Thoughts on the Legion of Doom? What would your ideal roster be? These guys don't usually have a reason to work together, so I find it funny when they team up solely to counter the heroes. It's also kinda weird to think that a proper Legion of Doom didn't actually exist in main canon until like 2018, you'd think DC would've done it earlier.
>>474687 What kind of flakey evil mastermind pauses halfway through putting together a membership list for a potential supervillain team, thinks to himself "we've gotta bring Bizarro in on this", and then commits to it?
>>475008 Actually why HASN'T this ever happened? Luthor and the Joker have teamed up plenty but Circe's never been thrown into the mix as far as I can recall. They're basically the Evil Trinity, if you think about it, or they should be.
Maybe it's just a reflection of how in actuality nobody gives a shit about Wonder Woman.
>>475013 >Actually why HASN'T this ever happened? On the strength of this >>475008 picture, Circe's application will continue to be rejected until she adds adds some purple accents to her dress.
>>475060 >Cluemaster >Dr. Trap >Rampage (and an unwilling Kitty Faulkner) >Blackguard Just at the top of my head, definitely some International villains too, for obvious reasons.
>>475013 Usually when Luthor and Joker team up in the Legion, they use Cheetah as their designated Wondy villain. And when Luthor and Circe teamed up around Rebirth, Ra's al Ghul was their Batman representative. I'm just waiting for when Circe and Joker team up, but instead of Luthor, they have Zod or something.
>>475138 In YJ she's a Lord of Chaos sent to earth by her peers because Klarion keeps fucking up, but Child was originally an Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld (Vol 2) villain.
>>475070 When was the last time DC did something interesting with Zod anyway? I don't keep up with modern DC due to them hitting the Crisis reset switch so much, so I have no idea what's going on in current continuity.
>>477376 >Star Sapphire Is she back to being a villain and I haven't noticed? If you want a GL villainess, Fatality is your best bet. Much hotter than Carol too

>>477379 >Is she back to being a villain and I haven't noticed? The complete opposite actually, she's now a full on hero and the main Lantern of the JL.
>>477397 >Rulk goes around making all the strongest characters in Marvel job to him >Gets his shit totally stomped by grrl power Two great extremes in the shit-tier professional wrestling pushing early career he had
>>477376 You’re not even trying. With little effort you coild compile an interesting lineup like say
Silver Banshee Veronica Cale Giganta Orca Blackfire Scandal Savage Bleez Lady Vic Ursa Mist II Margaine le Fey Dr. Poison Shado Mother Machine Cheshire Scorpiana Killer Frost Lady Clay Terra
>>477434 >Veronica Cale She brings nothing to the table dynamic or powerset wise, even if she's supposed to be WW's Luthor. Waller is the stand in for Luthor. Does it make sense? Don't care.
Do you guys think the real reason the Penguin has an iceberg themed club is so all of those Bruce Timm girls get chilly and have hard nipples? I think that's worthy enough reason for Cobblepot to be part of the legion.
>>477786 The scene where Hal just reaches out for the Star Sapphire out of her belly raised a lot of questions in my head. Does she just have a marsupial pouch in that form? Can she keep her wallet there? Some snacks in case she gets hungry? If there's anything else inside her when the gem is removed, does it just lay in her normal body as a result?
>>474687 >These guys don't usually have a reason to work together its actually funny how most of the members seen in the superfriends could never be in the legion except in the superfriends >braniac wants to blow up/bottle the earth, the legion would team up with the league if anything to stop him >sinestro has zero concern for earthly wealth or fame, literally his only reason to be there would be to fight one of the human GLs and then leave right after >no sane legion member would allow the riddler on the team because he makes crimes easier to solve >gorilla grodd would turn everyone else into apes and no other legion member would sign off on that if they knew (this is an actual plot point in JL)
villains who could conceivably work together >lex, since he would have experience running a large, vast, organization like lexcorp and would be half the reason the legion doesnt implode due to infighting >captain cold just wants to get paid >black manta just wants to rule atlantis >cheetah changes motivations practically every writer, so you can just make something up as long as she can justify fighting wonder woman >scarecrow would take any excuse to fund his fear gas research and would only be too happy for a team up >solomon grundys simple mind makes him easy to manipulate
>>476522 if cheetah is strong enough to fight wonder woman hand to hand, she would easily be among the highest ranked members of the legion
any attempt to pursue her would end with her just killing you in the middle of the hideout for thinking you were even close to worthy or breaking your pelvis with snu-snu due to super strength, super durability, and her animalistic nature
>>481470 >any attempt to pursue her would end with her just killing you in the middle of the hideout for thinking you were even close to worthy Unless she's in heat
>>481470 Joker would fuck her no problem, he's got reflected Batgod plot armor that lets him cow other villains instantly and make them do what he wants even though if things were written properly they'd kill him in a second.
>>474687 >>474933 Biz doesn't really belong. He works best as a reformed, misunderstood anti-hero at worst, and really more like an ally with a different perspective as he, by and large, has been for almost the past decade, save for Cereal Lord's Trinity War/Forever Evil BS.
>>474977 >>475010 There's nothing wrong with Biz, he was simply picked at the time because he was easy short-hand for 'pick someone for Superman' - same reason we got Giganta for Wonder Woman or Cheetah for WW. While Superfriends really helped certain villains, like Black Manta and Sinestro become better known (and really that's a perfect example of how cocaine sniffing suits fucked up the RR Green Lantern movie, it should have just been a fun origin story, mostly in space, with training/Heroe's Journey montages, and better CGI, and no real villain other than introducing alien territorial disputes, but introducing Sinestro as a GL teammate so that the sequel could go all Wrath of Khan, Sinestro Corp/Villain's Journey, etc.
Manta got that with the two Mamoaman movies, even if the last one was weirdly OP.
>>481469 I'd argue Brainiac, Sinestro and Grodd are all able to change and adapt their goals and work with a team of villains, they've all done it before, at the end of the day they're all working together towards the same goal of beating the good guys, as long as they can beat up on Superman, Green Lantern and Flash, they can be team players. I agree with you on Riddler tho, even when he does team ups in Gotham, he tends to fuck over his teammates because of his riddle bullshit. I could see this being written around in some way, but I feel like his autism would still fuck them over in some way.
>>481589 bizarro and solomon grundy have a lot of interlap, so one makes the other kind of redundant
>dumb muscle >can counter superman (bizarro has all of supes powers, while solomon grundy is magic) >easily manipulated into serving the legions interests >can be relied upon to be too stupid to be bribed maybe the main difference is that bizarro can be convinced that the justice league are good (therefore evil) and lex is bad (therefore good) and so bizarro will be a real superman if he works for lex while solomon grundy can just flat out be controlled with voodoo or be handed sacks of coins like mr monopoly to appeal to his 1920s gangster brain
>>481818 I just never got the appeal for Grundy in modern books. If some GA and SA characters stopped being used, especially being used in any great length, there was no reason for Grundy to exist, he's mostly pointless.
