His Ann is really cute. I am a big fan of the :3 expressions he gave her. They make her seem a little more goofy and awkward than other Ann designs.

That was what I was thinking too but I thought they might be standees to display extra doll clothes and that underwear would make more sense in that context.

Glad to hear it. A big part of the reason I find these characters so fascinating is how many insanely talented people worked on their cartoons which is why I like the production art so much.
The A Musical Adventure model sheets in particular are absolutely dripping with love for animation as an art form.

I have considered attempting to make a Raggedy Ann doll that is on-model to her A Musical Adventure design. No enhancements though. My obsessive love for Raggedy Ann is entirely platonic. It would be cool to make her a little skeleton out of PVC pipes or something so she could articulate and hold poses for display.

I guess I get it but making it a love thing really cheapens Ann forgiving Babette despite everything that she did. She would do the same for any of Marcella's toys because it is just in her nature to care about others.

Exactly, which is obviously what the movie was trying to show. Babette was just an extension of Ann’s general kindness, nothing romantic there, though again, it’s just a dumb headcanon
