>>417817 Anonex basically saw moot resign and decided to make his inactivity official. Autonymoose turned the site design into this before sleeping like Anonex before him. I became a janitor along with some other people. 4chan's /aco/ and /trash/ sucked out a fair bit of /pco/ so there's a lot more little girls there now. /draw/ is dead.
>>417820 Just you wait until it becomes COMMON knowledge (not to be confused with JUST knowledge) that Discord collects, stores, and sells more of your data than Facebook. Then this place will get a few more people.
>>417823 Oh right. Last Dec 31, the site was going to get shut down so an exodus Discord was made and started banning people and drama but then the new dev managed to make a deal and keep this site up so now there's plus4chan.org, plus4chan Discord and a plus4chan 8ch board. Pretty sure the last one is almost dead though, no idea about the Discord.
It's not just here. People often set up their own discord to discuss shit, moving content away from #chan boards. I've seen threads devolve into 100+ posts of invite begging for a discord channel, because some poster decided to stop posting on the board and keep their stuff in their own private little channel.
The +4 discord is no different, and as far as I know has nothing to do with the +4 administration. Some guy set it up so he can be king for a day. And it actively sucked out activity of this board which never actually died.
>>417825 >>417826 Well that sounds boring. Is that why I only recognize like two names or did most of the old plus4's just move on to twitter and tumblr?
>>417828 Most moved on a long time ago to twitter and/or tumblr. The last stranglers left to discord when the site was scheduled to die. If plus4 was a zombie a few years ago, it is now just a disembodied zombie hand.
>>417828 I think most people just forgot about this site. The site being semi-broken for a few years probably didn't help, and neither does the fact that most people browse from mobiles (we don't have a mobile layout yet).
>>417829 It's interesting though, I've been checking the archives lately, and a lot of people who are normally on tumblr were posting here. Some bigger webcomic artists too.
I think it was the design change that killed the site, then the fact that 4chan added /aco/ (which is an incredibly shit board, but because it is on 4chan, it sucks away traffic from everywhere else).
nothing. i just came here after a hiatus. the only reason i came here cuz of the /baw/ board. best board on the internet imo. i also think that this site is better than 4chan in every way
