>>439138 Welp. looks like I discovered another bug (at least on my machine+OS+browser combination). The video plays and pauses just fine BUT skipping freezes the image, while the sound keeps playing as normal.
KOATI - Official Trailer (2021) New animated movie, cute non-anthro snake lady villain. Plot seems to borrow a lot from the Lion King and Land Before Time (with the whole "we have to relocate to the promised land" cliche) but uses South American animals, so that's a nice change - apart from Rio not many animal movies use those.
>>439086 Umm, that's how it always is done. Once the previous one stops bumping we make a new one. Otherwise, why bother posting if nobody will see it since it is at the bottom nobody checks at?
>>439088 Luckily, you are not a mod. I will never understand you, you are clearly a closet furry because I see you enough in this topic and the adult ones, yet you always try to speak up against furries. Seems to me you have some identity crisis going on. Best solve that yourself and stop lashing out at us.
>>439148 >you are clearly a closet furry >you always try to speak up against furries >and stop lashing out at us Where and when did I utter the legendary "I'm not a furry" phrase? Where and when do I "fursecute"? Who am I "lashing out" at, and when? Please provide sources before you accuse.
All I remember doing that probably upset you are: –Telling you to please not post non-cartoon content on +/co/ –Saying that suggestive material belongs on /pco/ (that is apparently a crime) –Mentioning how I don't watch shows I consider bad just because it has animals in it (this is apparently a crime) –Mentioning a few times how there are too many of these threads here and how it [i]might[i] annoy other posters to see them on every page of +/co/
>>439154 Oh yeah, and –I said a few times you don't have to write every time who a character is, and where she/he comes from (source). This is not the typical 4chan/+4chan way of doing things, this is not board culture. You told me to shut up, and mind my own business. And so I did. That was years ago.
Quick Swift, I'll distract him and you make a break for it! Filly Funtasia English Trailer (I'll assume this is kosher since it's a knock-off) Also there's a fem dragon. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7ze8ws And a spooder somewhere too.
>>439156 Twst, I know you sometimes occasion /trash/, therefore I know that you know about the whole sauce/spoonfeeding meme and how 4ch generally feels about that sort of thing.
https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/Brightest-Day/Issue-5?id=22152 Found this sexy lioness in DC'sd Brightest Day crossover event. She is from a race called Lion-Manes and they team up with Hawkman to fight Shayera's evil egyptian mom who is somehow still alive, while the writer retcons anything he can about the Hawks... Anyway, here, have some cute lion boobs.
>>439154 When you say stuff like how you want the old topics to be deleted? Why the hell would you say that? And then you always speak up whenever anyone posts actually sexy anthro stuff as if you weren't posting the same in the /pco. I have been here long enough, I noticed. Basically I think you are a giant hypocrite. >>439160 I wasn't talking to you. And anyway considering how quickly every possible fetish is added to the rainbow flag, how long do you think until we furries are gonna be just another color on there? LOL. Can't wait. It'll be hilarious when cartoon shows will be forced to include anthro characters or be declared "anti-furry"... ;) (I am being sarcastic here, but pssst do not tell him).
>>439156 So what? You think because I didn't care about that and have been posting this way for years because I want posts to be informative and have merit, not just paper scraps flying in the wind, and have been doing it this way for like, a decade, I will suddenly stop and just drop in random images without explanation because you said so? Not a chance, bub.
Girls, girls, you're both pretty. 'Nother new-as-of-last-year show, Onyx Monster Mysteries, a cartoon spinoff of the Onyx Family. Bunch of kids rescuing talking cryptids. Most of the eps appear to be on YT though only half were airing on the app I found it on. About 50/50 male-female. You know which ones I'm going to post. First up, Cerberus.
>>439205 That reminds me, there's another one that was supposed to be released last year but got killed by the coof that's just showing up on streaming sites, Jiang Ziya. Not overtly furry but there's a few characters of interest and the main villainess is a fox spirit.
New trailer for Sing 2. Gotta say Porsche looks nice in that green bodysuit, as much as I am not a fan of this "big head on thin body" style. https://www.imdb.com/video/vi3084043033?ref_=hm_hp_i_1&listId=ls053181649
>>439171 Never heard of Onyx Family, is this a new show? From the design looks to be made for little kids, or no?
>>439210 Pretty sure that already came out. It just had a really dumb english title called Legend of Deification. https://kimcartoon.li/Cartoon/Legend-of-Deification Poor fox demon lady she was totally done dirty in the movie. I felt she has every reason to want to kill the main hero given that her whole species was betrayed and hunted to extinction. Movie was rather hard to follow too, as we are not given an explanation early on why having fox ears is such a horrific thing for this girl, when she walks into a tavern populated with far more horrifying monsters.
Anyway, this bunny geisha lady who appears for a few seconds only was to me the most memorable thing about the movie. :P
Sadly this is the most anthro the fox demon ever gets. Also never removes the mask. Why is the mask such a big part of kitsune folklore in both Japan and China?
>>439239 They're some famous-on-youtube family I never heard of. The cartoon is probably elementary aged rather than preschooler. Episodes are pretty short. (not all the cryptids talk either There's a non-talking female kraken that's a regular)
>>439242 Yeah the release got pushed back by covid though, and it's in syndication run on the free sites now. Should've known you'd have a pic of that girl. She flashes by so quick I wasn't even certain what species she was. Her and the oni mom where about the only other females. Fox demon did have some small but noticeable boobs.
The opening sequence had me stoked before they switched to cgi. If they'd done an entire movie in that style, it'd have blown the doors off anything in the west and more than a few anime.
https://www.imdb.com/video/vi466993945?ref_=hm_hp_i_1&listId=ls053181649 I almost forgot this Rumble movie is coming this year. Some nice monster designs, though I find the main villain/rival wrestler sharktopus guy to be far better looking than our main monster.
>>439267 It's probably from the BluRay. It has that ratio, I think.
Anyone seen this? Pretty terrible Calarts style "show within a show" of Care Bears and Denver the Last Dinosaur... Complete with edgy nonsense like Denver committing suicide. WTF. Netflix really doesn't know how to do a proper nostalgic toon.
>>439245 Hmm, thanks for that shot! Yeah I got lucky and spotted the bunny gal. Oni mom was nice too indeed. On the male side, there was this croc and minotaur guy - they only have a brief scene though. Agreed that the opening had a better style. CGI was not bad though. I mostly wish the movie explained more. I mean imagine if we got the Disney Hercules movie like this, if it never explained who the various gods are or how his demigod nature worked.
>>439332 Also the Guy who turns into a leopard. Chinese Mythology can be pretty convoluted in it's own right. I gathered he was deified for his role in defeating the fox spirit. Wiki article for the novel it's based on seems to confirm. Speaking of, I see someone one on 4ch's latched on to the kirin/dragon thing already. They posted this, which makes it seem very...feminine: Jiang Ziya, NeZha, Ao Bing and Sun Wukong have formed an idol group: Shen! here's their first MV! Still need to see the other two movies. The Monkey king one's been out a while. The second, Ne Zha, is apparently the previous installment to Jiang Ziya, though it deals with a different part of the book.
Thankfully, woke world aside, they still let Bugs cross-dress even today.
>>439333 Well Nehza was done by the same studio, I feel they will eventually make these franchises cross over, Avengers style. I forgot they made a Monkey King movie, or was that the weird cyberpunk one? Nezha was pretty good. But if you mean the cyberpunk movie, that and Nezha are definitely not the same continuity, he doesn't even look the same. I checked actually, and this Monkey King model is from their first movie, from 2015: https://kimcartoon.li/Cartoon/Monkey-King-Hero-Is-Back

>>439334 I thought Sega learned their lessons since Shadow, and did not make Sonic characters dual-wielding guns anymore? especially not quadruple-wielding. :D
Nice busty high society bear lady neighbor in this one! Petunia totally "fixes" her garden... by utterly destroying it. Needless to say, she ain't happy. But it turns out OK at the end.
Image:163874317399.jpg(86kB, 1920x1080)White Snake 2 - Green Snake (278).jpg
White Snake 2, Electric Boogaloo! https://kimcartoon.li/Cartoon/White-Snake-2-Green-Snake Honestly, only watched for sexy rotating-head kitsune lady. Apparently, her name is Baoqing Fox.
>>439369 Half of these are not on their youtube. Where do you get them? And I see they added a new kitty, the reddish furred one on the right.
https://kimcartoon.li/Cartoon/Santa-Inc Well, even the worst show of the year has some furry content. As Nostalgia Critic would say, "I watched it so you didn't have to". Am not kidding here, I really do not recommend anyone to watch this horrible unfunny Christmas-mocking feminist "comedy" by Robot Chicken's creators. But anyway, have some shots of Goldie the reindeer lady.
>>439386 >https://www.tiktok.com/@titolizzardo?lang=en Ah thanks. I heard about tiktok but honestly, never checked it out yet, given the content I see referenced from there on youtube I assumed there is nothing of interest there...
>>439243 Masks originate from kabuki (costumed theater) performances, and their popularity has seen them appear in other festivals and events. Needless to say, masks were created for human actors originally. Wearing a mask isn't part of folklore itself really.
Found an episode. Seems the title means Monsters in the Forbidden City, and yes, it is partially live action, the main kids turn into CGI anime kids when they enter the Forbidden City and meet mythical beings. https://www.nunuyy.top/dianshiju/90008.html Bird girl (I think it is a female?) appears for one shot.
WTF Marvel did an adaptation of A.E. van Vogt's Black Destroyer, the classic story the makers of Alien got sued for ripping off? (and yes, that thing is also apparently the inspiration for the displacer beast)
Also threw some stuff over in /jam/. Probably nothing anybody hasn't seen before.
>>439446 >>439446 Just looked this series up and almost the whole thing is adaptations of classic SF, as well the related series Unknown Worlds Of Science Fiction. Which reminds me, I've been sitting on this for a while. An adaptation of van Vogt's The Last Voyage Of The Albatross, from the similar Whitman series Starstream. Went back through the threads and if I posted it before I can't find it. Full issue at RCO: https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/Starstream/Issue-3?id=126018#2 The fem liz gets several more panels.
>>439448 Jorgot, Sturgeon's Microcosmic God from the same issue also briefly shows reptilians while one features more prominently in Phoenix Planet from issue 2.
>>439446 I heard about this one being where Gygax took the Displacer Beast from, yeah. Speaking of blue cats, ever heard of this one? https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17237929-jungfrulig-planet It's swedish, but available online. I put it through DeepL but have yet to read it. Seems to be about some diplomat guy stopping the exploitation of a newly discovered planet, while hooking up with the sexy blue furred "Cat from Catworld" (her species doesn't really have names). Another book I bet James Cameron has read... :P
Dunno if I posted about her yet, Inukai from The Flying Witch. Her deal is that she got drunk with the main character's sister and ate some cookies that turn people into animals, in her case, she turned into an anthro dog by day, only looking human by night. Needless to say, she wasn't happy.
>>439448 Wow, that's one sexy lizard lady, cannot believe I never heard of this one, or seen art of her! Really cute designs!
>>439447 Here you go, it is in issue #5 https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/Worlds-Unknown/Issue-5?id=116687
>>439460 That's a new one on me. I'll have to bring this to the attention of the /hmofa/ threads. >Virgin Planet Oh, that's just too good.
>>439461 No, but I did. ;D And yes, I thought you'd get a kick out of that. I'm nor sure, but I think that's the same artist that did Flash Gordon for Gold Key/Whitman as well. Picrel is one of the illustrations for the original story"Not Only Dead Men." That's available online somewhere as well.
>>439464 Probably because no one else does either. That thread dates to not long after the site migration. Then you've got neither-fish-nor-fowl stuff like Chinese and Korean media.
Dogtanian movie came out. Milady's leather catwoman outfit is hot! https://kimcartoon.li/Cartoon/Dogtanian-and-the-Three-Muskehounds-2021
>>439464 I tried starting a topic there but it just never worked out, and so eventually we agreed it would be posted here. Has been done for years now, you are a tad late to complain. Besides, what goes for "anthro" in Japan is not really that for us westerners, since most often their nekomimis are just humans with cat ears and tails.
>>439465 What's hmofa? That's quite the mouthful of an abbreviation. I'd attach the translated doc but it says it's not supported.
Hmm, have not read much original Flash Gordon - there is so much of it. I wonder if the sexy lizard women of Mongo from the New Adventures of Flash Gordon were inspired by this 4-armed lady, or the artist worked on that, the heads are really similar.
Here is Aramis' poodle girlfriend, too! The movie btw follows the original animated show's first episodes quite closely, except there are more action scenes, especially on the boat where he faces Milady.
>>439468 As said, recently dropped a few shots from Beast Saga over there since it's more suited. >>439469 Human Male On Female Anthro. It's a popular thread topic over on /trash/. Once in a while relevant mainstream scifi comes up. I mentioned Gold Key's Flash Gordon in prior thread here. Their lizard people are canon androgynes. Just checked and artist on both was indeed Al Williamson. Just snagged this off /co/. Figured it might be of interest as well.
>>439460 Incidentally, I noticed the cover image you posted is cut down slightly. The original has her showing a little cleft. Have to try and hunt up a full-sized one now at decent rez.
>>439470 I would watch a low budget 3D CG movie just fine, but the fact Spain and other countries which really care about Dogtanian cannot gather the funds for a more visually impressive movie, just makes me sad.
>>439485 It feels like such a weird universe, where most other characters are humans except the main characters. Also, they say they "never had a chance to be anything else" -does that mean EVERY wolf, shark, snake is a criminal too? I mean Diane Foxington clearly has a reputable job and she is a fox, an animal that has a terrible track record of a bad reputation.
>>439523 Cool. There's a later sequel too, Det gyllene språnget, ("The Golden Leap"). Also found an uncropped cover image but it's pretty faded: https://bokborsenlive.objects.dc-sto1.glesys.net/product/365011/9859218/5f8f1755efd9e.jpg
Joshua and the Promised Land REANIMATED Joshua and the Promised Land is out, has some really great and really bizarre animation for sure. Quite the project Saberspark put together! I am curious if the creator of the original movie agreed to it.
>>439474 Huh! Thanks, here is the cover I have but I posted the other one as it is larger. Guess now I have to engage in a hunt for the actual book... guess you could say, a 'Weekend Pussy Hunt'! (YEEEEEEAHHHHH!!!!)
>>439522 No, I used an auto-translator to turn it into english. Here you go, can't attach it (only works for pictures) https://mega.nz/file/uQMCARyQ#fuiAsQJWQZ0dAux6DZ1qvoPfelaAOHLfARODZY130Ew It's a rough translation and all I did was to cut out the line breaks (the program I used was freeware and only let me translate 3 pages in one go...)
>>439529 I remember Fred Patten reviewed this book, answering to the low scored in other places with "no book with a naked catgirl on the cover can be that bad". To this day I think he was right, and maybe I should try reading it sometime.
>>439531 Yeah, you can see plot elements from up to the third book in the trailer, which suggests they might go up to 4 or 5. The first major arc does go on for 10 books, but the mid point is where things go off the rails, so it makes a good cut off point if you want your movie to have a much more serious tone than the silly random events book.
>>439527 Compare it with the big one Swift posted. I piddlled with a copy and got it a bit more vivid than that but I can't get the colors right. Apropos of the season, watched a 2d version of The Life And Adventures Of Santa Claus from 2000 last night. Sheigra the lioness has a much smaller role in this version but she talks. Only appears a few times though and things get kind of depressing. Just checked wiki and there's also an anime?
I suggest pausing after above a minute. The trailer keeps showing more and more of what will happen, and WHY is that done? Telling the story before you watched it will increase your enjoyment HOW exactly??
>>439540 The drive is more enjoyable when you know the roadmap ahead of time. Knowing where you’re going let’s you enjoy the actual trip more, and as we all know it’s all about the journey not the destination.
Been watching a bunch of obscure 90's Christmas specials I never heard of, mainly because they originally aired on cable. This one had a weird downer plot about one of the band and their estranged father.
Image:164068474940.png(41kB, 624x648)Genesis 32X SCD - High Seas Havoc - Havoc Lang.png
Talk about a ripoff... Not only did another japanese company tried to rip off Sonic the Hedgehog back in the day, they had the audacity to do it on the Sega Megadrive! Mega Drive Longplay [348] High Seas Havoc The little known game is called High Seas Havoc and this is our "totally original OC do not steal" Havoc Lang. He is supposed to be a seal, but yeah, that's just Sonic in pirate getup without spikes. The game even plays like Sonic, you have to run and platform fast as the ground crumbles.
>>439638 My reference folder on my drive? No idea why it got put there. I copied the text from an email and I had the image embedded so maybe that's what caused it.
Image:164068511297.png(43kB, 429x835)Genesis 32X SCD - High Seas Havoc - Boss 04 - Hawkman.png
>>439534 OH! ...oh! That was actually art from an OFFICIAL book you were posting from? I thought at first it was some fanfic stuff you found on deviantart. Whoa. Standards for published books really really went down it seems. The movie designs are a definite improvement over this.
Image:164068528523.jpg(109kB, 1920x1080)Secrets of Honey Valley (18).jpg
>>439535 Is that from that weird North Korean-animated series that mixes everything from Mowgli, Lion King, superheroes, Titanic with Fievel knockoff mice, etc?
>>439540 That thing is creepy. Btw it says "visionary directors" and... never heard of either of them. And yeah it is to me clear the two weirdly shaped mice are just the bugs in mouse skins. >>439543 That movie's trailer made me say "well, now I don't have to watch this movie at all!" :D And there are so many trailers like that these days. Then again, I take that over the trailers that LIE to you. The Hercules movie with the Rock, or 47 Ronin, both have extremely misleading trailers (and for the second one, posters). 47 Ronin makes minor villains from the movie seem like important ones, and pretends Keanu Reeves is the main character, when he isn't. The Hercules movie makes it seem like this is a fantasy action movie with real mythical monsters, when in reality, Hercules basically has an effects and PR team who create the hoaxes that end up his heroic deeds, and he has no demigod powers. I liked both movies, but did not enjoy being deceived by trailers.

>>439571 Thanks, gotta check this out, the art isn't bad and the ladies look cute. Are they all dogs, btw, or other species turn up too? (Will just be hard to get through all that rap).
>>439646 heh, yes, they even made side-by-side comparisons in 576kbyte back when the game came out.
To be fair, the game plays nothing like sonic, it's a generic platformer and the similarity is only in the art style, and that there are springs that can shoot you up. That's about it.
>>439647 yeah, Tikal. But high seas havoc predated her by half a decade. The girl looks more like Amy anyway, who first appeared in 1993. Oddly enough, Amy originally was basically a pink Sonic in a dress with bangs in the front of her hair and a headband. They later changed her to have hair on the side and no spikes like Sonic, which is actually more similar to what the character in HSH looks like.
>>439533 LOL the new cover of this looks ridiculous. Just a badly photoshopped puma head on a human body.
>>439653 LOL! Not surprised. They look often almost identical. Honestly Sonic could just absorb this game to be a part of their universe, nobody would know the difference. However I feel it plays similar too, as you do run fast and there is some sliding, and sections where the ground falls off if you linger (so y'know, "gotta go fast!") Amy is that old? I honestly only started seeing her in the modern CGI era, and was more familiar with Sally. Do wish Sega would finally acknowledge the Archie characters who, to me, are far better written anyway.
>>439654 >there is some sliding, and sections where the ground falls off if you linger Those have been in NES platform games since the 1980s. Mario 3 already had both, I don't remember if Mario 1 had "timed" platforms that fall if you stay on them too long, but something like Adventure Island had it in 1986.
Amy first appeared in 1993 in Sonic CD, after that she only appeared in Sonic R (not the most popular game) and Sonic Fighters (arcade only...). So she didn't appear in any of the popular titles until she got a redesign in Adventure. Sally also had an "early" design, you can still see it in Spinball.
Here is a better quality cover showing Heao (that's her name) from Godsfire. You can find the epub online as well. https://tiny-files.com/6071499ae7aa114c0e9fe030/335670/Godsfire%20by%20Cynthia%20Felice.epub/
>>439655 Huh she sure was spiky! Did not know that sliding was not exclusive to Sonic. Honestly I never liked or played much with Sonic games because they were simply too fast for me.
>>439656 Sliding was in Mario 3 where you could hold Down on slopes and Mario would sit on his ass and kick away any enemies. Sonic games didn't have "sliding". If you had momentum you could press down to curl into a ball at any point of the game and "burrow" into enemies to kill them, or even into walls to break them down. You only needed enough momentum for it. Sonic 2 and onwards added the spin dash where you could "charge" yourself up from a standstill and shoot out like a cannonball. Some argued that this casualized the speed factor, since in Sonic 1 it was much harder to get to maximum speed and to maintain it (and also most levels were centered around traditional platforming).
>Huh she sure was spiky! That one pic makes her look spikier because of the angle or momentum, and the spikes act as "hair" flowing with the direction. Her in-game sprite had her head basically a pink swap of Sonics, iirc.
>>439650 No, this was an American production. Pretty much follows the book as well with some changes of it's own. Don't know about the Anime.
>>439652 All dogs IIRC. There's actually only one rap song luckily. And yeah, the art is interesting. Very retro. The same outfit, Perennial Pictures, did a bunch of other specials that all look like they're 2 decades older than they are.
Cat girl who appears briefly in a commercial in another special, Hollywood Hounds Christmas, this one from DIC. A Hollywood Hounds Christmas (1994)

The project is 2/3 ways done. Would be nearly done, if 3 of their highest supporters didn't decide to "troll everyone", and pull out the funding. Thousands of dollars lost due to those assholes.
But yeah, alive and kicking. There are a couple of short videos and images I cannot post, so have this only.
Another slightly older chinese movie. All the character designs look like ass except the catgirl. Like the backgrounds and vehicles though. Reminds me of Robot and Monster. The plot is thin but a very unsubtle dig at The Mouse. Main villain is a big ugly rat movie exec buying out rival studios because "movies are for making money, not entertainment." His studio looks like a castle and his logo is an obvious variant on the Buena Vista company logo.
https://kimcartoon.li/Cartoon/Riverdance-The-Animated-Adventure So, yeah. Anthro Megaloceros-es riverdancing. And I didn't even do drugs today. Yes this is a movie about the magic of irish riverdancing and giant prehistoric stags. I dunno how and why those good together.
>>439799 Thanks for the info! Got this uploaded somewhere? The cat lady is... okay, but something about the face is just wrong. Like, the bridge of the nose is human-like but with a cat nose... somehow feels off.
>>439801 Megaloceros, popularly known as the Irish Elk.
I watched KFS on ROKU. That's the only pic I could find of her without a screencap and she's in costume but she is a little off-putting mostly because of the disproportionately huge head. Still not as big as the girls from Twisted Tails Of Felix The Cat. Like I said, she's the least bad looking char in it, by a wide margin. Still haven't figured out what the deal is with those things that look like anthro hotdogs with a speech synthesizer stuck on.
>>439802 Really? Never heard them being called that. Probably 'cause they were extinct long before Ireland existed. Also, they lived in many other places in Europe. There is a complete skeleton on display here in the Budapest Natural History museum. Anyhow, my point is, this is still a really weird idea.
So, again, can you point me to someplace you watched this movie? I mean you described the plot, so surely you have seen it subbed somewhere. Hmm, yeah I suppose they have big heads - it was the style at the time. Need to see more of her to judge.
House is out. Weird stories, not sure what to make of them, but some really good stop motion. The anthros are almost Fantastic Mr Fox level, love how the breeze moves the fur sometimes. https://kimcartoon.li/Cartoon/The-House-2022
>>439807 So named because that's where they were first found and apparently there's been a lot of them found in the bogs there. That's the common name M. Giganteus appears under in a lot of older English language popular paleontology books anyway, including my childhood copy of The Golden Guide To Fossils.
It was specifically on The Roku Channel. https://therokuchannel.roku.com/ Also on Tubi but again I know that seems to be region locked for you.
Thanks! Yeah, Tubi doesn't work for me. I tried looking for torrents but no luck. Anyone knows what's wrong with plus4chan? For some reason, it does not remember my nickname or the site skin settings. Seems like the certificate is not trusted by Firefox...
"We are thrilled to let you know that we have teamed up with Toonz Media Group, an amazing global media company, to bring Swat-Kats Revolution to life. This update is only a short announcement, as details of the rollout plan will be announced in the upcoming weeks, and we will keep you all informed. It has been a long difficult process, filled with endless road blocks, deceptions and hardships, but a Swat Kat never gives up....the engines have been ignited! Thank you all for the ongoing support."
>>439826 About fucking time. I hope they won't screw it up by making it unnecessary edgy. Swat Kats was in that sweet spot where the designs were functional AND cool at the same time. The designs I remember from their initial SWR plans all looked retarded, so here's hoping they'll get to tweak them.
Then again this is the team who also designed Loonatics, so there's a high chance they'll fuck it up.
>>439531 >>439532 As expected as something organised by Saber"look at the desperate crap I do for views"spark, it was the worst artist compilation I've ever seen. The reason is that they (he?) decided that filler, like characters walking from scene to scene, should be animated seperately too. Since the scenes, including those transitions, often simply do their own shit instead of translating the movie well, you are completely lost what the fuck is actually happening, and when, and where and with whom.
Proves it takes more efford then just saying "Go furries, animate that shit, it will be as great as those re-animated Mario Bros episodes amirite?! I'm of course getting all the spotlight for it, now leave."

>>439828 I think Swat Katz was the PINNACLE of EDGY, I mean, come on, these guys always exploded every enemy they saw and most of their villains die in every appearance (but somehow come back). I often wondered how the hell this show got through censors, when 1 year before it, Batman TAS couldn't do a vampire episode and censors were breathing down their necks. :D So I hope it remains as edgy, just does not go overboard now that they have no censoring... because we have seen where that leads (like Santa INC). >>439827 Well, good shows exist even today. Not all reboots are crap like Masters of the Universe: Revelation was - I mean last year we got another He-Man show that was actually good too. ;) I looked up this Toonz Media and they were responsible for some good animation and some... not so good ones. They worked on Ben 10 Omniverse, Wolverine and the X-Men, but also on the Dragonlance animated movie and... not kidding... on The Gummy Bear and Friends show.
https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/Moon-Knight-2016 Ammut, from the 2016 (volume 8) of Moon Knight. She takes the form of Dr Emmet, Mark's psychiatrist, but her true form is this sexy croc lady. And she has these two cute Anubis nurse helpers called Bobby and Billy.
I am surprised this comic - or any media -remembered Anput. Yes, Anubis is married and his wife is also sometimes depicted as a jackal, but she is a really obscure goddess.
>>439833 Batman was a far bigger property and it had DC and Warner calling the shots, so it had more censors breathing down their necks. It also had, you know, human characters with human weapons, which could be more problematic. After all, kids are less likely to emulate furries on a F-15 plane shooting buzzsaw rockets at giant-monster-of-the-week. Even the enforcers only used rayguns. And other than a lot of people being turned into mutilated monsters, the show only had a few confirmed fatalities (the only ones I remember are the 4-eyed monster who split up when hit, and it was implied that some workers got eaten by mutant scorpions in the underground episode).
And yes like I said, the show was edgy, but not unnecessarily so. All the outfits and such were functional and looked like actual swat gear. The designs they showed for Revolution looked more like gimp suits.
Found a model sheet of Choco (from Rolling Stars).
>>439840 Nah, tons of people die on this show. Remember that episode with the guy who gets turned into a crystal monster? We see him turn some hapless scientists into crystal too by touch, and it is horrifying. I do remember even as a kid I found the show to be really violent - doesn't mean I did not like it, it was badass, but often I felt sorry for these people. In the cicada-like alien invasion and the mummy attack by Pastmaster too, lots of civilians die. Not to mention Enforcers. The show did not often do the "Hey, I can see their parachutes, they are OK!" stuff. Btw, I never knew until a few years ago Dragonball Z was neutered so much in the USA! Here in Hungary and Germany it was aired unaltered. It got such a backlash by parents, the show was eventually banned to a midnight slot, but with a VHS recorder that stopped nobody from watching it. :D Anyhow, my point is, the show was the right kind of edgy. Not overdone 90ies comic edgy, like most of the Image/Wildstorm comics shows, no surprise none of those lasted more than a season. Or blood and guts/sex/swearing edgy, like early 2000s animated movies like Lady Death or Turok.
>>439857 OK, just finished it. A few plot elements in common but other wise completely different. All in all not too bad. >catering credits list all the chefs, sous chefs and the signature wines Yep, you can tell this is a Euro production.
>>439864 Actually, I dug slightly deeper. From what I can tell, there are around 3-4 different shows all in this style, although the episodes are usually only a minute or two long. Each of the shows follows different characters but they all look basically the same.
That time when the Thing from John Carpenter was in a cutesy anime about 6 aliens raising a human kid... as a cute anthro dog shopkeeper. Space Family Carlvinson part 3 Yes, I am not making this up. He is even called John Carpenter.
He sneezes and... this happens. He just pushes the spider legs and intestines back and goes about his day. Oh and sometimes his head comes off and walks on spider legs, like that famous scene in the Thing. And everyone knows this about him and they are OK. https://bogleech.com/halloween/hall19-john.html
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1820796125/swat-kats-revolution/posts/3417287?ref=ksr_email_backer_project_update_registered_users Press release coming about Swat Kats Revolution on 02 Feb!
>>439879 Oh yeah that made me laugh too. And this was uploaded 2 years ago so the youtuber knew what he was doing. :D I think the skeletal brain guy with the bat wings is meant to be a Mi-Go, from Lovecraft. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mi-Go If you think this anime is weird, there was a whole show where the Lovecraftian mythos Old Ones were sexy anime girls. I wish I was kidding. Haiyore Nyaruko-san W Opening
Sexy naked anthro dragon-lady painting was a kinda important plot point in episode 2 of the new D&D Critical Role cartoon, where the dumb barbarian is getting all horny about it and realizes it is an illusory portal when trying to grab the butt. :P I assume she is a Half-Dragon (Dragonborn have that tentacle hair thing, not real hair, and have no horns).
New original show just premiered for free on the roku channel, Doomlands. https://therokuchannel.roku.com/details/8a92f798dc1757069240a18dd1ed21f0/doomlands In a similar vein to Rick And Morty but set in a mobile bar in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Mostly humans and mutants but the cook is some kind of lizard person and there's a lot of furry side and background characters. This is said cook. Note upper left-hand corner.
Managed to open Hecate's model in a viewer. Man she is busty!
>>439846 LOL! Thanks! I think I have heard of that one, same company who keeps churning out these type of talking animal movies like Zambezi and... geez whatever the name of the one with the hawks and falcons against some monitor lizard was.
>>439862 小雨你听我解释啊(上) On more with cheetah lady. Also, this guy produces these videos at a breakneck speed. Might bear watching. Yeah it is barely animated, but the designs are nice.
>>439863 Here is the other channel with weird devil-cat lady. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCfSSt_IVejOc0JOr8Gg9Bw/videos Either his older channel or a separate animator, far less better drawn than the cat and wolf ones.
>>439865 https://www.ixigua.com/home/2458123101014908/?wid_try=1 Here is the other one. Looks the best so far, still rather choppy flash anim. Characters remind me of Gumball's family drawn in adult style.
>>439892 Thanks Sapro, will check this out. Hope it is better than the last post-apocalyptic toon with anthros I checked out, the Doomsday Brothers. At least that gave us a sexy mantis chick, too.
So went through Doomlands, it is as bad as I expected. Honestly I expected the Doomsday Brothers to show up, this could easily have been the same universe. At least the episodes are shorter, but the characters are just as horrible, evil selfish people whom I wanted so badly to die, instead of them causing the deaths of so many others... Anyway, cute mouse raider girl shows up in a beer advert in episode 9 too. No other anthros of note, sadly.
Unless you really like ugly frog ladies, in which case Miss Taste in episode 6, a food critic the main characters knock out and hold hostage so she will write a good review for them, appeals to you. She sure doesn't for me, and that's not mentioning her creepy second mouth.
https://kimcartoon.li/Cartoon/Seal-Team Okay I am loving this only a few minutes in. JK Simmons doing the grizzled war veteran seal, the dolphin is called Dolph and YES, voiced by Dolph Lundgren... :D
>>439902 Yeah jeez, do they have any European free streaming apps? I've seen some russian ones listed but I don't know if they're free or not. >>439907 yep, pretty much posted most of the interesting ones unless you're into mutants. Anyhoo here's one you should at least be able to watch on YT, Guardians of the Lost Code, unless it's region restricted too. Guardians of the Lost Code (Brijes 3D) | Family Action Adventure Animated Movie Basically magical Mexican Digimon, complete with digifusion. Could've been as popular with better handling. As it is the animation is so-so and it's dragged down further by the horrible crap-tier cgi backgrounds. Here we have a catgirl who appears briefly during the prolog.
>>439763 Dang sorry Sapro, I totally missed this post of yours. I am vaguely familiar with Kull, yes, he was sort of a precursor of Conan, a more thoughtful barbarian who actually could run a kingdom. Usually ended up botching it and bailing to another one, but hey, he tried. :D I saw the movie too. I checked on the Marvel obscure character database for snake people, and guess I missed this guy, but there is another one of note I posted here about, Jessala! Smexy smexy snake lady.
I kinda feel sorry for her, sure they were trying to undermine Kull and destroy his kingdom, but humans basically all but eradicated her people just because of the "reptiles are abhorrent" trope. I always wonder what snake men/women would have turned out like if they met a culture that actually did not consider snakes to be embodiments of evil and death like say, India.
Gotta love how Kull is all "The serpent that speaks! OMG!!!" I half expected her to say "Geez you have been fucking me for like half a year, how shallow can you be? Of course I can speak!" :P Also, man that outfit she has, leaves little to the imagination. Do wish she had a tail, though. She tries to kill Kull with an acid dart and he stabs her in the heart with a spear, then leaves her to die slowly and painfully. Harsh... And thanks, I knew about Teyanoga, just never looked up that issue.
>>439919 I never really checked, to be honest. We have Netflix, not sure if anything else works in Hungary. Disney+ sure doesn't. Since I have TV and torrents are free and not illegal here, I just never needed streaming.
Thanks for Guardians! I swear I heard of this somewhere before. Maybe I have seen the trailer. Gotta say this animation is really amateurish, something looks like the type of Flash people on Newsgrounds use... But thanks, that catgirl looks nice. So this is digimon KO but with various gods? Is Quetzalcouatl a lady in this too? Huh. Would not be the first time. :P
Image:164373916681.png(1.31MB, 1147x859)Screenshot 2022-02-01 at 18-36-10 SWAT-KATS get back in action with Toonz .png
So, Swat Kats... good news and bad news. Seems some news surfaced even before the press release: https://kidscreen.com/2022/02/01/swat-kats-get-back-in-action-with-toonz/ Good news? It does not look bad based on the promo pics, they kept the old style. Studio is ToonZ Media Group, in India, as we discussed. They mention old characters returning and a slew of new characters. Guess we will see.
Bad news? It is targeted at a 5 to 11 age group (WTF??? the old show was very much targeted at teenagers IE older than 10) and here comes the worst bit, this ToonZ studio just got into NTFs... "Recently teamed up with NFT platform Guardian Link to launch a new division that will turn its proprietary and third-party brands into collectible digital tokens." Yeeeeaash, does not sound at all a lot than what we were promised back then. Still, I'll wait until we see more.
Update on Kickstarter, they say the article focused on the NTF stuff and they say that is not the focus. Honestly, I am more worried about the 5 to 11 years margin. I don't want stuff like the terrible Ben 10 reboot for kiddies. "Hello Fans, I would like to bring a clarification on the advance press release on Kidscreen.com that came out this morning. The great majority of the press release that we internally approved were unfortunately left out on this morning's article. It should be corrected on the subsequent ones. We want to emphasize that the focus is creating the animated series. The NFT mentioned in the press release was taken out of context as part of what Toonz Group does as a media company. We are sorry for any misunderstandings."
>>439933 Do not fear the target age. The numbers are never precise, and the age range changes every decade. What it means is "the producers THINK children this age will like what they're making". If you remember, NIMH of the Secret was rated G when it came out.
>>439929 I would've thought you'd be more aware of Kull since he's the origin of the whole Atlantean serpent-people part of Set lore that leads into Marvel's serpent crown saga. >>439932 That's about the best description of it. People historically bonded with these spirit animal things called brijes and some of them became the gods of old. The movie name's about as generic as the animation so not surprising it sounds familiar. Yeah, she's a lady. (woah, woah, woah) Opting for the bird half of the equation instead of serpent.
>>439936 I noticed when I'm looking up stuff on various sites, most of action kids shows seem to be listed in the tweens age catagory. Assumption seems to be that older kids don't watch cartoons.
>>439938 Well, in the past most kids WOULD "get over" animation, and would switch to videogames, live action, or good old "partying" (sex and drugs and loud music).

Anyone heard of this show, Moosebox? From what I can tell, only has been released on Nickelodeon Spain/Portugal. Moosebox S1 Trailer #2 Here are all the episodes. Moosebox 1ªTE01 - Cabeça Espacial (1080p) I became aware of it after checking on the writer/creator of Seal Team, he made this too. The retro game references are strong with this one! Would be nice to have some subtitles for this.
>>439937 Ah he is? I thought that trope existed before Kull too, in mythology and such. Didn't Lovecraft have serpentfolk too in some of his books? >>439938 Ah OK, I dunno anything about US ratings like G and PG. In Hungary we have (6)-(12)-(16)-(18) categories which tell you what age can watch things, but most action cartoons are in the 16 category, so the whole 5-11 age category to me felt more like some Paw Patrol stuff. >>439939 I think what he meant is how sadly, today's kids (and I can sadly confirm based on what people my age tell me about kids) prefer to chat and watch videos on their phones and play Minecraft instead of watching toons, or even playing with physical toys. Never understood how one can prefer what is basically virtual Lego with terrible graphics to real life Lego you can touch with your hands...
Image:164381643953.jpg(50kB, 681x642)yuan-ti anathema and female yuan-ti.jpg
>>439937 Btw, when did Set turn from a vaguely-aardvark-like egyptian deity to a snake god? Was that Howard's work too? I mean later D&D also used him as a god of the yuan-ti.
>>439942 To advocate for The Devil a little bit, you cannot physically touch cartoons either. And unlike real Lego, Minecraft gives you infinite bricks you don't have to pay for.
>>439941 >>439942 Lovecraft had ghost lizards in The Nameless City but AFAIK the serpent people are all Howards. Scratch that. Lovecraft ghost-wrote and published The Curse Of Yig nine months before the first Kull story, which is the sole appearance of Howard's serpent men. Gotta remember he was a contemporary and penpal of Lovecraft's. (I've yet to read anything from The Horror In The Musuem collection of Lovecrafts collabs so that one was unknown to me, other than remembering Yig coming up elsewhere in conversation)
RE: viewing age, it's less rating than how they're grouped on kid-centric streaming sites. Beyond a certain age group, they do seem to switch over to mostly live action shows of the sort nick and disney push, along with gaming and vlogs.
Image:164383588860.jpg(378kB, 962x1168)Yig (CN male Great Old One).jpg
>>439943 Sure, but I mean, Lego at least helps kids develop physical dexterity. (and if it costs too much, buy Enlighten Bricks or the myriad of other chinese KOs, they are surprisingly good quality). >>439944 Ah you are right, those were lizards. Yig I only know from Pathfinder, where is a surprisingly nice Great Old One. He protects his own worshippers and does not really require human sacrifices (and is Chaotic Neutral), but woe to anyone who messes with his sacred snakes. I never read the story he was in, need to check on that.
So since we got on the "Doom-train" with Doomlands of late, I checked up on Doomsday Brothers and found an artist who worked on the show who uploaded tons of model sheets for his references, including Bugnut. http://www.aaronwilkin.com/production-portfolio
Do you guys remember a comicstrip about a girl dressing in a cat fursuit and going to a convention, then getting harassed for looking too lewd but then a guy helps her at the end?
>>439993 Huh, that I did not know about. Probably as I never watched this show. Is this the whole transvestite superhero show where the guy turns into a female hero?
