Anyone else invested in how this is gonna turn out? Apparently, if it lasts long enough, everyone's gonna be in it, and there's a ton of potential HB interactions that haven't been done before, despite so many crossovers.

Since I am uploading The Adventures of T-rex remastered, thought I'd also share this! Managed to buy the syndication leaflets that were used to promote the show back in 1992. Will post scans when they arrive. And yeah, the original designs were made by a japanese artist, and the T-rex were more like gangsters with tommy guns not superheroes.

Wow, I’m pleasantly surprised they made Ninjin: Clash of Carrots into a series. I picked the game up on Switch when it was on sale for $.99, and it’s surprisingly good for whatever genre you’d call it a where you’re locked into running right and slashing enemies. I guess a beat’em up/bullet hell hybrid? Either way it works, and I typically hate mobile style games. I think it’s because they really worked on the character design, dialogue and humor and the game mechanics are beefed up from the typical half assed, dime a dozen endless slasher apps that pass themselves off as “games” these days.

I keep an eye on too many Chinese cartoons.

I think Jing-Ju Cats is probably the most successful furry cartoon in China at the moment but it's completely unknown in the rest of the world. Its English dub is like the worst anime dub from the 90s. It's complete ass.

The mouse girl is from Shuke & Beita, which is basically a remake of a much older animated series. All of the episodes are on YouTube, uploading by a seemingly official channel, but it's in Chinese with no subtitles. She's the third main character but she shows up several episodes in.

I'm waiting to see if there's any plot forthcoming. (it's pretty obvious from the opening that Ollie's absentee dad was the previous chosen one) So far it's your basic magical boy abuses powers regularly for his own benefit which always ends badly type show. I'm getting some Star Vs./Myth Adventures vibes in that the "monsters" are all essentially extradimensional aliens.

Did I mention the purple ones love stench and use it as a power source? Surprised the people into that haven't jumped all over it.

This movie was pretty bland but I still liked the character designs. The budget just wasn't there to do much with them.

The real issue with Spark is that, according to its director, it was meant to be a straight-to-video movie. The studio got greedy after The Nut Job and put it in theaters, but then they realized they made a mistake and pulled it from 95% of its showing. According to Box Office Mojo, it premiered in 365 theaters. The Nut Job 2 had 4,003 theaters. Guess which one was the better movie?

Anyway, I've been trying to find this Swedish movie. These sorts of animal musicals used to be so common back in the day but the genre has died out. It looks alright.

I think... I remember watching the Nut Job, but it's like a blur. I remember the weirdly piercing-ed snake hacker and some of the characters, and the expected 3rd act sudden betrayal, and generally thinking "this is just a weak Mission Impossible clone with animals". I skimmed through it but it was not even worth to mention it here, to me. The only design that was good was the old frilled lizard dude, who gets possessed at the end for some reason. I guess Australia has a lot of filmmakers who want to tell epic fantasy stories (see Kulipari) but some just don't have the talent for it, as this was pretty boring overall, not much really happens and there aren't many characters.

There was also... this thing. I don't remember the title, as it was the same as the main character's name. A really forced message about slavery and religion that just... doesn't work well. It felt off to me that humans would use this clearly sentient, sapient donkey-like race as beasts of burden without even talking to them... and especially how these animals would not even try and resist despite their great strenght. Then we have some mystical mumbo-jumbo at the end about why they lost their erect status and hands that makes also little sense... until that point magic wasn't much of a factor in the story. The hunter who - totally alone - attacks a whole city of these creatures was also so dumbly written.

This is still my white whale. I've been hunting it for years, but all that I can find are the dubs that aired in India and Pakistan. It was made by Bento Box, the same animation studio that created Bob's Burgers. It premiered on Cartoon Network's throughout Asia, including Australia, and had a pretty solid English version and may have even been recorded in English first.

Cartoon Network uploaded the animated shorts, many of them were non-dialogue, but the 45 minute special just wasn't uploaded anyway. A few trailers used to exist online showing off the English version but they're probably gone by now.

I posted about it on Saberspark's subreddit and he tweeted about it and said he'd look into it for a video. The tweet caught fire and that was the closest thing this got to getting out of obscurity, but of course he couldn't find the English version because NOBODY can find the English version.

No... not really. Werewolves ARE anthro in their hybrid form. Most franchises handle werewolves by D&D rules, so they have 3 forms - full wolf, hybrid (anthro) humanoid werewolf that can walk on 2 legs but use hands, and full human. So she is full human here.

A terribly animated aussie cartoon from 2000 (but the reused looped animations really reminded me of a cartoon from 22 years earlier, the Filmation Flash Gordon show) - The New Adventures of Ocean Girl. There are these bird people called innovatively "flyers". Those are not really boobs as the males have them too, so likely just chest muscles for flying, but you can pretend they are. ;) She is a recurring character I think her name is Shama or something. Mostly sits around talking for whole episodes, like all the characters in this show...

There is also this gal, a shaman who very easily gets impressed and proclaims people are gods if they manage to somehow knock her torch out of her hands (they reuse that animation a lot) when she tries to sacrifice them.
