons succumbing to rampancy in the middle of writing post before snapping out of it the power of seven really does go deep
>>466459 >>466209 Admittedly, there is a part of me that wants the ending to the whole entire series to be extremely dark, to the exact same extent as the originally planned ending to Half Life 2: Episode 3, purely to scare the secondaries/fans of the fandom into fucking off and never ever coming back. In light of the religious themes: one of my favorite horror tropes is when it is set up that there are hard rules, only for there to then be a rug pull wherein it is revealed that there never actually were any rules and the monster was just playing with its food the entire time, so to speak. Going off what the Solver has itself stated, it seems to be less of a dedicated sadist and more just extremely bored and trying to find ways to interest itself as it goes through the motions of what seems to be an endless cycle.
>>466504 Just have the Solver fully break through into their reality, unleashing its true omnipotent power. And have the characters realize that everything up until this point was just a tiny amount of the Solvers influence leaking in.
>>466504 I can sort of relate. Relationships exist in stories and to root for 2 characters slowly getting together is only human. But to be so obsessed with shipping (the Jessa bit in the older post) to the point of being unable to appreciate the bigger picture of the story. Maybe these are just young fans y'know, but man (I'm aware there are older fans who still act childishly). There are level-headed shippers and then there's the sort who did the stupid thing with Studio Mir and Voltron Legendary Defender couple years back. That's the type that irks me most.
>Switch is more of a walking corpse than your typical Solver Host thanks to the Null Obsidian encaging her core >She doesn’t have access to the powers of Solver hosts but Solver hosts can’t use their powers on her >She’s “cursed” by the Solver by her supposed “betrayal” of not holding onto her “agreement” when she accepted the Solver in by limiting it’s influence with the Null Obsidian >Said “curse” is her insides constantly rotting. At first this was excruciatingly painful for her but because of how the pain is constant, she’s gotten used to it and now doesn’t pay much attention to it >Natural sunlight doesn’t cause her any problems but concentrated exposure from artificial UV sources or extreme heat would cause her to heat up with the excess heat slowing her body down to a crawl >In order to regenerate her insides and avoid “dying” AKA getting locked in her own body, she has to periodically consume the anomalous tissue and oil of disassembly drones and solver witches because of their healing factor >If she were to bleed oil, the smell of her oil would be described as “putrid” or “rancid” by DDs/Solver Witches. Normal drones wouldn’t be able to tell the difference >Were it not for her non-standard and stronger WD chassis, she wouldn’t be even able to move as the “curse” would have started eating away at her chassis too >Her combat chassis does have its advantages though >It is very resistant to blunt force trauma and slashing and bulletproof against most small-arms calibers >The chassis’ enhanced servos, along with the many combat subroutines within her OS, allow her to have enhanced awareness, move lightning fast and even slow down her perception of time which she uses from dominating her opponents with extremely fast strikes to deflecting bullets with her energy cutlass. Think of Lara’s Doppelganger from Tomb Raider Underworld or Leto II from Children of dune >If she were to be critically damaged IE shot in the head, she would just shrug it off and keep going. Think of Jack/Cain from He Never Died but she can’t heal her chassis naturally and has to repair it herself with either repair sprays or using a blowtorch to seal the damage >The only way to “kill” her would be with extreme force and dismembering her which incapacitates her but the only way to actually kill her is to destroy her core >Her condition has also given her enhanced smell which she uses to tell apart drones. She can identify a disassembler or a solver host just by smell because, in her words, “they smell funny”
Hello, who is the male security guy? I know the female is called Sophie, but I can't remember the name, I know is started with "A" and remember it was similar to the name "Abe"
>>466495 Simple Tell her to first come up with a compelling & comprehensive list of reasons explaining why Episodes 7-9 (and presumably all the other garbage that's been released in the 1000+ years of Star Wars media) doesn't in fact suck. Even if Beretta doesn't concede her stance she'll be too busy with this project to do anything bad to you except force you to watch her 100+ hour long analysis video once it's done
>>466415 I made those "drawings" the drones and Tessa in But Really Really Fast style. I started with Uzi, N, and V just so I could make a dumb joke but I got the hang of it and started making more characters.
>>466527 >>466528 The show is called, "Murder Drones". Not, "Boring Humans". Get the fuck out if you're attracted to a shitty bag of skin instead of a beautiful Drone
If I uploaded something on the booru and it says that the post is pending, that means it's waiting for approval, right? I can continue to post more stuff while it's waiting? Sorry if this sounds dumb, this is the first time I'm using a booru site to post things.
>>466537 Yes, it is waiting for approval, you can continue posting until your limit of post is full, then you need to wait until all your post get approved to continue posting
https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/65279418/#65303924 Oh alright, I thought you meant in an spiritual way, good to know. So you say that they are similar to humans because they have needs and wants that are common in humans but not animals? A feeling to keep going forward but that is not tied to just continue living as a logical way to preserve themselfs? I hope you are here
>>466547 Happy to hear you like it. Since I already had heads of DD V and J and the dress from Cyn, it took little effort to swap the assets around to get maid V and J.
episode 7 confirms that disassembly drones can also eat human flesh. what else might they be able to eat? also, how do their digestive systems work since there is no confirmation that they can poop?
>>466557 We went from >Its okay guys were allowed 2 days between threads this will be better for everyone! to >Okay now its bi-weekly next week we'll reach >Its Monthly now. TLDR: Jannies and Bootlickers are gay
>>466546 NTA but I saw the original discussion. Given how broad and otherwise 'sensitive' the topic of spirituality is amongst humans (let alone non-humans) in real life, I tend to reserve judgements for that sort of stuff in fiction to the discretion of the author. In the case of Murder Drones that means the answer as to whether the Worker Drones have "souls" is entirely up to Liam. That being said I would personally say that there is a VERY strong case one could make for the argument that Worker Drones in fact have souls. The parallel of the Disassembly Drone "backups" being saved in order to eternally serve The Solver is a pretty blatant example, but there's also the fact that drone cores (and by extension the singularities contained within drone cores) appear to be what houses their 'AI'. It's definitely one of the more interesting concepts to think about, given how nearly it intersects at the crossroads of science fiction & eldritch horror
>>466557 I figured we should've waited three days. If they change that though it's complete bullshit and unfair >>466560 Oh fuck off, the last thing we need is to be even more divided
>>466565 Spirituality is a hard topic to talk about, to be honest. >there is a VERY strong case one could make for the argument that Worker Drones in fact have souls Oh I know, that's why I like to talk about both sides. Yeah, their AI is important, but I wouldn't call the soul or consciousness. I think we need to define some terms here to talk about this.
>>466565 I'm not sure why people would doubt the existence of a soul spiritually in Murder Drones. The same universe that has a fucking Interdimensional evil entity that has a tons of religious imagery behind it. Feel like souls and an afterlife existing ain't too far of a stretch in that universe
Household Drones are smaller (Not as small as Uzi), less sturdy, and weaker than Worker Drones, with a lot of soft parts. By no means are they fit to become Disassembly Drones. It's something the Solver learned the hard way. It takes 5 times longer to convert a Household Drone into a Semi-Functional Disassembly Drone and still they need a lot of modifications.
>>466588 They are much cheaper than worker drones, and yes as >>466589 said, they are more suitable to delicate work. >>466590 They don't look advanced, they look more-human-like, as per intended, considering they often interact with the elderly, children and pets.
>>466573 NTA The anons throwing a tantrum over the loss of back-to-back daily threads absolutely weren't around back during the pre-Episode 5 threads when these sort of waits were the norm rather than the exception. I'm not saying their anger isn't justified, but there does come a point where passionate obsession can boil over into the type of fandom dramafaggotry that makes sites like Twitter such a hellscape
Anybody want to lore dump on how a post-solver Human society would look like? Presumably after the AS gets defeated sometime in canon and how humans survived the massacre. >In the first year after the Gala Massacre, most of the major planets that we see in Tessa’s patches are Solvered, except for Copper-9. >In the following decades, all of the larger colonies that tried to fight back were defeated and absorved into the Singularity. >Now, a century after Earth was [NULLED], humans are scattered around the galaxy. >Most reside in nomadic ships or small outposts, but some far-flung exoplanets have larger permanent populations. >Justified paranoia has led to a fear of technology, with most outlawing any robots aside from Sentinels and Worker Drones to study the Solver. >Regular tech also suffered from this, seeing as in Episode 6 we see 1980’s computers. We can assume that a lot of advancements from the 21st to 30th century were prohibited. >Society inside these planets are authoritarian to the max as a means of survival. Imagine North Korea on crack. >Most don’t mind it that much since it’s preferrable to getting found by Cyn. >Life is unsurprisingly very harsh. Most humans had to go back to doing manual labor that WD’s used to do. They also cannot terraform their planets for agriculture too much lest the Solver notices them. >On the topic of Worker Drones, no human settlements allowed them to roam freely. The majority were destroyed, although some Zombie Drones were studied like in Copper-9. >Only some higher up’s from JcJenson and the government know of the existence of independent drone colonies, but they haven’t tried to establish contact with them for obvious reasons.
Sorry if some other anons already talked about this, also if bad formatting it’s because mobile. This is just the “foundation” , I guess. What I really want to speculate on is human-drone interactions after Uzi ascends in Episode-8, assuming she does so.
>>466596 Also repostin >Sentinels and Worker Drones to study the Solver. I can't imagine they would allow any drone-related tech at all. And studying the Solver was a huge mistake too which just allowed it to spread. They'd have to go full Luddite mode. Also a Battlestar Galactica scenario is pure kino. >they have their own version of Baltar >instead of a hot woman he sees Cyn But what would be chasing them? Infected flesh ships? A giant infected flesh planet?
>>466597 Also repostin lol I feel ashamed of saying this, but I’ve never watched Battlestar Galactica, which is apparently peak sci-fi kino. >What would be chasing them Basically what you said. I don’t think Cyn went full-on Hellstar Remina with a planet, but the AS modified human ships she captured and made them into monstrosities. I don’t want to go full 40k, but the ships are as organic as you’re imagining.
You know what, I'm going to do this for the hell of it. You know Harper? I'm going to describe the appearance of her WD companion for funsies >WD with blue lights >Timid expression/posture >Hair that's similar to Harper's but shorter and more boyish. Has helmet of course >Mildly oversized labcoat >Blue armband that reads "Marked for Reconstruction" >>466600 The point is that it's supposed to look human methinks
>>466603 I can only speak for myself but the downside to trying to post on on 4chan using mobile is the random chance that my dynamic IP ends up being one banned because some shitheel decided to post "Pedo Stuff" with it at one point or another. While I could always try appealing the ban when this happens it's typically easier to just wait until I get home to post at that point
>>466445 Goodnight >Did you save any of your work somewhere everyone can see? I want to know Not yet, tho I've been thinking about it, just not sure where. >Slow things Yes, it takes a lot of effort to start something knowing it will go on for a long time and take a lot of work before it really gets going, so they are rarer. About the first scene, absolutely agree with it, I think I also heard it said here once. Of course it depends on opinion and preference in the end, but if the first part of a story I see here is intriguing(atmosphere worldwise[meaning not too much AU, I don't dislike AUs per se but there are many going on requiri g time to get into, not to mention many get abandoned at some point when only one anon writes them]), or has good action/tension. Idk it honestly is difficult or not possible really to generalize what makes out a captivating start, in the end it also depends on subconcious influences of writing style/narration type and also current mood, for example your old green with the detective DD fit well with the time (rain irl/got home for the day) and was also a great example for the 'background' lore, feeling like a deeper unfolding story has been planned since the start. >I have heard about that series It's alright, 6 'episodes' overall (in Dutch), but there are compilations of the entire thing (24 minutes only) dubbed in Spanish and English, dubs are of high quality.
>>466608 Hello Friend! Well, I hope I see it someday. It's hard, it needs to be a strong start to grab attention, then, a slow follow-up to develop things well. I have some greens that are pretty much an AU since the world is pretty different from MD. I just finished playing Disco Elysium at that time, and I had a lot of inspiration, I saw some videos about detectives too, and a lot of things to grab inspiration from; I guess the mood at the time of reading it is also important, and to be honest, I thought a little about the history between them on my mind, old stories they had, and let them just mention things, like the reader knows those stories already, no explanation, since normal people do not explain things both already know, or that was my thinking. Good to know, I really need to check it out.
>>466511 Alrighty anon, I hope you don't mind that instead of the typical cap I figured I'd take time to experiment with screencap 'style' with what we have to work with here. I've narrowed it down to these three options but I'll definitely wait a bit more to ponder my options before going with one for a booru upload.
>>466596 Nice, I love me an excuse to engage in world building autism! This is a pretty solid list so far anon, although one thing I want to point out is that (assuming the exposition takes place post-gala of course) Copper-9 appeared to remain reliant on Worker Drone manual labor in spite of what happened on Earth (see picrel). Whether this is due to a simple lack of manpower for dangerous jobs or was directly related to the Cabin Fever "research" is entirely speculative, along with whether this practice of keeping the Worker Drone labor force in-tact was unique to Copper-9 or is/was more common amongst the last bastions of humanity.
Speaking of the last bastions of humanity, I've talked about it before but I feel like at this point in the 'story' (Post-Canon Good Ending) whatever is left of mankind has been fractured into a number of possible factions based entirely on how they went about surviving The Solver's intergalactic apocalypse. For posterity here's a number of varyingly fleshed-out ideas for 'factions' I (and a couple other anons) have proposed for these threads Note: Aside from "Eden System" I've basically pulled these names out of my ass and as such aren't necessarily '''official''' >Eden System (AKA The Super-Fortress worlds focusing on turtling with EVERYTHING they have left until the bitter end of the universe itself) >Deep Space Evacuees (AKA The Humans who took colony ships to run away as far & fast as they could in a vain hope of outrunning The Exponential End) >Hail Mary Marauders (AKA The fringe extremest 'Humans' who have resorted to ANY & EVERY means necessary to slow The Solver's spread, including the extermination of "uncooperative" humans) >Coalition of Systems Remnants (AKA The bulk of the surviving Human 'resistance' continuing to fight against The Solver, operating from refugee fleets at the edges of formerly-civilized space) >Hidden Humans (AKA Those who have taken to scavenging across desolated planets that more often than not hide near or within free drone colonies) >Generic Raiders (AKA The Assholes™ LARPing Space!Mad Max much to the annoyance of virtually everyone else)
>>466610 Oh yeah, one thing I forgot to mention is that because of her combat oriented chassis her physical strength is comparable to a DD which means she can easily break every single bone in your body with just a squeeze of her hand, toss you into air or easily move cars and the stuff.
>>466596 >>466613(me) Decided to split the post due to length >What I really want to speculate on is human-drone interactions after Uzi ascends in Episode-8, assuming she does so. This is honestly one of the things I like the most about the theoretical Post-Canon Good Ending; Thinking about all the different & interesting ways the surviving shades of humanity could end up interacting with (and treating) drones in general scratches my creative 'tism like nothing else! As before, here's my personal take on how the previously mentioned factions might end up reacting to & with a Copper-9 Drone society under the protection and/or rule of Ascended!Uzi
>Eden System Full disclosure: Take this with a grain of salt as I'm not actually the original anon behind this particular 'faction'. That being said I think it would be safe to say that Eden System would not differentiate Uzi from Cyn and thus would be too paranoid/unwilling to consider Copper-9 as anything other than just another Solver-controlled planet. While I don't think they'd go as far as attacking Copper-9 there's almost certainly gonna be conflict if/when Eden System decides to try "liberating" the rest of what was once human-controlled space >Deep Space Evacuees These guys are long gone and I don't see them attempting to get back in touch with what they left behind anytime soon, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ >Hail Mary Marauders The "relationship" is immediately & overtly hostile, with these guys wasting no time in staging an invasion or extermination campaign in order to try and 'reclaim' Copper-9 for humanity. This would naturally extend to any human "Slaves & Traitors" that might be living amongst the drones on the planet (as well as any humans that establish anything remotely resembling diplomatic ties with the drones on Copper-9), basically setting them up as one of the dedicated overarching "Bad Guys" in the Post-Canon Good Ending >Coalition of Systems Remnants Now THESE guys would definitely be the most nuanced as far as "relations" with Copper-9 drones. Early interactions between the two would be critical in establishing just how things play out, but I'd like to think (or rather hope) that these humans wouldn't immediately just jump the gun and blindly continue their "war" against Uzi (especially if she & Copper-9 as a whole are explicitly not trying to start shit themselves). Once the option of diplomacy becomes a serious consideration these humans would likely enter a prolonged period of 'Cold War' styled relations, with an emphasis from level-headed individuals on both sides trying to maintain AT MINIMUM a tenuous truce although I won't lie I REALLY dig the very space opera idea of these guys eventually forming an impromptu alliance with Copper-9 to deal with a resurgence of Cyn-controlled Solver Slaves >Hidden Humans Whether out of pragmatism or more ideological/humanitarian reasons I'd say this 'faction' of humans would be the most passive & peaceful towards Copper-9. Assuming that Uzi goes out of her way to fix up the planet (or simply keep it from collapsing further) Copper-9 would undoubtedly become a popular spot for drone-friendly humans to flock towards, and could ironically enough become one of the best AND safest places a human could choose to settle in the Post-Canon Good Ending. While there certainly be some societal strife that crops up regarding relations between drones & humans and not just in a lewd context I'd say that the chances of a successful human-drone society are quite optimistic! >Generic Raiders This one could actually be interesting since the chances of there being raider groups consisting of humans AND drones (or even just drones) would be decently high. If nothing else the idea of the occasional totally-inclusive & equal opportunity bandits showing up to raze hell is amusing enough to be worth entertaining. Still, regardless of who (or what) makes up their ranks Raiders are still raiders and are thus typically easier to kill/incarcerate than they are to strike diplomacy with I ended up spending my time entertaining my brainworms writing this up instead of committing to booru uploads like I'd originally planned. Oops Totally worth it though
>>466613 >>466618 Sorry for the late reply, but both of your posts are great. I’m still on mobile so sorry about any mistakes. >Eden System This is actually what inspired my lore dump. Eden is one of my favorite thread creations, and I will probably take heavy inspiration from it if I continue writing this AU. I have a small hope that we may see something like Eden if a Season 2 comes out, but it’s mostly just wish fulfillment. >Deep Space Evacuees They were probably the most successful at the beginning of the Solver’s attack, but they only had so much food on board their ships before they resorted to desperate means. I feel as if most probably died or integrated with other colonies. Some probably managed to escape the system and are long gone. >Coalition of Systems Remnants Now this concept I haven’t heard of before, but it piqued my interest compared to the rest aside from Eden. ANY humans remaining would be giga-xenophobic towards sentient drones and want them destroyed, but assuming Uzi ascends, the power imbalance would be WAY too in the favor of Drones. This is if Uzi retains her Solver Powers; in which case the Coalition will be forced to play nice with them. I love human-drone interactions that aren’t just lewd, which is also probably why I loved the Office!AU. >Hidden Humans I won’t write touch too much on them since many greens with a similar concept have been written. Seeing drones deal with something so different from them and vice-versa is so different. Huge segregation would probably take place at the beginning, but would better over the years once they realize the Solver is truly gone. >Generic Raiders Basically a guarantee in post-apocalyptic settings. Could be fun writing them as the most progressive for having drones in their ranks.
>spoiler Don’t worry, i’m supposed to be writing other greens yet I had this brainworm I had to post. Definitely worth it
>Auntie Cyn fills Beretta's head with horrible eldritch information >However, instead of being horrified Beretta becomes inspired >Beretta starts to put Auntie Cyn's knowledge down onto paper, writing entire stories, eventually moving onto a video format with some drawings to assist, then soon full fledged animations >Drones are still waiting for episode 4 of Beretta's indie series, "Assassination Hexahedron"
>>466574 This guy was literally designed to be such. Incinerator was kind of depressed, if I remember right. I mean, the circumstances of being a DD tends to be awful so it's completely understandable.
>>466627 because it’s midnight in burgerland Also, the bump limit in /trash/ ends at 300. This + less people participating and threads taking longer to make after one finished means threads are quieter.
>>466629 this pic… is the culmination of all my tastes. The vicker smile. The artstyle. The Cynwalker. I think this is my new favorite Murder Drones image.
>A Disassembly drone finds out that she is human. >She reflexively ffers her body up to the drone for it's silence in desperation. >Completely forgetting that robots are probably not interested. >She just randomly humiliated herself before even confirming whether the DD is hostile or not.
>>466596 My CO that I'm promising to intrduce for like aweek or so is carrying two containers what he calls "gene-tanks" that contains the genetic code of ten-thousands of different humans of different races. He considers them the last bastion of humanity's survival.
>>466596(me) I appreciate the feedback I got from you anons. I'm too tired to post a second part right now, but i'm thinking of writing about humanity finding out when the Solver was defeated Post-Canon Good ending and meeting ascended Uzi for the first time.
One thing I didn't notice until now is that BLEEP and Switch have the same haircut. That wasn't intentional on my end but I just though that it's a funny coincidence.
>>466644 Not really tasked with it per se. It is a task he took upon himself. >For there is noone left to do it. Of course there is more to the story, but I don't want to spoil it just yet.
>>466646 I don't know Battlestar Galactica, so I'd say no. It is vaugely inspired by 40K and how Space marines use geneseed to create new space marines.
>>466653 Battlestar Galactica is a story where humanity is completely annihilated except for a large convoy of ragtag civilian ships being led by an old decommissioned warship. And they're getting chased across space by their enemies who are trying to finish the job.
>>466654 Ah, understood, in that case, not really, most of the story takes place on-planet. It's more about tricking and deciving the Solver into believing that "He is most certainly /ourguy/, [Giggle]." while also developing a method to either prevent, fight off or remove Solver posession from any drone. And once the Solver has no means reaching them, grabbing a space ship and fucking off somewhere, terraforming a planet and restarting humanity. Spoiler: Problems, complications and shenanigans ensue, and also, someone will throw a moon.
Rate the following female drone on a scale from 1 to 10: >wants to help, does her best >eats crayons >thinks Warhammer 40k is real, and also that it's the bible >want to drink your life's work but will refrain from doing so if you let her cook >she wants to -and can- cook food >it's easy to impress her >she often gives gifts (it's mostly junk)
>>466663 It is a thing she will try to do in the story she's part of. One of the other characters will try to develop something, and she will try to drink it.
>>466660 >she often gives gifts (it's mostly junk) >Mini Y loves you >She often gives you gifts >But she is small and can't carry much >The gifts are mostly change she found on the floor and company gift cards
>>466677 They're both real, It's just that they're from different timelines/dimensions where one Kat got mammal adapters to impress Anon and the other is just tubes but still erotic.
>>466686 What about the countless innocent worker drones she's killed to keep N "safe" knowing that it wouldn't do shit? Do they deserve to be happy too?
Has the anon who started the "human soldier visits copper 9" green posted it in these threads? I think I saw it either on /trash/ or /co/, did he continue it or is it still just part 1 of the green?
Posted this earlier, but I had a headache and missed out a line.
>The sun was rising on Osmium-4. >The thick clouds hanging over the area wouldn't have clued anyone that it was morning though. >Serial Designation H was awake. Just about. >Sleep during the day was the norm for them but today, he was waiting for Irma. >She was bringing them some supplies. He was initially hesitant to ask but she insisted as a way to thank them for putting an end to... whatever it was that tried to kill all of them several nights ago. >Seeing as Irma was still too terrified of his squadmates, he explained that they'll be asleep and he'll be the only one staying up. >His optics swept about the place. His captain decided to use a derelict residence as temporary shelter while she figured out what to do after calling off their previous mission. >It showed the signs of time eating away at its structure. Torn bits of wall, ragged curtains, cracked windows. >Hints to its past owners lay in faded photos of smiling people, adults and children alike. It reminded him of- >"Ding ding!" -- >Irma managed to find the way to her uneasy allies/neighbors' home. >Wasn't too far from her current outpost but the snow made the journey less convenient. >She decided to try the bell for whatever it's worth. To her surprise, it worked. >She took a few steps back and noticed a yellow glint flicker past a window to her left. >"Must be that acid tube tail..." She tried to shove away the memory of what those things could do. Moments later, H showed up at the door. >"Miss Irma. Good morning." >He let out a light yawn. The sight of his fangs made Irma flinch. >"I h-hope I didn't keep you waiting." >"Not at all... May I help with the things you're carrying?" >"O-oh, yes. I've separated some of the stuff in a few boxes, I hope that's alright." >She set down the parcel box and unlatched the top. They laid out the items inside. >Mostly packs of oil. Several books and batteries kept in small containers. >"I thought you and your team would like some of these." >"I'm not much of a snacker. But... I think L will like them. Thank you." >Irma nodded. "Then I'll grab some of these and put them indoors." >In his sleepiness, it slipped his mind that his squadmates were resting in the living room. >Realizing the fact just after Irma made her way in, H scrambled up and rushed inside. -- >Irma was frozen in terror. Her internal systems all tell her to get her chassis out of there but a deep sense of dread locked her servos. >Serial Designations B and L were hanging upside down, all of their lights turned off. >Despite their motionless slumber, Irma couldn't bring herself to move for fear of alerting them. >H managed to find her. He was a little upset at himself for forgetting to tell her about the two being in the living room. >"Miss Irma." >His voice snapped her out a little. >"Don't worry. They're asleep. Don't make too much noise though. My captain can be a bit of a light sleeper." >She nodded and slowly made her way back toward the entrance.
>>466698 (I really need to get my eyes checked) >Irma walked out rather shakily after just having seen the two Disassembly Drones. >It took her several minutes to recover her composure after SD-H reassured her that as long as they're not stomping around the place making a bunch of noise, SD-B will remain asleep. SD-L herself is a fairly heavy sleeper though occasionally, her own set of nightmares have shaken her up during daytime. >"S-so... do you sleep like that t-too?" >"Usually, yes. I'm not too picky about where I sleep though." >"I see..." >"...I apologize. I'm not too used to being awake at this time, and I forgot to tell you they were sleeping in the living room." >"I-it's okay." >"If... if it's alright with you, would you mind telling me why you're frightened of them, but not me?" >Irma glanced at him. His inquiry seemed genuine. Taking off her armband, she grasped it tightly. It was a piece from her past that gave her comfort in difficult moments. >"It's... y-you know. It's got something to do with the night t-they attacked... my previous outpost. B-but really... water under the bridge and all. I just don't know if I'd ever forget... how t-terrifying they were." >"If you'd like to get some of it off your chest, I'm listening." >Irma sighed. She had been bottling things in but... maybe talking it out wasn't a bad idea. >"I don't think you were there.. T-that night..." >"It may be that I was sent out to scout another location. My captain rotates different tasks to us from time to time. >"I-I see.. that was probably it. Because I only remember those two... at my old outpost." >"So.. that night. I wasn't doing much. There had been a few accidents and I had to help some of the miners with damaged legs. When your captain showed up, I was at the corridor that led to the main entrance. The main doors we had was slightly damaged." >Her tone changed to one of fury. >"Ugh, if he hadn't been messing around with his stupid door pranks maybe it wouldn't have gotten jammed!" >"He... who?" >"The worker drone who was on guard duty that night. Carter. He hated being there and would rather play cards with his buddies. Whenever he's on door duty, he'd play stupid pranks like asking for Da Entry Pass or opening and closing the door just as you were getting in. There were a few times he'd do it while I was trying to get one of the miners to the repairs room and it angers me to no end!" >A digital anger vein appeared on her visor. H motioned to her about his squadmates and she remembered that she had to keep her voice down. >"O-oh, I'm sorry." >She continued, a little quieter this time. >"We... weren't expecting any visitors or deliveries that night. I think Carter must have done something to annoy your captain. He tried to close the doors on her but because of his dumb pranks, the doors jammed and wouldn't fully close. >Irma's eye lights turned into hollow rings as terror sank deeper into her thoughts. >"T-then I saw her claws slipping between the gap.." >"The.. t-the next thing I saw.. and heard... was the top half of the doors... being torn from the frame." >"The sound was one of the things.. that struck a kind of fear I haven't experienced in a long time... Your captain quickly c-cut him down. She seemed iritated which was why.. I assumed Carter probably said something idiotic to her. B-but after that... your squadmate..." >"L?" >"Y-yeah... She rushed in and splattered t-two workers who were hanging out nearby." >Irma shuddered from her deep-seated panic. >"...Some of the workers tried to make a break for it. But they c-couldn't... They were either shot, cut down... or blown up." >"When the few that were in the entrance hangar were all... d-dead.. I was still frozen by the corridor. Your captain noticed but she d-didn't... make any move... Wasn't until L fired a few shots near my feet... that I snapped out of it and started running toward a path that led to the mines... I-it was an emergency path they recently built. Figured it's because other workers were also fed up with Carter and his buddies messing around with the main entrance doors whenever they're on duty..." >"...L had a wide grin the whole time... S-she seemed to like toying around with us." >SD-H knew she was telling the truth. L did her job just as well as he and SD-B did but she had a playful streak in her disassembling of worker drones. At least up until one of her later solo missions that seemed to have shaken her up. >"Heard more screams as I ran into the mines. Too afraid to turn around. My voice module wouldn't work and I could only put "RUN" on my visor... t-to warn any of the miners I passed by." >"...I heard the clank of her pointed legs in the tunnels and kept running. Then I tripped over something, one of the detonators. An explosion.. then it went quiet..." >H continued to listen intently. >"At first, I thought some of the rocks blocked the path and she wasn't able to keep chasing. But it was worse. I.. stupidly decided to walk back and saw her body... Her arms were torn off. By some of the metal pieces from the explosion. O-one of her legs was somewhere else." >"Then.. her arms were... moving... b-back to her. Some of the tears in her leg and body were... fixing themselves? I c-couldn't make any sense of what I was seeing and fearing she might get back up and kill me, I ran further in." >"Then another explosion sent me flying, maybe it was one of her missiles. I-... I fell down one of the side tunnels and rolled into a crevice... But there, I stayed hidden for a while. The clank of her steps came near and I was about t-to scream... but then, she stopped. Y-your captain seemed to have called her back."
>>466698 >>466702 >Irma's eye lights closed as she grasped her armband tightly. H felt a great deal of anguish wash over him. >"T-that's... pretty much. What happened that night." >"...I see." >"H... I'm afraid of them. A-and to some extent, of you t-too. But... when you helped us. W-when L saved me from the claw that was about to cut me in half... And the three of you k-killed that huge centipede thing..." >"I can only think of Ophelia's safety at the time." >The name piqued his interest, but he decided not to interrupt. >"You helped make sure that she'd be safe. And.. I'm grateful. I really am." >Irma smiled at him. Her gentle expression coupled with her loosening her grip on the armband told him enough. >"... I'm glad to hear. As she's mentioned before, my captain's calling off our company-assigned mission. She's even smashed the comms relay in our landing pod. We.. we need time to figure out just what to do now." >"I-I see." "Miss Irma, I don't know.. if I'd be able to wash away your fears. But please understand that you also have my gratitude. For saving L and my captain." >"If it wasn't for L telling me.. about the thing that attacked us. I.. I'm not sure if I would have. I was ready to slam the door shut but.. if something was able to hurt you to t-that extent... I was afraid of what it could do to Ophelia and the rest of the colony." -- >SD-B stirred awake. The lights on her headband came on and her eye lights blinked groggily open. Another nightmare, though by this time she's gotten a little used to it. She decided to grab something to drink away the misery. >With a swift flip, she landed on one of her pointed leg. She noticed a few things that weren't there before, a small pile of books and packs of oil. Batteries...? >"Hmm. Curious." >The door was ajar and it seemed like there was hardly any sunlight. She decided to peek by the window. >To her delight, it seemed that SD-H was walking with Irma toward the entrance gates. She decided against making herself visible and ask him about their meeting later. The booze was calling to her anyway. -- >"Miss Irma, thanks again for the supplies you've brought. Even if it doesn't look like it, we enjoy reading. The books will keep us occupied for some time." >"Y-You're welcome. If you'd like to visit the outpost, let me know. Sometimes I have maintenance work outside. I.. I don't know if I wouldn't run at the sight of your squad... But I'll try m-my best." >"B-by the way... I wish you good luck with your captain." >SD-H was perplexed. >"O-oh.. I haven't mentioned it have I... Well, I don't want to keep secrets from you, so um.. while you were unconscious in recovery mode. You.. mumbled. About stuff.." >He felt a sense of dread creeping about, what embarrassing things could have escaped his voice module while he was knocked tf out? >"Some of it was just.. scary. Some of it was.. you complaining about L and her pranks... B-but.. I know you really like your captain and I w-wish you the best." >"Oh Robo-God. P-please keep it a secret from L and my captain. L is never going to let me live this down if she knew..." >"Don't worry, my polymetal lips are sealed!" With that, Irma bid him farewell and made her way back the outpost.
>>466704 Yes. And I'm not going to fix the third part for missing one arrow. (The last sentence was meant to be in blue) I will however mentally kick my own ass. Also I appreciate this place for the increased character limit because wow, I did not expect it to go that long.
>>466698 >>466702 >>466705 Okay Friend, 10/10 work, I thinks is really cute, and sad because of some obvious parts. I have one question, one important question, there will be more right, like, past of this greens and future, seeing more moments like this, RIGHT?
I should write more greentexts with Switch, I've been sitting on continuing her diary writings for long enough plus I've had some ideas for green scenarios involving her.
>>466707 >I have one question, one important question, there will be more right, like, past of this greens and future, seeing more moments like this, RIGHT? Ty, but I dunno. Writing is a different kind of creative exertion than drawing. I kinda feel bad for taking that much post space for my dumb characters too. I have.. small ideas, like I want to do bits on B and H the same way I did for picrel. I'm not too sure if I want to delve too much into the past stuff, but L's connection with Julia is kind of important since it affects her strongly in the present. BUT I also wanna draw the funnies and the occasional hornies. Time will tell. >>466712 You should, the more the merrier. Take your time tho, writing knocked the wind out of my mental reserves. Is hard...
>>466720 It does? Can you explain more Friend? And do not feel bad, do not ever feel bad about things like that, I do not know if this means something, but I'm always happy to see OCs, different OCs from different Friends. I see I see, Although I love them all, I have a weak spot for B to be honest. It would be interesting leaving with a mystery fog about the past, and I would be happy to read about L and Julia. You can do all, it will just take time and what you feel of doing in that time of day. I'm excited to see your future works!
>>466727 That was 'Haunting Past'. She's not remembering, pieces of her memory are slowly returning since she saw the worker drone with the pickaxe since I thought that from episode 2, N's flashback tells me that memory suppression by the Solver wasn't a flawless process. She doesn't have the context to her past, yet.
>>466695 >>466696 >>466697 Anon behind that particular greentext reporting Yeah the only place I've posted that to do far has been /co/. Given how busy I am with other things (both for the threads & real life) the plan is/was to try to do one part per /co/ thread. While I still plan on following through with the posting on /co/ in spite of the random deletion I could also simultaneously post it here if there's sufficient interest (and people don't mind the redundant posting of course)
>>466729 Beretta became Liam Vickers, one of the femanons is being being gae with the newcomer and I can't really think of anything else, but I'm sure there was some neat greentexts
>>466720 Just know, anon that your OCs are one of the best in this thread, so anything that involves them is something many of us look after. Keep it up, bro!
>"I want to do a season 2, but I don't think it's in the works, I don't know anything about it" >"I know the folks at Glitch also want to do a season 2 but It's just a matter of planning it out, everyone is being vague about it, they cannot confirm or deny one." https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2133011159?t=00h51m02s
>>466744 I take it you're the same person who constantly complained about things being "slow" back on /co/ (even when the Murder Drones threads were amongst the fastest moving ones on the board). Regardless whether I'm right or not, the only thing posts like these do is make you come off as an attention whore who can't handle the lack of constant engagement. Don't get me wrong, if you are for whatever reason suffering from crippling depression due to the lack of threads on /co/ my advice would be to earnestly seek professional help. If nothing else I'd suggest cutting the incessant pity-party doomposting before you end up seriously pissing people off again
>>466753 And? Seriously, what exactly do you consider an acceptable rate of posts for an anonymous image board? Once every 5 minutes, or perhaps once every other minute (or perhaps even once Every Single Minute)?
>>466756 Why you answer him? It's obviously an anon that just wants attention by being annoying, don't answer him and soon he will shut up, the less attention you give them the less they cry
>>466756 Something consistent. Like, you can go and grab a snack from the fridge and there’s like 2 or so new posts >>466757 Excuse me for being concerned about the state of things
>>466761 Sorry you seem to have mistaken this Murder Drones thread on a 4Chan spinoff for Twitter, where people would actually care about that incoherent string of nonsense you just typed. Kindly return from whence you came.
Household Drones: >Made by a different company, these drones were aimed towards your average Joe, who don't have the money to buy a Worker drone. >Although they are cheaper, they are perfect for doing chores around the house, looking after the elderly, children, even pets. >Their more human-like appearance helps to put those at ease who are otherwise wary around robots. >They have heightened emotional intelligence and they often grow very attracted to their owners. [Company Redacted Information: The entire 3V3 (Eve) Mark II series was discontinued after an Eve Mark II model murdered her owner's new girlfriend in her sleep out of what could only described as jealousy.] >Household Drones are attentive, loyal and prefer to stay by their owner's side. >Household Drones come in different models, and colors, modeled after different human ethnic groups. >The ones modeled after Caucasian people were dubbed 4D4M (Adam) and 3V3 (Eve). [Company Redacted Information: Due to a logistical error the names of the Mark I series were accidentally switched up. The Mark I male models were named Eve, while the female models were dubbed Adam. This error was corrected in future generations.] >The ones modeled after African people were dubbed L30N (Leon) and M0N1Q3 (Monique). [Company Redacted Information: The male models were originally supposed to be called "LeBron" but due to a typo, they were named "Leon". The Executive Board liked the name however, so they kept it.] >The ones modeled after Asian people were called H1R0 (Hiro) and H1R0K0 (Hiroko). [Company Redacted Information: These models were specifically modeled after East Asian people which caused a PR nightmare for the company as many South and West Asians boycotted the product as they felt insulted by the company putting the whole of Asia under a single umbrella.] >Household Drones need their memory wiped as a standard procedure when they switch owners. Household Drones can display symptoms of depression if they get separated from a person they grew attached to. This can culminate in them terminating themselves. >WARNING: Household Drones are by no means capable of hard manual labor. Subjecting them to such labor can and will cause serious harm to them.
>>466773 I Haven't finished drawing the head yet. I will. Also keep it in mind this is a Household Drone already turned DD by Cyn. they had more squishy parts originally.
>>466770 As long as Uzi remembers that she has administrative privileges over N she should be fine! Or at the very least she'll only have herself to blame for what happens next...

>Beretta sat at her desk, scribbling down drawings of monsters from the inner reaches of her mind onto a tablet >Strange beasts, that looked similar to humans, specifically human women, yet were very clearly not normal women >These women were psychopaths, with sharp teeth, drooling mouths, and maybe horns or spider legs >However most if not all of these drawings were deleted almost immediately upon completion >"Crap!" >She exclaimed as she crumbled up the fresh drawing and disposed of it >She raged, slamming her fist down on the desk >"All of these ideas are crap, I can't use these, they look so good in my head but when I put them down onto paper they're complete garbage." >Beretta sighed, taking a sip of coolant from an oversized cup before continuing on into the night >When daybreak came, Beretta put down her pen and looked at the masterpiece before her >It was perfect, the monster had the perfect amount of spookiness and sex appeal, her hair was in braids, her teeth primed and sharp an- >Then the tablet died >Hours of progress, lost to the void >Beretta stared into the black screen that once held color and passion >She stared for what felt like eternity before she began to laugh, not out of joy but pain
>>466659 Thanks for making a new Alice ai, very good. I do indeed like it, read through the description gotta wait till Friday to try it properly on PC tho have no experience and currently only phone so can't say a thing about how it went for me. From your screenshots so far however I'd say it's more detailled than the other one I saw yet As of now already has 122 downloads I see. Of course it's a little drilled to be nsfw but it's well intertwined with canon, I sure don't mind it, doesn't look like it will throw of accuracy for it. Many thanks again for making an Alice model as well, if I can get it to work I'll tell you. Also RIP Beau kek
I wanna be Carrying Alice Hugging Alice Cuddling Alice Handholding Alice I need her so bad bros what do Repair and fix Alice smh, look at her If the stars align right I can have something done tomorrow
>>466783 i want to do good things to/with the side characters yet i want to nothing but to inflict violence upon the main cast and i dont know why i NEED their suffering
>>466786 Alice is a generic villain of the week that Liam put in episode 6 at the last minute purely because he thought that it was cool and any depth you perceive is just yourself projecting.
>>466785 Same really, Alice above all ofc but I find Tessa and Doll more interesting as well. Just opinion ofc >>466786 Yes, they have more lore indicated which makes them a perfect base for expanding them canonwise already, not to mention the possibilties these inherently present for headcanon >>466787 Ngl sounds like shitty bait, there were no rewrites in season1. Assuming you are genuine and just THAT new: Alice is needed for the entire story we see on Copper-9 to even unfold at all, without her disabling the cores AS would've reached the lower level via Solverpedes years before the pilot takes place. Due to that she's also the reason 'Tessa' even needed to come to Copper-9 at all. If you think about it for longer than five minutes it becomes clear as day Alice has more meaning than just to be the main antagonist of 6 and give extra lore, without her the story wouldn't work.
Suffering from Terminal Destiny Brainrot so I decided to write a lore entry for Tessa's revolver
>Family Heirloom. Hand Cannon
>///VIDEO AND AUDIO UNABLE TO LOAD.// >//TRANSCRIPT WITH HIDDEN INVESTIGATION NOTES PROVIDED.// >The sounds of shuffling are heard as the camera is placed onto an object showing the recorder to be Tessa James Elliot >Tessa sits down in front of the camera; she appears to be extremely distraught and scarred >TJE: "It's all going to hell out there" >Tessa straightens her posture before slumping again >TJE: "I was able to activate the old radio in here and every station is saying the same thing" >TJE: "Contact with the outer colonies has been lost, Those Exodus program ships have been ordered to take off regardless of capacity, and every military unit has been activated and ordered by that warmind to prepare for combat." >Tessa begins mouthing something before turning towards the camera (Note: analysis has found that she was mouthing "Did I cause this") >TJE: "I think this is going to be my final words" >Tessa begins wiping off an unknown substance (Note: Oil?) off of her dress >TJE: "So I might as well say my goodbyes." >TJE: "J, I'm sorry I never listened to you. I should've let you destroy Cyn's core the moment she began acting up and getting worse" >TJE: "V, I'm sorry that I didn't help you more when those bastards I call my parents broke your optics" >TJE: "And N. I'm sorry that I have to say goodbye this way but I need you to do something" >Tessa suddenly grabs the camera >TJE: "If you find that bastard Cyn do us all a favor and shoot her in her core if I can't finish the job" >Tessa lets go of the camera and reaches offscreen before revealing a revolver and begins loading it >TJE: "I hope to god I can stop her before she causes the end of the goddamn world" >Tessa finishes loading the revolver and stands up before walking off >(Final Note: Footage ends when the camera is knocked off the object it was on by a blast. Timestamp indicates that this was around the same time the Traveler unleashed the pulse of energy that stopped the Darkness)
>>466782 I do try to make them lore accurate, despite being made for cooming. Let me know what you think once you try it out. If there's anything off about it I'll see what I can do to make it more canon-compliant.
>>466669 >You feel something tugging at your pant sleeve and you look down >It's Mini Y >"What is it, Mini Y?" >She raises her arms and jumps a little >She makes a high pitched sound that is something between "hmph hmph!" and "eep eep!" >It seems she wants up >You pick her up and bring her to eye level >"Yes?" >She circles her arm in a "come closer" gesture >You bring her close to your face >She hugs your cheek and gives it a mini peck >Y comes over and grabs her >"You vill have to excuse her" she calls out behind her back. "She ist too small to contain more than one emotion at a time." >Mini Y glares at Y >"Bitch, did you just called me retarded."
>>466789 Iirc she was forgotten by the show's creators in the database when Cynwalker checked it, with a random unseen Drone assigned her number instead. She also had absolutely zero mention or presence during the flashback. Liam has just been making this all up as he has went along and decided putting a slasher horror hillbilly wendigo girl in the exact same episode as a skinwalker girl is hidden in plain sight the entire time would be cool.
