I assume this is the board to talk about it on. Do you like Arc so far? I think the fights are really nice since they don't skimp out on the imagination theme and do some neat stuff, but the writing could be better.
>>420089 It's because the Ultra Series was built on the idea of doing Godzilla movies on a TV budget and runtime. I can't get into Kamen Rider at all because he's not fighting giant monsters.
I haven't really been keeping up with recent Ultraman too much (last I watched was some episodes of Blazar) but I really enjoyed watching Mebius and Geed back when. Ultraman as a whole is a very consistant toku franchise where you basically know what you're gonna get at a baseline quality that's in pretty high ranges. Hell even Ultra Q and the first Ultraman series hold up incredibly well for 60s TV special effects shows.
