Loosely inspired by a funny dream HIDE AND SEEK: A PERFECTLY NORMAL & THERAPEUTIC BONDING EXERCISE FOR DISASSEMBLY DRONES SEEKING STIMULATING RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY
>Players are divided into two teams; Hiders & Seekers (NOTE: It is recommended for AT LEAST one player to be a Disassembly Drone) >Area of play should be held in sufficiently large and ideally uninhabited spaces, with abandoned urban environments highly recommended as prime candidates >Hiders are to be given a starting grace period (5 minute standardization; recommend no shorter than 1 minute and no longer than 10) to hide themselves whilst Seekers remain cordoned off at a designated starting point ('peeking' during grace is grounds for immediate disqualification) >Seekers, upon conclusion of the starting grace period, are to be given an active time limit equal to the length of grace (recommended at-minimum halved length should flying be allowed) to hunt the Hiders >Game concludes when either all Hiders are found by Seekers, or when the active time limit is reached (for best effects, play 'Best-of-3' with team roles swapping between rounds) >Death and dismemberment* by any player on either team is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!!!
>*"Death and dismemberment" is defined as the permanent, irrecoverable death and/or disability of a participant; Given that Solverfied Drones can survive as mere disembodied cores, destruction and dismemberment of their remaining physiology is generally considered fair game. Please consult with your local Administrator before partaking in any actions that may necessitate an emergency core reconstitution into a backup body

>It was just after another morale-boosting speech by Bonnie Miller, trying her best to bring some mirth back to the troops which was surprisingly more successful then she had thought it would be. >Instead of being completely broken, the remaining humans, soldiers, and civilians within her camp were on the brink of collapse. Which was a much-important difference. >Well, except for the small Fodder drone in oversized soldier clothing which gave her a very loud applause, and her companion Tammy who hollered her own approval. Bonnie wished everyone shared their enthusiasm, but she also realized the Drone couldn't help but approve every word spoken by her and her companion was probably only engaging to appease her Drone friend, who she now had Piggy Backing on her back to their little section of the Camp. >Bonnie entered her cabin and closed the door behind her, and let the ever constant smile on her face fade, and a long sigh leave her face before slumping down onto her desk. >Bonnie’s head buzzed as she sat quietly in her cabin, her face down on her desk as she stared at nothing in particular. A bottle in her hand from the Booze she’s been nursing the last few days. >Her (recent) descent into alcoholism was a secret she kept even from her most trusted companion, sure She knew of Bonnie’s habitual smoking which they would sometimes partake in together, but the drinking was something she kept to herself. It was only a little bit, or at least that's what she told herself. >Her head buzzed, the silence of the room filled her with melancholy as the sounds of the lights in her room pierced her senses. She hoped her speech and morale boosts would be more effective, but if they were hardly working on her she couldn’t help but wonder what possible effect they were having on anyone else. >Bonnie drank another swig from her bottle. She realizes how close the voice in her head was to sounding like J in her worse moments, she even drank the same booze. God, like the world needed more then one of grumpy Jane. >She giggled a little to herself with such a lame jest, had Jane been there to hear that she’d grumble but also probably agree, and tell Bonnie to cheer up. >Why couldn’t Bonnie emulate someone a bit more responsible, like Abigail? There was a real leader, someone who was born to do the tasks Bonnie was only sort of familiar. Smart, Focused, Unyielding. If you put Abby in front of in indestructible wall, Bonnie believed she’d have created the unstoppable hammer within a day. >Then again, Abby wasn’t without her own problems, the girl was cold as ice and completely unfriendly. Bonnie spent almost all her time these days around machines, and Abby was closer to one of the worker drones than any other person. >She felt bad for the girl, she tried so hard but she was completely unpopular so her ideas went unnoticed. She felt even worse that probably unknown to Abigail, Bonnie actually did listen to her, and would use her ideas where applicable. But in doing so, stole her glory. Which is what probably fed into the growing resentment Abigail had towards her. >She sighed again and took another long sip, which was the end to her bottle, which she then could do nothing but let slip from her hands onto the floor with a loud thunk.
>She chose to rub her face and lean back as the vaguely Jane sounding voice in her head berated her with bouts of nihilism. Wanting to focus her mind onto other things, she wondered how she got to this point in her life as her still one good eye gazed onto a badly damaged poster of a much happier looking Blonde woman who somewhat resembled her in a patriotic pose. >Was it truly so long ago she was this unhappy? Was it truly so long ago her life was completely different?

>>367796 The Bonnie Green I promised over a year ago [2/?]
>In what feels like another life, she remembered the farm she grew up in, the somewhat rustic but comfortable farm where she spent her days working or in the town nearby. She was a known figure in her community for her spirited nature, friends with everyone and a stranger to none. Everyone knew that if you had a problem, big or small, Bonnie Miller would be there to help. >That all changed when Bonnie noticed the Drones that worked the farm with her, changed one day. What once used to be unnaturally friendly helpers around the farm, sudden became shifty and reclusive as they wandered out from their shifts to do… something. >Bonnie noticed that as missing person reports around town began to crop up, the more drones would be missing from her farm. >Before she had the chance to become truly suspicious, IT happened. The sky darkened, and all the previously missing drones from around town took to the streets to attack and carry people off into the sewers or alley ways. >It was all so sudden, people she knew were dying left and right, screams filled the streets. Bonnie had taken refuge in a bar she had spent some time in before, but she wasn’t alone. Inside were some survivors, including a dark haired girl, shaking with tears streaming from her face. Her body was scarred, and black sludge leaked from the clawmarks that patterned her body. It was a disease that Bonnie noticed had appeared on some of the injured here. >Bonnie felt a pit in her stomach seeing someone in such pain, and put an arm on her shoulder which at least stopped her shaking. >She talked to her for a moment, some of the usual comments, but what really seemed to work was the reassuring smile she tried to force on her face to the girl. This calmed her down a bit. Perhaps seeing that if Bonnie could smile in such dire situations, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. >A calm scene was hardly something that kept the monstrous drones from eventually locating their hideout and beginning to break down their door, some blaming the more obviously injured people as drawing in the creatures. This was something Bonnie could not help. >But as they started to really tear down the door, the sound of crackling gunfire could be heard. It was just enough to draw the creatures off to more obvious prey. As the gunfire continued, a Gasmasked wearing soldier finished the work the Drones did and entered the Hovel, gun drawn on the survivors. Seeing this, Bonnie immediately got in front of the other survivors, the gun trained now on her. Looking down the barrel, her heart raced. This may be it for her, but perhaps she could slow this soldier down just enough to let them escape. >She closed her eyes and turned her head away, but the gunfire never came. When she looked back she saw the soldier was looking her up and down, scanning her for something, she thought. >The soldier put a finger to his mask near his ear, and mumbling could be heard. After a moment and a nod from the soldier, they lowered their gun. >”Ma’am, I need you to come with me. We do not have time to waste.” There was hardly enough time before the soldier grabbed her arm and began to pull her away. >”Hey! What are you doing! ... What about the others? Bonnie tried to ask. >” … They’ll be fine,” the soldier coldy said back before quickly escorting her to the van under cover fire, soldiers being whisked into the air by drones one by one. She was escorted away in the speeding vehicle, and while she hoped the others would be okay, she also could have sworn she saw some other soldiers rush in before several quick flashes of light could be seen as she got away.

>She never took her eye off the road that once led to her town, her home, her old life. Smoke bellowed from the ruination of everything she once knew. >She eventually arrived at a base somewhere several hours away from her town, where she was caught up to speed on everything the military knew about what was going on which wasn’t much. They believed some kind of mass virus must have been unleashed by “terrorists” on the Drone population, causing rapid “changes” to their programming. This of course, hardly explained anything and didn’t feel feasible. How can a Trojan cause drones to sprout demon wings and hunger for flesh? And how did that explain why, way off schedule, there was an eclipse which bloated the sun? >Bonnie felt she was either being lied to, or that the person telling her this was lying to themselves to try and rationalize the situation they were in. Either way, this was the official stance as far as she knew. >She was then informed on her now forced conscription into the army. She was among a very small selection of people who survived the initial onslaught of this drone ‘terrorism’, that wasn’t either dead or “Infected”. >Bonnie was flabbergasted, she wasn't a violent person at heart and while she had fired the occasional gun, which she was now embarrassed to admit was, perhaps, at the occasional and completely situational unknowing drone for shits and giggles with her friends. But this was completely different. >The commander, probably sensing she was panicking, reassured her. She wasn’t to see any real combat, not yet anyways. She was actually for a different purpose, propaganda. >She had a cute face, and lovable features. At these stages the armies of the world believed this would be a passing crisis, something they could feasibly deal with. However, they also realized how.. Demoralizing this conflict had become as large portions of the population decreased at alarming rates. >So they wanted to take her lovable, calm, and reassuring face and put it on a poster. They would put her in soldier gear (which would also just so happen to become her gear afterwards), take some pictures of her looking tough and reassuring, and then ship them out to be plastered to gain support for the newly founded E.D.F, a global militarization of remaining world leaders under one movement until this crisis was handled. >Was this her life now? Farm girl turned propaganda figure? She was saved from the ruins of her town because she was attractive? So many died in her place, yet she got to live because of how she could be used. >She felt herself have the beginnings of a void form within her heart, but she also understood the importance of this mission. IF she could make what remained of the people feel even slightly better about what was happening, she had to do it. >At first, this is all she did: posed for pictures and the occasional meetup and recruitments. She went from “Bonnie” to “That girl from the posters” quickly, but it did help somewhat. At least in these early stages. Seeing Bonnie made the people feel like there may still be hope; where she was seen there was a chance that perhaps there was victory to be had. She quickly began to be associated with heroism she did not deserve and valor she hadn’t earned, simply through recognition and hope. >This of course changed over time. Now it took more than posters to make a difference, a notion made evident when Bonnie was finally handed a Gun by a new commander she hadn’t met as the previous had died brutally in a conflict. He, probably like her, thought they would have a position in the conflict far away from it. This changed as he was ordered to command with his soldiers on the field, and took to battle with them as the actual forces of the E.D.F crumbled as the weeks passed.

>Bonnie was put in a small squad of soldiers, which itself was part of one of many encampments of soldiers posted around major battlegrounds. >She was utterly terrified, but a smile never left her lips as she was in their company, it couldn't. She did not know their names, but they all knew her, “Poster Girl”. She eventually had to actually tell them her name, but she still felt like she would never escape her identity she had gained from the impressions of her people, which she got from the propaganda. Still, unlike her, they seemed almost relieved. They were in the presence of a living legend in her mind, her escapades being dramatized and the legend greatly exaggerated. One of them genuinely believed she led a whole company against a squad of drone and won. One of them said that they heard Bonnie once dueled a Drone 1 on 1, and with nothing but the clothes on her back and a dull knife managed to defeat the robotic rebel after popping its head off in a head lock. >These stories were beyond ridiculous, beyond belief, and yet they believed them. Bonnie could do nothing but smile and shrug, “Well, I could hardly stab at the fiend with a blade that dull… it would have been too easy!” to the resounding cheer of everyone around her. >She felt oddly happy; she was only feeding into their delusions; however, seeing them happy made her happy. Was it truly then a bad thing? Could it truly have been so wrong if she embodied their hopes even if it was built on lies? She stopped this train of thought, she wondered if perhaps at this point, she let the stories around her may have fed into a certain overconfidence in herself. >While not technically leading them, she might as well have been their leader. Her uniform certainly looked like that of a General or Leading commander, and everyone treated her that way. Its not like there was much of a command structure left within the camps, there was the general idea of hierarchy and command and that was about it. There was the mission you tried to accomplish, and the commands you would receive. From there, the soldiers were basically left to their own devices, though desertion was not tolerated under any circumstances. >The mission was simple, recon of a nearby ruins and collection of mutated flesh for sampling. If survivors were found, they were supposed to be brought back for study, containment, or conscription. >She led the small band of soldiers down the crumbling streets, never letting the noises which would sometimes echo from buildings make her jump, she did her utmost to keep up appearances. They collected enough samples for the day and were beginning to make their way back to… >Eventually, a noise was too loud, too distinct, coming from a nearby store. This caused her small band of soldiers to cease movement. She stood there with them for a few loud heartbeats. >They all gazed at each other, and then, at her. >Feeling their gazes, she sighed and scrambled for what to say. >” Well, we were told to investigate for survivors, weren't we? That sounded like a Survivor to me” >The soldiers shuffled until one finally spoke up. “Are.. Are you sure, Miss Bonnie? No one will report it if we don’t have to. What if that's not a survivor, or what if they’re a mutant and this is their way of-” >The soldier went on with every excuse to NOT wander into this building, many of which made more than enough sense to Bonnie to get out of here with what they had and never return. >However, deep in her heart, it pained her to imagine leaving now, when there was even a slight possibility of someone being in there begging for help. Perhaps they were just a child, scavenging for food? There was food at the camp. Maybe they needed medicine, which she could provide. >” Listen,” She said, her voice slightly raised. “No one has to follow me inside, but I will not stand here as someone may need my help. I implore those willing to assist, and those not to return to base.” She steeled herself and began to march to the store. Behind her, the sound of footsteps, no one there thought that if Bonnie Miller would go somewhere they could not follow.
>>367818 The Bonnie Green I promised over a year ago [5/?]
>The store was filled with a thick smog of ashes and debris, making it hard to see, let alone breathe. What was worse, there were several dozen flies buzzing around which made it even more annoying to search around. >It had almost been like these flies were, following them? The idea was absurd. >As they searched, Bonnie had felt an ever increasing sinking feeling in her gut. Had this really been a common store not even a few short weeks ago? The place was beyond recognition. >That didn’t stop some of the soldiers from pilfering from the shelves what remained of their contents, something Bonnie wouldn’t even care about, had she not been embarrassed she as well had been stealing from the ruined shelves. >They searched every room just to find nothing, save for a few scattered pieces of debris and dried blood. Small mutations could also be seen, which were collected. >The store had collapsed entirely, leading into several other buildings. The crawl seemed endless, and the buzzing flies made her start to feel nauseous. These were some adventurous flies that Bonnie had ever seen, poking and landing on them several times and overall hovering around them. It had almost been like these flies were following them. The idea was surely absurd. >Despite a growing pain in her heart, she was at the brink of giving up her search. They had turned up nothing that came close to evidence of life still being here, and the putrid odor of the store was getting to her. Perhaps that noise was simply some stray wind. >That was until she heard a cry from a connected nearby ruin.
>”Help! Oh, Help Please me! I am gravely injured and will require assistance!” Came a somewhat grating, but distressed voice across a passage leading the ruined store they were in to another building close by. >Bonnie was ecstatic; this search may not have been pointless after all, and led the way forward. She rushed forward to where the voice may have been coming from, without realizing she accidentally sprinted off ahead without anyone else. She was too far ahead before the sound of someone trying to stop her advance could reach, and the sound of buzzing flies drowned out all but they crying voice. The voice didn’t seem too far at first, but she could swear it seemed a little farther every time. Farther, then even farther still, always just another few rooms ahead. Until she finally reached a room that seemed like a dead end, but contained a closet. >She was panting now, she felt like she had all the energy in her left out, but she felt like she had finally made it to where the survivor might be. Just in this closet, and this all would have been worth it. She opened it quickly and almost puked when she saw the contents. A stacks of humanoid figures laid inside, drained like a juiceboxes. >Before she could feel the presence behind her, she could smell its putrid stench, sly laugh, and the sound of buzzing, and quickly turned. >Before her was a monstrous creature, never before had she seen an infection this bad, it was vaguely in the shape of a woman but with obvious mutations that gave her mosquito like qualities. All the while dressed in tattered and ragged noble attire, similar to the ones she would sometimes see worn by rich folks passing by her village or advertised alongside drones. >”Ah, My Hero, come to my rescue, have you?” The mutant mocked before letting out a hideous cackle. “I do love when bloodbags like you are so gullible” >Bonnie was heartbroken, not only was she to die now, but she was to die for nothing. How could she have been so ignorant, so stupid? Her inexperience got the better of her, and for what? To be lunch for this thing here? >The creature saw that Bonnie was on the verge of tears, and a dark smile ran across her face. “Now, now, no need for those, you have a great purpose ahead of you, about as great as your kind could.” she said before she bore her great and terrible teeth and prepared for a strike. Clearly, she was eating up every excruciating moment of this, soaking up the terror she intended to instill.
>>367829 The Bonnie Green I promised over a year ago [6/?]
>”Just Kidding!’ Bonnie replied as the creature got close enough to her, the gambit had worked. She truly was terrified of course, but the hideous monstrosity wasn’t the only one that could act here. She pulled out her pistol and unloaded everything she had into the gut of the monster as it was unprepared. >As it gagged and backed away, she pulled the pin of several flash grenades she kept on her and tossed them into the room as she dashed out. The creature screamed as they exploded on her. Bonnie hoped that would keep her at bay for some time, for her to regroup and evacuate. >She ran to where the store was she had been before, only to find no one there, only the remains of what looked to be a fight and fresh blood stains. The flies were now gone. >Bonnie held back tears, thinking of what she had mistakenly done to these people who had trusted her beyond all else. All that was left was a sample containing the mutation they scavenged on the ground and some torn clothes. >She grabbed what she could and left the store, wandering the streets slowly, alone. The cold air hit her now disheveled face, ash and dust clung to her. She knew where the regrouping area was and waited there for some time. When no one came, she got back up and tried to wander back to the van, which she would now drive back alone. > She hardly cared enough to notice the flies which started to hum around her. >Not long after she noticed, a large congregation of flies swarmed around her in quick succession, before dissipating to reveal the ragged mosquito mutant before her. She was damaged, breathing heavily to herself in what could either be pain or rage. >”Do you have any idea, what you have done to me you, you absolute worthless trash woman!” She exclaimed while shaking her dress which now had several bullet holes in it. >” This dress, passed down in my family for generations to the noble heirs of the household, cost more than what you and your entire peasant family have made in the entire inglorious time you’re bloodline has existed on this planet!” She was clearly more upset her clothes had been shot than that Bonnie had hurt her. She began to march forward, claws outstretched towards Bonnie, murderous intent emanating from her as blood trickled from her gritted teeth. >Bonnie needed a distraction and fast ” Well, as you have mentioned, I am very poor, so don't expect me to reciprocate any bills you send my way.” She tried to joke; it wasn’t very good, but she hoped it’d be enough to at least break the creature's concentration. >”AH, a Jester are we?” The creature replied, clearly seething with rage. “ You know I used to have a Jester in my court. When he stopped being funny, I ate him, and then I replaced them, and then I ate the replacement” >”So keep joking little Jester, the only thing I find funny is how superior you think you are now, and how beneath me you really are” the creature giggled as she closed the distance. Unnerved but hoping she got the time she needed she pulled her pistol for another quick fire, but Bonnie misjudged how effective she had been as the creature dodged and leapt at her >”OH HO HO, Thought the same thing would work on me TWICE did you?” The Bug mutant exclaimed as she choked Bonnie out, slamming her head into the dirty street. >Her grasp on Bonnie’s neck was intense, her horrible mosquito like nose only inches from puncturing into her face. Her grip which was surprising for a thing with arms that skinny, but using some of her strength she tried to go for a quick punch at the things face. >The mutant grabbed at Bonnies hand with her own arm, only needing one to choke Bonnie out it seemed. “Got plenty of life in you have you lesser? Ah, that’s good, I think I will see how it tastes.” The bug mutant exclaimed as she licked at her arm with her prickly tongue, after she was satisfied with her licks, she dug into her arm and hand with a series of bites. The pain was intense, in between biting her she would suck and lick at the wounds she caused. Bonnie screamed louder than she had ever screamed before and felt her arm go limp as the creature finally let go. Bonnie's arm hit the street with a loud thunk, and the creature leaned her head back and let out a satisfying sigh after a well enjoyed meal. Blood trickled out of her mouth back onto Bonnies face as a sick grin grew. >”No more Jokes little Jester?” She said slyly. Waiting for a response that never came, the mutant continued. “Ah, what a shame. I will say little Jester, I do enjoy the look you are giving me. It pleases me greatly to see the way those pretty eyes of yours stare at mine; the hatred you exude is to die for. Where is your bravado now” >Bonnie spit a fat glob of blood and spit into the creatures face causing it to jerk back a little, and gave off a shit eating grin back. >The creature took a moment to gather itself. “Well, on second thought, I think I'm tired of your looks”. Before it once again went for a killing strike at Bonnies neck. >Just as it all seemed over, the creature stopped suddenly and gazed towards the red and black sky as if she was prey looking out for a predator; her breathing intensified as her eyes darted back and forth.
>>367830 forgot an addition >The creature took a moment to gather itself. “Perhaps, on second thought, I think I'm tired of your disgusting looks” she said, putting a hand on her chin as to think, using her tongue to quickly and shamefully scoop up the fat blood glob near her mouth. “I think i’ll rip your throat out, and watch as the light leaves your eyes, that should be entertaining! Dont you agree?” Before it once again went for a killing strike at Bonnies neck. >Just as it all seemed over, the creature stopped suddenly and gazed towards the red and black sky as if she was prey looking out for a predator; her breathing intensified as her eyes darted back and forth.
>>367830 The Bonnie Green I promised over a year ago [7/?]
>”Ah Bloody Bollocks.” The mutant said under her breath. Before letting go of her grip, letting Bonnies head hit the ground with a thick thunk, “And I so would have loved to dine with you more little Jester” she said cutely, one more long lick on Bonnies face. “But it would seem your screams have attracted the Metal Angels, and I wouldn’t dare keep them from a sacrifice to the great one as Graaaaaand as you!”she said as she got up and slowly walked back into her swarm of flies, >” Remember this as the moment Valentine, von Dronious graced your life, for what remains of it! You were truly delicious.” and with a small bow and cackle she was gone, her legion of flies covering her escape. >Bonnie for a short moment, had no idea why she left, until she saw a shadow flying across the street. Several of the murderous drones she had encountered from before could be seen flying overhead. They hadn’t spotted her yet, but were clearly searching for whatever let out that anguished scream. >She had no time to waste. Despite her pain, she gritted her teeth and clung to her worthless, bloodied arm and rushed to yet another ruin in the street for cover. Thankfully, that horrible she demon sucked her pretty good, there was hardly any blood left for her to spill, leading to her position. >Despite being, for now, safe, Bonnie hardly felt as if she had much more to look forward to. She was trapped here, Drones outside, and while the murderous bug might be gone for now, who knows when she’d be back. Bonnie huffed, she puffed, and now that she was truly alone, she cried. She had no one left to hold up her facade for, she was broken beyond belief. Everyone who trusted her died because of her pointless optimism. Hell, she almost died herself! Actually, she was going to die. But it could have been for something! She could have died saving someone, or rescuing people, or holding a line. Instead, she's going to die in this stupid building because she had a hero complex?! >She crawled herself into a little ball and let herself cry. This was the first time in a long time she could allow herself to feel as miserable as she had. She did not care if someone heard her, or if the monsters came for her, there was nothing left. >That is what she felt until she heard a noise up ahead. This ceased her crying, and panic set in. She almost felt like she saw a figure moving around just up ahead. >”Wh… Who’s There?” She exclaimed before picking herself back up. >”...” the figure obviously trying to keep very still up ahead replied. >”You know I can see you, right?” Bonnie said, figuring that IF this was something intending to kill her, it would have done so already or it could just do it now and save her some trouble. >” Well… SHIT!” The badly hidden girl in military attire exclaimed before darting off. >Bonnie sat there for a second. She sat there for another second. >She could continue to sit here. She could do nothing. She could choose not to stand up. She could stop herself from walking over and chasing this person. She could leave it be before she rounds another corner to find this person. She could have done all these things. But she didn't >She couldn't. Because there was a person here, and they may have needed her help. >As she wandered to find this girl, she saw what looked like a few soldiers lying about the area. She doubted the girl had anything to do with this, they were clearly the result of Drones. The bodies were beyond torn, rats eating what was left. This might be her old company, they had sent several out here for sampling, and almost none returned. >It wasn’t long before she saw the girl crawl her way a room. Not yet another dead end. Bonnie swore that if this was another trap, she’d just kill herself before the Mutie did to save her the embarrassment. >When she entered, there was the Brown haired Girl in military drags, positioned in the corner. She held a combat knife pointed right at Bonnie. Bonnie could tell the Girl tried to play it cool but her body shivers gave it away. She was scared. It was like she had cornered a rat in her fridge it was pitiable. >”You know I mean you no harm, I only want to help you.” Bonnie tried to say in the most reassuring voice she could. >There was no response, the girl simply kept breathing as she held her knife to Bonnie. A piercing red glare from the shadows concealing the girl was all Bonnie could see. The girl was clearly injured, not deeply but a gash on her stomach leaked some blood. >” What happened to the other soldiers you were wi-” Bonnie tried to say, before getting cut off >” I had nothing to do with it if that’s what you’re implying.” She coldly shot back >” We were ambushed. They died. That is all that happened.” The girl said in quick succession, almost to just put it out here. She tried to mask what she was feeling under her chilly tone, but it was clear to Bonnie that she was scared. Tears welled in her eyes nigh imperceptibly. Her body quaked ever so slightly. She was on the verge of total emotional collapse, as if a gust of wind could knock her over. >” How did you survive?” Bonnie asked, before moving a little closer. >” I… They bought time as I managed to hide. “ She said. This almost felt like an interrogation to Bonnie, which hadn’t been her intention. > “ Are you hurt, I can take you back to my camp, we have medical supplies for survivors like you” >” I am fine right where I am, you need to stay back from me. Why don’t you go your own way poster girl, and I’ll go mine? “ The girl was getting more anxious now, her position more defensive. >” Ah, so you know who I am then?” Bonnie inquired, once again taking a few more stances. >” I know of you, or at least what people say. Not that I believe in any of it myself.” It's clearly a load of bullshit isn’t it? Surely not even you believe you can actually help anyone out here, in this wasteland. We were both sent out here to die, just to do meaningless tasks to fill up time before the end!” The tone of the girl was more accusatory now, her stance letting up somewhat as she dug into the myth of Bonnie Miller. >” You know, I don’t think I really believe it myself much anymore either,” Bonnie said >” But, I want to. I want it to be true. I want to believe that I can save people, even now. Even as there are monsters outside, waiting for us to come out together and eat us both, even as the whole world burns, I want to believe that even one life saved means that I did everything I could.” Bonnie continued to speak to the girl, and possibly also to herself, as she got within a few inches of the girl. >”S-Stay Back you Crazy Weirdo! Why Can’t you just leave me here to die already!” The frightened girl swung with her blade in blind emotion. While that happened, Bonnie lunged at her to disarm her.

>She had the girl now in a big one armed bear hug, as her other arm barely functioned. >The girl gasped as she dropped her blade, and struggled a bit before succumbing to Bonnies hug. Bonnie hardly even felt the pain in her eye from where the blade dug into her flesh as she held the girl tight to her. >It was like all fear and anguish washed away from the Girl at once. Why did this weird girl care so much for her? Why put herself in danger like this just to ease her pain? No one would do that for her, SHE would especially not do that for her. >Her, Jane, the traitorous coward, who at the first sign of danger on this simple recon mission ran. Her, Jane, the wretch who when given the chance to help another, pushed them so the Drones would devour them first. Her, Jane, who prioritized her own safety so much she didn’t even notice when that pistol was drawn and the bullet missed by inches to her gut. >But then, there was this Girl. This one who spent their life in the service of others. Who, if the stories were to be believed, which Jane did, risked life and limb to help others. Jane wanted desperately to be this woman, held back by her own desires. And now, here she was, saving her when she was the last person on the planet to deserve it. >She let herself succumb to the moment, tears finally streamed from Janes eyes. She apologized ferciously to the girl, who had saved her as well when she did nothing to deserve it. >Bonnie held the girl tighter; she had done it, she had finally saved a single life. She was finally the Bonnie Miller others believed her to be; this journey had not been in vain, she CAN help other people. >And for the first time, blood streaming down from her gashed eye, she looked at the girl with a genuine smile on her tired face.
>Bonnies trip down memory lane was cut short by the opening of her door. Jane slowly creaked it open on her. Bonnie, in a few moments, gasped and tried to kick the bottle of alcohol away from view and put on her best face. >”Hey, I wanted to check in on you. That was uh, it was a nice speech.” Jane said as she walked closer. >”Was it really? Bonnie said back >”No.” Jane said back to her >Bonnie let out an exaggerated sigh, “Since when did you get a sense of humor huh? Couldn’t let me think I did a good job for a moment, could you?” she let off a sly grin >” Well, I had to be honest. I also don’t like any of your speeches.” Jane replied, a cocky grin on her face. >“NOW YOU'RE JUST MAKING ME FEEL WORSE ;0” Bonnie replied, throwing some paper at Jane. >”Ahuh, and it’s just me and not that bottle of brandy you’ve been sipping all day?” Jane replied, barely hiding her own cocky grin. >Bonnie was genuinely taken aback; she had thought she hid her new habits well from Jane. Great, now Jane is going to be even MORE smug at her. >”Well, anything else you mean to belittle me with or did you already spend all your ammunition” Bonnie said, perhaps a tad hurt at this point >” A… Sorry I didn’t think you meant to keep that under wraps too well. You can’t really hide that kind of thing from me” Jane said. “Besides, I thought that, well, perhaps…” Jane said again before pulling out two more bottles of brandy from her own stash. “Misery might like some company?” >Bonnie looked over at Jane, holding out two bottles of alcohol, now noticing she was in some evening gear. >”My My Jane. T. Human, If I didn’t know any better I would think you would be interested in engaging in some… “”Rule Violations”” “ Bonnie said, in her most Abby esq voice. >”Ugh Shut up and drink with me already, don’t remind me of Abigail, I already had a talking down from her earlier today and I don’t need another… even if it comes from you’re top tier acting chops.” Jane said, before handing her a bottle.
>They drank the night away, just talking to each other. Getting into drunken shenanigans within Bonnies cabin. They played drinking games, many Abby impressions were had. By the end the two were barely dressed and beyond wasted. >They crawled into bed together, Jane spooned on Bonnies figure beginning to cling to Bonnie as if for dear life as was her usual sleeping pose. >”Hey… B. Do you think im.. A bad persun” Jane asked a bit shyly. >This question caught Bonnie off guard. It wasn’t the kind of thing Jane would typically say. Perhaps it was the alcohol. Jane dug her face into Bonnie a little as she awaited a response. >”What brought this on J?” Bonnie asked before putting her hand to scruff Jane’s hair. >” I just, I don’t know I was thinking and… Im sorrgy about your eye I really yam” Jane said a bit drunkenly, once again digging into Bonnie almost like a cat. >”Ah well, as long as you don’t stab out my other eye I think I can forgive you” Bonnie tried to joke only for Jane to softly punch at her gut. >”NO JOKES! ANSGER THE QUESTYPN!” she kept softly punching her gut, causing Bonnie to giggle a little. >”Okay! Okay! Only if you stop this onslaught please!” Bonnie said as they both laughed. >Bonnie stopped to wonder for a second. Her smile faded from her face. She wondered the same thing about herself today. Was she a bad person? She did her best to keep everyone happy through forced smiles, and little bread and circuses. But all and all, she was a failure. >Bonnie did what she could to keep herself and others entertained and willing to go on for just another day, and every day felt like it took a little more to keep going. >Who has she really helped? Who has she really saved? >She then looked at Jane, as Jane glared at her with her red, piercing eyes again. >Jane had come a long way from the scared girl she met all that time ago. And every day she changed a little more, becoming a bit less cold, being a bit better and less bitter. Jane was still Jane at the end of the day, she was still a bit selfish. But, maybe that’s why Bonnie loved her anyways, for her flaws. >And maybe that was the point. Bonnie couldn’t save anyone, but maybe she could just make the days a little more bearable for everyone and they could enjoy themselves just a little longer. The people at the camp were content, and seeing Bonnie and Jane come back from their missions made them hopeful. When Bonnie sent them out to scavenge, they went out reassured by her smiles and jokes. >So maybe she didn’t need to be a good person, maybe she just needed to be. >”No Jane, I don’t think you’re a bad person” >”I think you try your best, and that’s good enough for me” >”B… I want to help you the same way you helped me..” Jane said, tiredness overcoming to her >Bonnie scruffed her hair one more time. “Ah J, you’ve helped me enough.” She said contently >”I wannga save you tooo-00…” Jane barely said as she drifted to sleep, once again crawling close to Bonnie and nibbling at her ear a little as was her habit. >Bonnie felt her own slumber come for her too. She pondered once more about what she thought about, how she got here. >She stared at a picture she kept by her desk across the room. It was a lone picture of her and Jane. She was smiling to Janes left, and Jane was looking cold as ever. She loved that photograph more then anything else in the world. >She thought long and hard about it, and then she thought, that maybe whatever she was, and jane was, maybe that was good enough.
If Uzi was male, then he would be completely pussy-whipped by Doll. Doll’s family would probably be orchestrating things to make sure that Doll would be married to the future leader of the WDF, and thus, the future leader of the outpost. It would probably start with Yeva realizing this, and calling Nori her “Best Friend” instead of her sister. Yeva would want to make sure that Doll and Boyzi were not considered cousins.

Now, NOW, All the anons are FUCKING. I swear you guys only get into fights to justify raping each other! I saw an anon with big tits ask another what their favorite drone was, when they said "That detective lady", Anon smothered the poor bastard with her tits!
>>367909 You need to practice construction, so that you know how the parts of a body go together in 3d space. You've been advised about this ever since you started posting here.
>>367920 He's ditched social media pretty much 100% but says that he's actively working on stuff as well. I speculate he saw the shitshow around TADC and correctly decided that online fandoms are fucking insane and psychotic or minors or both and wants to keep well away from the public. Smartest possible decision tbh, just make your shit, post it, fuck off again and never interact.
>>367921 I guess they do look a bit flat and stiff. It's mostly a matter of practicing construction with boxes and other simple 3D forms, right? By the way, does my art remind you of any artists you think I could learn from?
>>367923 >just make your shit, post it, fuck off again and never interact This is unironically the best way to go about dealing with online "fandom". It's never worth subjecting oneself to the unfiltered opinions of unreasonably immature shitheels, obsessively parasocial creeps and drama-mongering psychos just because they happen to like what you make
>>367926 What >>367929 says, with a caveat. Tracing is fine for building muscle memory of an artstyle you like, you trace it so that you can teach your arms and hands what it feels like to draw like an artist you like. This however is not generally something people appreciate being posted, its relegated to practice sketches and it can't be the only thing you do. My suggestion would be if you really want to learn a certain kind of pose, first trace it, then try to draw a copy right next to it and overlay the two to see where you made mistakes, repeat this and slowly your freehand will look more and more like that thing you want to draw. You can do the same with construction, study it a bit in the classroom sense (listen to a bunch of other instructional content about it) and then grab several poses or references you like and practice using construction to recreate them. Trace first, then freehand next to it and overlay to see where your errors were.
People are not irritable because you're a green artist, especially other drawfags will all know because we have all been where you are. People are irritated with you because a lot of your art looks traced. My advice would be if you must trace something to learn it out thats fine, but whatever you post here post your freehand, even if it looks worse, inversely the response you get from Anons will probably be more positive, especially as you get better with time.
>>367923 Honestly that's a one of the major reasons I love Liam and his works. He's really "low-key" so to speak with how he handles his social media presence, like whenever he drops a new art piece for example, he posts, showcases it, and peaces out to dronehalla. Absolute class act.

Weren't they?" >Her voice was soft, almost childlike. >I wanted to rip her apart, but something in her stopped me. >A deep, hollow loneliness. >She patted the grass beside her. >Gesturing to sit by her side. >Against my better judgment, I sat. >She began to speak, her voice distant like recounting an old memory. >"There was once a drone named... i can't remember...sorry..." >She told me his story. >A broken drone, sprawled in the ruins of some forgotten place. >Ten years of nothing but scorn and cold metal under his frame. >Until she found him. >A small drone with a lunchbox of strawberries. >"Just so you know that there is love in this world." >She'd told him with that same smile. >Every Thursday she'd return. >He lived for those visits. >He worshipped the ground she walked on. >The first kindness in his miserable existence. >Then... she stopped coming. >Weeks...Months...Years. >His hope curdled into resentment. >Loneliness fed the hatred like oil to a flame. >One rainy night, he heard laughter. >Through a window, he saw a happy family. >The sight broke him. >He clutched the knife he carried. >The family's screams cut through the night as he unleashed years of abandonment. >As the last light faded from their optics, the strawberry girl had sighed in the shadows. >"Always the same. Give someone love and they become happy... but once the love runs out, in its absence hatred breeds." >She looked at me now, optics dim. >What's the point of this story? >"I tried to give the village a taste of love." >"Just a basket." >"Just one moment of sweetness." >"They were kind to each other at first. Smiling. Sharing." >"But when the berries effect faded... the absence was too much." >The girl picked a single strawberry from her basket and held it out to me. >It glistened perfectly. Unnaturally. >"Love is fleeting. Its shadow is eternal." >I stared at the fruit. >The village's screams still rang in my audio receptors. >Part of me wanted to eat it. >To feel that false happiness again. >Another part wanted to crush it. >In the end, I took it. >As I bit down, sweetness flooded my systems. >For a brief second, the world felt warm. >Then the cold absence began to creep in already. >The girl stood up, basket in hand. >"I have more villages to visit." >She walked away down the hill, leaving the faint scent of strawberries behind. >I sat there as the first waves of resentment stirred in my core. >Already imagining what I'd do to the next drone who looked at me wrong. >The screams would be beautiful again someday. >Every strawberry is a small expression of her love. >And there is no force more painful than its absence.

>>368021 >>368027 >>368030 Chibinator/chibi drone can turn others to chibi. Shr peaks almost exclusively in anime slangs, tropes, and broken Engrish: >"Kawaii desu ne! Your chibi form is so moe it hurts my kokoro!" >"Doki doki!", "Kyaa!", "sparkle sparkle."
Man even FIGHTING Cyn is survivable for humans, much less sexual congress(an act which implies at least some level of fondness for the recipient). Retaining your human form afterwards... less so, but you could totally *live.*

Between all of the above I can see the Solver hating her even more than she does Uzi: at least Uzi reacts, at least Uzi fears, Nori just chugs oil and shows off
>>368082 >Impregnate J >Because Anonymous genes are incredibly recessive our kid is just... J. Again. >However, a J without all the trauma. >Disassembler body. Code identical to J's original. Just none of the baggage. >She is incredibly successful in business, love, and life. >J now needs to deal with the fact that life has made her worse. So, so much worse.
>>368086 It was using her pretty consistently in the flashback. I figured it was the opposite, if anything: Nori's carelessness about her cool thing and initial belief there were no real downsides to it ultimately made her extremely vulnerable once the Absolute Solver came rap tap tapping on her walls.

>>368088 The flashback for the Patch? Sure, but everything else in CFL(the portrait, the lockers, the picture, etc) indicates that not only were the subjects semi-consistently in control of themselves, but that out of all the subjects Nori was "best" at remaining so. Add in how the Solver specifically seems ro rely on fear, pain, and confusion to carry out a possesion(even just being embarrased knocks it out, as Uzi demonstrates) and one can see how a retarded gremlin autist too self-confident to feel fear or confusion would be a bitch to overtake. If anything being cautious (like Uzi was) makes you MORE vulnerable: it adds to your stress and fear.
As for how Nori got possesed the twice... I figured it was part of the experiment somehow, essentially "get a drone hijacked and see if the we can jack it back" as a test. Though that might be me post-hoc justifying how "Nori got possesed" can exist alongside "Nori explicitly knows how to resist possesion" and "Nori was shown as the most confident/calm(main factor in bodyjacking) in the labs" rather than just accepting it as a visual.

>>368096 Well... yeah? When your bodyjacking relies that much on your targets fear and doubt vs their "nah I'd win" then the person with "nah I'd win" to the point it becomes a major issue in their empathy and personal life is going to be a hard target, no?
MAYBE you could leverage something after you overtake them completely, but getting to that point (without some major outside assistance) is going to be a bitch is it not? Especially when compared against a realistic, perceptive individual that's very aware that you're essentially an IED in their soul
You can’t force OCs, it’s antithetical to what makes characters fun. Every OC that’s ever been good was made on a whim in a completely different era of these threads. You can’t really make OCs like we used to, we don’t know how. The threads have changed too much for organic fun discussion.

I'm creating this log of not only learning something about John and the way he build eye, but also a little interesting fact about him as well〕 >〔It all started with a simple idea: "Who will win? John robot or my robot?"〕 >〔Of course convincing eye was easy since it was all a simulated experience. Thus any physical harm would be out of the window, including any mental strain that may occur too〕 >〔Though it would be interesting, but I'll save that idea for a future experiment〕 >〔It was simple. Best of 3. And this is where it all started because when I hooked up eye the simulation something interesting occured〕 >〔When looking at his systems within the computer it showed that eye can only carry a limited number of weapons, with the max being two guns per hand it goes for the same with melee weapons as well. In total only allowing a total 8 weapons to be stack in each arm. Unlike my machine that can use any type at pure will〕 >〔But yet again, he was a prototype of his kind, though I do wonder why limit at this range? Why not make him more lethal by allowing him that ability?〕 >〔And soon it hit me as I look deeper: eye have multiple ai systems within his brain. One for social, one for combat, and the other is data collecting and analytics. Though I'd say its a high risk high reward for John since these ai systems can end up conflicting with one and another and can cause mental problems〕 >〔But none the less it was interesting at the least. Especially with each round〕 >〔For the first round it ended in a draw. Eye picked out long ranged weapons to keep Elf at bay thus in turn minimal damaged was done on either end〕 >〔Round two how ever was interesting. Eye loadout was cqc focus〕 >〔"perhaps he seeing whos cqc was better. His or hers"〕 >〔But I aint no fool for he purposely lost that round. For there was moments he can get a clean hit in but hold back〕 >〔Which bring us to the final round. Round three. And ooooh boy this was a spectacle to see. Eye blended both build ideas to get a even medium to short range style and putted pressure on her. Always juggling from passive to aggressive, fleeing to chassing, but yet something felt off〕 >〔Throughout the entire three rounds he kept the same blank expression. Like if he just barely booted up. And I kept staring at him, and throughout each single shot, every single toss, every single beat down he kept that same unwavering face.〕 >〔Even when they tore each other apart he kept that same face. And I can tell who was the victor. As he shot down Elf last remaining arm and boost himself just close enough for the pilebunker to slammed deep into her chest and win the match〕 >〔The loud halting crash of it all send shivers of joy down my spine. But that wasnt the part that interests me. No. But instead was his eyes. For they finally changed〕 >〔Set of rows of dots flash before his visor as he began scanning her lifeless body. He stood there a moment before plunging his hand into her skull and ripping out her data chips and consuming them. Soon he spoke〕 >〔"「Arena Combat assessment. Ranking:S2. You've shown alot Elf. You didn't disappoint. More training and youll be the best of the best. Dont disappoint me the next time we fight」"〕 >〔And just like that the whole system shut off by itself. And right before it shut off he stared directly at me: I simply smiled back〕 >〔Soon both waken up though in a daze like state, but that didnt matter. For this spark deep within me. A great curiosity of now only how well his ai systems are but to see where I can improve not only my craft but surpass his as well〕 >〔So dont worry eye, the next time you two fight, she wont disappoint. And youll be praising her name until your very grave〕

Keyword there: the Bunker's closer to a 3rd world shithole than the 2000s America it apes and V *by herself* is around 1/3 of its military. Unless you expect Nameless Guy 2351 to take on the equivelant of several hundred trained soldiers by his lonesome, possibly even a god as well... the normies are as SOL as pic-related.
Hopefully Uzi sees the problem fast enough to cut back on her Junta, because the alternative would be... unfortunate >inb4 Empress Uzi is a nightmarescape where her personal friends can kill more-or-less at will >this actually puts the Humans at ease: proof of (expected) evil means that the drone "state" is a real thing rather than just a big joke at their expense, and likewise that the monster-god's objective has truly changed from "torture" to "tyranny"
>>368185 I was talking about the IRL part. And honestly, Empress Uzi doesn't feel conducive to that, because Empress Uzi more or less requires seeing MD's setting as a world people live in and not a backdrop for Liam smashing his toys together.
>>368187 >>368188 (me) Did anyone else here take it hard when they realized Liam cares about the world he created and wrote in less than they do, or just me?
>when your Russian cheerleader who can't speak a word of English and takes games just as seriously as you gf suddenly starts propositioning you for an immoral makeout session after years of saying she wanted to wait for marriage
>>368187 >>368189 >>368188 Honestly... no. Knowing the level of effort 90% of authors put into their setting(0) and that he absolutely cares about the characters much more than said setting(to the point of clearly workshoping the cast of MD through his other shows e.g. Thad&N in Lets Split Up) I expected his world to be Digital Circus tier shite that existed only to move the plot from visual to visual.
...was I will admit pleasently suprised that even under close scrutiny the worldbuilding is even semi-consistent. Even more so when that worldbuilding actually showed up *in* the plot in interesting or implicit ways(e.g. the other DD teams, the Lab lockers, everything about the Solver). Sure he's no Tolkien but he leaves enough wiggle room (mostly) for the important bits while also characterizing the entire cast extremely well. Would have loved to see more effort in the setting(some spaceships would be nice) but even as the 3rd rate priority of an 8 episode show it mogs more popular series like Percy Jackson or the Hunger Games by miles. Would take a hundred Vickersverses failing to explore interesting ideas("build back better" as JCJ motto, the Cryosleep pods) over one "real life BUT" setting any day even if the latter is theoretically more consistent.
So you think it's a double-cuck situation with Pomni or does she go all in on one? Or even better: do they use their godlike powers("stagnant life" everyone!) to craft whatever fuckable "toy" of a person they want since they are for all intents and purposes immortal and omnipotent? Especially now that they know for sure they can just... leave into the internet, whenever.
>>368215 Not what I'm talking about. I should have reconsidered the way I phrased it, I was refering to the tone wanting to have its cake and eat it. I am predicting you'll say "Actually, it's good that the tone wants to have it both ways!"
>>368189 No. If anything, writing OPAP has made me appreciate Liam's writing more. Plenty of people in this fandom like to tout how much better than canon their fanwork is and you look inside and it's some of the most state bread shit ever that loses the batshit charm of Liam's work. I think one could argue that just caring about something isn't enough to make it good. I obviously care about my own stuff, but I know better than to just assume it's going to be good because I spent 2371873 hours on it or whatever.
>>368207 Once again I remind you that Liam's been working this exact set of characters through 4 worlds already. Hell, I havent even watched SSTWL and I know more than 2 prototypes for half the cast:
>N: Cordie, Klied >Uzi: Waylon, the ghost/scot(gobbelty tobbelty) >Thad: Chadly, the cowboy(GT) >Doll: Kirie, Jo, I'm sure the Russian from Unpaid Redactions but she has no name >Lizzy: the petrodactly(Cliffside), the waitress(Internnection Cube)
And I suspect the only reason I don't have those for V and Cyn (where I "merely" have one for each: Di and IC-0N) is because I'm unfamiliar with SSTWL. Never even imagined he'd care about making a world more than getting these ideas he's been cycling for decades "right."
>>368194 >*your* Russian cheerleader >cheerleader >not belonging body and soul to the Cheer Squad Mafia

>>368208 I will never forgive that series for answering its "how to add meaning to life?" question with "become gods." It's just so utterly unsatisfying as an answer.
>>368134 >LOOK! A WOMAN IN HER UNDERWEAR! ... BUT I PUT HAZARD STRIPES ON HER SO NOW SHE'S A TRUE AND HONEST MD CHARACTER! PS, if you're tired of MD you don't need to keep coming here.
>>368241 Ya know, instead of calling you names or writing you off, I think i'd like to ask just once. Why are you like this? Why is it you spend your time here, waiting to see replies to mutant posts, saying the same things every time, samefaggin, and causing a scene just to be mocked, instead of ignoring what you don't like?
>>368241 No see Cyn killed a guy by turning his genetic sequence into a dyslexic Scrabble board that one time so that means my shitty Look Outside NPCs are totally good!
>>368255 Personally, when I think of “solver mutants” I’m thinking of a point somewhere between necromorphs, the thing, and the cyborg monsters from the movie VIRUS where the closest to normal human you can get would be Cynwalker where some real effort has been made to preserve the humanity of a victims body but evidence of disfiguring forced cyberization is still clearly evident. On the opposite end of the spectrum you’ve just got writhing masses of undefined flesh, teeth and limbs. The other variety of solver mutation we see with Uzi is basically reverse Cynwalker, 80% robot with invasive flesh forcing its way out of their metal shell.
>>368273 It would look more interesting if it were at least slightly more coherent with the existing Solver designs. I'm confused, if you think the shows aesthetic is boring white bread, then why are you even here?
This is my new OC, Llod As you can see she is coherent with the shows design, every possible detail is aligned with Liams core vision of the show. Her backstory? Her parents died. Since this happened in the show I can safely say this is in line with show canon (please tell me if this is out of line with Show canon) Her interests: She's from Ukraine (Please let me know if this is out of line of usable drone ethnicities, I don't) think Liam wrote in his MD gospel about what races are canon to the MD universe. She is one of the three Drone archetypes that is allowed, a Solver Witch. She does Solver Witch things, and nothing more then what's already been shown to happen in the show.
>>368278 Please let me know if a Solver Witch OC is allowed at this time as it might not be coherent with the shows design, given we can assume not that many were made. I thought about making her a Disassembly drone, but then I realized that wouldn’t fit without the shows canon as only a handful were ever made and we don’t know enough to be within Liam’s vision. I then thought of just making her a Worker Drone, but we have feasibly seen all current worker drones in existence.
I’m scared guys I think I fucked up Liam is going to be so mad at me
>>368282 The same asshole who programmed them to be able to experience defocused optics, teenage mood swings, imposter syndrome etc. I would guess this is not super common in baseline factory new drones but develop as artifacts over time. It may be intensified in second generation drones like Uzi because drones were not designed with recombinating personality code “DNA” to create offspring in mind.
>>368157 The Federation looks like a country that emerged through the equal unification of several countries, and since we see that a thousand years later, along with English, there also exists Russian and French, I think that Russia and France participated in this unification.
Alice is simply a bright representative of culture.
>>368182 >Your mech drone wife gives you a jar of pickles >"Honey, please open this, my hands are too big." >"Don't you have a second pair of hands inside the cabin that are normal sized?" >"Huh? Oh, yeah, right..." >Your mech drone wife takes the pickles and leaves >Now she's been frowning all day, and you don't understand why
>>368215 Honestly, I'd really like to see how the drone economy works, because they have money, which means they have a trade flow, and since Uzi has a lot of useless crap to support her emo image, it's starting to seem like they have capitalist. It's fucking stupid to have capitalism in such a closed ecosystem like a bunker, and it defies common sense, but hey, we're at war with the vore Satan here.
>>368299 >>368182 >DD's actually have great lift strength but are shit when it comes to torque and general grip. >Whether this was an oversight by the AS or simply a moment of silliness it has lead to some rather embarrassing instances of disassemblers not being able to change tyres or open pickle jars. >In the case of V she'll pretend that she was doing it to express her affection but in reality she wouldn't admit she can't open one by herself.
>>368221 The problem with the MD world is that it doesn't answer many fundamental questions and exists only as background. There have already been a lot of canon disputes because Liam didn't explain anything and simply added things because it looked cool.
For example, what happened to the singularities of other disassembly drones? Other disassembly drones suddenly appeared and were forgotten just as suddenly, and then anons were divided between those who believe they are now with Uzi, as their administrator, and those who believe they were completely destroyed, since we can't see their singularities on the Uzi display.
Wow, there's been so much discourse lately... might as well join the chaos. >Introducing a new OC: F-13 >Only appears on Friday the 13th. >If she decides you're cute, she'll freeze you in place and add you to her collection like a trophy.
>"It's okay, anon. We all share the same struggles." >"Look at me, for example, I'm a drone and had it way harder than you did." >"I was manufactured on Earth, the richest planet in the federation, and served as personal butler to the heiress of the Elliot family." >"I was revived from death and was turned into an unstoppable genocide twunk with infinite lives." >"Because I was her favorite, the Absolute Solver shielded me from the moral consequences of all my actions." >"Naturally, I'm also a pilot." >"I settled down and married an ascendant goddess and have tons of kids over a number of different realities." >"Just the same chances everyone else got." >N's four-foot long tentacock gives you a reassuring pat on the shoulder >"No matter what struggles you have, you can overcome just like me!"

>>368230 Im pretty sure if she cockblocked Boyzi, then she would be shot in the face by the railgun at some point. Or Doll would just fucking kill Lizzy for getting in the way.
>>368273 Look at the background given in >>319674 and tell me that looks like a random corpse laying around that was reanimated by ambient nanomachines.
>>368336 A compromise: the entire cheer squad, Doll included, has their way with Boyzi. Run a train on him. Aftercare comes in the form of Angela Palmer cuddling with him as she has him watch The Office with her.
>>368339 Sorry, Goonworx busts into the writers room, vores Liam and has Boyzi troon out and join the cheer squad I still can't believe the people who brought Liam in to make drone kino thought that the self inserting 41 percenter was a good pick

On a side note: at what point does Boyzi join the "feeding mom" squad? Because she seems like the kind of girl to let him "in on it" only after they get serious(and Boyzi the kind of guy to at least worry about his gf's family being robocannibals)
>>368342 >>Doll hears of it Reread the post. The idea is she's in on it. Hence, compromise, in light of the Cheer Squad Mafia blood pact mentioned in >>368230. But only for the one time. After that Boyzi is off-limits to the others.

actually would Lizzy be stronger than Uzi in canon? she's taller and (presumably) better maintained right? so you think she'd outmuscle her in practice?(at least before counting Solver shenanigans)
Thought: it’s more narratively coherent for Solver drones to only be able to get sustenance from WDs because otherwise it makes the vampire thing less impactful
The way I conceive of this working given what the show presents us with is that WD oil is fundamentally different from regular oil, and Solver drones can only drink containers of WD oil specifically (analogous to blood bags, used for transfusions) which would be quite rare, as opposed to the much more abundant supply of regular oil varieties, which might take the edge off but doesn’t actually slake the thirst
>>368354 This is good. I like it. One thing: At the start, it feels like it is following Boyzi, but then it changes to Lizzy's perspective in the middle? It confused me a bit, to be honest, maybe a blank line would make the change easier? That is all, maybe I'm just a bit dumb, but I still wanted to give my thoughts.
>>368374 Fair, I wrote this in a rush and forgot to add the segment breaks it needs. Hope I managed to keep Lizzy in-character on both the "treacherous ultrabitch" and "genuinely caring friend" sides though. Got real tired of seeing her portrayed as just "sex woman who sexes"
Also >>368364 You know invincible Lizzy is canon right? Mostly for jokes, but still.
>>368377 It felt like she was an ultrabitch, yes, but also a bitch that wanted to break up the said relationship of Boyzi and Doll because she doesn't like Boyzi more than being a good friend. Since it is mentioned like the things he did, but not exactly the repercussion, it feels like the things he did are not too bad? Mostly because of how worker drones are, they forgave N rather quickly in the series, so I admit, for me it is kind of difficult to see she is trying to be a good friend without saying how the Bunker hates him for that. But then again, it is a me thing, I think.
Which do you think is more likely: Doll learning her "cooking" from her mother, or Doll loving cannibalism so much she wants to make it gourmet? Cause it's got to be one of the two, right?
>>368383 When you're a depressed slob living alone learning a skill, such as cooking, might help get you out of that rut by giving you something to do.
>>368396 I thought you meant the characters from the show until I realized you meant the OCs. I dunno about anyone else but a while back I made a "Cool S" disassembly drone and in my head she sounds like Terezi from "Let's read Homestuck"

>>368396 Can't speak to the rest, but I've got some for the Nuzilets:
>Beretta: Uzi exactly, to a comical degree
>Negev: Uzi but "darker" and "more serious." mostly uses the tones Uzi gave the ep1 presentation with
>Mac: Khan's speech patterns + N's "deep voice"(i.e. the one he uses with "Tessa," talking about "warm oil"). audibly less excited, but also less offputting and the gravel only sneaks in when he's pissed
>Remmy: same, but less thirst-trap
>Akita: mix between Nori's voice and N's speech patterns. deliberately makes her tone as "high/light" as her vocal cords allow to seem less threatening. wants to make hers like Uzi's, but can't get it right
>Colt: exactly manor N. He deliberately "deepens" his voice to sound cooler, but his native tone slips out when happy or excited.
>Arrow: cavewoman/corporate standard mix. learned exclusively from the DD and has no audio or biological relation to the Doormans
>Geist: Cynesque TTS noises. can imitate others via hologram, but making "his own" for a persona always sounds FUBAR and skinwalkerish. just enough "Uzi" undertone to it to make her carapace crawl, but nothing easy to detect. sad/guilty N speech pattern & mannerisms
>>368405 WD Molly sounds like a squeakier kid-friendly Harley Quinn, SD-M(olly) sounds like full-blown psycho Harley Quinn (when she's not tricking a victim), post-war Molly sounds like WD Molly but more hoarse, soft-spoken, and often on the verge of bursting into tears
>>368396 Pavo's as flamboyant as is possible, like Shoreleave. They'd probably get along, since they're both professional murderers with moral justifications and a love of their job.
>>368396 My own two cents on the Nuzilets: >Beretta: Uzi, but with twice as much, for lack of a better description for the tone, resting bitch face. Vocal fry for days whenever she isn't being particularly emotional. >Mac: Somewhere between Max Gilardi and Vinny Vinesauce. Gets heavier on the Vinny when he's exasperated with the Femanons. >Geist: As the OG Geist writefag, ever since a friend of mine I shared his core concept with said he reminded him of Jeff the Spider I always heard him sounding mainly like Jeff. With some dub Shinji (ADV, the SOVLFVL dub) for flavor, especially when he's in private and can talk about his insecurities without feeling the need to put on a brave face. >Negev: Dub (see above) Rei, with Charlie Kelly energy. Has a normal-ish laugh for when she's laughing at normal people things, a triumphant cackle for when she's in a ranty mood and feels like she's won or is imagining herself winning, and a laugh like Dwight Frye's and Peter MacNicol's Renfields for when she's chuckling conspiratorially to herself. >Colt: Napoleon Dynamite minus autism. >Akita: Uzi, but younger and without the "I am so desperate for attention that I don't care if I'm utterly humiliating myself and turning everyone against me" energy. >>368402 I always figured Geist as using his own voice for all his 'sonas. That and all of them having yellow eyes like he (technically) does is how he lets everyone tell they're him. He hasn't practiced doing any other eyes, or making holograms of other people, or imitating people's voices, because he's scared that if he knew how to become a completely different person from himself then he'd be one bad day away from trying to give himself ego death.
>>368396 >>368413 (me) Remmy's the same story as Mac, since he's the Berenestein timeline/Mandela dying in prison timeline/post-Made in Heaven/Steel Ball Run-iverse version of him. And lest I forget, >Arrow (I can't be the only one who liked Oneida as a name, can I?): basically Mommy Long Legs (specifically the lower voice she does when she's pissed at you and sharing how she really feels), but with more or less the same cadences and inflections as Roy Batty.

Honestly going by what I suspect drone operational lifespans to be(2-5 years avg) N would be older and by a lot. Even assuming a post-collapse pre-series lul of about 5 years, that still makes him chronologically 10 when he has Uzi vs N's "probably 2 when repaired, 5 when converted, 25 by the time he made planetfall and 45 by series start" position. Hell, there's a good chance Khan wasn't even manufactured yet when N was being DD converted: there's a reason people did the age discourse thing back when the show was running
Trust me: the retards are aware. It took >confirmation of teenhood(by N) + >confirmation of teenhood(by Liam) + >canon Nuzi to make the bitch brigade fuck off and even to this day you'll se the occasional "age gap" post by some first watcher retard (or worse: eNVyfags still fighting the war) go "N is pedo" like he wasn't being dragged around by the collar for the entire series.
...downside is this makes most of said retards believe N is actually, chronologically 19 instead of 50+ with all attendant idiocies both there and on Ao3. Still better than seeing artists harassed out of their interest (Rest In Peace literally every Cyncest artist) but even contained stupidity is still frustrating.

That's only in our jurisdiction and Mr. Monster, at 1500 Waylon, is juuuuuust barely out of the county: he's 22's problem." >goodness that's >that's... >kind of disappointing, actually >(you) took this job to help people y'know! >seems... bad, not helping officers in need like that "It's the rules for a reason! Plus we're just local PD. That stuff's the army's job..." >Molli looks (you) up and down >you're fidgeting >a little >ok maybe a lot: your balloon animals wouldn't finish half this fast normally "It's... gonna be fine. They're real deal save-the-day types, alright? And hey: nobody's been hurt yet!" >Molli checks back through the file >grimaces "Ok, nobody's been killed yet, but still. It's not, like, the end of the world or something. And if it is..." >she slugs (you) in the shoulder with all the force her 3'6 frame can muster >it's adorable "We protect our own, right?" >yeah, Molli's right >nothing to worry about >...and if it is >if he crosses over to here >if things get Bad... >you've got backup! >plus: it's not like he's a... a real monster... THAT monster, right? >not even one of its creations! >he's just a person! >what is there to be afraid of?
>Arrow killed the game >she didn't *beat* it >now visions of SEGA bullshit assail her every night, her subconcious coming back to the unresolved pathways again and again >being a cavewoman, Arrow takes this as a full-blown curse >cue shenanigans
Had a dream where Glitch had a collaboration with OpenAI and GateBox and released an AI that was just the AbsoluteSolver in a "totally safe" tube. For 1000 dollars you could get the deluxe version that came with a projector that gave the AI an avatar that would be projected onto a wall. I woke up just as mine came in the mail and I'm so pissed because I had ordered the Cyn package and had JUST put the hoodie on (it came with a hoodie)

>>368498 No, at least not before I woke up. It was a big box with the JCJenson branding on the top. You open it and there's the hoodie with some in-universe lettering about "being a new lab assistant to test this ai". So you take the hoodie out, and it's like the kind of company merch with a little logo on the breast, name tag, etc. Then the inside of the box was like this underneath. I'm pissed that it's not real, because for a few minutes after I woke up I thought I had gotten robbed. I REALLY LIKED that hoodie, it was comfy and had that good "winter second-skin" weight and bagginess to it. It was perfect.
>>368500 Dunno, looks like a solver goontube to me, a Cyn in a jar if you will I feel you, I often dream about finding old warhammer kits in stores for pennies and then waking up pissed knowing I in fact did not get 5 retro screamer killers for the price of a TV dinner
>Your DD waifu/husabando uses their claws to scar your face so that "you become too ugly for anyone else" >This backfires >Other DD's now try to get you by explaining how they would never do such a thing (lies) >Worker drones think you're a broken uwu human they can fix >Grunt drones think those are cool combat scars >Sentinel Drones have more fuel for their Total Disassembler Death fire and now have a princess (regardless of your gender) to rescue >You were to ugly for other humans in the first place so nothing changes here
>>368504 >DD scars you >This backfires is a much more annoying way >Every day. Every single day, you put on the facepaint >She almost dreads seeing you walking down the stairs >You lick your red-painted lips dramatically and begin your daily monologue >You can feel her eyes rolling even before she turns to you >"You wanna know how I got these scars? My lover, was a disassembler, and a fiend...." >gets so bad she is trying to get her solver to hybridize with you to regen your face and take the ammo out of your barrel >Eventually she succeeds, and rips off your scarred face to put on a fresh new mass of solver flesh >But you anticipated this, and have been working on your impressions >"No one cared who I was until I put on the mask"
Guys, what do you do when your Sentinel Drone is very racist? Like really whenever I watch the TV with my wife and there is a commercial she complains about how "They are pushing Solver burning and race mixing" or that "The murdoids shouldn't be shown on TV" whenever there is a DD actor, I was kinda of sick of this so we talked and now she has a bell she rings to vent her frustrations, problem is she already broke three bells she used for this
