Broforce is an amazing game, pretty psyched that its going to get a content update after all this time. The thing came out in 2015, you wouldn't expect them to come back and give it a big 'final update' especially when the game was finished and not lacking anything originally.
>>424504 >Its survival mode is sort of like all those "Vampire Survivor" genre games that became super popular to flood the market with in recent times.
Not sure what you mean by that, original Crimsonlands survival mode scaled in such a way that eventually you had this huge blob of monsters you had to herd around, waiting for the poison powerup to randomly kill one or two of them.
The HD remaster screwed that up, after several years of rebalancing they removed nearly all the tactics you had in the original, and now you just have to chain the Reflex Boost (one of the perks gives you 4x damage under reflex boost) indefinitely for 2 hours to get a high score.
Still pissed they changed the "click fast to reload faster" powerup, if you held down the button you could reload nearly instantly but you had to manually fire your gun. It allowed you to rapid fire the "cannon" type weapons (low clip size, low fire rate, high damage per shot). Firing the Plasma Cannon as fast as the minigun was hilarious, and you could use its blowback to permanently keep monsters away from you.
>>424529 >The HD remaster screwed that up Isn't that basically always the case with HD Remasters? They always turn out to be worse to play than the original gaming experience because they've fucked it up somehow, the only advantage is when they are versions of old ass games that are made to play on modern computers.
