That subhuman crybaby mod is still going lmao, it's honestly pathetic and they are very clearly targeting Murder Drones since they only went after the actual Loona porn thread when people started insulting him
>>464446 Yeah :( I hate feeling this powerless. It reminds me of how little control I have over some things. But then I feel glad that I'm not that pathetic mod
>>464448 2 sets up the horror tone and creates a lot of mysteries so thats my favorite 3 characterizes V so thats my favorite 4 makes me hard so thats my favorite 5 came out like 3 days after I said "boy it would be nice if Vicker's BLACK DOGS got an animated version, but that will never happen", so thats my favorite 6 is when the plot actually starts moving forward so thats my favorite 7 is the most recent so thats my favorite
>>464448 Immediate answer is 6, I got into Murder Drones while it was the newest we knew and it stayed that way for nearly half a year. Not just that tho, it had a remarkable jump in animation quality (best method to find out is comparing the last shot of 5 and the continuation of it in 6) and really set the tone for the finale. There is more I'm forgetting now as well, but to be honest the main reason is because it introduced Alice. Ranking the rest would be roughly: 7(didn't rewatch since release yet tho)/3/4/5/2/1. I do not dislike any parts to be honest, even the pilot, while having considerable bueno, is a very good animation, great set up and already has incredible music.
I found the show when ep4 aired and was hyper-fixated until ep6 aired I cooled off after that, there were actually quite a few days between ep6 and ep7 when I didn't think about MD once in an entire day And then ep7 airs and I'm hyper-fixated again and then this shit happens
>>464456 i got rangebanned from /co/ just a day or two before the mod announced they would try to stop people from making Murder Drones threads. at first i thought maybe peridotspammer was being a dick and getting others rangebanned (the same thing has happened to people on /vp/ because of voreschizo) but after seeing that mod post i'm convinced the mods just anything Murder Drones related
>>464460 I am sure like 90% of previous threadgoers don't even know about this place, but there are active threads on trash now with lots of posts, I prefer it here however until we can go back. >>464457 Interesting and honestly unique pic, why him? It's a rare choice!
>>464471 I can respect that. I think the wait between episodes made me biased towards the newest ep. >>464472 Same for me, but I hate /trash/ and it carrries a bad reputation. I just feel that we need a "main" place to post rather than going back and forth between here, /co/ and /trash/
>>464468 Not him, but Alice is my favourite And while I do not dislike any character from the show (some are really positive, others have parts I hate but nothing to tip the balance with anybody [which is ultra rare gor any media tbh]), Cynwalker is the one thing that ever conciously scared me. Just ten minutes ago I've been thinking about her, the concept, just how long she wad there in plain sight and how it would look irl. AS in itself get's worse the longer you think about it and imagine it realistically (especially how it looks), but specifically 'Tessa's' presence shutting out any good end for Alice in 6 makes it even worse for me peronally. After all, it was Alice who prevented the pedes from going down, so she unknowingly wad the reason 'Tessa' even came to Copper-9. And while it's unclear wether she knew of Alice, she was definitely there to solve the problem by getting down herself one way or another, in most scenarios Alice would have gotten killed. The only chance for Alice to survive it is by not engaging the protags at all, but it wasn't an option. I guess Alice could have gotten worse, at least she is in pretty good overall condition and avoided Solver damages, but still. Anyways, in the end the concept of an eldritch monsters main host (and thereby itself) hunting down Alice (neither knew directly but most scenarios would have ended with AS killing Alice, wonder it didn't in canon) is the cherry on top of what is in itself already an absolutely evil near invincible monster. Pretty long post, hope didn't repeat/still got the basic point across
Mmmm, so this is where we're regrouping?, It's not so bad. I'm going to be honest, part of the reason I was okay with occasional threads was because often I couldn't keep up with the daily thread's discussion.
>>464448 After Mass Destruction/7 came out, man. It's hard to say. Promening/3 is still a solid fun episode for me but like the other guy said, Heartbeat/2 sets up the horror. Most rewatchable for me, in the sense of my favorites, are Promening and Home, followed by Heartbeat. I'm still trying to process a lot from Mass Destruction.
>>464477 That's uh, a bit of an extreme reaction for Cynwalker, but that's not really saying much seeing how people outside the threads reacted. But yes, you did get your point across. Have an Alice drawn by yours truly to cheer you up.
>>464485 >Chekhov's Jobber She may or may not do something extra to make up for jobbing in the pilot. Especially given the tone of the show amping up, seriously look at the Core Nori/N vs Solver Uzi fight. It was short but a large improvement over the pilot fight. But you can never tell with Liam. Lizzy and Thad might steamroll her for the funnies or J might shine in the fight for a bit before being defeated by something.
>>464481 Thanks for the Alice friend, always like to see that one! About what I wrote, it was kinda exagerated I think cause I realized I needed to mention another point as well mid post so didn't word it right, it isn't THAT bad, just usual AS shenanigans, thinking about how she would look like realistically didn't help either. But that's not the point. What I wanted to express was how 'Tessa's' mission was something always inevitable to occur ever since Alice crossed the Solver's plans, meaning that even with the very helpfull and quite efficient method she adapted, she and by extension the planet and universe(assuming Copper-9 was the last one needed for AS to achieve it's ultimate goal) were only ever able to buy time. Alice's efforts to fight AS, while eventually not futile (since at least N/Uzi/Nori are now fighting against AS again, how they can win is unclear but it's not confirmed over yet), were in the end only ever slowing the Solver's plans, the DD's were the first step, however their failure was expected to a certain degree since their cores after destruction begin matter collection and allow AS direct control via Solverpedes (second step). Achieving such a victory is extremely impressive considering how in zhe end it all boiled down to one single WD surviving the carnage after collapse by sheer luck, and understanding her situation and what's going well enough to act accordingly, but inspite of this incredibly imporobable and even by AS unpredicted success, seemingly leaving AS clueless to the why of it's failure (DD memories/memory synchronisation ended the moment they were flashed, meaning beyond the Sentinels with which pedes should've been able to deal with the true cause of failure remained unknown to AS) and with less and less tools (DDs), making it look (from Alice's view) as if a final victory is achievable and on the line, it all did nothing but slow the Solver, for which waiting is no big thing. That was one hell of a sentence, I shouldn't write these so damn late. Tldr: fake Tessa is especially bad cause she represents, in Alice's case, how the Solver can only ever be slowed down and never stopped, no matter how many losses you cause it (Alice wiped out all DDs/Solverpedes on the planet until the N/V team came) or how unpredictable your actions are (AS didn't know why exactly dead DDs didn't transform), in the end there's always something worsee in store, in that case, literal prime host of the AS herself coming down to Copper-9.
Long messy, tired post, but that's not just what makes AS threatening, but also Alice so admirabke and good, seeing how she did way better than should ever have been possible for her given the situation she was facing and never meant for, she completely improvised and succeeded in destroying the vast majority of AS assets on the planet, thereby nearly wiping out it's conventional plan which it likely effectively applied to every single planet before. AS personally had to get there and deal with it. It was hopeless in the end, but that's just another part of what makes Alice goated. I am dead now, I spent 30 minutes typing that mess, if anyone makes it through and understands it, based

No lollygagging on doorchan while you're on company time anon. I'm waiting for the OST from episode 7 and this may be one of the many times my patience is being tested. The scene where Tessa was checking out the lockers/terminal, Yeva's tetris music, the fight between Core Nori/N and Solver Uzi, as well as in the beginning where Solver Nori was escaping containment. All mega good stuff and I fucking NEED it.
have any drawfags uploaded art of thread OCs to websites outside of 4chan and the booru? i was thinking about making art of one of them but i don't want to post them on my pixiv if people would rather keep the OCs a 4chan only thing. should i just upload to the booru instead whenevr booruanon gets that sorted out?
>>464493 Not a drawfag (or at least a good one) but phoenixanon has uploaded art of Sentinel Drones on his tumblr. Pocketsteaks posts his art on twitter and reddit, but I don’t believe he has ever talked about his OC’s outside these threads. It’s completely up to you to do it since it has attracted relatively small off-site drama, but I don’t see why you can’t. The anonymity is up to you. It would probably get a little awkward if someone asks where the OC’s come from or if one of us recognizes you.
>>464493 Honestly, I only keep some OC's posted only on 4chan because of the tism behind the characters, the only character I posted outside of the boards was femdrone , but that's only because I liked the finished árt pieces I am aware other drawfags have posted their oc's in other social media.
>>464496 kek, thanks I blame my drunktard or sleep-deprived self for my rambles about DD and WD N (I still wish to eat his guts and cuddle with him tenderly)
>>464499 well yeah that's because the solver is the one behind of all this shit. Cyn is just a host, although i guess you could say Cyn is at fault agreeing to the Solver's terms after being revived
>>464500 tbh if I was in a mass grave and a god-like being offered to save me in exchange for taking my body, I would have taken the deal. >>464501 It was a one time thing, she was just being a little silly for the lulz
>>464504 Just find me as @I_Vicious_Fiend on TW After the booru is up, I'll just upload every single drawing i did for the threads that I have saved up (because there are some drawings that I just take screenshots and paste it in the reply post)
>Does nothing to stop the spam in our threads >Does nothing to remove the low-quality OP's >Does nothing to delete the shitty posts and replies >Puts the threads on a hiatus now instead of during the 7 month wait
I'm sorry for bringing this here when it should be a chill thread, but i'm too fucking mad not to talk about it. Why did the fag decide to do it now of all times? Not once did we ever have our daily threads stopped (apart from the small hiccup in November). I could understand if it was 2 months after Episode 8 and there were no news of a season 2, but we are STILL waiting for Episode 8 which at most will come out late August. The threads were going great, it was less than a month since the episode released and the discussion was fresh. Fuck them
>>464518 You want to know why? He probably saw our OBSESSION with Murder Drones as a hindrance to our lifves in general. So by taking that from us, he has enabled us to work on ourselves again. To get our shit together. To make us into better people. At least, that's how I've rationalized this retarded decision to cancel the Murder Drone threads.
>>464523 I Don't want a robot wearing my Aussie wife skin I want to fuck living or undead Tessa and J and also I want hold both of there hands together
>>464524 It's ok anon, but Tessa is doing just fine. If you think about it, you can still hold both of their hands together. Now come on and give her a big hug!
>>464529 It's a conspiracy. People can't have things in common too much. There must be polarization everywhere. Because the 2024 elections are ahead. FUCK THIS
Okay, I've watched the Murder Drones training video today and something crossed my mind. Remember how Uzi broke out of the Solver's possession by sheer force of sperging out after Nori slapped the shit out of her? She was berated for dating 'those things' that killed her mother once. What if, what if J was revealed to have been played around just like the others and realizing that she had been making a mistake, she was able to obliterate the Solver's control over her through sheer force of sperg out and contribute in defeating it in episode 8?
>>464539 Technically to some part I guess. While the tail is the only DD/Solver made part, Alice's overall appearance and especially antics are still wildly different from any other WDs, I guess it wouldn't be very wrong to say she's overall somewhat of her own thing. I don't just mean the look, Antlers, tail, whatnot else, neither only her mannerisms, like the switch between friendly and mercyless (tho that was justified imo) or the laughing, what I mean most is how she crawls climbs and leaps, even other athletic WDs like Doll move more humanlike. Alice meanwhile just does everything the WD body allows, no matter how unhumanlike it is, but that's likely mostly due to her
>>464541 Hit submit to early damn it Being a zombiedrone, which removey any restrictions to their personality. Drones are alive and definitely something you can call a soul after they become zombiedrones, but it still functions (while in the enf not too dissimiliar too humans) very differently considering what the hardware consists of.
Hello Friends. I saw a link so I'm here, so I'm watching both places, nice to see all my Drone loving Friends here! Althoutgh I don't know what place is this.
>>464545 Gald to see you here too bro >Don't know hoe zhis place works No worries, it's barely different, doesn't have (you)s, but beyond that it's better, seemingly no letterlimit and way bigger files allowed.
>>464535 That would be really cool theme wise. The most obedient drone breaking out of the Solver’s grasp to get revenge would give J a chance to break her permanent jobber status. This is without taking into account how the Solver could fuck with her using memories of Tessa’s flaying.
I only found Murder Drones after episode 6 (which in hindsight was apparently THE thing making Nuzi official), so I wanted to ask, what did you think about it before? If you were with Murder Drones from the beginning or earlier then 6, when did you realize Nuzi was a thing? If I am honest it seemed obvious like it's gonna happen in the pilot already, but I had a lil bit of knowledge from lurking in the threads before I first watched. Nonetheless, it did never seem out of the question that they'll get together, hence I've been wondring about the apparent surprise many people had about it 'becoming canon' with 6.
>>464579 >spoiler I'm in the same boat as you in the sense that I lurked Murder Drones threads before watching the show itself, although I watched the series the day before Episode 6 premiered As for your question, during the few weeks in July and Augusr I saw Murder Drones shipping outside /co/, NUzi was WAY more popular than EnVy. Mind you, EnVy was still the second most popular ship and still is, but after the Promening and the figurine trailer with N and Uzi most people agreed NUzi was basically canon.
>>464579 The moment N didn't kill Uzi when he had the chance, was when I first thought about that ship. And then it got solidified when they went to prom together.
>>464579 Been following the show & threads since shortly after Ep 4 came out. Funnily enough the first things about the show I ever saw was people reposting the aerial heart-to-heart clip between N & Uzi, yet even without any context about the show or it's characters I was hooked by how heartfelt that scene was. As for the ship itself I pretty much figured that was gonna be the endgame couple although if I'm being honest the sadist in me was subtly hoping that the attraction would end up one-sided for maximum melodrama
>>464582 pretty much my experience >me, upon first viewing of ep4: damn this is bueno, right, me? >me: uh..... >me: you are cringing right? This is something we bueno at, right? >me: UUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHH................. >me: PLEASE don't tell me you dont have a giant fucking smile on your face >me: hahahahahahaha >me: as long as this isn't a months long hyperfixation >me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
>>464584 NTA I felt bueno during the pilot only I admit, but somehow it was considerably less than on later watches. however it was never really bad, it's just something you stupidly grin at and take it for what it is. Never worried about bueno anymore after first watching the promfight (mind I watched the pilot one night, then had one night break and watched two and three together), it was zhe scene which made me realize I absolutely love this show, it's the best show I have ever seen and that it'll become an obsession.
>>464575 I've only heard terrible things about that board. I'd rather not. Just. Weather this out for some time, try to make a thread on /co/ every now and then and see if it doesn't get deleted. There's really no reason to bring it to anywhere else, it's a 3D animated show.
Image:171366627006.png(952kB, 1360x768)alice watching da horror scene.png
>>464539 Zombie drone, similar to N, V and J as worker drones back at the manor minus the yellow armband because she was an official test subject of the CF Labs. There was an old photo of Nori being interviewed by a human researcher with another drone similar to her smashed into the background. Her ID is in this scene.
>>464591 NTA I love that image, it's new to me that the ID is visible in it. Also Alice's chest and 'collarbones' are very nicely visible during zhat scrne
>>464594 The collarbone being visible 'thing' is now ingrained in me. Curse you Liam... I just hope this is just for drones, it'd be hard if I had to explain to someone how or why I like exposed collarbone. Like, the drone form shows the collarbones rather nicely since the neck of their clothes usually drop below them, enough to show a section of their LED chestplate at times. The pic of her snacking on batteries also has them nicely lit. Could be the ridges just make it more visually interesting to light because a flat surface would seem rather boring.
>>464592 >spoiler Sure. I won't lie, I feel really demotivated after we got /trashed/ and slowed down on writing the Drag Queen green. I still love her and all that, but being "forbidden" from /co/ sucks If you're curious about how the green will go after the first part, it's: Anon tells her about the Story Hour, goes to sleep and wakes up handcuffed in Alice's truck with Beau. Alice takes (you) to a cabin in rural Tennessee to live happily ever after >Picrel even though they're already married
>>464586 Lainey seems the most tolerable for me. Depends on her prankster personality, I'm good if the pranks are harmless. She could be tomboy-ish too. Angela's an obsessed the Office fan which I haven't really seen, Kenzie seems too fixated talking about how intact she is. Likely a side effect of watching too many human horror movies? Dillan's the interesting one to think about, maybe she was a bit of a highschool bully or committed property vandal.
>>464601 >Dillan's the interesting one Her description + being the tallest one at 5'2 makes me think she was the biggest bully in school. I feel like she could have been one of Uzi's major antagonists if Liam decided to stick the story closer outpost-3 That begs the question, would she have struggled during the kidnapping more compared to her peers? She doesn't seem like the type to go down without a fight. Would she fight? Kick? Bite? Scream and struggle when you forcefully inserted a USB drive to reprogram her into being more submissive? Maybe fragments of her original personality would show up every once in a while afterwards, a small memory of who she was before her OS was violated by (you)
>>464597 Cute!!! Honestly I've always headcanon'd that alcohol can't actually get a drone "drunk" unless they're consuming it either 'pure' (Ethanol, Diesel, ect) or mixed with other exotic chemicals. Basically it would mean that human alcoholic drinks wouldn't do practically anything to a drone, whereas drone alcoholic drinks would ABSOLUTELY be fatal for a human to drink
>>464604 I just really like how the guy in the ad goes CERVEZAAA CRISTAAAAL and thinking about Beretta and SD-CH sharing a moment doing exactly that made me smile. Your ideas are fun too, the teacher was shown to drink from a flask so it's possible they tried to adapt human drinking culture.
>>464579 I became a turboautist after the first episode and, after not giving one shit about shipping at first, ended up shipping them after some rewatches. >Uzi: Sneaking out to make out with my boyfriend that I definitely have? [Uzi would later return with N] And then later >N: I really enjoyed our time together [to Uzi] BOTH of these lines happening in front of Khan. The poor fucker probably suspects them to be dating as far back as that first episode. Also pic related. It was a promo image Liam drew for the first season when it was originally announced. >I <3 N It was pretty obvious how the the romance angle of the show would go from the very beginning. Thad and Uzi didn't seem very invested in each other and V was pretty cold to N. It was just a natural fit for Uzi and N to get feelings for each other.
>>464607 Nice to see this, I assume it's Y's full team? Man, the difference between this place and /co/ takes getting used to, 8MB JPG and 12MB PNG files being allowed made me raise my eyebrow lol
>>464607 >SD-CH sharing both a tender moment & "Classic Earth Culture" with Beretta >Beretta is just happy to at last sample THE Official drink of Star Wars or at least that's how she interpreted those 1000+ years old clips Jane shared with her
>>464613 >>464614 >JCJ approved weed KEK. Man, flew over my head that it's 4/20. Now it's noon over here. That does remind of the VA's video where it had this small Cyn doodle. Cyn's Voice [Murder Drones]
>>464619 Depends if the mod is still monitoring. Surely he's not no lifing Murder Drones deletion, especially since the show's not over and we have one episode left.
>>464623 It is what it is. I agree with the anon above you though, whatever he's doing, I'll brush it off. Some are using trash while some are being here, I'll check in both as long as the show hasn't ended. Ain't no way I'm reaching out to the communities on twitter or tumblr though, they seem like such boring buzzkills. That or they just can't piece together stuff the way anons have been able to. Their OCs, while there's few that caught my eyes, tend to not really click with me.
Some warmup with the Animatez figurine style again. Wanted to post this in the /co/ thread but had to wait out a thunderstorm and before I know it, it got deleted. >>464626 Nice, keep it up anon.
>>464628 there's not much more to explain, it was one of those dream moments where you just know what is happening, but not how it relates to what you are seeing. also i don't really remember it that will. i can tell you that it also had a moment where N and Uzi realize they will never be able to have kids.
>>464624 haven't used either site a whole lot but from what I've seen they don't seem great for actual discussion. Seem alright for just sharing drawings though
>>464629 Couple of fixes to Lily's injured leg and Harper's coat looking a little bleh to me. Idk if the drawfags/writefags ever made it here but I hope they're not too bummed over what's been happening. >>464631 The next dream you have will feature Beretta kicking your old dream's ass. She did not go through Vickers University to be deemed non-existent. (I jest)
>>464612 (me) >>464597 Okay, I didn't want to say this Friend, because it sounds a little mean. If I get this correctly, I think instead of SD-CH saying "Ya'po" she tried to say "Si po' ". Also, if someone wants to know a little about Chilean culture the "po' " doesn't mean anything, is a little thing some people add while talking, to emphasize something, like, instead of saying "Yeah" some say "Yeah dude" kinda the same thing. Love you Friend!
so what's this altchan about? seems a bit dead to me and I just don't see why we need to migrate and separate content in three different websites, this is just killing the threads. its been two days and it's not so bad that we've been forced to trash now, can we please just stop splintering all over the place and stick to one website. jannies kicking us off /co/ is not the end of the fucking world
>>464643 /trash/ is trash and the other altchan is a thinly veiled attempt to migrate to discord. As far as I am concerned this is the best choice out of the three
I'm still not sure how the hell did we get /trash/ed, all I've gathered from the tread on /trash/ is that someone made a falseflag thread on that board and mods used it as justification? This shit seems very retarded
Image:171372192717.png(161kB, 1464x984)work in progress thing.png
By the way, anons, what is your favorite Vickers stuff other than Murder Drones? I personally like Cube and am still on copium that one day we might see more.
>>464656 ep5 is from N's perspective. He goes to Uzi's room She starts playing the tape <episode start> tape plays, explains zombie drones birdcage-solver kicks in, creates mansion dream-zone
>>464654 it's kind of bothering me if i'll be honest. i only came around to /co/ in july because of murder drones and only for murder drones so i didn't know about this place existed and now the whiplast from our annuda shoah has just left me in a bad mood and this splintering is not helping
>>464649 i heard somebody got banned in a drawthread for requesting murder drones i think this mod is trying to eradicate anything murder drones related from /co/ regardless of whether he has a good reason or not
>>464659 If I have to assume from what I gathered from the /trash/ threads, someone on /co/ made a MD threat with the title Murder Drones General which threw mods in a shitfit
>>464651 Personally I was an Internecion Cube fag first and foremost, then I circled around back to watch Cliffside and listen to Design and Yellow Halogen. Since I got a 3 day vacation right before mods impious violation of Cyns chosen people I've been considering getting back to writing/illustrating stuff for a Cube-based story. >>464664 An exercise in time wasting, at least IMO, mods will always forever be shitheads and they have very little to no accountability.
>>464670 I’m thinking of sending an email to Nishimuta, although i’m quite worried about using my real email. What are the chances he actually takes a look at what I send him? What should I even write.
>>464660 If the mods dislike something, they will do everything they can to eradicate all mention of it from the board. Back when tournaments got axed, you couldn't even mention them without the discussion getting nuked as soon as it got noticed. Certain comics/cartoons cannot be mentioned either because they get nuked on sight (Sinfest, Preteena). This has been happening for a long time now and you guys are not even the first person to come to plus4chan for this reason.
>>464664 There used to be a link where you could see feedback responses, but it stopped updating completely when Hiro got the site and eventually the link got removed.
One thing I've noticed about some of the writefags/drawfags is that why do some writefags/drawfags get almost all of the attention, like the BHL-anon and pocketstreaks, while others barely get a mention at all, one example comes to mind is switchanon who's been around the threads since september
>>464686 >switchanon has been here since september He has? I have no memory of him. Also it’s because drawfags like pocketsteaks spend ungodly amounts of time in the threads, and now that I think about it he hasn’t appeared since we got /trashed/
>>464690 He's SS13/MDanon, the one writing that Space Station 13/ Murder Drones fanfic along with a bunch of other greens but only the two I remember are the Feral Uzi getting cuddles green and the Male!Cyn psychic homosexual energy green.
>>464701 To be honest I barely know how /trash/ works I'm going to be here a while until another thread is made, because I will NOT use that falseflag faggot's thread
What's the bump limit for this site? Also, what the fuck is up with these weird altchans that people are dividing into? Like this site I get, but shit like 420chan which I don't even know how to access? These dumbafucks are killing us by spreading us thin
>>464709 This and the actual trash thread seem to be the only real ones of worth. Other one is apparently made by a tripfag shilling his discord, and the trash “””””general”””” is falseflagging bait.
>>464709 >What's the bump limit for this site? it's 1000 on /tnt/ but i don't know if it's different here this board is slow as fuck though so even after we hit bump limit it'll take a while to drop off page one even
>>464715 I don't wish him anything horrible. I however wish him many thousands of lesser annoyances.
>May his internet connection stop working when he's about to order food. >May the Amazon guy get the wrong adress when he is ordering a new mouse. >May the same insurance company call him 3 times for a survey. >May he forget to take out a new toilet paper from the box, and only realize after he is done so he has to walk through the house like that to get toilet paper.
Alright keeping up with developments, I'm assuming that I should be watching, the real /trash/ thread, anyone with a brain could figure that the """general"" is a gayop, and I should be watching only this site's thread as well. Hopefully these 2 comprise 50-50 of the actual Anons that were present
>>464717 >>May he forget to take out a new toilet paper from the box, and only realize after he is done so he has to walk through the house like that to get toilet paper Wow, calm down satan
>>464718 I think some of them may have left though after the unjustified ban, so I would assume that we only have 73% of the original Anons left and split into each of these. God I hate sounding like a doomer
Alright, discussion time. I don't remember where we left off so I'll repost the thread OP I had.
>In episode 8 during the flashback to the invasion of Earth, N is shown holding the corpse of a man in a tophat. This either means two things, one somehow James or one of the guest like Lord Frumptlebucket managed to escape the Gala Massacre OR two, Earth for some odd reason has taken up interest in 1800's fashion an attire which possibly shows the idea of a Earth having some strange alternate history
>>464722 >Honestly I think the more interesting idea is that the Earth of Murder Drones takes place on a strange alternate history Earth. I don't remember if the date for the creation of the Worker Drones was ever revealed so feel free to correct me, but is it entirely possible that JCJenson might have somehow pioneered AI technology as far back as the 1800s? Through some strange deal with The Solver?
Okay, that's enough discussion about moving here, back to posting drones. Do you think Worker drones are Spaceship friendly?, like sending them out the ship with magnetic boots to repair the damage from asteroids and debris? There probably also had to be retail job worker drones, they seem smart enough to bring my two number 4's, large soda and onion rings. mmmm, worker drone maid cafe.... We even have the most common maid archetypes >imouto >tsundere >genki >yandere(basically all vickers girls, kek) >serious business >kuudere/introverted >otoko-no-ko
>>464725 I trust drones enough to make them work but I wouldn't trust them to work alone, errors and bugs can still happen and someone needs to repair them to make them work.
>>464721 I mean yeah, but define off topic. Obviously the shit some people do in /CO/ (create a pocahontas/other disney thread only to halfway start talking about raping indigenous children) counts as that, but for others even OC posting would be off topic. I feel like people would be really intellectually disingenuous about it.
>>464709 300 if I remember right, 400 on /baw/, 500 on /coc/ and 1000 on /tnt/.
>>464709 >>464710 >>464712 420chan used to be one of the oldest altchans and had a lot of history, it hosted mostly drug related boards and had its own board-tan (tcc-tan). But the owner had his servers seized a few years back and sold the domain to some guy who is now holding it hostage and redirecting it to leftypol. It sucks because it used to be pretty good and had its own completely unique engine and stylesheet. The owner shows up on /g/ a few weeks ago.
>>464725 I feel that, deep down, the drones in Copper-9 yearn to work for humans again. There’s nothing wrong with it, they’re just programmed to be that way. Most of them would be regular worker drones in the mines, but it would be funny if someone like Lizzy worked at Burger King while having to act nice around the human customers
>>464732 >Oh hi, are you an actual dev here? Gee, what was your first clue?
>Is migrating here from 4chan fine with you? plus4chan is and always was the official /co/ bunker, you are not the first nor, I suspect, will be the last to come here. As long as the site can be kept running technologically and financially, you will be welcome.
Also regarding bump limits, current etiquette is to only make a new thread once the ongoing one falls off of page one. I really should make a FAQ at some point.
>>464735 2007 if you count the read-only archives from older board engines.
I know we're in a bad spot, but can we go back to talking about Drones for a little bit? Like this Russian cutie right here. That dress she's wearing is very pretty.
>>464746 >Was her oil-line just particularly delicious Only the finest Soviet oil extracted from the Ural mountains. It's the equivalent of drinking the most expensive wine in a Gentleman's club. Uzi's oil is like bud light
>>464748 HOW THE FUCK? We analyzed the shit out of the episode yet nobody caught that up until now? This is the same as that anon who caught Tessa almost doing the AS symbol and hunchbacking like Cyn
>>464595 >now ingrained in me Same, I appreciated it subconciously before, but now? Absolutely toptier. It also works so very well on drones, the pics of Alice are a really good showcase of that, especially with the lighting in her room. Especially outstanding considering I'd find it quite difficult imagining a 'robot' design from scratch makin good use of collarbones/ showing them as more than rods/less than retextured humans, however WDs with their (from above near halfround fronts) nice round, smooth chest make it work so damn well. Major reason for why they (on model WDs) unironically became attractive. >>464596 Sweet pic, don't see it reposted too often but it's very nice everytime. That drawfag makes very nice Alices, even some I unintentionally inspired. Honestly I felt the same initially, but seeing how it all adapted quickly it's no big problem anymore. Also feel as if that burnt out feeling has gone away for good now, I'll try drawing something new again tonight rather than only struggling with difficult already started drawings anymore. >Spoiler Sounds very good, can't wait to see how it'll turn out! Really glad to see you are still working on it, Alice greens are always needed! Already liked the first part at that, good luck with getting the rest done, from what I've seen now it'll be very nice
>>464760 Of course not, i'm just here to talk about drones >>464759 Nice to see you woke up. Thanks for the support, it will get posted (eventually) but right now let's talk about the one, the true, the only best redneck girl

>>464748 >>464752 >>464755 >>464762 >>464763 >we Again speak for yourselves. Note that Cyn, as in the Drone, being the one in the astronaut suit with the sun smiley face sticker and the rainbow cloud sticker being foreshadowed by a similar effect blocking out one of the three prongs of the Solver symbol implies that the Drone is in fact an actual character independent from Mother, and that she has far more agency than a section of the fanbase chooses to believe. >Cyn is Jesus if the resurrection isn't literal

>>464764 The reflection in the visor of pic related is also clearly Cyn dressed as Tessa with tentacles coming out of her, with an optical illusion of light shining off the top of the helmet giving the appearance of a monster with glowing eyes.
>>464764 Did we ever find out what the reflection of her hekmet on the top right was? I remember Anons thinking it was some gangly, horrifying creature that would be introduced in Episode 7. >>464766 Wrote the response up top before seeing this. Makes sense
>>464761 Honestly I never felt that Alice was particularly 'villainous' in the sense of being evil, even on my first watch and before I saw that Uzi bit her first. Same with the first read of the Emilyanon Alicegreen (which made me fall for Alice). After it I noticed how that story had something I always desperately wanted to see anyhwere, but never happened before, I cannot pinpoint it rn but it felt very right and satisfying, probably has to do with a character who's supposed to be presented as one dimensional and plain evil (tho we know that's not the case), but still very charming NOT getting killed off for once (was technically fanfiction but I never read any before, so still as effective). That's likely close to what I meant, not sure why but until the last line said END I believed Alice wouldn't make it, not to mention get some sort of 'redemption' in it, I just know it felt soo relieving back then, good chance this effect was crucial to getting such a strong like for Alice. In that moment I wouldn't have minded changing with the you character, even thought I could easily take what she did (maybe bad idea considering he almost died at the end) Tbh I'm kinda distracted while writing this cause I'm gaming rn, so sorry for the sorta blogposty content yet. Otherwise I'd say Alice's appeal isn't just her mannersims, appearance and character, I think she is also ethically relatable, I'd even say looking at her actions that she did nothing at all wrong. Know what, I'll post something better later
>>464768 >>464770 >I think she is also ethically relatable. In a weird sense, yes. What she did to the Drone cores was justified to prevent the Solver from regenerating them. On the other hand, from a viewer perspective we know that she was wrong in trying to do the same to Uzi, V and N. She also seemed to enjoy torturing Uzi as a way to get payback for Nori's abuse. I just wish she could have had the chance to reunite with Nori in Episode 7. I'm sure it would have led to some interesting dialogue.
>>464456 There is no way in hell RapeApe or ABIB will get rid of the faggot killing Murder Drones threads. Same shit happened with them nuking the Unofficial Sonic Ride because Pixy (the /sthg/ fag who always spams Archie/IDW Sonic threads and Sonic threads in general) got mad and every appeal fell through because the other mods literally didn't care and were defending his behavior.
The 4chan mods relish the site being made into a worse and worse place.
>>464727 You dictate on a case-by-case basis. If someone starts using normal media discussion to rave about jewish conspiracies or "muh trannies", then an instant permaban without warning. If they start whinging about harmless good-natured OC, then the exact same.
The anti-OCfags are always the most insidious funposters and invariably become the former category once they get what they want. Give them an inch and they will destroy once good thread topics in their entirety.
>>464775 It's a random drone made by ITanon that he drew for this pic. I have to admit that she looks very cute and it's a shame he never gave her a name
>>464780 Dronetism' strikes once again with an anon wanting to give a nameless OC an entire backstory. But go ahead, it's what makes the threads run. I would just try to ask ITanon to give his thoughts on his "character"
>>464782 It's ultimately up to ItAnon, I most likely won't since I don't have the time and I'm still burnout from writing for soley one OC. But I would genuinely love to see this cute Nurse Drone expanded upon
>>464786 You see a strange subgroup in the Hazbin/Helluva trash threads has a discord where they conducted raids and spam on the Murder Drones /co/ threads because they pissed themselves over a fan animation where their Helluvaboss guys got their asses kicked by the Murder Drones cast. They refer to themselves as "soldats" with this queer military larp thingy
>>464788 I was gonna call you a fag but now that I take a second look at it, you're kind of right. I'm no artist but the lighting is way better than the anatomy which is still pretty good. You're still a fag btw.
>>464772 It's not apologetic if she did nothing wrong in the first place! >>464771 Yes, she was right about the core, no question. I'd agree with you on the second part as well, however one can't understate the significance of viewer perspective in that one in order for it to be truthfull. We knew N and V were no longer doing the Solver's bidding, neither was Uzi, however Alice had no and couldn't have had any knowledge of them having different intentions than previous squads. I guess Uzi's presence may have been an indicator (and it did show Alice was very interested in Uzi), however no justification to drop her guard with the knowledge she had about their capabilities. Howrver I do not see the decisive fault meaning I don't see any at all for things going south with Alice. V was awake for who knows how long already and she was very relaxed, except when Uzi got possesed, it didn't look like she tried to tell Alice anything. Alice was evidently open to conversation at the start as shown by her short exchange with Uzi, a DD talking about wanting to fight AS would've surely been of interest to her (Alice has vague knowledge of AS), considering DDs before didn't know anything of their true mission, not to mention all of them being in no state to talk long before Alice got to them. Uzi talked with Alice which is what I base my assumptions of Alice being reasonable/friendly enough to her captives before it happened. Uzi apparently thought Alice wasn't right in the head the way she acted towards her, her mimics and trying to use AS to do whatever. It even led to Uzi making zhe worst mistake of the show and bitting Alice finger off, WHILE she HAD HER BACK TURNED, AFTER she found out UZI WAS NORI'S and to top it all off, laughed at Alice who understandably didn't take zhat gremlin's shit anymore after that. I am 100% on Alice's side with what she did to the captives, she was far too good to them (considering their behaviour in that isolated case, not V/Uzi in the show as a whole) which Uzi paid back by literally backstabbing her for no Goddamn reason. Uzi fucking deserved having her finger cut off for that sort of behaviour, getting her hand stabbed clean through was the cherry on top. Nori having been an ass to Alice/seen as an ass by Alice did, while likely being another motivation for Alice's decision, not cause Uzi any harm directly, Uzi brought in onto herself and she fucking deserved it. Agree with the third paragraph, as we saw Nori was apparently not that bad when she was herself(or after she got patched), it would've been very interesting seeing both side's reaction. Part of me is hoping (not really expecting tho tbh) Alice having some role in 8, other than being used by the cores, in which case I'd prefer not seeing her again at all. Unrealistically good ending still has a chance, right?
>>464787 I know this is a joke but the autism in my body is raging at the fact that you made a Worker Drone despite them having a Serial Designation which implies they're a Disassembly Drone
>>464794 Anon i'm going to be honest. Your autism scares me. I drew this in 2 minutes off the top of my head, remembered the chest symbol in the middle and then made them blue since Sentinel Drones are usually that color.
>>464799 >>464800 >>464799 PhoenixAnon is trying to juggle a huge amount of shit right now, between being a hackfraud artist, hackfraud writer, and having a real job that's looking to take a whole day of his freetime more than previously. He may or may not also be working on some Internecion Cube autism, figuring out how to make his own drone plush, AND potentially starting to write again in relation to that Cube autism (this is impossible, PhoenixAnon writing again would violate several physical laws) If there's something specific that Anons want him to write or draw, he may rear his unholy visage in the /trash/ thread though, albeit probably rarely.
>>464806 (me) Meant to put " "Hackfraud" ", but oh well. >>464804 If you want ideas, draw some OCs, I would say mine but I dislike doing self-shills. Nice drawing by the way.
>>464806 Technically functional, shortened weekend left me with much less time to write or draw than I had wanted, hopefully I won't get fucked over two times in a row at least.
>>464807 I have absolutely no problem with people shilling their OCs to be drawn, I have done it to other much better artists several times myself. If someone else has already drawn them post the drawing for reference and I'll try to redraw it in my own style as soon as is reasonable given my extremely limited free time. If you don't have an existing picture just describe them and I'll work from there like I did for RoadTrip Anon when I drew Harper for him. >>464808 Thanks buddy! I had planned to but that was one thing I had been planning to do Friday, so like everything else I wanted to do that day it got shunted to next weekend by work. I will try to remind myself to do so next weekend, it needs a major renovation anyways. >>464810 For what it's worth https://www.tumblr.com/armitage-076 (it's worth nothing, like everything I do, in fact it's a net detriment to the cognitive health of anyone who views it) >>464813 SmileAnon my beloved, glad to see you again.
>>464815 (me) >>464814 Well that is good timing. >no problem with people shilling their OCs to be drawn Alright, here goes nothing, SD-CH, it's my main one, and the only one that has been drawn before, and I have written her more than my others OCs by far. I have more, like SD-LL which has a different design than a average DD but I think it would be more difficult to draw compared to a normal DD. >SmileAnon my beloved, glad to see you again. Glad to see you too Friend! It's always nice to see a Friend.
>>464776 >The anti-OCfags are always the most insidious funposters and invariably become the former category once they get what they want.
Which is ironic given that the only time /co/ was chock full with great artists was when we kept discussing OCs every day, such as having Doom marry Azula and have a daughter, or how /Co/lette reacts to the New 52 from DC comics.
>>464819 I only started using /co/ for Murder Drones. Qrd on the most popular /co/mic OC’s? I saw a thread a couple of weeks ago about “fake” heroes from the 80’s and it was great

Never forget: Doll was unreasonable and suffered a karmic death for refusing to work with mass murdering cannibalistic fallen angels dressed in Hugo Boss, but it's okay for Uzi to provoke the Appalachian crazed survivalist with baggage instead of even trying to reason with her against the greater threat. There were no rewrites. Liam did not make it all up as he went along. Alice was not a last minute addition to episode 6 made purely because Liam thought it would be cool and then immediately forgotten.
>Drawfags and other anons going to the gay discord altchan >One anon trying to pick a fight with the Helluvaboss thread on trash I love you folks but stop being retarded
>>464825 I'm not even an Alicebro. Nori was explicitly depicted as the only Solver host that was completely calm and at ease with it for no reason, she's just that calm, except for when she pumps out drawings and screams about sky demons and demands that her husband builds bunker doors to keep Cyn's angels out, and acts like a gremliny sperg for the sake of jokes if the plot demands it. Yeva stopped associating with Nori after the core collapse for no reason. There were no rewrites. None.
