I think they are doing what they can to survive. Here in the US, we have the thought police and the SJW's of all political orientations that want to legislate thought crimes like drawing certain things or making certain songs and stuff like that. In some other countries, the type of material that is seen here is flat-out illegal. There have been stories from all over the world about people getting busted for buying hentai and stuff like that. It is a scary world out there. If you are a content host, you have to weigh the value of artistic expression against social and legal pressure to stifle that expression. My feelings are that everything should be allowed as long as nobody gets hurt. A drawing of a cartoon character sucking a cock isn't the same as having a real person suck a cock.

He's posted in like, 2 threads about this. And both are worded very differently. Maybe you just need to take the situation more seriously? How would you feel if stuff you like suddenly got deleted forever because it was basically, "drawn too damn good/excellently"?

Thousands/hundreds of works in paheal have been archived there since 2007/2009. Most of which are literally unrecoverable once deleted. Mostly because the artists themselves are no longer making art, the art has no source but deleted threads from image board requests, who knows who the fuck got that where.

I'm not worried. I've been thinking about making my own site once I feel comfortable enough to produce work on a regular schedule and be reliable. Besides, it is their site. So, it is their prerogative as to what they will allow on their site. I think that censoring anything is contrary to the spirit of the 34th rule. No exceptions - means NO exceptions. If they do ban my material I would hold no ill will or grudge over it. Instead they have my thanks for holding out for great artists like Incog for as long as they have and I understand that any choice they make will not be personal but basically a business decision.

Well, on Storytime saturday I plan on making a comic strip. I actually have a few original comic concepts of my own. I could do one of those or something based on an existing series if I think up something funny. I've also been wanting to get into making image sets that tell a story.

Anyhow, my original concepts are as follows:

The adventures of Dash Lancer: An action sci-fi comedy with erotic humor that stars Dash Lancer, the last man alive in the distant future. The character himself is based on sci-fiheroes like Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Commander Shepard and Captain Kirk.

Sinner's Heaven (Co-written and created by furyfire): An action adventure series that takes place in the nine circles of hell. Starring Cheryl, former queen of the lust circle and Vista, a half angel on a quest through the bowels of underworld.

Gettin' Wet: Comic strips and erotic short stories that focus on a group of gel/slimegirls that share a house and live in a modernized fantasy world. Starring Splash, the titular youngster of the bunch that moved in with her sister to attend college, Misty, Splash's stern older sister and Slurp, the lascivious mischief-maker of the bunch. I already have a couple adult stories written up on this one.

Anyway, today is Mother-up monday and I managed to get my work done, so I'll do some mother up art today. I'll try to finish >>184612 and maybe do a couple character sketeches.

Well, I have assessed what you said and I do think you have a point. Like I said, you weren't rude. I'll try to work on making things a little softer. No problem. Besides, Line economy is something that I consciously have a problem with. Like some really good artists can draw a picture with ten sweeping lines and it'll look fantastic. So maybe a less is more approach would help and maybe a bit less angular.

Well, I'm fairly new to drawing loli types and if the advice will help me refine my work without high expectations that I be the best artist on the face of the planet overnight, I'm all for it. The only thing that would rub me the wrong way would be if the person giving the advice had a shit attitude or was completely negative and seems to think that it is his/her job to beat up on artists (I've met more than a few of these on art forums). I appreciate directness, but I'm very particular about how the directness is presented. Anon presented his criticism well. Besides, I take all constructive criticism under advisement.
