I haven't seen it. Did they really have all the monsters exist in the same house? In the comic, they had different protags for the different girls, sometime you'd even see one of them passing the other in a car or so.

In the actual proper series that spunoff from those there's just one MC dude and he ends up a harem lead with like 7 monster girls crammed into his house (There's a bunch of other monster girl characters on top of this of course)
Would have been better if it had kept just him and the (first) snake girl living together, and wasn't being dragged out as much as it is.

Or they could've just have something like every other episode they switch to another protag and his life with a different monster girl... You could still return to another character later down the line when some new difficulty arises, or have the different protags eventually meet each other, or have something like their cousin coming along asking them to introduce to a girl like that and so on. Real worldbuilding opportunity there, instead of making just another generic harem anime.
