Why haven't we pooled the talents of the Gwenlords together and put together a picture booklet celebrating the sensuous sexuality of the Goddess Queen? Let's use this thread to work on one, starting NOW. Let's get organised and do something productive and maybe give ourselves til the end of the year to get it done. Any ideas for a name? Yes, the cats ears would have been only a potential theme idea to compliment the otherwise free interpretation that the artists have of Gwen. I personally hate cats ears so I would never have voted for that. A recurring theme would be great though, even if it's as simple as incorporating her cat logo somewhere in the image, be it on her jewellery or in wall graffiti behind her.

The first question is actually a personal reflection and asks for the artist's take on the character. It could be worded more like, 'why did you draw Gwen doing that particular activity while wearing that particular outfit', so the answer could be "I see Gwen as a bossy, dominant character so I drew her in black leather".

Also they don't have to answer all. It will be a proper write up so it won't be in list form. The list of questions is to help form material for the accompanying paragraph for the artists work so it can be as detailed as the artist wants.

Personallity wise i meant, i know she is supposed to be the contrast to Ben's personality, but there were times when they went too far in the other direction, to the point that they should treated her as more of a obstacle to overcome.

heck, she was supposed to be ben's "girlfriend"...........let that sink in....

Now for the Questions:

1.- For this festival, i will draw a settei next (character sheet)

2.- Like i said, only how versatile her character design is for good rule34

3.- I remember having drawi her in the past in a slave outfit, but looking back, it was atrocious as hell, adult-ish proportions in legs and hips on a loli character, no sense of weist, shading that tried to imitate Apostle's paint shading but all over the place, afterwards i drew her again in a swimsuit but since looking back it was horrible as well, like really, my drawing skills only became passable 2 years ago, and even here and then i need to draw Gwen with less fat, tough i am not trying to draw her with the same Cartoon-ish proportions that she had in the show, aside from her face.

4.-Never liked the show to being honest, aside form catching on bits and pieces, and what i saw of Gwen did not really do me any favors.

5.- My favorite Gwen Artists, welp, is a hard one, mostly because the one that got her look right was Drew, but only when he sthicks on model as close as possible, other times he gives her more quircky proportions, as long as the face is still recognizable, And other times, sadly, he does not, at least not in recent years, like, he draws her way too cartoonish for my taste sometimes, but when he gets her right, Dang.

Aside form that, AshesG is the 2nd best, tough he tends to draw her in a more "rough" form, and sometimes her head is a bit huge, but his style is sweet, and i based Gwen polynesian outfits on a request he once took for me.

I am gonna draw a Character Sheet of Gwen for reference in this thread.

Couple of questions i have,

I'd like to see this more. Don't know if it's a trick of the camera angle she's drawn in. If she's drawn on a lower level, it feels more like you're an adult looking down on her. It has a very subtle, subconscious effect. Every artist seems to draw her with the camera mid-level on her like in >>216641. I get that it is trying to be a pin-up shot but it doesn't quite capture how young and small she is. She looks like a teenager when the camera is on her level.

I was agreeing that stuff's Gwens actually appear short in size like a preteen. He's one of the only ones who has figured this out. The artist in OP knows the method to doing this too. It's something about her mass and making her frame more delicate to give an illusion that she is small and lightweight. Maybe if artists become mindful of camera angles the next time they draw her it might help with height consistency. I think it could make for a fun challenge too.

I think i realize what the deal is with her original proportions, You see, she's supposed to be stylized, like an american cartoon design, and honestly, the way they draw in that show, i dont really think there really is a consistency on her volume to her proportions, remember that sometimes american artists tend to draw the clothes, as part of the skeleton, if you know what i mean, they could make the legs and arms just cilinders or sticks and a dorito shape female waist.

So yeah, i myself prefer drawing in a more or less anatomically correct human body figure used by japanese artists and animators in the 80s, i don't really find it easy to draw stylistically.
