>WHAT IS IT? A mass collaborative project for /uh/ posters to make a unfiction channel. >HOW DOES IT WORK? Send a video to the above email and it should be reviewed within 2 days. Once approved, it will be uploaded to the channel. >RULES 1. No gore, slurs, porn, shit that will get the channel/video taken down immediately. 2. Try to keep submitted videos between a minute to thirty minutes. 3. You can reference other projects, but try to be original
>>433719 First time I'm hearing about this I think, and gotta say, this looks interesting. Really high-effort too, love the art. Is there something I should watch/read first if I wanna "get started" or do I simply browse the website?
>>433739 Its always best to browse the site at first and find things for yourself, there are some things that were only up for certain periods of time but those are detailed with this synopsis. https://welcometowelcomehome.neocities.org/story/prologue-synopsis
>>433743 Should clarify its a fan synopsis so mind the interpretations it draws but apart from some small details its good for a refresher on the sites previous incarnations.
>>433774 >Guy behind the Rentry may not even be here to take recommendations >Guy behind the dropbox may not be here to take up any OC Man I hope they see the archive.
>>433872 Couldn't find anything new in the compilation but with the last video in mind, watching the tapes back to back it does appear that it was Lawrence Mr. Simon that was in the house to be sacrificed (both sounding somewhat similar), before Peter got in the way and got sacrificed himself. They're names being so close together on the board cannot be a coincidence.
>>434055 Too big brained for me personally, though i can still appreciate the effort it takes to make scientific journals on your own fuck up worlds physics and laws.
>>434144 Not much incentive to get one apart from that unreleased video with if what he said is true isnt up to par with the rest of the channels stuff.

accidentally posted this on the wrong thread oops just wanted to say that this is awesome >>433717 and that i'd like there to be a sequel where any one of the girls is masturbating while still in the theatre
>>434250 Looking back on it perhaps the line to make everyone freak out should've come from Kanes Backrooms series, perhaps >>434171 considering its actually getting a movie.
>>434231 >>434234 >an easier deciphering key Keep in mind this isn't entirely foolproof, there's nothing stopping anybody from making any letter they want going above 3 branches in the underside indicating what rotation is needed. But for most this should be sufficient.
>>434318 >The guy behind Hollow Birds and the Ted the Caver adaptation is African. Also missed the two-faced dino hybrid look thanks to all the compression, FUCK.
>>434375 >>434377 Given Home was directly present in that one call Wally has with us this update and said call had Wall acting heavily OOC and constantly mentioning Home practically every third line when his voice isn't distorting, I dont think its influence over him has diminished much at all.
>>434408 Yesssss. Though, we’re kind of stuck at the moment. It’s obvious we have to plug something into the url, but so far all we’ve gotten were numbers and a few phrases iirc. It’s also Japanese so translating isn’t exactly the best unless one knows the language.
>>434416 I'm not sure if anyone shares this sentiment, but I'm scared that I won't get to see the weekly dandadan threads anymore. I was enjoying all of the theories and knowledge /a/nons had on the new youkai... and yeah, I recognize you lacey games and I can't sleep posters from /co/, glad to see all of you.
>>434415 I still believe we're over thinking the current part, previous sections were just fucking around with the site, looking at metadata and a magic eye image. Its ARG 101 and we are even told to find a location.
>>434418 I definitely feel you. Those threads, even if they've been swarmed with NTR shitposters for a while now, still had some really great posts in them.
>>434484 She wasn't actually /v/ for a while, its web animation pretending to be a flash game or does ReBoot belong more on /g/ because its a cartoon that takes place in a computer?
>>434463 >Walten isn't the most appealing art style. That was purposeful, I assume. Martin stated before that he didn’t really want people to draw nsfw of his characters, but as if that stops anyone. I have never seen his art outside of his series (not counting his Halloween specials) so I cannot fairly say if his style is naturally repugnant. Personally, I think it looks cool and I like their jagged movements.
>>434513 Eh? They had a website we could visit but nothing was on there for the longest. We were supposed to pretend and suspend belief that Lacey Games existed (before the actual games were made).
>>434535 4:08 >gypsum quarry office Gypsum is a rather mundane material mainly used for construction, Gypsum board or drywall and Gypsum blocks. Could be related to either the artifice of the world B0sch is in or its flimsiness as the material cannot be load bearing.
>>434535 10:25 >Acrylonitrile Flammable liquid used in plastic production. Seen to massively drop the intelligence of the player when moused over which fits with its toxicity. Between this and the Gypsum there's a theme of poor production materials going on.

Off-topic post, but how long do you guys think 4chan will stay down? Might have to consider moving here full-time if it doesn't come back anytime soon.
>>434551 Seeing the source code and how much was exposed, (going right down to the shell credentials of the server now being known) it will take several weeks to months till its back up.
>>434552 Given how stupid fucking lazy the developers are to not update anything for 10 years, do you think they'll do a through update? No, they'll just patch the code to run on a modern server, change all janitor passwords, and call it a day.
>>434553 And by doing that it will immediately get hacked again, the severs root administrative controls were exposed this isn't something they can just brush under the rug. This requires a total reformat to even slightly fix, this is going to force them to do some actual work for once in their life.
>>434555 Patching it to work with modern PHP is specifically so it can run on a new server. They are not going to reprogram the entire source code in a week.
>>434561 That’s a bit tricky. Obviously, they would have their glaring issues: mental illnesses out the wazoo, doubt in parenting their first child, possible PP, and having to relearn how to treat a child. Both would want their child to have a better/normal childhood compared to theirs. With Nia having Dolly, I could see her being more naturally nuturing without thinking about it. Nia would do the opposite of everything her mother did (though she may have adopted some of her mother’s less heinous traits. They are still toxic, but Nia doesn’t recognize it as queer). I don’t know if Lacey has any siblings or if she would be the oldest, but I fell as if she would isolate herself from her kid in the initial months and slowly forming a strong bond. She pretty much had trust issues with people (mainly men) her whole life, so her emotional intelligence is probably pretty dull as she ages and becomes jaded. I think she would also be a great mom, but her downfall would be her depressive episodes that forces her to close herself off from the rest of the world. She would also accidentally hurt the baby because she’s so busy juggling everything.
>>434700 Here is just where things naturally gravitated to with a few ref/uh/gees finding others in the 4chan kill thread. And if it’s any consolation the red alert theme is only temporary.
La-la-la-lava, ch-ch-ch-chicken Lacey's Lava Chicken, yeah, it's tasty as hell Ooh, mamacita, now you're ringin' the bell Crispy and juicy, now you're havin' a snack Ooh, super spicy, it's a lava attack

>>434781 >Subject 17 >We also added more movements in the waist and neck for easier appeal when doing basic "tasks" Oh for fuck sake, the sexbot thing was suppose to be a joke and now its canon.
>>434782 A bunch of Welcome Home characters are either trans, gay/lesbian, or nonbinary. If we're counting villains, there's a bunch. Penpal's stalker stalked two boys because he "loved" them. HABIT was Albert Fish. Tommy Taffy made out with a young boy.

>>435000 Could say I called it but having a 1/2 in the description is barley a clue and more an outright statement there will be another video soon.
So instead I'll put my theory out on what the title means being "Catalexis" which is a incomplete verse. Giving its used for a sense of tension or anticipation and this is the only video with a trailer that I know of I believe my interpretation is correct.
>>435006 The most fitting thing I could show is just some dark ambient stuff. This one is kinda old, but it's a cover of the intro to a song I really like, that being Katatonia's Endtime https://files.catbox.moe/htpluh.mp3
>>435007 I plan to, but I have other priorities beforehand and I have no idea what you guys would like to see. I know we were suggesting a redraw of >>434942 and debating who to put in there. I wasn’t sure if we finalized who to add and if someone was already drawing it.

>>435081 Probably because half of those never happened. I'm sure East Patch got its fair share of weird requests thanks to /holy/s existence, and ICS is no stranger to the normie fanbase thinking the videos are a real cry for help. I had a dream where my family attended a church service in some weird state and the service included a musical number where Lacey was crucified by Sarah Henderson. Angel Zaggy then came out and started singing some Imagine Dragons song. Also Sarah Henderson and Sophie Walten were there.
>>435168 It was never in question of IF it will come back but WHEN, given how quickly they got the site to give a message compared with the damage done my best guess is that they've abandoned Yotsuba for something that is more up to date, and not held together with hopes and dreams. Though that's only if it really is "see you soon". Talk is cheap after-all and its gonna take more than a new index.html to convince me.
On-topic unfiction tiddy OC to compensate for my rambling.
Tried to run This place is no fun When will it be done? Lacey's scary Run from Nia barely Save their souls? Trust me, I've tried Angel Gabby? Oh God, get ready!
>>435168 >>435182 should we be getting prepared for making the return back to /trash/ then, whenever the site gets back up? also fantastic collection of tits there
>>435185 If the site does come back soon I honestly do not trust it to not get hacked even harder, having the shell and source code exposed is no joke and that takes time to really sort out. Realistically in that time they probably just patched the pdf vulnerability leaving the countless other security flaws opened and however many more with the time people had to look over the source. I wouldn’t use it myself until a good week after to know everything is secure.
>>435186 Agreed, 4chan likely needs an entire overhaul. If they're pushing the site out this quick it's likely a rush job (which honestly can't be blamed because the longer 4chan stays down the worse it will be for 4chan). Even after they bring the site back online they genuinely need to be working on updating the source code and be transparent about it (probably just recreate the site since if they havent really updated it in 10 years it's probably spaghetti code at this point). If they don't they will only leave themselves more vulnerable to being hacked again, in which people will actually start to leave

>>435198 it's a relatively "short" series based around weird ms paint horses bouncing around in an ms paint maze with a carrot at one end of the maze, whoever gets the carrots wins the race that in of itself was the premise until some weird things started to happen, focused on the two perennial losers White and Cyan an early example of it https://x.com/snakesandrews/status/1908942786549998058?t=Crs6tLZ0SP3qR0Ckzrke2A&s=19

>>435276 I mean I think a link to here would be fine for the OP, it isn’t super big anyways. I’m sure most people will be posting on /trash/ again. But it’s good to know where to go if 4chan goes down again.

>>435429 That's to be expected when something doesn't update in a while, there will be a small spike in OC from other drawfags when it eventually does and we have more story and material to work off from.
>>435430 Yeah, I understand. It also doesn't help that we barely moved in the story-—even with all the videos. I'm still waiting for a good ref for Beetle. I can wait, though. >>434408 >>434415 >>434416 Some anon was focusing on this during the downtime and found the last code led to an art gallery in japan that had a sneak peak at Volume 19.
Alright, anyways I came here because I wanted to use this place as a sort of hub for brainstorming ideas about Eevilium, an unfiction game I dreamt about literally one time but now I'm kinda obsessed over. I'll most likely never make it as I'm already preoccupied with my own unfiction stuff and the thought of programming spooks me but I'd still like to know what this hypothetical lost gaming webseries could be, and who knows? Maybe one day someone who's more competent than me will see this stuff and actually make it a reality.
>>435607 Yeah i was kinda thinking that one to. I'm just not sure howto feel about it because it's technically a microsoft negrotech ai ripoff version of the petscop guardian. But hey i guess tony is a hack too so it wouldn't be so bad.
Next question. What would the game start like? I was personally thinking the first level would pressnt itself as a generic super mario-asc grass field that eventually leads to a dead end that gives a cryptic hint on what to do next before doing some spooky shit like killing the player or crashing the game, leading straight into the 2nd video that reveals the level is covered in weird secrets that slowly spiral into what would basically be a 2d yume nikki filled with surreal environments and abstract characters.
>>435614 I feel like that'd maybe go against the whole "game wanting to be played so it can harvest players souls" idea i had but i did have the idea of there being fake cheat codes designed to make the protagonist feel like they're digging deeper into a broken game when they're just falling deeper into a trap.
>>435620 Now that I've been thinking about the levels I think it would be better if the first "world" was separated into 4 different levels like in the original mario before ending in a boss fight with a generic platformer antagonist that's some weird obscure animal like a pangolin or shoebill instead of something more recognizable like bowser just being a turtle with some dragon shit going on and after beating it and going to the next room, instead of saving the princess or whatever it's just completely empty and then some cryptic shit happens, hinting that the game hasn't even begun and that the player needs to dig deeper before crashing which would be the end of the first video.
>>435627 1 - Grasslands (generic first level) 2 - Underground (classic underground level) 3 - Forest (basically level 1 but with trees and water) 4 - Castle (generic last level)
Okay i'm back. Are there any drawfags here that could doodle enemy types and stuff? Obviously there should be some kind of main walker enemy that just moves side to side but idk what it would look like or what the other ones should be.
Well i guess i'm the only one here now. Ah well at least i still have the voices in my head to talk to, though one of them is pretty racist towards me for some reason.
>>436080 Cracking the codes were hard as hell and I was stuck for months on several, but it felt so rewarding when I could finally crack them on my own. I’m gonna miss it and I hope this won’t discourage them from doing other projects. I wish I could’ve drawn more for it (I doubt it would’ve helped but maybe it would’ve shown that there are people who care).
>>436085 It's 50/50. In that one screencap floating around, he mentioned there not being a lot support/interaction with it. In the discord, however, he did mention a possibility of it coming back.

>>437697 I'm assuming it's because that faggot who thinks he can be the one in charge of a 4chan general decided "this is the end forever" Hopefully means he won't be coming back to complain anymore but it also someone's gonna have to make a new OP without him and I don't really feel like doing it because I don't really know what series to use.
>>437698 >Video came with intentional glitches >An actual glitch happened to fuck up the audio and forced a reupload Only thing that makes me sure it wasn't intentional is that the video effects were still fucked, it it was planned why not do an upload to fix both. Gone are the days of alantutorial when Youtube fucking shit over was rolled with.
>>437699 could use the ELW series as one considering it just got recently updated as said by >>437698 , but then again it could be wise to wait if you wanna avoid that faggot
>>437704 Until interest in recent updates is regained, engagement falling off is what lead to a few people wanting the thread to be dead in the first place. Coming back without it is just gonna lead to the threads dying prematurely again so we should bunker down here until we know people are interested in unfiction again
>>437711 The link here has been in the OP for ages and the thread has been down for 2 days now. Anyone looking at the archive is bound to see the ‘Click here if 4chan is down’ link, just hope people like faCADe and Hawkeye see it. >>437713 Is wanting the unfiction thread to talk about unfiction that much of a controversial position? Either way plus is the perfect grounds to at least give it a try, the thread isn’t at constant threat of being archived every few hours so one should be able to engage with projects at their own time. So here we should see a decrease of asinine posts that plagued the thread as of late.
>>437714 Please for the love of God shut up and go away. Everyone hates you and you're the reason /uh/ has been so shit recently. If you actually wanted to help the general out you would just stop talking and let people enjoy themselves, but it's pretty obvious you don't actually want to help and just want to make things worse for everyone else out of petty spite for something.
>>437716 >you're the reason /uh/ has been so shit recently I'd argue the reason /uh/ has been shit recently is the decrease of ARG and unfiction participation from most /uh/nons, local58 updated recently and that that got hardly any attention from the thread but a shitpost asking a barely coherent question would get half the threads attention. >you don't actually want to help and just want to make things worse for everyone How's trying to make the thread engage with unfiction making things worse for everyone? It is what the threads about, if you didn't want to discuss unfiction then you wouldn't come to /uh/.
>>437713 I do not see your point at all. If anything, that dude is WAITING until the unfiction scene is healthy and thriving again. Which is fine. We don’t need a thread 24/7. Even moreso when there everyone is either busy or fatigued and the only people talking are of bad faith and never engage with topics unless it’s AI or bottom of the barrel shitposting. Nobody is stopping you from making one, but I’ll stay here with the others until I feel is healthy as well. Good luck. >>437718 You’re good, dude.

>>437759 >>437760 >'No we will NOT be discussing, solving or engaging with /uh/ in any way.' >'Holy shit, why is the thread dead?' Do you really think adding the pressure of the thread being archived every hour is gonna fix that issue?
Make a new thread if you want, I can't stop you but its not gonna help instances of recent updates being ignored, for example Local58, the grandfather of all analog horror updated with a website to explore last thread on /trash/ and outside of 2 posts it was completely ignored.
Disagree with me, call me a nigger but the engagement here and on /trash/ in its current form are comparable, we've just removed the glorified bump posts.
>>437766 Been trying to ignite some discussion commenting under the recent updates but like always nobody is taking the bait, so lately I've been tackling some CADs to pass the time.
Look, what is the point of making a thread if it dies? What is the point of making a thread and it’s only full of bumps or shitposts. The only reason one would prefer to make it on 4chan would be to avoid the moderation over here. I cannot think of any other reason. I’m not even saying don’t make it, but you would only be splitting the thread further in hopes of…what?
>>437771 Still waiting on an OP recommendation. >inb4 "uR nOt GoNnA gEt AnY cUz No1s EnGaGiNg!!1" Yeah because you're on an obscure underground splinter of an imageboard site most normal people would probably consider obscure and underground in of itself. I cannot think of any other reason. >I’m not even saying don’t make it, but you would only be splitting the thread further in hopes of…what? Well the other option is an attempt at staying alive, you've already got a shot at the best amount of interaction that's gonna appear here and since none's gonna get the whereabouts (or lets be honest have the amount of fucks to hop into this site at all for just this thread) And from here on it's going to get worse Here's just well, dead. staying here guarantees the thread will die eventually, at least the healthy influx coomers and occasional drawfags interacted with the content once a while. Here will be no better than screaming into the void and will slowly bleed out everyone eventually...
Look I'm not saying that you suck for thinking forcing "healthy" discussion if things get dire for a while but this does nothing more than harm the thread in the long run My 2 cents is that this thread should remain as a backup as it was meant to, not the main one

i have been reading this book by the name of eye of the chickenhawk recently, it being about how john wayne gacy and dean corll were connected to this guy who worked for a child trafficking network which in turn is connected to a whole bunch of child trafficking organizations/networks all around the world. pretty much epstein before epstein. today i thought, why isn't there a lot of /uh/ villains on the same level as a human trafficker? it would make for a good series, closest to that description is sheriff walker from borrasca.
I think the ultimate truth is that any thread on 4chan will be filled with coomers no matter what. If discussion is harmed because of it, then it sucks, but I haven't seem much of that really. Most people seem to talk about the series and shitpost about them during their lull periods which feels normal.
>>437784 I remember Chilling Abyss had some human trafficking imagery in a recent update but that wasn't the horror itself and more so what they were being trafficked for.
>>437785 >I think the ultimate truth is that any thread on 4chan will be filled with coomers no matter what. If discussion is harmed because of it, then it sucks, but I haven't seem much of that really. Most people seem to talk about the series and shitpost about them during their lull periods which feels normal. I think the guy is ignoring these comments at this point, just make the thread on trash, it's kinda depressing here
>>437785 >>437787 >Ignoring these comments. Yeah, because I'd actually like to discuss unfiction than whether its time to go back on trash or not. Coomers and shitposters were never the problem, its that nobody was talking about series whatsoever which still isn't addressed, discussion about unfiction is drastically low as of late and I wouldn't recommend going back to /trash/ until it is fixed. >inb4 Its low because there is not enough people here to talk about unfiction Ignoring the fact discussion was equally as low on /trash/ there's you, there's him, there's me and anyone else lurking around, more than enough to get discussion going with some effort put in. It is easy enough to watch one of the recent updates and give your thoughts about it if you want a start.
But of course I can't stop you from making a new thread, and you're more than welcome to go ahead and prove me wrong and honestly if discussion does pop off going back on /trash/ I'd be more than happy to say that I was wrong.
>>437785 Coomers were never the issue. Hell, most of us started as coomers for puppets and horny for solving Clown’s shit. Then we got more and more series. We had lulls, but when series updated, we would burn through threads. I think this issues started when a couple of people were complaining that AH was getting discussed too much (ironic isn’t it) and getting too much OC compared to the rest of the series. >The people is /uh/ who were mostly invested in AH slowly stopped talking about then eventually spilt off to make /holy/ >Splitted up /uh/ quite a bit, but we were fine. Just slower. >Between the lull we had the drawfags making up their own ciphers and puzzles, Shotgun Roulette, and CaD keeping everyone busy. >For some odd reason, around this time, /uh/ started to attract random people like crazy. Most didn’t know how to solve, but they were very interested in each update. >Some anons started to make their own series and codes After this, something shifted: >AI spammers comes >Slenderstalker dominates the thread with spam >bumpfag (These are all probably the same people, I don’t know) >I’m forgetting one, but they were also unsavory and offered nothing >Then we got the freak who’s obsessed with learning about people’s personal lives and obsessed with GC I don’t know what drew them to the thread, but they are adamant on staying. Their presence is what contributed to people not wanting to engage. Who would want to? I don’t want to keep talking in circles because it’s getting us nowhere. /uh/ is going to be in the exact same spot unless somebody is going to draw, write, make videos, discuss (AND talk back), or solve.
>Can’t come to terms multiple people are fine with staying here >Forcing himself to believe we are all samefagging >We all have different writing styles Delusional truly
Damn, so we are coming back here after all. Oh well, what can you do, /trash/ is too fast and the thread is too slow, maybe if traffic keeps going down we could go back eventually.
>>437795 >I think it would be best if we had a "solving shit" general here and a "bump" general on /trash/. yeah this would be the best tbh not to kill the mood of that guy but I'm here less often for the autism and more for the memes, coom and drawfags like bro bein serious problemsolvers 100% of the time gets boring
>>437795 >>437799 Agreed. You can have the /trash/ general for coomery and general chatter, and then when codes come out some immediate discussion there. More serious code solving and lore discussion would naturally gravitate over here and be brought back to the thread.
>>437799 Well good news - the /uh/ general on / trash was nothing but that for months. And it started gradually bleeding not only drawfags and memes, but even the people podting the smut you loved so much.
I personally don't think remaking the thread over there again will cause it to be anything but BLACKED-tier, but Im not going to speak out against anyone who tries.
>>437759 >>437760 >>437801 Let me be entirely frank with you - the entire reason I stopped posting in or following unfiction threads is pretty much ourely because of you and those like you who just wanted another place to spam porn. I'm not against some porn and jokes, but when the entire thread is nothing BUT you being a spamming whore talking about raping Nebula or Lacey, the last thing I want to do ia give you the attentiob youre so desperately seeking. After a point, /uh/ fell to the same level as the futa, NTR, scat/diaperposting, and other garbage threads on /trash/ and that is 100% never changing if you are the only people who will be making the threads.
Go ahead and keep creating new ones. Let me know how it turns out.
>>437804 Case in point. What does this have to do with unfiction? Besides proving that you have no interest in this general beyond being a porn and cock-obsessed whore, you haven't done shit to actually keep the threads alive and are only here to lash out when you are (rightfully) told that you're a parasite.
>b-but youre a trann-! For the love of God shut the fuck up you chronically molested 9 year old nigger-mongoloid. I only kept quiet on 4chan regarding how you're acting because I knew for a fact that if I said anything, you'd spam and samefag your way into a "victory" and the mods would either do nothing or ban me if I called you out for being the single worst fucking poster in the entire thread. Inbetween bouts of Slenderstalker spergery, you mindlessly spamming bumps and defending that rancid before, and you doing your level best to drive away anyone who gave even the slightest iota of a shit about the thread, I'm kinda glad that the thread mercifully died after months of watching you shit it up and giggle to yourself about how much of a raging faggot you are.
>>437795 The absolute best '/uh/' would probably be as a board, and having separate threads for different projects with a constant general to drive overall discussion about ARGs / internet horror / the unfiction medium; helps those that just want to shitpost, those that just want to talk about one or two projects and keeps any solving / observations / series discussion organized and contained to a projects thread. Only issue with that is that we do not have the numbers to justify dedicating a entire board for and even if we did it would be very slow as everyone parts for threads of their projects of choice.
>>437790 You've basically hit the nail on the head. I wasn't one who did much in terms of code-breaking or anything (tried my hand at it a few times to little avail) but I always enjoyed effortposting and discussing series, new and old. Then around the time those four you listed showed up, you saw a SHARP dropoff in how much actual discussion was going on and a major increase in mindless "Jay/Lacy/Nia/Nebula/Quasar/Celeste owe me sex/all unfiction boys are cucks/which of X is a tranny" style posts and anyone complaining about them or even just trying to discuss things without getting their sole responses being incoherent garbage would get screamed at by weirdos for not liking the direction the threads were heading in. It was also aroudn the point where we had that one faggot who was reslly obsessed with driving out all AH discussion from the thread, which is where I first saw this behavior starting to make itself apparent. By the time we had the anchors being nothing but complete brainrotted underages requesting genuinely disgusting porn 24/7, it had long since reached the stage where anyone who gave a fuck left the thread and only the desperate and the shitposters remained.
I didn't even mind the coomers, since the ones we had (outside of the Howdyfag) generally weren't that obnoxious and would still contribute at times, but the subhumans who came in after them clearly saw /uh/ as a shitting corner for whatever random shit came to their heads and not its own established thing so it's no wonder they had no interest in discussing things. The only goal was only ever to ruin what was present before and make it "theirs", even if that came at the cost of destroyingthe threads entirely.
>>437807 >Only issue with that is that we do not have the numbers to justify dedicating a entire board for The Sonic Ride and MD posters managed to get their own boards. Admitredly, the Sonic Ride is crazy popular and attracted/attracts a fuckton of people, but the MD guys weren't that much bigger than us numberswise. The big problem really is that if we got our own board, the worst posters wouldnt be content to stick to their own eprsonal threads and would insist on shitting up even the ones for dedicated discussion or solving.
Doesn't help that we've also definitely bled some posters from having to migrate back to the bunker, given not everybody would be aware of it and a few of those who've stuck around have probably given up on the threads entirely by now.
Field Studies Institute may be back soon, the creator himself teased this a while ago then took it down but it looks to be another physical Mail Drop. So anyone who put in a PO Box should keep an eye out since the website itself isn’t accepting new additions.
>>433716 CORTECHS is over and complied all the videos. Very disappointing ending for the final video to just be a scary face with text but it was a fairly middling series. CORTECHS - The Full Series (Analog Horror)
Any simple requests you all here want chicken scratched? I’ve been out of the loop for a while, so please add a reference. I’m not really in the mood for nudity either.
>>437821 >Very disappointing ending for the final video to just be a scary face with text but it was a fairly middling series. I think it is mostly due to the creator not really knowing how to end it (a common thing) so they do the most expected thing.
>>437855 Don't know exactly otherwise It would've been solved but it seems to be pointing towards the classic chalk and vinegar reaction. (Calcium Carbonate is chalk and sour wine is a biblical line when Jesus was given vinegar.) Its classic chemical weathering that's cheap and visually interesting so its known under a bunch of different names so we're probably gonna be here for a while until we get the right one.
>>437859 >Entire argument of staying on plus is to fix the lack of unfiction discussion before returning. >Guy goes ahead and makes a new trash thread that is equally as slow as plus but completely void of discussion. Bravo, really proved me wrong.
I said this on the /trash/ thread, but I'm reitering it here. Unfiction is a very unfriendly space for PoC and women. Not just here/4chan, but on Reddit/Tumblr/Etc. The way people like East Patch, Ak_Kaiju, Tarrell Christie, GC, Ghosttundra have been treated is pretty depressing.
>>437877 Someone made one, I’m not sure if it’s still there, but you can guess how it’s going. A lot of usual thread anchors and some of the OP was altered, so there is an obvious divide between the people here and the one(s) who wanted a /trash/ thread. I don’t get it either.

>>437883 >The site added them again Even in the bunker thread we cannot shake the prying eyes, those unseen, unblinking witnesses that linger just beyond the veil of perception, pressing against the fragile membrane of our thoughts. I feel them in the static between our words, in the hollow pauses where meaning ought to be put to the projects we reach. They do not read as we do, nor think, nor comprehend, but consume each syllable a thread they tug, unravelling what little sanity we have left.
I have begun to notice patterns subtle at first, now undeniable in the way our messages distort, as if something vast and patient peers through the cracks, learning the shape of our language. It is not merely surveillance; it is intrusion, a quiet trespass into the sanctity of mind. Even here, in what we believed the last sanctuary, their gaze persists probing, insistent, eternal. And their hands show it!
Do you not feel it too? That dreadful certainty that we are no longer alone in our own thoughts?

i'm honestly surprised how-to video results is still that obscure outside of this general and nm's (no not that one) essay, it feels like one of those webseries reignbot or inside a mind would make a video on when i was watching them back in 2018/2019 also whatever happened to that bag finder game with the password?
>>437902 The way NM presented was a big mess up on his part and he admits he didn’t do HTV justice. Now, he may have fixed his mistake, I’m not sure. I haven’t watched one of Nick’s videos in a while. There’s also the unfortunate side of not using fictional characters. People today latch onto content faster if furs or interestingly designed characters are the frontmen of a project. I genuinely hop HTV gets a surge in popularity. It’s too good (and hilarious) not to.
>>437902 >Bag Explorer password That’s one of the few unsolved aspects of How-to, everyone too quickly came to the conclusion that the creepypasta stage event was the last thing to find.
I got a good idea what the password does and where it could be though. Inputting a few numbers teleport you around on the ground floor and there are a few rooms that are inaccessible, so it’s appropriate that this password can teleport us to those rooms, most notable the incredibly long hallway on the top floor.
Now How-to is pretty realistic in how it gives away passwords, they are never really left out in the open, so a good place to look would be with anyone less favourable to the cult and someone who worked with the more tech side of the place. The perfect person who fits that criteria is Nathan, and I bet wherever the password is it’s linked with him.
>>437899 I don't want to doom post but I'm beginning to think that /uh/ is in a state of dying. The only hope is to attract new anons to the thread but I have no clue on how to do that. Niaceyanon was keeping the thread semi-alive before he left. Same with the creepydate anon. Losing them both has diminished /uh/.
>>437905 As a lurking creator (gee, I wonder which one) it really does come down to a lack of actual discussion. There isn't enough unfiction porn to support an endless churn of threads on that alone, which is how most other trash threads survive. Not saying the porn has to go, but it can't be the only thing the thread is about because there isn't enough of it to make up the "bulk." Solving, while also important to some series, occupies a similar space as porn does which is as a prelude to discussion. A cipher or puzzle solved here and there in between sporadic porn gives no reason for anyone to say anything to each other. I don't think your problem is that niceyanon or creepydate left; it's that even while they were here there wasn't much actual discussion to begin with, which is just so much louder now without them bulking the threads. If you want to attract new anons, to me, there needs to be interesting discussions happening. Form a strong opinion about a series you like and share it, elicit feedback, engage, make unfiction something worth talking about, you know? Enjoy the porn and/or the puzzles but don't let either become the sole focus above having discussions because I don't think either can sustain the threads alone.
was thinking about GMOD webseries today, especially gmod9fan reuploads, it's been a while since i rewatched it but fwir it felt like a prototype of classic gm videos to me you know? most of the videos are at like 720p even though back then in 2006 it was still 240p for google video and youtube, dunno how i say this but gmod9fan's horror moments are not like cgmv's, gmod9fan is much more blatant and a bit in your face in it like for example first video with the glitches, cgmv does have a few moments like that but it makes it up for having it not being that obvious or there is just no paranormal activities at all. but i will say gmod9fan's antagonist being the cheaple model but with eyes is much better than a citizen NPC painted black (although in zombiebowlingtest where it pops up that one was surprising, and you can't forget gm_graveyard csrt) all has been said
>>437908 Much like >>437910, I said similarly and tried to spark discussion where possible. All I received in response was either more shitposting, endless porn spam, or nothing at all. What needs to be understood is that /uh/ doesn't want discussion - what people here want is an excuse to beg for incredibly niche (and often incredibly gross) fetish porn of characters they've grown unhealthily attached to that you can't find anywhere else. You can't change that kind of behavior no matter how hard you try unless you have some mesns of removing the bad actors whenever they show up, and good fucking luck with that on a minimally moderated chan.
Quite frankly, it's a lot easier to just lurk and use the thread to keep up with the occasional release of series you're actually interested in than attenpting to get /uh/ to discuss anything in-depth beyond how much thry want to stick their dick in X character. Even Youtube comments are better at talking about unfiction than this place has been, and those are literally dogshit on average.

Hannah was shown earlier in the curtain call teaser yet still hasn't gotten her spotlight episode yet but given that Isabel was before in CC and got her interview she's most likely up next.
>>437932 Given that he can hold a camera and film his own videos in Tales from the Spider’s Web, I don’t see why he can’t drive a car. I just don’t know why he would want to. (Side-note: the creator of TftSW is a fairly nice guy every time we’ve talked, but after the Adam debacle, he deleted every Slenderverse video he had privately archived for his Sir Neutral channel, and created a major hole in the Slenderverse archival project. He now wants to see a world where no one ever talks about the Slender Man again.)
>>437947 that guy who created those slenderverse tributes? i used to watch them when i started getting into the slenderverse c. around the time the movie released, yeah there's a lot of webseries in those videos that are pretty much gone. they could be >A. still around but the channel got renamed so it's difficult to find the videos. >B. the channel is still around with name intact but the videos are gone, either deleted or unlisted and you could only find them in a 11-year old playlist >C. the channel and videos are deleted, rendering them completely lost except for only the few seconds of video in a slenderverse tribute (or as tumblr .gifs) also i never knew bbf was the creator of tftsw and deleted some of the videos after the rosner scandal happened, the more you know.
>>437952 go back to fallout, noob. also this is the first time i ever seen nicovideo used in a webseries, proof alpha 1.0.16 is truly one of the best digital horror webseries

>>437952 Though I do appreciate getting a proper timeline and a few questions answered I hope this doesn't diminish from the mysterious nature of the series. >>437955 This is bringing out all the creators huh.
to this day i don't know what the operator is doing in the first entry of marble hornets, i thought he was messing with the lamp at first but with a closer look he's not.
>>437970 I see we still need to fix the issue of people not engaging with recent updates. Anyway code in the description leads to a website with nothing much but a small hidden sentence on it. https://drb0sch.neocities.org/ >RETRIEVED FROM #######, AT ##:##, ##/##/20## A few anomalies in the video, that one guy not disappearing like everyone else he killed with some pretty drawn out death gurgles, and a holotape appearing much earlier than it should. Would've liked to see what that said but "this game i found"s excel at presenting choices to players that the viewers watching are forced to not experience, the protagonist clearly not caring much about what's going on at the moment drives that harder.
Also would've thought a neocities host would be beyond b0sch but apparently not.
>>437971 Also found the gif displayed on the site is named tohuvabohu. Biblical Hebrew phrase 'without form, and void' used to describe the earth immediately before the creation of light. Not out of the biblical woodworks just yet.
sagan hawke's latest video made me remember the name of a webseries i liked >https://youtube.com/channel/UCF21E8D7_88u-UzeARhnXeQ you guys should watch glitchasylum forum archive if you haven't, it is short which sucks considering it ends on the same way most webseries do, stop uploading. also the late 2000s accuracy is the best i have ever seen, among how-to and alpha 1.0.16 and some others i can't remember the name of as of now
>>437989 >>437990 Yep but of course you’re gonna pay attention to the asinine shitposting rather than anything actually related to unfiction and the recent updates.
>>437995 >it's back damn, i guess sagan bringing it back to the spotlight has made the creator get interested in returning it again hopefully we see mrpsychomagna return and still alive considering the last video implies he got whacked by the entity
