I've not enjoyed South Park in a long time.

The creators have really just become out of touch old men milking their life's work long after its gone sour, when the writing began to focus so much on individuals like Randy was the sign of things taking a downturn.

I'd argue it's more of a problem with the show refusing to have fun anymore and desperately wanting every episode to have an important moral as well as wanting every episode to be apart of some bigger arc.

The series-long arcs were the major cancer, certainly. Especially when it come to the political race between Hillary and Trump. Its like they were completely caught out by real life events and needed to hastily rewrite what they had planned out.

Even without what happened in Season 20, the season long arcs on their own are bad. They all lead to about 3 jokes repeated and same topic is milked to death.

South Park is still going on? I think the last time I watched it was Season 20 due to finding it so boring, but even then I only had a vague interest in it up to that point. I think the last I cared about it was during season 8 or something.
