I tried doing this on /asp/ but they let that shit enter the archives unceremoniously. How many fags here are actually interested in this sport, and how are you doing now that the Kingly Beer disease has cooped you up? This thread can become a general afterwards if you give enough of a shit about it.
Never played paintball, closest experience is a couple of goes of laser tag and that paintballing webcomic I used to read decades ago (not the furry one with the polar bear, the other one)
>>421879 NGL after reading the comments I could see some riot control officer feeling like a god with this in their hands. But they'll be calling the tired protestors terrorists. Though I'd imagine their attitude would change real quick once one of the protesters tired of getting or a "protestor" who saw an apple store nearby got one for themselves.
Does anyone know of paintball shotguns that aren't garbage? I usually play at outdoor long-range fields but the way these look just might get me to LARP as Doomguy on the smaller maps.
>>421882 How does a Paintball shotgun work compared to the normal shooter? Is it just a fancier way of only shooting a couple of balls rather than multiple then needing to reload?
Like I've heard of paintball pistols being a thing but presumably they are smaller and easier to handle in specific situations than a full sized gun.
Paintballing is alot more tacticool than I originally thought it was. Always assumed it was just those spitters with the ammo kidney on top that you couldn't really mistake for an actual gun.
Now I'm finding out there's grenade launchers and RPGs involved.
I'm half-expecting to learn in a couple of years "going paintballing" is just groups of paint-gun armed aerial drones cutting down the human losers hiding in bushes struggling to fight back.
>>421959 A flamethrower is in-itself just a giant hose. But instead of spraying paint or water its spraying fuel, over a much more impressive range than you'd think, which is being ignited to kill the enemy in a horrific burning fashion.
Does anyone actually use first strike rounds? I have seen and heard of their effectiveness but rarely hear them talked about, though perhaps that's just because not many boards talk about paintball to begin with(that I know of).
>>422051 There are several reviews on Youtube from paintballers big and small demonstrating their effectiveness, so I wouldn't say so unless you play indoors almost exclusively.
