>The scene originates from the fourth issue of the series All-New Ultimates published by Marvel Comics. The issue was released on June, 2014. It was written by Michel Fiffe and penciled by Amilcar Pinna. The context of the scene sees minor character Poey Ponsor, a drug dealer and boyfriend of lead character Bombshell (Lana Baumgartner), getting killed by an unidentified assailant, who is later in the issue identified as a member of the drug gang Serpent Skulls. In the previous issue, Poey had shown Lana to a warehouse where the Skulls kept their supply. They were trailed by Lana's fellow New Ultimate, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), which resulted in a skirmish that saw the warehouse destroyed. After he hangs up from calling Lana to say goodbye, Poey begs for his life and is murdered. His killer uses a mango as a silencer, resulting in the onomatopoeia "Shpff."
It was a pretty shitty page so people had fun editing it (or editing the mango into different things), the original edit being anon removing the gun from the scene so the killer was just threatening the dude with a mango.
