>>441647 Steven Universe's ending doesn't tie up any of the lot points or ideas they had on the side, only like three characters get their arcs concluded, and of course the villain is talked down into not being evil anymore Not only that but Future's ending made it worse by not concluding anybody but Steven's story There's so many things wrong with Steven Universe besides the ending. It's a show with so much squandered potential
>>441652 >Steven Universe's ending doesn't tie up any of the lot points or ideas they had on the side, only like three characters get their arcs concluded, and of course the villain is talked down into not being evil anymore Yeah, the whole diamond redemption thing was kinda dumb. As for the other part i'm fine with not everything being tied up. I don't think leaving things loose or open is really a bad thing. >Not only that but Future's ending made it worse by not concluding anybody but Steven's story I'm fine with this too because Future is completely Steven's story, it all revolved around him.
>>441645 Any place where I can find more fanart and fanfics of this idea. I think it's a cool and comfy concept, but I couldn't find a lot of stuff on 4chan's /co/ archives. Mostly just mentions and isolated fanarts rather than long lasting discussion.
>>445226 I mean, it also plays around with the original setting a bit. Like that villain who sets post-Future Steven against Crystal Gems and others by exploiting his mommy issues as well as the fact that Connie rejected his proposal.
>>446454 >>446452 Even if activity would be lacking, it'd still be nice to have a place where you can post new Stella shit when the /co/ thread currently isn't up.
I am a bit surprised that there are still a bit of interest in /co/ about Stella and her uncles. Although I guess they are only gonna appear on SU and tomboy threads.
Retarded jannies in pastebin took down my thread collection. Gonna have to make a new one soon. I will post it here in case there are some who still have a bit of interest in the idea.
i've never been a the biggest fan of metal men as a name. it'd doesn't fit in with the actual show's naming convention and is just pretty silly. Metal Men show be the name of Stella's team and the actual species should either be simply called metals or ores. i also have an issue with the names of the two civilizations but i'm mostly being an autistic sperg at this point
>>466788 Sounds alot better than SU, where the limpwristed writers couldn't commit to the Homeworld being genocidal monsters despoiling their way across the cosmos despite their on-screen actions and had to resort to pathetic handwaves to soften everything.
>>467298 Being autistic spergs is how this AU came to be so there is nothing to worry about. I do agree with Metal Men being the name for Stella's band of metal uncles, though. The entirety of the metal race could have a different naming scheme. Perhaps something greek or latin or old germanic in origin? Something that is not too familiar sounding to an english word.
>>472321 Fair enough. I’ve mostly just been weirdly fixated on the whole AU and have made a bunch of greentexts featuring my own take on it. I might post a paste bin of them here due to the low traffic and ideally I’ll actually draw out some of my /co/ncepts once I learn to artfag.
>>472542 Looks nice, but I think I'd personally prefer a "colder" color for background like white or gray. It seems more in-line with them being a nation of robots.
>>472543 Fair enough i mainly went red both to reference ol Red, not being a true ruler but always plotting in the back. And because I thought it would better represent the “passionate” nature of the metals than grey would. For comparison I also made a pre-rebellion flag for the gems
>>472313 Boy, feels weird seeing my old drawing still get posted around. Might be fun to go back and revisit some of the bits I made for these old threads.
