Some people actually believe you can fix horrible writing with a sequel or a prequel. Flaws can be addressed, yes, and weird moments explained. There's so many historical/fantasy tv series that randomly add masses and masses of sexual content to them.

Apparently the show has female orcs confirmed, but they are LotR orcs so not like its all that fappable.

Aren't the orcs made from corrupted elves originally? Doesn't seem that out there.
