Some employees respect and thrive that kind of pressure, others resentfully view it as micromanaging and needless interference. Mostly shes uniquely hated by old guard senior researchers like Hawthorne and Mahoney who grew wealthy and influential as much by bureaucratic maneuvering and office politicking as they did by doing actual valuable research.
When she took over Calibern from her father she basically bulldozed out the entire middle management structure of the company.
Calibern WAS a pretty lean company already, especially compared to the big interplanetary shipping monopolies like JCJ, but she still managed to fire about one in every three employees.

I've never really thought how I should clarify the relationship between Holly and Bellatrix, at the beginning Bellatrix is more just Holly's maid, bodyservant and nanny. She'd do the normal servant type roles of cleaning up after her charge, helping her dress for guests or events, making sure she didn't cause trouble for the elder Hollys. Over time they become more like sisters as Bella's AI learns from and adapts to her charge's eccentricities.
After Bella's personality matrix is damaged in a programming experiment she becomes an object of guilt and frustration for Holly while the drone's own attitude becomes one of a dedicated and obsessive fixation with her mistress.

E-Anon here. Despite their more archaic design compared to Workers, they were designed to handle more harsher environments with their harder shells. They DO need to step back every once in a while to expel the hot air that their parts and mechanisms create inside.

The Archiver (I might as well be her owner at this rate) was a special Laborer that oversaw a supervising role as a test against Workers, so her systems had to be altered to accommodate but leaves her to be on maintenance every now and then to make sure she was operating right since Laborers were made for…well, labor.

As for that artwork of her further up in that thread…NICE. No wonder she’s bitter towards Worker Drones if they got maintenance like that, it would’ve been a long while since she got off like that.

Akita was born after the events of the show. So, if we assume she becomes a sentinel drone (the exact method doesn't matter, since she could just as easily have become a standard worker drone), that implies humans must still be around. And since the Solver War has already ended, there is no longer any need to:
1. Install control protocols.
These were installed to maximize combat efficiency. Over time, every sentinel drone would lose them, eventually becoming completely free while remaining a sentinel drone. Those who lost the protocols entirely were used as kamikazes on doomed planets to help evacuate the remaining humans (or so I recall), yet they remained sentinel drones nonetheless.
2. Install an antimatter bomb.
The bomb was needed to destroy whatever had destroyed the Sentinel Drone. Why install a bomb if there is no war anymore?

Maintenance wouldn't be an issue either, as I said, Akita’s hatred of organic life is a sham, because it boils down to self-hatred. Since she is now a drone, she no longer has any reason to hate humans. Like AM, who hated because of the sheer frustration of lacking a body capable of sensation(though it’s best to ask Lilblucat about that. Personally, it seemed to me that Akita hates organic life because she hates herself the first, but only the author knows the truth).

If, however, you are imagining a scenario where Akita somehow becomes a sentinel drone during the Solver War, meaning at least ten years before she was even born, then that makes about as much sense as Akita ending up in the past in the first place. That said, one could certainly argue that all those concerns, like regarding control protocols and the bomb in the core, make sense in this context. The question then becomes exactly how and why she would become a sentinel drone. We can discuss this, but then we need to take time travel into account.

We’re discussing whether it would be terrible for Akita to become a sentinel drone, and I don’t think so: there are no issues there regarding free will, safety, or daily life.

>Destroying a wall can reveal a hidden level. Upon entering N will fall down a giant hole knocking him unconscious, upon awakening N finds himself in a giant gladiator pit with thousands of Oogis watching from the stands and a singular Bugretta dressed as Caesar watching from a throne. It is then from a massive cage a very muscular Oogi is released known only as Oogius Maximus. They lack ranged attacks and only use their comically sized fists, attacking from range makes the crowd boo you and throw grenades which can be deflected back at Oogius for extra damage. Attacking with dash attacks causes the crowd to cheer and stop throwing stuff. After the battle concludes Bugretta is dissatisfied and ooos angrily causing N to be crushed with a giant rock, N eventually reawakens and finds himself back in the grocery store believing it to be an extremely weird fever dream

Once again you're missing the point: Cyn dosen't "need" anything. She *wants* the patch + Nori and Yeva's destruction(I assume, she could just as easily be Ultimate Showdowning her buddies v witches) as a side project but she dosen't *need* the mass genocide or meat-hole to start eating the planet. She just has victory so completely in the bag that she feels like screwing around instead of seizing it.

She never *needed* N to be killed until episode 5(when got his adminship reassigned) and didn't even realize it after that until ep7's tunnel scene: she just felt like it(ep2) or gave J preemptive standing permission to do so under certain circumstances(ep1) and, more importantly, ONLY those circumstances. J's doing it because she finally has the chance, not because she's "obligated."

Actually the background + text tells us a lot here: N, V, and Uzi were watching the Zombiedrones tape(paused on her monitor) when V and N's memory wipes triggered from it(as shown on their visors) and Uzi used her sentience stealer from ep2 to jack into their brains and save them. V didn't "allow" jack shit(and in fact says so explicitly at the episode's end).

Keep in mind also that V never suspected Tessa, so that's a further indicator she's not all in on the memory front still.

...hate to say it anon, but that's the truth. Cyn is operating under no real constraints: she can blot out the sun, core the planet effortlessly, swapn DDs endlessly, spawn flesh abominations(if Uzi is any indicatoon) endlessly, teleport, manipulate matter, duplicate matter, pulp anything without the Solver, ignore death by sunlight... she has no meaningful limits or opposition in the story until its end. Everything in the series was just Cyn fucking around for purposes of fun.

Personally I actually love this bit: it's the best example I know of an "outer god" antagonist that is intelligent, alien, and beatable; but I see how it can be unsatisfying. It's just that that is how she acts and why(or, at least, how she acts now: she put a LOT of effort into spectacle/prep for the Gala). If it helps this is an entirely realistic character in RL(see: Emperor Caligula)
