By that I meant that it's a classic comic. I've seen it 20+ years ago, and wikipedia says the actual series started in the 1990s.

And the joke itself is probably much older.

Yeah, the problem with upscaling is the limited number of pixels available, and the quality of the original picture. If only we could do the whole "Enhance" from tv shows and get a 4k quality image.

The early sketch was more like a bachelor party than a family friendly normal one, with strippers and underwear being thrown around. Probably done as a joke to account for the lack of backgrounds.

I can identify Jeanne, Sonia, and the secretary from Gaston, Seccotine from Spirou, and the redhead on the right is probably Laureline from Valerian (don't want to say Melusine since she is wearing lipstick). But really these are the easy ones.

Redhead on the right is Franka from the comic of the same name.
Greenskin is indeed the recurring generic galaxian girl

Costumes and other elements are just recurring things the artist loves to reference, so indeed Tank Girl's bra or Pravda's black costume or Scrameustache's helmet

I also see Spirou, Fantasio, and Marsupilami, Lucky Luke, and the old man from Asterix's village (Geriatrix?), plus his wife and Falbala/Panacea.

Yeah, there's a lot of other things too, I think my favorite is Mrs. Incredible with Mr. Fantastic, while at the same time she is fingering Sailor Moon who at the moment is talking to Mr. Incredible (in the other side of the room).
