Brand new /jam/ General; let's start with some spicy content.
Well-known tittycow-drawing mangaka turns out to be pedo buying porn from Germany. Let's see if he gets off as easily as the creator of Rurouni Kenshin in terms of punishment. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2021-12-19/police-arrest-please-tell-me-galko-chan-creator-kenya-suzuki-for-importing-child-porn/.180797
>>418277 How long has Black Dog been around and doing what he loves? Remember seeing his 'fan comics' on hentai sites as far back as I've been looking at oriental pornographic art.
This is /a/ AND /co/, but I will post here because /co/ gets too much traffic. Gotta redistribute to get that sweet equity: https://obanstarracers.com/osr-15th-anniversary-event/
>>418362 Started actually reading the manga of this, its pretty good and would recommend checking out. Though the wife assassin having anime superpowered physical abilities sort of clashes with the rest which is relatively grounded by comparison, even more than the little girl being able to read minds.
Its hardly a reason to avoid reading the series, just sticks out. The boat arc in particular gets really hardcore 'anime' with it.
>>418531 Not really surprising to be honest. >Jojo is 7th place This could maybe work, if they allow Clint Eastwood to make it. Clock is ticking on that one, sadly.
>>418804 That could be from after he died. Claims are the cause of death was a heart attack which is pretty common for older manga authors with their unhealthy lifestyles.
Wonder how long it will be until the NEXT famous creator of anime & manga has either died or been revealed to have been engaging in the trade of cheese pizza.
A composer for IDOLM@STER is in trouble for sexual indecency against teenage girls? Ironic... https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2022-10-24/anime-game-music-composer-hidekazu-tanaka-arrested-for-alleged-attempted-sexual-assault/.191183
Honestly its kind of lame the protagonist already starts off with Bit weapons on their Suit, and that the story takes place at a special Academy (which is pretty much just a more posh form of highschool bullshit that japanese can't get enough of).
>>419370 Surprised I missed this announcement, this completely flew under my radar in comparison to all other announcements around this time. Perhaps it was contained to /vt/ but I can’t imagine the state of /a/ once the inevitable hololive anime is announced one day
Its a shame but it seems like it will be a decent conclusion at least, better to have an ending than drag a series out for fucking ever. Wonder if the anime will be good, though I don't tend to watch anime much anymore especially of manga that I've read.
>>419670 The over-reliance on CGi today means nobody plans any scene. Lighting? Will be done later. Background? Will be chosen later. Shadows? Will be done later. It's not that CGi bad, it's just nobody cares anymore, and it can be FELT.
Random thought; really feels as if Sasuke should have been a chick, this would certainly have been the result with how gay things got between them already. Hell their female love interests are pretty tacked-on and could have been stripped from the plot with no real loss.
>>419693 I was about to argue that Femsuke wouldn't just sit around pumping out babies until I realized that Naruto would have taught her Shadow Clone Jutsu so that there's just a breeding Femsuke they can leave at home
>>419745 Presumably you'd have to have the original pumping out babies while the copies are working, shadow clones aren't stable enough to exist through 9 months of pregnancy.
You really don't want one poofing out of existing midway through, would cause quite a mess...
>Buichi Terasawa, manga artist of "Cobra" and "Goku Midnight Eye," has passed away at the age of 68 https://mainichi.jp/articles/20230911/spp/000/006/118000c
Dungeon Meshi/Delicious in Dungeon was alot like Fullmetal Alchemist for me, just a quality manga the entire way through with an ending that left me satisfied.
Coincidentally they were both made by female creators, but that seems more simply a little funfact than particularly relevant.
The Dragon, The Hero and The Courier is a manga I've been enjoying alot recently.
Its another setting manga setting where rpg 'class levels' and 'stats' exist and adventurers are common but it does such a setting much more interestingly compared to the usual slop, helps that it isn't a fighting manga. Also the author seems to know their stuff when it comes to middle age european society.
The first chapter is a little weak honestly but it quickly picks up from there.
>>419985 Christ he actually had passed away, this is the first I've heard of it. Of course the companies are more than well prepared to keep milking his series after his death... even if the guy they've got to succeed him with Super is fucking garbage.
>>420055 Tekken never made any sense in that regard. You have a dude with a tiger head, an alien robot samurai, a giant demon, and a dinosaur all in a virtua fighter clone.
