Wanted to do this for a long time.

It goes like this: you post a photo of some part of the world, and others will try and guess the country. Nature is preferable, but cities are okay, I guess. If 5 posts get it wrong, someone else can post another photo.

Naturally, I'll go first. Hint: it's somewhere in Europe.

Looks like volcanic rock so I'll guess Ireland but I know I'm wrong. Thanks Google Reverse Image Search!

This might be a cool thread. I recommend people go outside and take pictures for hard modes.

And the hint for this one is: it's somewhere in North America

Nope, but here is 3 more hints: This state wasn't colonized by the British.
If you can't see it, there are 3 large smokestacks and a large rock formation in that picture.
This states biggest agricultural export is milk.

The answer is California.
The giant rock is Moro Rock. Named so by the Spainish settlers due to it reminding them of a turban, a hat Moors (the Muslims that use to inhabit southern Spain) wore.

Well, you see, you said the lead export is milk. I checked, and California exports more fruit than milk.

Post another photo, or let someone else do it.

That report is from 2013, so a more recent study might be more up to date.

Someone else do it.

Okay, I wonder how many of you can get close without reverse image search.

If 5 people get it wrong, I tell you what it is, and someone else posts a photo.

This will be an odd one:

Some may immediately recognise the place (or at least the country) based on the event happening. Otherwise, a keen eye may be able to narrow down the region from clues.

Closer, but not quite.

The town was Vrontados, on the Greek island Chios.

The event was Rouketopolemos, where two rival churches launch fireworks are each other every Easter and count who hit the other belfry the most.
