I have to imagine that it's been discussed or even not implemented for a reason, right? The idea of adding oekaki functionality to a select number of boards here on plus4chan Obviously you could just upload images, and anyone with a tablet in the modern day will have a large art program they use. But with built-in drawing you could just scribble something out and post it without having to bother with saving and then finding the file and then hassling if something goes wrong etc. I dunno, weird dream.
>>437524 We had one but it used Java, I quietly removed it during the initial rewrite to get the site functional again. It has been on my todo list to reimplement ever since, but it wasn't a priority because nobody ever asked.
>>437525 I actually don't know what's even out there anymore. When the one in my screenshot hit the scene I thought it was the most revolutionary thing ever. That's the most recent thing that I know of for sure. So I don't really have any recommendation, but I know it shouldn't be java-based since there's so much new tech out there that's way better.
