Alright original dude here, I took a second crack at it. Used the multiply setting on the hearts, which definitely made it look better than just screwing with opacity and I ganked the second dude's devil horns (which look great BTW). I'm pretty pleased with it at this point.

Man... Area is SUCH an art powerhouse. Style and story-"feel" (emotion, pacing, humor, expressions), this FEELS like this is like it's STRAIGHT from an episode of the show. The pacing, as a stand-alone comic, is ALSO good: Not too slow, not too fast. The tension in that 5th page... MMMMPH... I WANT Star to suck face with Marco (and I'm not a shipper), even if she's marginally so-so with kissing (which would ALSO add to the humor and feeling to the comic, if Area wanted to go that route.).

Overall, this comic is gonna be solid, like his ongoing Wakfu comic!

Holy crap, this has been a phenomenal piece by Area so far. The style is accurate to the show- especially with the expressions, where it counts the most imo- the dialogue feels natural and in-character, and the situation feels so real and emotional for two awkward teens locked in a will-they-won't-they situation like them.
