I have a problem of trying to find some decent beats to listen too while I do my college work, but I can't find anything. I've decided to make my own music but I can't find some good software for making music. Honestly, I don't care about paying for it, got and suggestions?
>>417560 >>417561 "music to listen to while studying" is a silly idea since you should be concentrating on studying. But then, it may create associations in your mind that helps you remember something better so I dunno. If that's the case then really anything will work.
"music to listen to while working" can be anything and depends on each person what fits the best. It could be the Ed, Edd n Eddy theme song on loop for an hour, as long as it puts you in a mood or mindset that allows you to focus on your work or to just block out anything else but work. The only thing that doesn't work is the kind of music you will start focusing on, which then decreases your productivity. Like when you start paying attention to the lyrics while you should be writing something like an email.
>>417604 Its a movie trying to make a remorseless crazy fashion bitch who wanted to skin puppies for her coat into a cool "girlboss" hero for social media Of course it has to make her sympathetic by dragging down the animals in question
Comedian Sean Lock has passed away, cancer. I watched alot of his stuff including his role on the show 8 out of 10 cats, he was excellent at what he did.
>>417647 Started watching, and it pains me to see the proud and ancient english tradition of offensive humo(u)r, which was still at its peak 2 decades ago, being destroyed by marxists. GOD this is so funny.
>>417690 Its not an actual movie yet, its just some test footage to try and get a biopic going. Its kind of fucked that tards on social media keep sending the clip to Robin Williams daughter though, like they don't take the two seconds to think about it.
>>417702 oh god what the fuck ahahahah That blue haired chick is literally in a bathrobe, Morpheus looks like he is dressed up as a pimp, and Neo is really only missing a beer belly.
A friend speculated that the Dragon's Lair movie that was in the works might have been turned into Free Guy, and I kind of hope that's the case, because that means Dragon's Lair might later get a rotoscoped adaptation in a similar style to the game instead of a live action one. That, and Dragon's Lair just seems like more of a Vin Diesel thing to me.
>>417724 Knuckles is shown in the very first trailer and his voice actor has been announced openly for awhile now, its not like anyone involved is trying to keep it a secret.
>>417761 Is the whole true name is Neo compared to the villain calling him by his civvy simulation name have to do with deadnaming now that it turns out the Wachowskis are trans?
>>417763 This self-indulgent flick will be watched almost entirely by boomers and genXers. Aka, the generation obsessed with Hollywood actors and celebrities.
Speaking about the Sonic 2 movie so much here's another weird promotional thing they are doing. https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2022/03/22/sonic-the-hedgehog-2-inspired-xbox-controllers/
So the Halo live-action show is out. Not only did they have Master-Chief take off his helmet and show his face in the first episode, but in the third they have the dude walking around naked.
It seems like they are actively allergic to having the character maintain his known look.
>>417767 >>417769 Apparently Jim Carrey is retiring from acting after Sonic 2. So you know any further movies they make in the series will be shit Though this is already obvious from the fact the stinger at the end of 2 introduces Shadow
>>417782 That's assuming they'll make a third movie. and iirc Carrey already retired from acting before, and right now he explicitly said that he'll come back if they give him a great project.
...Who is ready for a MINECRAFT movie? https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/minecraft-movie-jason-momoa-1235131605/
Let's hope they spin this out into a minecraft-cinematic-universe, the hit spinoff videogame Minecraft: Story Mode shows the setting is just RIPE for narrative exploration!
Though since this thread has so many posts about dead celebrities, some paranoid part of me thinks all these new Weird Al-related productions is because he's on his way out and this is him getting stuff done in the time he has left.
No actual basis for it, just bad thoughts that creep up on you unwarranted.
Clerks 3 seems like it will be the Matrix 4 of the series. Unnecessary sequel long after the fact that is too busy jerking off over the original in terms of references.
https://www.theroot.com/mf-doom-s-widow-says-the-rapper-s-rhyme-books-have-been-1849511977 This sounds like it could be the story setup in a Shadowrun session
Coolio has passed away, age 59. Official cause yet to be stated but apparently cardiac arrest. https://www.tmz.com/2022/09/28/coolio-dead-dies-los-angeles/
Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd had a comic con reunion. Kind of depressing seeing the state Fox is in because of his condition, when standing next to the older Lloyd.
>>418055 Michael Keaton is back playing BJ and Danny Elfman is still making the music score, so I don't know if it'll be that bad. I'm mostly worried about too much ugly CGI instead of the practical effects of the first movie.
>>418076 Japan has gotten super butthurt about these sort of images.
Jap twitter users have even resorted to photoshopping their own versions to replace references to Oppenheimer with stuff related to 9/11. Poor dumb bastards don't even realize that Americans are the primary makers of 9/11 jokes.
>>418097 That trailer looks more like a Roland Emmerich disaster movie.
I give them props for using the original cast and being in continuity with the last movies (ignoring that failed reboot completely), and unlike the last movie it seems they are doing an ORIGINAL story instead of just completely re-threading the original movies plot with Gozer. So this might be good.
>Ridley Scott on historians having criticisms about ‘NAPOLEON’. >“When I have issues with historians, I ask: ‘Excuse me, mate, were you there? No? Well, shut the fuck up then.’”
>>418123 It's only missing the soundtrack CD (which I already have so no big deal). Does it have the unreleased content that the fans found on early VHS screeners and edited together to make an extended edition? That one puts back in place a lot of scenes that make the movie make a lot more sense.
>>418126 It's worth a watch. https://archive.org/details/super-mario-bros-1993-the-morton-jankel-cut-extended-vhs_202207
>Previously-unseen deleted scenes include the Mario Bros running afoul of the (probably Mafia-connected) Scapelli plumbing company, Koopa murdering a technician by de-evolving him into slime, and Iggy and Spike rapping about the overthrow of King Koopa at the Boom Boom Bar. There's more of Daniella and the Brookyln Girls. Most scenes are extended in this version, with a lot more of Dennis Hopper as Koopa, and the rest of the cast.
I'm re-watching The Terminator (1984) from a scanned 35mm reel. It's so much more movie-like than bluray rips. Also, seeing Arnie when he was still young, and threatening instead of a comedy guy, holy crap. He looks really fucking menacing, and Kyle looks batshit insane at the start, up until the police shootout. Entire movie is an actual thriller, not an Arnie Comedy Action Movie.
>phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range still wonder what that is.
