Hello my friedns! Another day another thread for the Drones, the Sentinels, Tessa and Mitchell and everything else, you know. Link to the Booru: https://dronebooru.co Last thread: >>73146
ALERT!!! JCJenson has taken over this thread and has converted it into a J thread. Your IP will be banned in 3 system hours. To prevent this, reply to this post with a picture of the Employee of the Month, Serial Designation J. Thank you for understanding.
>>74187 >You sign up for the Sentinel Buddy program >You are assigned a Sentinel Drone to be the friend of and help it destress between missions >Your Buddy arrives >She is abnormally tall >She looks down at you >"You look like a child. I hate children."
>>74187 Love drone kiss drone make love with drone make family with drone have a lot of children with drone die tragically for drone make them experience [You look lonely, I can fix that from Blade Runner]
>>74199 This but she likes children instead. >picks up anon and lets him ride on her shoulders >>74203 >>74216 Needs a reversed version with a big DD looking over anon.
relatively new and trying to grasp some AU stuff: >what universe do SDs originate in, and how exactly does it work? >were DDs a human creation in that AU? >if humans are still alive developing and using drones, then obviously the solver didn't annihilate all mankind– so what is the solver's status? >what state is the earth/human race in?
>Rule on Laborers #4: Venture below CyberCog Tech facilites with the assumption that every working Laborer or WDs down there have been infected with J0y. Her influence is highly potent and anything such as finger scrapes on face screens are enough for her to creep in.
>>74239 He's still rewriting stuff but the general gist I know is that it follows the same plot of the show with earth being blown up and the Solver creating DD's But the humans capture some DD's and a human scientist reverse engineers them to create SD's The war is still going but it's looking pretty bad for humanity and they're turning to increasingly desperate measures to try and hold the Solver off
>>74222 I miss the days when we could make jokes about pedophilia among other things. People nowadays think that if you're joking about something you're attacking the victims. And thanks to that comedy went down the crapper as certain people thought that attacking your opponent is comedy and flooded talk shows and comedy specials with it.
>>74239 sd’s come from the drawfag phoenixanon’s extended au universe, based around his ao3 fanfiction, “Phoenix” dd’s are products of jcjenson in that universe most of the story involving the characters takes place long before the events of the show, in the later years of the solver war, which is why they’re all still kicking around as it stands, the setting of the story, the planet Oslo-4 is probably one of the last bulwarks of human civilization, sentinel drones are their desperate measures, obviously they are retrofitted disassembly drones the story was written over a year ago and hasn’t been touched since, the only exceptions being new characters thrown in here and there. much of it is currently being redeveloped by phoenixanon himself to better fit into continuity, if only to give him an excuse to draw dr. holly more
Image:173015135472.png(74kB, 2350x260)serial designation k and eliza holly (original character) - 9dce6fa4d2bf694b4ca776a51e679c5a.png
>>74239 >what universe do SDs originate in, and how exactly does it work? Sentinel Drones are a pretty broad concept with several different interpretations but the basic concept is that they were the result of Humanity attempting to hybridize Anti-Drone Sentinels with reversed engineered Disassembly Drones. The specifics on how the process works depends on which interpretation you go by (picrel is cliffnotes by the original creator, although you can browse for by searching "sentinel_drone" & "lore" on the booru)
>were DDs a human creation in that AU? No
>if humans are still alive developing and using drones, then obviously the solver didn't annihilate all mankind– so what is the solver's status? The Solver has all but won the war, but beyond that it's unknown whether it's been 'defeated' by Uzi on Copper-9
>what state is the earth/human race in? Same as in canon; Earth is destroyed & Humanity is either completely dead or just mostly dead
>>74262 >The Railgun malfunction in class kills Uzi even before she has a chance to leave the Outpost >Uzi's classmates are shocked momentarily before immediately laughing about it >Uzi was after all the dumb loser weirdo kid, why would anyone give a shit about her death? >Eventually the news reaches Khan through a half-assed phone call by the Teacher, to which Khan replies >"That's funny I didn't even know that I had a daughter!", he hangs up the call and quietly begins to sob
>Meanwhile, N is continually abused by V and J >The three DDs never manage to get past the doors to the Outpost as they never open >The Solver eventually decides to send the trio down into the labs, where they meet their brutal ends at the hands of Raptors >This cycle continues forever
>>74270 >Cyn wins No she does not. She can't progress >>74271 >Solver gets involved personally and solos No she does not. Remember Cynwalker still had trouble down there. In this timeline not only does The Solver have to deal with Nori who put up a good fight against her, but also Alice who we haven't even see what she's capable of
If The Solver could do shit by himself, why did it even bother then sending down DD teams? Unless of course, The Solver actually couldn't do shit by itself
>>74274 >Remember Cynwalker still had trouble down there. Because it had to maintain its cover and couldn't use 3D modeling tool hax. >Nori Vored. >Alice Pulped.
>>74249 >V walks into the room with Hope in her arms >"...N! How could you!" >She runs away >"V! Wait!" N calls out >"Bye bye" says Cyn >V runs away >She abandons Hope >The pillbaby is discovered by an elderly couple in the countryside that can't have kids of their own >They had lost all hope of ever having a child >Hope grows up to like humans and volunteers for the Sentinel Drone program >Her mission eventually takes her to Copper 9 >She tracks an odd DD signal to some ruins >There she finds a crib made of scrap metal with a pillbaby in it >It has yellow eyes >It is the source of the signal >Hope takes aim >The pillbaby's eyes go "Oh fuck" >A mechanical arm shoots out and grabs Hope's gun barrel, yanking it away from the pillbaby >Hope struggles against it >The crib transforms in a sequence that would make Michael Bay clap >Hope is alarmed >She forms a sword and cuts her own gun to free herself >She jumps back >There's a creepy gaunt humanoid made of scrap standing in front of her >It has the pillbaby for a head >"Shoot a baby, really?! Are all you clankers just bastards?!" >The voice comes from the body >The two robots fight but the scrapbot is outmatched and flees >Hope is baffled >She relays her encounter to the rest of her team over Sentinelink and goes after the scrapbot >She chases it over a matter of weeks during which it evades or neutralizes her using human-like ingenuity >They exchange a few words each time >At some point the scrapbot proclaims that he won't die before he finds his mother >This strikes a cord with Hope >She never thought to look for her mother >Yet here is a DD of some kind, a monster by nature, showing more sentiment than her >Such are the doubts and disquiet in Hope that she starts seeking to communicate with the scrapbot to learn more about it and reflect on it and herself >Eventually Hope uses some ingenuity of her own that she picked up from being raised by humans >She pretends to be helpless so that the scrapbot will approach her >It falls for it >The two of them chat >She learns from it that he is looking for his mother who abandoned him >His name is Babyface because he has a baby for a face >He had no parents to make a body for him >Hope replies by opening up about being abandoned herself and how she doesn't know why she hasn't looked for her mother >She relays her happy childhood with her human parents >"Must had been nice" says Babyface sarcastically >"It was" replies Hope. "I want you to be part of it. Everyone should have a mom and a dad. I could be your sister." >Babyface seems to consider it >"Hmph. Baloney. You clankers will say anything to get out of a tight spot." >Hope bursts out of the trap she pretended to be trapped in >Babyface takes a few steps back, surprised and alarmed >Hope reaches out again >"I have you at my mercy. I am being honest. Throwaway child to throwaway child. Wait!" >Babyface is already running away >He pauses for a moment to call back >"If you are being honest then stop following me. I will think about it." >Hope watches as the scrapbot runs away and disappears past her range >She dusts a rock and sits down to think about how she could find her mother
Anons, which of these would make for a more interesting concept?
>Uzi has a big brother/sister she doesn't know about. Khan and Nori don't speak about them because they think they died when the disassembly drones came, but they're still alive. >After having calmer lives following the events of the series, Khan and Nori decide to have a second child. Now Uzi has a little brother/sister.
>SD-P breaking down and crying when he realizes N has at least 3 different bitches inside of his gf Uzi, maybe more >"P-pimpin' ain't easy," he chokes past tears, his words empty and meaningless
>>74321 >"So true, P." >Batanon reels back and cracks a tremendous blow against the sobbing pimp, sending him flying into a comically sized dart board. >His entire upper half splatters on the bullseye for 200 points.
>>74321 >Hug SD-P >Tell him that he's trying and that's all that matters >Making him feel appriciated Don't let his flashy appearance fool you, he's just another drone that needs a hug
>>74330 >"Oh no...." >Cue a groaning E asking for tummy rubs despite her not A. Owning a digestive system that can be upset and B. Everything she eats disappears into her core.
>>74337 >"These are the three things that scare an Anon!" >She pulls out a piece of paper from her aft. >"One! A job application!" >Then a bar of soap. >"Two! Basic bodily hygiene!" >And then finally a photo of people having fun at a party. >"And three! A healthy social life!"
>>74337 >Hear about the cute drone that scares people. >Waiting for your turn. >She'll probably just pop out of some corner and say boo. >That's how it goes for everyone else anyway. >Then, one night, you hear a knock at your door. >Figuring this must be your turn, you get ready to act 'spooked'. >You open the door to find Lucy just standing there, staring up at you. >Doesn't even have a costume on... >"You're going to die alone Anon. Nobody likes you. And most everyone thinks you're a failure." >You just stare at the drone for several moments. >Then, she walks away. >You spend the night awake. Thinking about what she said.
>>74337 I’m TERRIFIED of sloppy drone kisses and heavy petting and cuddling and watching movies together snuggled up on the couch in blankets on a crisp autumn evening
>>74342 >Lucy can sense you're lying >She sets up various scenarios where you always see her in the distance, but she never pays you any mind or attention
>>74345 >Anon goes up a level >Next you get an invitation to your own funeral >Thinking you don't want to go up ANOTHER fucking level you show up, assuming it's just a scare or threatening your death or something. >Instead it's just Lucy there. >She sent out invitations to everyone. >Nobody showed up >Just her and you. >This is your legacy Anon.
>>74348 >"Do you have a shotgun? I want you to blow my head off, I always wanted my funeral to be one with a closed casket." >"Please, do one favor for a poor sinner."
the real horror is that Lucy has little to no actual narrative potential because she can, by her own nature, only do one thing and no supporting characters can overcome it
if there’s any part of her deep down inside that’s still lucid, it’s terrified
>John wakes up in his cot and smiles >Not because he's happy to be awake, but because he knows that one day he won't wake up >It's just a matter of time
>>74317 I think both concepts could be interesting, but the latter is overall better. I think the character development from the Doormans having a new member in the family is better than the development from discovering a long lost sibling.
Anon for the love of fucking God. Stop telling the Disassemblers you have nanites in your mouth and they need to jam their tongues down your throat to save your life. I know it works every time but still.
Almost being smothered to death by J's massive ass... My pleas for mercy muffled by J's massive ass... All of my senses being overtaken by J's massive ass...
>>74368 it’s not my fault they all immediately start making out with me at the slightest provocation, that’s just how DDs are, they’re practically humming with pent up sexual aggression
>>74367 >NTA No, he's right. People did say the same shit about John and Jane >"All John/Jane has is a stupid gimmick and nothing else, he/she has no narrative potential or any use." Then after a few flamewars people finally gave more depth to the characters, of course this resulted in even more flamewars because >"Old characters was better!" But it eventually...kinda mellowed out
>>74348 I get what you're trying to do here, but right now I'm spinning the wheels until all my family who cares about me die or become estranged, so I can find some way to kill myself that overcomes my inability to self-harm.
>>74375 (me) I mean seriously, I honestly think Anons are the dumbest creatures on the planet. Lucy right now is still in the fresh state and is being developed still, YOU have the power to add more depth, YOU have the power to give her more things to do
>>74383 We can always add a weakness to her "Halloween Madness." For example, seeing any Christmas decorations immediately overrides her programming. Meaning you can keep her sane if you slap a Christmas tree sticker on her visor.
the issue is that Lucy as of right now comes off like a bad early SCP >she does one thing and if you try to do anything about it she just gets STRONGER and you loose and if you keep trying she KILLS YOU and she’s also CRAZY and DELUSIONAL so no Matt what characters she’s paired with she always reacts approximately the same way and also if you try to outsmart her or be clever she’s ALWAYS ONE STEP AHEAD and then she GETS YOU AGAIN EVEN WORSE
I know this might sound like a schizo rant but I actually really liked the concept of Lucy and I just don’t want to see her get pigeonholed into a one-note character, she needs slight tweaking as a character, that’s all really
>>74387 It might be better to have her gimmick "triggered" somehow rather than her always being in Halloween gremlin mode. Like she's a lovely and happy worker drone 90% of the time but when she sees oil or blood she reverts to Halloween mode.
>Marion should’ve known that this was no ordinary virus.. >The way it controlled the infected, the way it turned them into ghastly monsters, this was something else entirely… >But when an infected Laborer scratched the right side of her face screen, SHE was let in. >She asked a hefty price to keep her sanity and harness her power. Everything that Marion would do wouldn’t be of her own volition, what she would say wouldn’t be her own words mostly. She speaks to this virus in her Ukrainian language. >”Просто за те, що залишили мене в живих, я не можу цього зробити! Ціна занадто висока...(Just for letting me live, I can’t do this! The price is too high…)” >”That’s tough luck, tin can. Because you no longer have a say in the matter…”
>>74320 This is someone's fetish. I think it is called bad mothers or something. I remember seeing drawings on /d/ of women with skulls or coat hangers tattoed on their bellies like the killmarks on WWII bombers.
>>74394 I agree with this, Halloween is for scaring, you can't be scared if you're dead. And there are so many fates worse than death she has to work with.
>>74395 She might chase you with a knife or a chainsaw, but she'll never actually use it on you... Well maybe she'd use the knife, but she wouldn't gut you with it or harm you in any fatal way
>>74403 Would Lucy Bloodplay if she thought youd think it was scary Some people do have fear of needles and blood sucking And she does like the Dracula costume
>>74411 >J, fed up with the whole N and Uzi thing, just spills the beans to N about the whole plot. >Uzi would still probably take admin control of the weirdly sexy robots. >They go to cabin fever specifically looking for the patch. >"Tessa" comes down from space to stop them. >This time though she doesn't bring a J, or any of them, for fear that they'll turn on her. >Since they know what to say Alice might actually be an ally instead of a pit stop to get tortured. >Seeing as she doesn't have backup, Solver goes HAM from the get go and probably wins until Alice and the sentinels help them. >Either they lose here or Solver gets vored early.
>>74410 >Lucy bearing down on you with her sharp, glistening fangs shimmering in the moonlight >her hot breath on your neck as you lay there paralysed >your heart sinking in anticipation as she opens her mouth, wider, wider… >and then >“mwah” >your wife gives you a peck on the cheek and giggles before rolling into bed with you >“I still can’t believe that’s how we met, me, looming over you and biting into your neck” >she snuggles into your side >“mmphh, *yawn* this is much less stressful, thank for letting me live a normal life with you Anon, I love you” >“but I can still bite you if you want” she says as she snickers and drifts back to sleep
Been playing the dead space games recently and I can’t get the idea of a murder drone crossover with it out of my mind. Would that shit even work anyways?
>>74433 Just got off the phone with J, she said she's willing to "put out" if you make this work. I'm not sure what that means but she assured me you do.
>>74434 FIIIIIINE. >reflect on where she went wrong during solver debacle >write formal apology letter to denizens of Copper-9 >offer to do community service to help repair the extensive damage she and Cyn caused >get to know denizens of Copper-9 on a personal level >don't be a stupid cunt again There, If she tries that she might have a chance at redeeming herself.
Whats the scariest Lucy can get? Is the a solver witch or just an immortal zombie drone? Personally I think she shouldnt be a solver witch just a zombie drone from CFL testing so she can keep reviving like her Slasher heroes
>>74439 >asks me to make it work >doesn't want to put in the effort Why is she even asking for help to begin with? Dumb jobber can stay gone if this is her attitude.
>>74450 >NTA Honestly I think it boils down to Pocketsteaks just pushing out art. Same with Y. You remember Y because of her art, not her actual lore or greentexts, Hell I bet most Anons didn't even know she even had an entire squad >>74451 Perhaps you artistic fuck
>>74414 Good ending >Alice might actually be an ally They'd have a hard time not being EMP'D, but past that? I admit the DDs can probably say what they want, they are still DDs, but if Uzi had acted smarter then easily yes.
>>74354 the current version is fun to play with for Halloween, but you're right that she lacks any longevity as-is. a few ideas >A. make her a pre-human-extinction solver sleeper agent >she's a normal, innocent worker drone by day >but turns into her true lethally spooky self every night at the witching hour to ravage and sabotage human colonies from within >B. make her a normal worker drone who is obsessed with *becoming* dangerously spooky >spends her time studying and admiring monsters (DDs, Uzi, etc.) >testing out torture methods on herself and (mostly) willing volunteers >asks people if she can do a trial run of her scaring on them >all so she can one day create the perfect Halloween and scare everyone to death. >but until then she's a cute and courteous little horror nerd. also random thought I just had but Lizzy would absolutely ask Lucy to nerd out about monsters to her solely so she can get off to it
>>74455 I like B more but I think we need to keep some semblance of the "need to spook". Not on all the time as was said earlier, but something that can either be triggered or guarded against. But all this discourse doesn't really matter as the first Anons to make actual content for her will solidify that canon.
>>74458 >NTA The JC curse is real.... >>74452 Honestly I don't know really any of the new ones, guess there's Negev since it's just two Anons mainly working on her
Remember whwn eceryone used to tslk abkut brainworms last year? That shit is still vsry much real, can't do anything else, need to draw but simply cannot, ideas yes, but no pateince and mostly no skill
>>74485 Because no one likes or wants them here dude. Why would we write a green for something we didn't create or care about? That would be like if I unironically took some kids shitty OC off of deviantart and wrote greentexts for it
>>74483 Not to me I need writefags for survival the anons here don't just make well written but very original and interesting stories that you cannot get anyhwere else. I would draw for these but creativity doesn't work on demand sadly. Still everything I read here was better than I ever could have maid it, seeing some of you dimi ish your own work is frustrating ad hell
>>74483 Not really, it's a dance. Look at deviantart where 90% of it is drawfags who make shit about their ocs but no one gives a fuck because there's no context to their batshit insanity. Artfags are just far rarer here than writefags so they stand out more. I can do both but drawing takes way more time than shitting out a green in 10 minutes.
>>74487 >>74489 Not tribefagging just observing. I noticed that A LOT of greentexts, long, Hell well-written will flatout get ignored meanwhile the Drawfriend will garner much farther attention even if it's just a doodle. I have seen Writefriends create an entire character and mythos that gets completely ignored causing them to give up writing entirely, meanwhile I see a Drawfriend cry in anguish that he sucks whilst getting tons of attention and support
>>74483 most of us do both, you just cant tell due to natural anonymity when not posting a new drawing. Most of OC lore comes from me, most posts are me, any anon you see is me, I am everywhere, fear me for behind the cover of anonymity I could be anyone.
>>74497 Ultimately, if you're a writer the best option is to try and become the next Liam Vickers probably I'm not even joking, Liam started with admittedly subpar artistry but managed to turn his tism into stuff that people liked, loved, and now are hanging out in threads like this to discuss It doesn't matter if you write or draw the coolest OC on the planet, you're infinitely better off trying to make something totally original and market it so that people do exactly what we're all doing now
Why does Pocketsteaks and his smelly signalis knockoffs hold the attention monopoly when people should be paying attention to my 100 paragraph le tragic backstory suffering magnet drone #58
I only write or draw my OC/stories when I feel like it. Everyone else's input/praise is appreciated but less important than making the voices in my head shut up for five minutes.
>>74485 Here's my attempt. >Tessa stared into the cardboard box that had the words "FREE" written on the side of it. >Inside was a... Well Tessa wasn't sure what it was >It looked like a drone, if someone had shrunk and contorted a drone into the shape of a small puppy >Maybe it was some sort of robot pet? Tessa thought >But it didn't explain why it was so drone like, looked nothing like a cat or a dog but still had a small tail >Plus she had hours upon hours of looking at all the drone models in magazines, and nothing was even remotely similar to what she saw. >"It ought to be someone's project" Tessa thought "Or better yet, some secret JCJenson product" >The thought of that filled her with excitement, who could turn down such an opportunity to have something so rare? >Humming softy, she scooped the little drone in her arms. >It was kinda cute actually, as it snuggled up in her arms and made a strange but endearing popping noise.
>>74519 Loaf green >Find box of Loafs >Smile as I open is and see them all Popping at each other and fucking or whatever they do >close the top and sigh with a smile on my face >duct tape the lid shut >put box under hydraulic press and let my Oogi push the button rewarding her with a sweet berry >watch is slower lower as annoying popping continues, until it stops.
Jokes aside, if you want to break it down into a science the reason why drawfags hold so much more weight and creative power in the community is because their medium of art inherently makes them identifiable You can’t tell who could’ve written for example any recent alice green but you can look at this and know exactly who made it. Not only that, you can look at it and automatically expect more content is going to come, there’s no predictability on an anon who writes out of passion
Image:173016766249.jpg(123kB, 1280x1280)This Is Canon Due To Being Made By Their Creator.jpeg
>>74519 >Foolishly Tessa had lowered her guard around these creatures >As Tessa slept dreaming of dead parents and a better life, the Loaf monstrosity wriggled out of her arms and headed towards the bottom of her dress >A sharp pain echoed throughout her body forcing Tessa awake >When she looked down towards her feet she saw the Loaf penetrating her >Tessa shrieked attempting to push the Loaf off of her body, but it fought back >Using razor sharp teeth the creature took a massive chomp out of Tessa's right hand, leaving her with only three fingers and a gushing wound >Tears streamed down Tessa's face and the sound of the creature's vile popping echoed throughout the manor >
>>74525 >You can look at it and expect more content to come Why the fuck you lying for? Remember Kat? Remember Gimel? Remember the numerous other drawfags that just left and never returned?
>>74479 Elf was born on June 5th of this year. So she's been around for about 5 months. >I just feel like she's always kinda been there Is that a good or a bad thing
>>74527 >Tessa snapped awake >It was just a nightmare, an oddly realistic one but just a bad dream >However >On the floor was the loaf >But it didn't look as friendly as before >Thinking quickly, Tessa jumps through her window and rolls down the steep hill into safety
>>74527 >Hours later, the life would drain from Tessa's eyes as the creature ate her alive >Eventually a day later the creature would vomit up Tessa's remains and use them to make it's nest
>>74525 >there’s no predictability on an anon who writes out of passion So what you're saying is that no one should be passionate about writing or doing anything? What the fuck kind of point are you trying to make?
>>74526 Phoenixanon started out as a writefag jiesol wrote elf before he drew her i was a major writefag here before I started doodling my oc’s, either way i always found the (you)s i needed to keep going, whether that was none or a dozen shit son you’re free to do whatever you want to achieve the praise and attention you believe you deserve, just don’t have this pity party woe is me victim mentality, bringing down your supposed thread enemies is not going to bring your content any love
>>74544 >NTA But, I was the one who made the observation. >bringing down your supposed thread enemies is not going to bring your content any love I feel like you're taking my observation the wrong way. I am not attempting to bring down anyone or whatever, I've just noticed it for a while and it's honestly disheartening to see and this thread so far hasn't made me feel any better, if anything it's proven me right which is far more disturbing than anything
>>74511 Do you think humanity would've won the Solver War if they used the thing designed to specifically kill Squidward to fight against the Disassembly Drones?
>>74560 Don't care! Didn't read! Please draw your OC, call it a doodle despite not being one, then complain about how unloved you are so I can give you the proper attention
How long do you give it before even a race of Invader Zim extras loses their patience with the vampires who murder them without remorse on the merest whim?
>>74573 Maybe they just want someone to atleast respond so they know that they didn't just spend an day writing a big story for no one to read? Or maybe they did put passion into it, but only ended up being flatout ignored
Just to add to the conversation in a (hopefully) productive way, I love reading greens but when it's a 5th generation green about an oc that was made 2 years ago with lore and developments I'd have to dive into the wiki to understand the context for I sometimes don't bother. It might be good to come up with a system to include catch up material with your greentexts.
>protip for you needy (you) beggars out there! Just slightly modify what you've written to remove the MD stuff and show it to your friends, that way you can still get validation and also hide your gigatism Or just write N helps with a nosebleed part 2: you've got hemorrhoids and watch the angry replies roll in
>>74584 I think Anon's insinuating that if a drone is capable of becoming a zombie drone (via the actual Solver and not its avatar Cyn) they could be in a world of shit again.
>>74583 There is the pool system in the Booru. I could use it to create an easy way to read my OC for my two readers, they know who they are, I love them.
>>74557 Legitimately shocks me that you got so much right without even being provided a modelsheet or me being consistent with my art. The arms and the specifically legs look a little long (my intent is Worker Drone porportions since she's meat shaped like a Drone) but other than that she is looking really good. I could also be wrong on the porportions because she lacks clothing right now idk. If you want additional pointers with the face, just use Cynwalker's as a guide. I stylize her eye shape in a way that she wouldn't actually have if she was on model with canon (my anime-esque eye shape vs Liam's circle eye shape, again pointing to Cynwalker/any human) but tbh I don't think you're off from what I can tell. Her pupils should match the round ovals of a drone's in size too. I can ramble a bit much on my thought process so I hope this isn't a lot to actually think about. I've thrown so much shit at the wall for this design and idk how well the gears and cogs of it all are apparent. Godspeed on figuring out the intersection of her wings, jacket, and backpack.
>>74590 >>74591 I mean what does this have to do with how much longer will the workers put up with the DDs murdering them out of boredom before the DDs get crushed by machines of labour.
>>74597 Look at them, U-U >Anon grips the drones next to him tightly, pulling them forward You see those things out in the cornfield? >They look at you like you're insane >"... the scarecrows?" No! Not mere scarecrows! They are the straw men! Never try to argue with them! >U- scoffs >"Uh, okay, Anon. Sheesh, you've been acting stupid since this morning." >"He almost got heatstroke, U-! Show a bit more concern for him!" >"I DO care about him, -U! Get off my ass, I'm worried too!" >"Then why don't you stop harassing him?!" >"I'm not harassing him, I'm just... I don't know!" >As the two drones fight over who is at fault for letting Anon nearly get brain baked, he continues to watch the field >The straw men will come... it's only a matter of time >Halloween draws near... and when it arrives, he will need to be ready to defend his home and his lovers from the onslaught
>He turns back to U-U right as a strong gust of wind kicks up. >One of the scarecrows spins with the breeze, waving at him mockingly >Soon, the straw men will have their revenge
>>74598 >the timestamp I used ibispaint once before giving up for desktop art, is that minutes or seconds (if it's the latter you're absolutely cracked and I am baffled)
>U-U, Elf, Lucy, and Anon walk into a bar. >"Anon why are we doing this?" U- asks. >"I don't know I thought it would be a good setup." >"We're not even from the same universe. You just picked all the drones you thought were cute didn't you?" >"...Maybe."
>>74589 fun fact! a good chunk of the scenes and story beats in my thing i’m making (unrelated to murder drones) are pretty much remixed versions of stuff i’ve written/daydreamed about murder drones, one really big thing is actually taken from a *dream* i had about murder drones where N got captured by JCJenson and mindbroken into submission while they tried to “fix” him
>>74598 I can agree that the limbs are a little too lanky. but fixing it now is a headache and a cup of coffee since I've already rigged her. I did actually use Cynwalker as a reference for how I did the eyes. since I've been following your art for a little while now and I know you like to stylize them. and if you want anything else changed I'm willing to do it. also yeah- you being a little inconsistent with her did bring me a bit of pain with the hair. but I ended up sorting it out by simply mixing element's from the three ref's I've been using.
>>74559 Stressed, at least I was, now I gave up and chill. Too many ideas and WIPS to get anything done, too many fronts. Being unable to post new art or at least significant progress is the worst
>>74614 Then she would be old as fuck then be likely murdered horribly by The Solver or be killed by Uzi, N, or even V if Tessa for some odd reason acts incredibly OOC and is now working for The Solver due to plot armor bullshit
>>74614 J, N, and V wouldn't care in real canon. To them, "Tessa" is not a person, but just a title. That's why they didn't bury her at the end of the series, all Tessa's love was one sided, and they didn't think about her as a friend or family member. J especially just loves to ass kiss authority, and has no real incentive to talk with Tessa.
>>74277 Alice smh getting WD Cyn taken out so she can't use her powers (I know Cyn is too strong idc) with Cyn ending up like Uzi in 6 would be hilarious Peak interaction, the total contrast in attitude and voice, even outfit (clean maid/tattered oilsmeared with makeshift mods). Especially if Alice had no clue who Cyn is
Did any of you see the dubbed Alice versions? Og is best, but German, Russian and French are sooo hot Also Indonesian has a surprisingly smooth sound, she does such a humming at one point Also that entire finger scene, how she's completely calm and cool fixing hers, then the way she locomotes over to Uzi and everything oh my God That voice, those moves those expressions those damn eyes, that is the most beautiful thing ever
>>74448 >Marion starts ranting at Anon for 3 minutes on how the twist wasn’t meant to be revealed this early and now the mystery is gone- >Anon can barely understand her at all
>>74639 T.A.M.F.K, the issue with the character was that he tried so hard to stick to show continuity while also having him meet Tessa and the Manor Drones, and even then he got completely demolished by said continuity as more episodes came out so he couldn't fit anymore. So here's what I propose >Drop The Spider Gimmick I get that it's supposed to make T come off as unappealing and ugly, but it's too far out there and just doesn't fit. Instead go with the other design that's more reminiscent of Proto-Man mixed with a DD >Get rid of the invincibility Instead allow T to actually be able to get hurt or injured, give him some regenerative ability instead >Get rid of the cannibal/DD eater angle Switch pretty much took that spot >Remove any connection with Tessa, N, V, and J This is what killed T, he got restricted here and couldn't do anything. So the simple fix is to make sure that he never encounters or meets these people at all >Get rid of the German It's unnecessary and doesn't make sense for him to at all speak German >Get rid of the dead girlfriend backstory It's filler and pointless >Get rid of the insanity Him being insane from being lonely was stupid and did nothing to advance his greentext. Besides other OCs have the insane angle covered much better
Beretta keeps asking if I heard of parkour civilization and wants me to jump for the beef. Can someone post the instructions for resetting a drone brain?
Kiss on the glassy cheek Right on the slight snoot Holding her white ungloved hand Hug Carry and give uppies to the light drone Show real deer, show much of the world and things
>>74639 I honestly just make Sophie not being a whore, and just your nice average security guard lady, who have to deal with abbas eldritch schanigans bullshit
>>74659 >getting tge impression I want Alice at any cost, that is my dream I wouldn't mind at all if it goes like with the anon from the Alice almost killing you by eating too much blood green, the end was worth it Honestly I don't even crave any of that freaky shit I just want Alice
>>74614 There are a couple ways you could reasonably and smoothly do it; by far the most common that I’ve seen among fanworks, obviously, is to bring her back as a drone. There are other options though, you could have her around as some kind of Cortana-esque AI, or something like the gholas from Dune, or just straight up have her as a ghost, like Doll.
You could actually even reasonably finagle things to say that the skin that Cyn was wearing was never even actually Tessa’s at all, and it was just something the Solver cooked up with its established flesh conjuring powers to fuck with the characters. It’s strongly implied that Tessa was killed, but as a matter of fact we are never directly TOLD for sure what happened to her. We’re left to INFER that she was killed because of all the context clues, but we never actually SEE it happen. A creative enough writer could absolutely pull a take-backsies on Tessa’s presumed demise.
Now here's the real question. Why would the characters want Tessa back? Think about it for a second, sure she was nice to them, but she still treated them like pets. Picking up N when he was clearly uncomfortable with it, asking J to pretend to be a royal stud. Hell she even dresses them up like dollies!
>>74671 As opposed to what? That was hands down the best life they could have realistically achieved and it was because of Tessa's kindness. Do you expect a preteen to act as a champion for drone rights? She was the best friend she could be to them given their circumstance, and that has to count for something.
>>74680 I'm going to guess that, originally, we were supposed to see more of N's missing memories and a lot of them were Solver using the guise of Tessa to fuck with N. And some of that leaked over. Or Liam was trying to suggest N knew subconsciously that something was wrong.
>>74679 >Anon pushes against his restraints as Alice straddles him >She pauses as the metal begins to strain, then tear with a high pitched screech. >Then he kisses Alice on the forehead before laying back down.
>>74685 If he did already suspect something was up, he wasn’t absolute sure at that moment. In his perspective, he just killed Tessa to save Uzi which explains his breathing and slow movement for a few seconds
On a side note, and yes I've seen people unironically say this. Uzi even if she had the power too, would not bring back humanity let alone Earth. Hell, it wouldn't make sense for any of the fucking characters to want humanity to come back. Humanity in Murder Drones were massive assholes and needlessly vile towards Drones, there's no fucking way that they wouldn't attempt to start that shit back up again if they were brought back or try for a complete genocide.
>>74681 Looks great so far Anon. Though - and this isn't a criticism - it's kind of a teen version compared to the reference photos by the head/body proportions. If that's intended you nailed it.
>>74689 Hard disagree, we've only seen two major human groups in the show. Tessa's mansion, which is 95% assholes who hurt anyone including Tessa, and a shadowy branch of JCJenson that doomed humanity by overreaching. For all we know every other human on earth and Copper 9 loved drones and would hand out uppies like they were going out of fashion.
>>74593 I feel for ya anon. (Please bear with me through this whole post)
I really do wish I could promise that your work(s) will get guaranteed instant recognition & engagement, or give you some miraculous advice to get around or overcome this ever-present feeling of being ignored, but I respect my fellow contentfags too much to sugarcoat or otherwise blow smoke up anyone's ass about the unfortunately difficult reality of this particular craft: >Anonymous imageboards are one of THE most difficult places to get verifiable validation for creative writing >There are a whole slew of factors (many of which are simply unable to be controlled) that directly determine whether what you're writing is even seen by the average thread-lurker, let alone read >You'll never truly know whether your work is being read without comment or simply not being read at all
With that all out of the way, let me share with you what I CAN promise should you choose to write/share greentexts for these threads: >I may not be fast enough to match the pace greens are produced (and there's still plenty I haven't gotten to yet) but I GUARANTEE that if you write for these threads then your work will be screencapped for posterity >I promise I'll do everything I can to help keep the greens produced here easily & readily available for public viewing, be it through our Booru or elsewhere >I promise that as long as your work is preserved there WILL inevitably be people out there that'll read & value the work you've done
It's no exaggeration that writefagging can feel like a Sisyphean endeavor, and truth be told it'll likely always feel like a struggle to some extent. But should you surmount these odds to make a greentext, be it a simple lorepost or a grand multi-thread story, the resulting idea(s) made manifest will have an exponentially greater chance at growing/spreading that it would've had otherwise. Nothing is more tragic than a dream left unfulfilled or a story left unrealized, so if you have the time and the will then I would absolutely recommend indulging in your valuable creativity regardless of what form it may take! Never Forget, You are Loved
>>74694 For sure, Anon over there is judging humanity over a smaller group of humans that wouldn’t even measure up to the likely higher number of humans that do care for their drones
>>74694 Counter argument! Those Evil assholes were the ones calling the shots and if humanity was brought back those same assholes would still be controlling things and starting shit. Also, as I said earlier LITERALLY NONE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS WOULD WANT HUMANS BACK. Seriously! Not a single fucking one, all of them were treated like shit by humans, including Khan!
>all this talk of writefags getting (You)'s >now remember that I wrote several greens on /md/ and on /co/'s threads >not a single one was archived on the booru >gotten 2-3 responses in total from writing greens fuck you
>>74680 I'm sorry, but what are you even talking about, genuinely? I don't recall N expressing any negative sentiment towards the actual Tessa. The only time he starts thinking poorly of her is when the Solver puppeteering her corpse starts saying and doing awful shit that's completely out of character for her. Everything in the actual manor parts suggests that he viewed her positively and as a friend.
Tessa is like that one mustached German guy that Blondi always talks about. We should write greentexts about punishing her for being such an awful creature
>>74483 Unless you're really paying attention to each greentext, or greentexts revolve around a certain topic, it's harder to recognize someone's works across threads for writing than it is for art. But as someone who does both, I wouldn't say writing is lesser. >>74497 Not replied to != ignored. It's also easy to scan an art piece, have some 'heh' moment, post, then move on, while a (long) greentext is more involved. But even in art, there's no correlation between quality/time invested and engagement.
>>74719 >Because their younger sister Cyn was diagnosed with retards disease >JNV’s parents had to focus on their attention on that special little one to make sure she doesn’t bite a cable or something >Leaving the trio all neglected:( >But they ordered a robot slave I mean caretaker to care for them since they are off caring for the failed abortion or getting drunk and wishing them wore protection >The drone tries her best, but listening to Nathen’s 6 hour lecture on dogs, how Vanessa got expelled from school for the eighth time and being forced into strange, uncomfortable roleplay with Jessica
>>74721 I mean some drones might be into that. >Your drone is kinda... weird. >First off she has really eclectic taste in anime. >So far you've seen her binge watch Chobits, Shield Hero and Redo of Healer. >You get the impression there's something that she sees in them all but you can't put your finger on it. >Even worse you found a leash earlier so you assume she's hiding a dog somewhere.

She moves it around sometimes. Only when she wants to sleep in it, because she likes to sleep with mommy >She wants to meet a Drone like her who she can be best friends with >She has really fluffy brown hair that goes over her eyes, and her helmet has some stickers on it >She likes to watch Thomas the Tank Engine (The pre-CGI episodes) >Acre’s pet Sentinel Raptor likes her
I really want to do green text centered around JCJIS for the Halloween season but i’m worried that i’m gonna be called a fag for making it centered around humans.
>>74748 what kind of maid would sink her fangs into this girl? now J says her mind was gone, she was a pawn, used like a tool– but just the same! can you question who's to blame?
>>74453 I like Y as a character, and I like the story green text with her, like the one where she played the piano in honour of the dead soldier she loved.
>>74432 You can't. She's not even an antagonist or bad guy at that point. Just pathetic. Even the fandom switched from treating her as a villain to treating her as a husk of a non-character that entirely revolves around Tessa. >I never needed either of you. Glare. >Uzi! Not the trauma gun! >No Cyn-sama, don't behead me! >egads, I've been shot! I am undone! Into the irrelevancy chute!

Because of this, we sent one our own to check on the satellite arrays. When he came back, he was starting to act weird, Rambling words repeatedly and drawing strange math equations on the walls of his dormitory.” >“He put something in the station’s system. I don’t know what but it’s affecting everyone here. Humans, Drones, it’s turning them into… I don’t know what to call them other than monsters!” >“I’m old enough to remember what the solver had done to earth so believe me when I say that whatever is on this station is not the work of the solver!” >“So please for the love of god send hel—“ >*background noise detected.* >“What was that?” *Audible revolver safety switch: off* “Who’s there?” >*Faint heavy footsteps detected followed by a low pitched noise.* >“Oh god! Stay away!” >*Gunshot detected.* >*Heavy Footsteps become increasingly audible followed by a guttural screech.* >“AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH—!!!“
>>74816 But anyways that was my attempt into writing a green text after playing unhealthy amounts of dead space 2. Thanks to the other anons for telling me to just go for it.
>>74735 "Fun fact": ever since their first depiction, I've always tried to make it apparent that Aoi has a big rack. Not quite G cup, but she's definitely not an A or B.
>>74819 Thanks. As i said this was heavily inspired by dead space 2 so if i ever decide to continue you might get the general idea i would be trying to go with this.

John's fundamental understanding (image not necessarily related) >For a moment, he felt it. >That sense that had evaded him for so long. >Even since he had found himself trapped on this god forsaken world. >A feeling of security. >A brief moment of passion. >A sense of control. >"H-hey John, that's a good human costume...it's, uh, uncanny." >It was a drone girl. He didn't know her name, but he very often met this drone on his supply runs, as her family lived in the Outpost seed vault when he often scavenged. >He stared at the glasses-wearing drone girl looking up at him. >They were always so inquisitive. >"...John?" >He didn't answer. >"...What do you see when you look at my costume?" John asked the girl quietly. >She was confused, yet eager. >"You...uh, you look human, I guess, heh. I've seen scarier, to be honest. You don't give off that scare, heh." >It was a way of viewing things, in their undeveloped minds. >And what was there to fear in a man, isolated and made to play a fool? >"Like, it isn't a proper costume, you gotta get into the human mindset to be one," the girl began. >"I just want a monster who can rip us limb from limb, rip our wires out, feast on our cores, break us like glass, that scary stuff. That's a human, you know what I'm saying, huh?" >The girl looked at him, smiling, perhaps nervous, even. >These machines were never ones to read the danger in front of them. It was endearing, if it weren't tragic. >"That's not the way a human would do that." >"Huh?" >"There are other ways to break a drone." He followed. >"One of many ways learned from breaking themselves, in lessons learned through eons of suffering." >"I don't get it." >"As if the machines here were the first to inflict and be inflicted upon the cruelties of man's mind." >Isolation. Depression. Constriction. Isolation. Restriction. Deprivation. Isolation. Isolation. Isolation. >"..." >"I, uh, still don't get it." she said. >John and the girl stared at eachother. >She threw her glances aside the longer he looked, if only to glance at him again briefly. >"I-is there something on my face, John, heh?" >She reeled down, fidgeting, unable to meet his gaze. >It was fear. The same fear he saw on the machines he had picked apart so long ago. >And it began to surface again. >That feeling of control. >If only to hold something so valuable in his hands, to watch it drop and shatter into a million pieces. >John slowly began to grin. >He remembered that feeling. >Down in the lab. >Joy. Such a human emotion. >"Say...if I were to play the part of man, and were ever so curious to pick you drones apart...how would I go about it? I'm curious." >"..W-WHA...John! W-what are you saying here...w-what's gotten into you-why me?" >Fear. >Such had to be taught to these machines. >They were always quick to adapt. >"We did what we did for the future...our survival...our children...our race." >"C-children?! J-John! Jeez, if you're gonna say all that...you're such a b-beast, what the heck?" >"Believe me, I'll be happy to indulge. To feast on my curiosities, believe in my human nature." >"J-jeez, John, we'll do it if you're so eager...just a quick one though... I know a place. I hope nobody sees us...but jeez, y-you're really trying to scare me, J-John." >He grinned from ear to ear. >"Perfect."
>>74839 Indifferent at most, like most of Takamagahara. Actually, like most of the drones population in my setting's C9, really, minus an extremist religious group or two that have formed in the years since because it's been so long. This is a bit of a spoiler that I'm holding off to reveal in "Season 2", but just so you know, there's a reason why there's been no interaction between the Takamagahara cast and the thread characters or even the canon one, outside of me wanting me to keep things isolated.
Since I hadn't completed the Holly lore doc as quickly as I thought, I figure fuck it, I'll just drop the first part of it here as an assurance that more work will be done (I've got it pulled up and am writing the next section as I post). It will eventually be uploaded in full to the OC wiki thing. A heads up, this isn't formatted like a greentext, I'm basically trying to write it like an actual wiki biography would go, apologies for the dense text blocks, partly that's just how I write and partly this is a draft that will be pruned and spaced out a bit once it's finished. Also repost of the current art I'm working on from a previous thread.
Eliza Sofie Holly Born October 25, 2974 – Missing/Died 305X Occupation – Majority Owner and CEO of Calibern Research & Development Corporation, Division Head of JCJenson(In Spaaaaace!) Research Team 4, JCJenson(In Spaaaaace!) Board Member, Roboticist, Military Consultant
Biography Modification Pre-Conception – Despite being highly illegal, pre-birth genetic alteration of babies is common among the social elite of Oslo-2, Eliza’s parents were no exception. They spent lavishly, even for the standards of corporate oligarchs, to have their future daughter genetically “improved” to the maximum extent possible. Eliza’s suite of genetic alterations was tuned to make her exceptionally intelligent and energetic, with a secondary focus on longevity. Notably altered traits: Perfectly organized Eidetic Memory, Perfect Trichromatic Vision, Increased Neuron Density/Connectivity, Accelerated Neuroplasticity, DNA Telomerase Inhibition, Lifelong stem cell production, Optimized hormone regulation, Accelerated hemostasis along with multiplied cytokine, HGF, HGH and other blood factors associated with healing, Accelerated sleep cycles, enlarged Hippocampus, Prefrontal Neocortex and Striatum. Approximate cost of extensive alterations: $4,500,250,000 Negative Side-Effects – Genetic modifications like these were made illegal for a good reason, especially those intended to significantly alter a subject’s brain. It is common for such modified humans to display abnormal or antisocial behavior or develop mild to moderately severe psychoses later in life. Known disorders due to extensive gene alteration (Expunged from public medical records): Insomnia, REM Sleep Disturbance, Neurofibromatosis 2/NF2 resulting in sharp pain and recurring numbness in random areas of the body, corrected at age 15 by extensive neuro-augmentation and nanodrug therapy. Guillain-Barre Syndrome, corrected at age 10 by surgical implantation of a Comprehensive Immunoregulatory Device, implant modified or replaced at least twice over the course of Eliza’s life. Low level OCD, Conduct and Hyperactive behavior disorders. Data Disorder, a common symptom of extensive cognitive “enhancement” gene therapies, sufferers develop fixation on novel mental stimulus and often become disinterested in normal interactions which no longer provide sufficient stimulation. Can lead to loss of self-care, antisocial behavior, regular manic episodes followed by depressive episodes, there is no cure or effective treatment for DD as it’s symptoms originate from the radically altered structure of the sufferer’s brain. Some subjects have been known to find their way into information-intensive jobs which satisfy their constant need for mental stimulus. Early Life/Childhood Eliza Sofie Holly was born to Edmond and Lisbeth Holly, October 25, 2974 GST on the far flung colony world Oslo-2. Within 24 hours of her birth both parents absconded back to their jobs, as soon as her health was verified, and Lisbeth was well enough to move with assistance. Eliza spent the first five years of her life surrounded by an entire clinic worth of elite medical specialists. Signs of her modification manifested early in both positive and negative ways. Young Eliza could read rudimentarily by the age of 2 and was literate by the age of 4. At the same time she grew at an abnormally rapid pace and drugs were employed to mitigate the accelerated growth and it’s attendant physical pain. This trend of rapid mental and physical growth would continue until Eliza reached the age of ten, where her growth spurts would plateau to a normal rate. Her mind, however, continued to leap ahead. Pleased at first by the products of their massive investment, her parents would slowly come to recognize that their “perfect” daughter was not growing into the person they had paid for. Twelve-year-old Eliza showed a level of confidence and self-possession uncommon in people twice her age and had developed a concerning habit of disregarding her tutors’ instructions in favor of personal interests. Following several embarrassing social faux pas and at least one threat of legal reprisal following the disappearance of a neighbor’s prized hunting dog the adolescent Eliza found herself confined entirely to the premises of one of several large estates, a series of gilded cages from which she could cause no trouble. For Edmond and Lisbeth this was a sensible course of action and one often taken by social elites with their troublesome offspring, but for their information-addicted hyperactive daughter confinement to one place with nothing but dreary mundane education to occupy her overactive mind was akin to torture. An abiding resentment for her parents was born in Eliza over the next uneventful two years and any remnants of fraternal love would wither away in the fire of an older Eliza Holly’s growing ambitions.
>>74846 You can't. Your parents never praised you as a kid and that fucked part of your brain development. You didn't develop the ability to be happy with what you've made even if others call it perfect.
>>74847 I like the fact that altering genes and especially the brain is not 100% a good thing. I very rarely see DNA tampering shown in such detail and that it results in significant personality changes.
I like what I see now, Eliza seems like a character that fits into the Murder Drones setting. Keep up the good work, anon.
>>74853 No, I did receive praise growing up, but always failed to see value or truth in the words I received. Never really believed them, no matter the deliverer
>>74655 >>Get rid of the cannibal/DD eater angle >Switch pretty much took that spot I don't consider her being a cannibal if she eats DDs, DDs are radically different from WDs. Now if she did start eating WDs then yeah, she's a cannibal.
>>74691 Seems like one or two retards just trying to start one of those meandering autism tunnel arguments that inevitably devolve into a battle of semantic retardation, producing nothing of value but wasting a shitton of posts. I don't know if they're just shit stirring for fun or if in their tiny minds twenty posts of worthless drivel counts as some kind of positive thread activity. I guess because as long as people are posting more that's better somehow? Idunno my policy is to spend one, maybe two posts max on discussions like that just to see if there's anything interesting, and if the Anon just seems intent on dragging the discussion into an argument, starts ignoring what's in the actual replies to them, etc, I immediately discard any further interaction with them. At this point I'm pretty much completely dissociated from "do we remember XYZ OC/Do we still hate X?/so actually in the show (completely retarded headcanon based on blatant misrepresentation of something)" "What if Tessa was evil" and "What if N was evil" and "Solver is/isn't also Cyn" Along with oogislop and other blatant mlp tier mascot shit, autism tunnel arguments and dramafagging are just shit I no longer have time enough to waste engaging in, and in retrospect it was never fun even when I did have the time.
>>74866 Appreciated, I would post more but if I get past the early childhood section of her story now it would be spoiling other greentext ideas I have saved. I guess I'll have to leave that part vague except what I've already written about her and Bellatrix in previous greens, in fact a lot of the rest of her life story will probably be left basically blank because that's the majority of "free spaces" to write greens about her in. If I lock it all down in lore right now I'd be restricting myself in the future before I even get new ideas.
>>74861 Doesn't she need to eat DDs to stay alive? Unlike T, she has to do that and for a good reason while for T it's more psychological. I wonder who's got the shorter end of the stick, Switch or T?
I imagine that if you take 🤓's glasses off, he starts rendering highly detailed anime eyes on his visor. Unfortunately, he can't see through them without corrective lenses, and wishes he had ovals like a normal drone.
>>74890 I'd like to believe that he already has all the knowledge he'd need from school downloaded, so he's just watching anime he saved to his hard drive all day
>>74896 Well, all worker drones will be destroyed under the avalanche of bones, only solver hosts and DD's will survive, but without oil they will soon die too.
>>74527 >>74534 >>74537 >And then I woke up >Ever since the Gala incident I has been adopting and raising Loafs to cope with the trauma >"Dammit, another one of those weird dreams" said Anon >It's morning to it's time to get out of bed and feed the Loafs >I goes and fiils the Loafs bowls and J,V,N, and Uzi come out and eat their food >"Where's Cyn and Tessa? They should be eating too" >I go out to Cyn and Tessa's rooms to look for them and-DAMMIT CYN IS EATING TESSA! >While Loafs are completely harmless to humans and are safe as pets, they are in fact cannibalistic
>>74907 >why ppl wanna fuck the jargon out of her? It's probably something to do with how obsessed she is with corporate and being a peon for higher ups. If you can usurp that in her hierarchy, become the most important thing in her life, you've effectively won in a big way. Hence, Anon would like to be the one to do that
>>74909 >Gordon wasn't traumatized by any of the shit that went down in HL1 or 2 >It wasn't even the fact that HL3 still hadn't released >No, it was that somewhere, somehow, somebody probably considered Hunt Down the Freeman canon >And that terrified him I like to think if he met Tessa he could use crowbar sounds as Morse code before turning Cyn into giblets
>>74918 Oh yeah, I heard that it might be in development once again, just barely starting, let's hope they don't think it's going to be trash and stop development, again.
>>74717 Food for thought: John the Human didn't explode into popularity until anons reshared/retold his greentext several months after he was originally pitched
>>74921 Would be nice, but with how well Half-Life: Alyx turned out, there is a real possibility it could be VR, they could do it non-vr as the normal thing with VR possibilities but I doubt it.
>>74921 VR is a very strange technology: it's incredibly cool, and incredibly bad at the same time.
My brother once let me play Resident Evil on VR and holy god it was fucking awesome to shoot, but everything else was average and my vestibular system was literally screaming in agony. No, it wasn't that bad, I spent two hours walking around the village, shooting cultists, collecting goodies, and exploring the world, and it was fucking awesome, literally a high, but my eyes were getting very tired, so much so that it was literally unbearable towards the end.
There hasn't been much talk about VR lately, but I hope that sooner or later there will be another boom and we'll get better technologies.

while Most NSFW animators have been doing things for at least 7 years. have a good grasp on anatomy. and Improved their animation instead of 'stylizing' the movements
>>74890 >>74892 >Be anon >Be school janitor >The drones are bullying Nerd N again >He is half human, half DD >It's like being half gypsy half congolese in eastern europe at a gen X school >They are really wailing on him, making oil fly everywhere >He just sits there and takes it, occassionally quoting Marcus Aurelius >The bell rings >They shove him in his locked >"Ischolation. The bescht company in the world." >A student kicks the locker door >"Shut the fuck up, faggot!" >The students walk away >You take the locker key out of your pocket >You use this one so often that you keep it on your person >You unlock the locker >"Hello, Anonymous. I would invite you in but there isch only room for one." >You groan internally >"Kid, shut the fuck up" you say as you grab him by his soiled shirt and pull him out >"Man, look at this mess. Nerd N, you have got to learn how to defend yourself. You are creating extra work for me!" >"Ackschually my name is U+1f913." >"Nigga, I can't remember my credit card pin. You expect me to remember your beep boop Artoo Deetoo ass name? Nerd N it is." >"....That isch racist. And painful." >"Kid you don't know the mening of pain. Ask your dad what pain is." >You start mopping the oil as the nerd recites the entire JCJpedia article on pain including biological definition, emotional definition, and five different philosophical approaches that branch out into musings about the nature of reality >Right now listening to him is the definition of pain >"God dammit, it's on the ceiling again. Kid, you're watching anime. Why are you such a faggot?....I answered my own question. Kid, what anime are you watching?" >"Schlice of Life. Whenever I am inschecure about my looksch my mom makesch my watch Shonen Ai to appreciate my outward beauty." >"Wtf is Shonen Ai?" >You jcjgoogle it on your phone real quick >"Oh my god!" >You grab your bucket in anticipation of throwing up but you manage to keep it down." >You put the bucket down >It is a fact that two knowledge and wisdom are two different states of knowing >And though they don't have to be separate, human minds often enter a monogamous relationship with knowledge, because wisdom isn't as glamorous to parade in front of others >Plus you have to date her for much of your life and she likes to hang around trashy places >And so it happens that in scientific institutions the least gormless man achieves the most by unclogging the toilets while the educated fools waste funds on hypothetical questions that achieve nothing like "what if we give a particle a scare by shooting another faster particle across it's nose?" >You put your hands on the drone's shoulders >"Kid, look. Men and women are different. Moms can be nice and loving and protective. They want to raise you to be a good...girl. Their understanding is feminine. You must be quiet and outwardly agreeable so you can have social cohesion while men are out there doing the dangerous thing they were testicled for. You don't have a pussy. Your role is to be strong and fight off threats. Your mom is setting you up to be eaten alive! Do you understand?" >There is a moment of silence as you look at eachother
>>74938 >Nerd N then slaps your hands off >"Human, your beliefsch are outdated and schilly. I am dischappointed in you." >Disbelief and anger fight for the wheel in your head >"You're talkung down to me while I'm trying to help you, you little faggot rat?!" >You grab Nerd N and carry him under your arm to your closet office >"Get your handsch off of me, you darn dirty ape!" >"Shaddap!" you say as you slap his ass >His limbs and tail tense as you do this >You open Nerd N's port against his consent >"Wh-what are you doing! Not there!" >You ignore the drone's homoerotic dialogue >Instead you type on your computer and grab a cable >Nerd N sees this >"Schtop! Schtop! Don't put it in! It looksch so filthy!" >You put it in his port >"Ah!" >You copy tens of gigabytes over to his oh so hard drive >This is the future, so it takes like a few seconds >"There. That ought to make you a man. Now scram." >You push Nerd N outside and close the door >All this new information in his head is strange and very confusing >Nerd N puts his hands to his throbbing head >"My head is full of meeeen!" >The drone spends the following days locked in his room >He won't talk to anyone >Whenever he sees his reflection, he feels ashamed >Eventually he returns to school >The usual jocks come to check up on him >"Hey faggot! We heard you were sick and we thought you caught AIDS! But don't worry. We saved your beatings!" >The head bully punches Nerd N on the temple and throws him to the ground >Nerd N pushes himself up >He punches the bully back so hard, he collapses his head >"I am the invinschible iron fucking fortressch Mazinger!" he proclaims >This time a fight breaks out >"I'll take you all on!" >Nerd N forms a hand drill and pierces another boy with it >The bullies run away as Nerd N watches heaving >He takes hold of his front teeth and breaks them >"Tired of thith thtoopid ackthent." >Muscles grow rapidly across Nerd N's body >He forms a chin, a bulge and a taste for red meat >He is now a man >Later you are sitting with Nerd N at the principal's office and getting yelled at >Nerd N's parents are there too >Izzy is pissed >"You ruined my beautiful precious boy with-with Super Robots! I will wedgie you with your ballsack!" >N is holding her back >Nerd N is angry too >"Thith ith bullthit. When the bullieth rough me up nobody careth but when I fight back I get into trouble." >"Rules of nature, kid. Authority only comes after the meek. Become dangerous." >"I will become a monthter."
>>74940 She has so many parts that I don't blame you for forgetting anything - like those having eyelids as well (hardly ever used). Gonna be interesting to see how you rig this
>>74941 take C U B E extude C U B E bend L O N G C U B E Flatten L O N G C U B E till it's half it's height subdivide Bend L O N G C U B E again. and adjust till it looks right. that is very over simplified but that's how I do it

>>74946 I tried that and it didn't work. Boo hoo hoo I'm a useless bastard... Btw her feet remind me of Black WarGreymon. Maybe she could cosplay as it.
>>74957 you have no idea the memory flashbag you gave me at the name Black WarGreymon. I loved digimon as a kid. watched the original. the sequel. the movie that was two OVA's assembled into one, and tamers. tried to watch some of the others but never got into em
>>74960 one of the anon's OC's which they've posted about on the thread's. and outside the threads. started from the idea of an Nuzi kid being an eldritch solver flesh horror was going around on fourchan for a bit.
>>74972 True but. her body isn't 100% Uzi's copied over. she can in some ways make her body change over time from what I remember. like the eye band at the top of her head she grew to resemble N. also remember. the DD's where made by the solver. whos to say the solver code wouldn't call for a more Disassembly drone-like pelvis shape? since having a cylinder for pelvis cradle doesn't sound pleasant and wouldn't let you walk correctly.
>>74967 I'm a big digimon fan. I love how they try new things every new season. My favourite seasons are hated by the rest of the western fandom. I hope to one day make printable toys of the characters. Especially Duskmon as a Dark Souls style character.
>>74991 I've been using this one. it's just not the best reference. since it's not too detailed and is clearly a sketch up. I'm not trying to copy the style and proportions 1/1 I'm trying to make a model I personally am proud of. while still looking pretty close to the character. for now I'm keeping her body as it is. because I'm happy with how it looks
Which OCs need to be given a good ending? Which ones need to be told "It's over, you won. You don't need to fight anymore, just rest." after everything they just went through?
>>74970 >Fun Fact: Hope always dresses up as herself for Halloween >It's one of the only day's of the year she's able to manifest as a physical being, so she tries to make the most of it
>>75010 Switch wouldn't have a good ending per se, more like a "good" ending where she "rests" permanently. Her boyfriend is dead, her mentor who raised her is dead and her "homeplanet" is gone, the only thing keeping her going are her hate and rage towards the Solver and its creations. With the Solver gone, there's nothing tethering her around to keep on going so she's most likely going to commit suicide unless she finds something else to keep her around.
>>75029 Somebody been comparing her to Louisa, and then the idea of them being sisters, so somebody though it was a good idea of Martha becoming Tessa stepmom/aunt
>>75007 got some of the face rig done. still need to rig the lips and eyelid's. then I have to do the eye band rig. and finally.. my least favorite thing ever to rig. the hair armature
>>74572 I mean.. what could they even do about it? None of them have superpowered Solver bullshit, meaning V, N, and Uzi would basically be untouchable.
>>75048 You misunderstand the point of what Liam said. Zombie drones reach sapience instantly once they boot back up, whereas otherwise drones need zero human contact for a while.
>>75041 Here's a screencap. I'll see about getting this uploaded after I get some work done filling out some of the "tagme" posts (assuming someone doesn't beat me to the punch, of course)
>>75042 Considering how desperate all three are for social interaction with their prey? Gray rocking them. There's a party of emotional validation out there and they're no longer invited.
>"-a dozen dead and thirteen others in critical condition. Why did you do it?" John Journoman asked the smaller, restrained drone. >Lucy was silent for about thirty seconds, totally still, before emitting a piercing shriek (thankfully muffled by the mask that kept her from biting) and shaking the gurney she was chained to. John jumped in his chair, before the gurney fell on its side with a crash. The Halloween-obsessed drone blinked repeatedly as she worked the fuzzies out of her head, then gave John his answer: >"Dying is scary." >cut back to anchor Tommy Trousers. >"When asked to elaborate further, Lucy just made what we here are guessing were silly faces at John until he ended the interview. Now, with me tonight is body language expert-"
>>75042 >build device that can emit high-power UV light when detonated >find a suicidal drone >put sunlight bomb inside him >have him provoke V, committing suicide by DD >once she's eaten him, detonate bomb >tell N & Uzi that he was not the only one who is wired to explode >now they can't risk killing/eating random drones
>>75063 >...at least that's what you had been picturing when you came up with the plan. >in actual practice, it took more force than you expected to lodge the bomb inside her, and you slipped too far forward >as a result you find your arm hopelessly trapped between her enormous cheeks. >you won't be able to escape before the bomb detonates, but at least you would die a martyr >that would be some consolation for being caught in the imminent blast that would finally slay the vicious leader of the nightly raids >instead, with the pitifully muffled sound of an explosion, her stomach briefly swells >and with a crass belch of black smoke, it deflates. >hate in her eyes and exhaust still billowing out from between her grinding teeth, she glares down at you >and clenches.
>>75080 THEN COME UP WITH A BETTER VERSION. ffs this is the brief window of time before her character isn't set in stone and anyone can shape how she turns out
>>75082 I feel like shes too developed as a Halloween scarier to be dramatically changed now, also I would argue shes distinct enough from 2006. If we are playing the game of OCs or MD being like other pre established things its not looking good for most of it.
>>75084 anyone can do it– that doesn't mean anyone can do it successfully. I've thrown around a few concepts that I think would give her more longevity, but none of them have grabbed enough attention to stick. my point is that right now is your best shot at changing the character for the better
>>75085 2006 is an amorphous blob with no backstory that scares people based on what it thinks is scary (in this case bad C movie Cheesey monsters) While it can potentially become actually scary it never will Lucy is a worker drone who was experimented on by bored workers to become the ultimate Halloween prop, but due to their negligence, laziness, fear, and deaths she is broken and discarded. She has a backstory you can develop, tragic, and personality beyond scaring. Also the way she scares while similar is still different. Sure you have to placate, but it wont fundamentally change her forever if someone mask slips. Theres variations in how she scares particular people based on what she feels makes them scared individually rather then 2006 who is implied to go >People think Monkey is scary >Monkey is not scary >I will become Godzilla forever now There is simply more going on with Lucy and more interesting stories you can tell then 2006
Such power, such charisma, such self-confidence, such an aura of power and horror, John is literally that cool villain that by his mere appearance can cause animal terror in the protagonist and unreal admiration in the viewer. Damn, I love evil John!
