What's left to look forward to?
There was a thread before the crash pointing out how the board seemed to be pretty dead and I'm genuinely curious if we blew our load on animation too early this year.
Say what you want about the constant Invincible threads, they were still life to the board.

Do you really have any optimism over a modern Disney sequel?
inb4 Bad Guys 2
Sure it can be "fine" but lets be honest, /co/ talked about Ruby fucking Gillman more than any DreamWorks film in recent memory sans The Last Wish albeit for the wrong reasons.

Unironically, indie. Also, I know that new glitch show (not picrel) is coming out soon, so good for them. The big three has failed animation just like 4chan failed chan culture, and fittingly enough both are crashing down with the small players having the chance to act now

I personally only went on /co/ for the webcomics update lately. Which means Unsounded and gunnerkrig (and a pinch of whomp). No cartoon has really caught my attention since I was massively disapointed by Arcane S2. Invincible is ok, but it's just a retell of an old comic, there's no way to get hype from it.

western animation's industry has been fucking us and the artists over more than ever. even most of the youtube indie shows are the same shit ripping off what vivzie's doing. if we need actually good animation to watch, we would have to go overseas. europe's likely to have some of that stuff, and that's how we found wakfu before.

I mostly just watching old shows that I enjoyed as a kid but didn't get to watch them completely. I finished Clarence recently, now I'm watching Chowder and Flapjack.

>hardly anyone noticed the new Wallace & Gromit movie came out

The absolute state of animation.

Everybody wants to make "high quality" Netflix shows these days, but really those things blows, it's so stiff and souless. I can't stand MIR and their copycats anymore.

Swift
Asterix & the Big Fight. Was pretty fun, looks just like the comic. They added some new plot lines and characters and started by adding the prequel comic about Obelix falling into the magic potion as episode 1, but it was still really funny. Same team as those who made Mansions of the Gods, I think.
