In other news, apparently Oggy and the Cockroaches got a new season? Man, how long has this show has been going? Or it got rebooted? https://kimcartoon.to/Cartoon/Oggy-and-the-Cockroaches-Season-5
So God of War has some pretty nice looking spikey werewolves in the new game, called Wulvers. They come in a lot of colors! https://godofwar.fandom.com/wiki/Wulver Finally some nice male anthros I can pair up the gorgon cobras with. :)
>>420037 My bad. I thought you were posting here in the discussion topic when we discussed the last season.
OFF topic, anyone knows that the fuck this webp extension is? Lots of wikis now use it, and while I could get a codec to at least let windows image viewer open them, no image editor I know can edit them or convert them to jpg... and I cannot attach them here as images, either.
Guess people really like Brenda Springer... I was considering to bid on this CEL but it is already at 150$, sheesh! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Animalympics-original-production-cel-1980/254142719069?hash=item3b2c16245d:g:p-QAAOSwqZJcdsoF
>>420057 The fact people are upset over that makes me LOL (deep inside). Whoever is responsible objectively improved the original crap monoeye design, whether you think the final result is perfect or not.
Damn the epic foreshadowings on this show. S4 and they already hinted at the ending.
>420070 I don't mind the monoeye being gone as yeah, that was weird... but everything else about the design is terrible. Especially the weird tiny arms with such strong legs. They should be longer...
Finally a good looking anthro gal in Unnatural who actually has an anthro face, not the half human crap most of the main characters have. Sexy dominatrix kitty nurse... Of course the comic's ridiculously forced message is still hard to swallow, but eh, I read worst for anthros.
I got something neat for practically nothing ( 2.5 EUR) - the original movie display pictures for Animalympics from a german movie theater. I got around 5 of them, but I have to admit I mostly bid on it for this one... ;)
Totally forgot that Star Trek has sneapole too! They are the Selay, a species trying to get accepted into the federation, though they are engaged in hostilities with the weasel-like species of their home planet who also want to join. I like the cobra-like hoods! Sadly I don't think they ever show up after TNG season 1.
Well I literally cannot post any bigger screencaps showing more of her because both kitsunes are totally naked most of the time, but trust me, worth checking out. https://kimcartoon.to/Cartoon/Love-Death-Robots/Episode-8-Good-Hunting?id=89930
Shapeshifters has a very nicely animated werewolf fight with great CGI werewolves. Story is about american soldiers fighting taliban, but with both sides using "dog soldier" werewolves. Also, beware if limp dicks flapping about in this one... I wish I was kidding.
Image:155283974897.jpg(510kB, 797x1089)War Marshal Yahar - CE female vrock fighter 12.jpg
War Marshal Yahar - a vrock demoness from the latest Pathfinder adventure path, Return of the Runelords. Unlike most of her kinds, she prefers ranged combat with a musket.
>>420128 It's CGI, so is the whole anthology show. If it's good enough reason to be on Kimcartoon, also good enough to be here. But we did this dance before, you know that this topic also includes animated CGI moviie or video game characters.
These are old ones but recently found a better resolution rip of the show. Sexy anthro gargoyle chick at the beauty pageant. (S01E14 of Jake Long American Dragon)
>>420153 LOL Doug should just leave Carrot alone, she’s a precious jewel, unlike those other skanks he has her pictured with. To be fair, she gives Chopper a potential girlfriend since he's a deer turned humanoid and isn’t attracted to humans, thus maintaining Doug’s mental status quo of denying the validity of inter species relationships.
Yeah, it happened... stick around long enough - and Simpsons has been running for 30 seasons - and anything will. Krusty Rule 63ed Itchy and Scratchy to pander to "more diverse audiences" :D https://kimcartoon.to/Cartoon/The-Simpsons-Season-30/Episode-18?id=90013
>>420180 So does she appear later after the Mink arc is over? I have not yet screencapped those episodes. Btw I found out recently she and Wanda have Banpresto toys. Gotta get them! Doug is pretty aware about what furries are, check some of his reviews. But much like Saberspark, he doesn't want to either accept or condemn them, worrying that whatever he does he will anger viewers on one side or the other.
Yeah, several arcs later she’s still currently with the Straw Hats. The general consensus is she’ll join permanently, possibly after the rumored exit of Sanji from the crew. I hope so, she’s cute and adds a breath of fresh air (cute+sexy in one package). Pic related is her in her “Sulong “ transformation.
One Piece got pretty lame after the timeskip so whatever.
But dropping Sanji from the crew sounds like an improvement, his gimmick of being an anime pervert character but ALSO a total white knight who won't fight female killers even to save his crewmates is lame as hell. Was even lamer when Zoro copied it on that science island and refused to just cut down female opponents, where pre-timeskip he was more than willing to beat down female (or child) bounty hunters even when they were way inferior to him as combatants.
>>420202 Yeah season 3 is out. https://kimcartoon.to/Cartoon/Wabbit-A-Looney-Tunes-Production-Season-3 Gonna download them and go through it fast to see if there are any episodes with Claudette or Ms Cougar
>>420233 >>420234 Well, USians get most of the good stuff, as usual. It's nice to watch the show in.... 720p? I won't be able to tell, since I made the choice to view Netflix on my PS3 which I just so happen to connect through component, and it cannot do 1080p. Not that I care too much.
>>420272 Aliens I gather. It's an adjunct to a Half Life mod that was never finished and the comic seems to've been suspended along with it. Another toon Warriors parody? that makes...4? 5? I haven't even seen the original but I know the plot backwards and forwards.
>>420280 Ah, never knew Half Life had such a mod. Were these characters in it?
I have seen a few Warriors parodies but like you, never saw the original, never cared much for movies on the so-caleld ganag "culture".(Reading into the movie's history, seems there were violent vandalism and 3 people were killed when it was screened... yikes). I remember Simpsons parodying it, but then, they lasted long enough to have parodied pretty much every movie ever now. :P
At least nobody says "Bunnicula, come out and plaa-aaaay!" in this one! Also it turns out it was all just a big surprise party for his birthday.
Saberspark reviewed Roadside Romeo. I swear, this guy has to be the biggest closet furry on the internet. If he doesn't like anthro animals, why does he keep reviewing mostly such animated movies? What the HELL is Roadside Romeo? (FAILED Foreign Disney Movie) Oh Twister, you will likely get riled up by his next review - it'll be Sheep and Wolves 2. Btw that movie is out now I think, I have seen some posters in Hungary.
>>420284 They are the Skeleton Crew. And yes they are dressed a bit like the Clockwork Orange gang :D Did not last long against Harold, though.
>>420282 Oh yeah now that you mention I seen the Black Dynamite one too. That show just ended suddenly... guess it was cancelled? Never seen Recess though. Checking the wikis, Bob's Burgers and American Dad parodied it too, but I don't watch that show nor anything Seth MacFarlane related if I can help it.
>>420289 I disagreed with him on Spark. He claimed it was flawed and merely okay, while I consider it to be genuinely good, with occasional great scenes. Saberspark is a cool closet furry dude, but he is not my god.
I realized that I first heard of GeGeGe no Kitaro via Swift Nimblefoot's screenshot collection of Orochi-onna, a character exclusive to the 2008 film, Gekijōban GeGeGe no Kitarō: Nippon Bakuretsu!! I got into Gegege no Kitaro last year through its 6th anime adaptation which celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first adaptation.
This is Hakusanbo from the 33rd episode from the sixth anime adaptation.
>>420292 Neither is he mine - he is far better than Rebeltaxi and especially better than Mr Enter, I am mostly watching him because good cartoon reviewers are so few. But I mentioned him because I remember you liked the first Sheep and Wolves while he didn't - I assume he won't be saying good things about the second one either. Btw, you saw the second one already? It is already out here in my country and I assume the neighborhood too.
>>420294 Neat! Glad I got someone to check out that show. It isn't my cup of tea but I too checked out the latest anime adaptation - it has a werewolf guy in the army of the western monsters. Also there was a female tanuki too.
>>420298 Sorry, then it must have been someone else who argued with me here about it... I know somebody argued here about the lack of boobs on the wolf girls and that the movie was good. Hard to recall whom given how few people here use nicknames.
I am putting this in spoilers because I am kind... But the makers of Rise of the TMNT aren't. I wonder how many children were traumatized by seeing this fat ugly version of Splinter disrobing? Uggggh...
It's ridiculous how much money they want for Animalympics CELs on ebay. 1000$? Come on, nice but not that nice.
>>420334 You could say all birds are dinosaurs, they are indeed descended from them. But crocodiles were an ancient group that existed well before the dinosaurs, in the Triassic era already. They are not descended from dinosaurs.
Even the cheaper ones are 100$ which I find a tad high. I mean this is a rather obscure movie, not something immensely popular like Real Ghostbusters or Thundercats.
>>420341 I am not familiar with either one. Rich furries? Well I am not liking the whole "if something that is descended from something is still around that means they are not extinct!" theory. With that logic, mammalian reptiles are not extinct because ultimately mammals are descended from them... or trilobites are not extinct because horseshoe crabs are sort of their ancestors... and so on. As for the theories on dinosaur extinction, there are a TON of them these days. Gone are the days of "meteor strike" and nothing else. Of course, I dunno what they teach in schools about these theories. Possibly only that God smote them because they were sinful? ;) At least in creationist schools, that is. :P
>>420343 I'll just say sudden increase in Earth's gravity caused by A THING, and leave it there. Killed both large animals, and large plants in 1 swing.
Will this guy ever get a name? Maybe he is this universe's Kobra Khan? Anyway, new season is just as boring as the first one. But at least short.
>>420344 Earth's gravity increased? That's the first I hear of that theory. Then again I am not really looking into this stuff anymore nowadays. Also how would that explain the extinction of plenty of dinosaurs that were not large at all? Or how later mammals grew to also giant sizes?
>>420347 >>420348 Actual scientists. With PHDs. Plasma scientists, those who actually study electricity. And their explanation, though still theoretical, makes more sense than "matter bending space-time".
Also, space weasels with antennae. This was made decades ago. Creepy thing now, falling apart.
>>420350 Let me guess, Electric Universe? Figured it was either that or Expanding Earth. EE though at least has the benefit of some relevance to /co and a tenuous connection to this thread.
>>420351 Expanding Earth makes no sense since where would the extra matter come from, and how? Plus, some soft tissue found in dinosaur fossils dated to about 100,000 BC. But of course the dating method is to blame. EU is a movement, but the discoveries they use are not necessarily done by members. You can make electrical experiments in your own garage. A lot of their followers are fucking crazy and their Facebook page is ran by an idiot, I'll give it that. Plus, and feel free to fact check this, Einstein the ever flawless genius doubted his own theories, and ended up agreeing with Velikovski before his death. Both of Einstein's relativity theories were built on the assumption that electricity does not exist in space, only gravity. The discovery of X-ray emissions from Jupiter proved that to be wrong, and changed Einstein's mind. That is documented history, no one made that up. Yet people are still taught that Albert was the genius who unlocked the secrets of the universe, and that his theories are facts.
>>420353 Some of the astrophysics of EU manage to sound somewhat reasonable for whatever they're worth though the evidence seems to still back the Einsteinian view. It's the geophysical conclusions of EU that really make my eye twitch.
>>420348 I only saw 4 episodes on Kimcartoon, and nothing since. No torrents, not even Nandato has more. :( But yeah I already posted pics of those gals here I think. Let me know if you know where to find more episodes. (Though I do refuse to call it RBUK, Unikitty and her lawyers be damned) ;) >>420350 Scientists do a lot of crazy stuff when bored. Don't always take them seriously. What the heck is a skilltaire, though? Never heard of them, but I recognize that Sawyer from Cat's Don't Dance in the background. Some stop motion animation? >>420351 We are going quite off topic on cartoon animals there. :D But btw, that pic you linked reminds me of something that always bothers me in toons, the whole "guess robots have no right to live" trope. Even if seconds before that they were successfully pretending to be someone else and acting convincingly like they have emotions... nah you are ay-o-kay to brutally murder them, they are just machines! ... Never liked that. And yeah, picture related - Molly got murdered quite a lot and the Swat Kats never pulled their punches with them despite them being sentient beings who just had their minds downloaded to a robot body. (Then again, they also quite often killed off their organic enemies, so...)
>>420370 >(Then again, they also quite often killed off their organic enemies, so...)
Swat Kats did not pull any punches.
The first episode of it I saw had the martian zombie bugs who turned everyone over to their side with a single bite. The guy who first got bit slowly mutated into an actual giant locust. They kept building nests on top of a tower, with giant cocoons from where new bugs emerged. There was NO CURE implied or otherwise; one bite from the bugs and you were DEAD. I think that episode helped me develop my deep phobia of bugs.
The second one had Prof Viper mutate a guy on-screen into a giant grey four-eyed monster, that kept multiplying every time it got blown up. If that scene wasn't horrible enough, they then show him eating a homeless person.
And the last one featured a giant floating terminator hunter killer (Zed), who kept tearing down enemy hardware and built them into itself. The enforcers gave it so much chopper backup that it grew to Godzilla size, and then it interfaced with a low orbital Ion Cannon, tested it out by nuking a mountain, then turned the cannon on the city before they defeated it.
Even the Metallikats were shown to get shipwrecked, and the doc flat out told them that their bodies were completely destroyed, but he could save their brains.
>>420370 I think they've added a few. I saw a couple that looked like Yana's parents. The rich girl is definitely new.
For context on the comic, Expanding Earth's no.1 proponent and exponent is none other than Neal Adams. He's worked aspects of his ideas into Ms. Mystic and Urth4. Byrne took a swing at him in FF in the form of Alden Maas, (an anagram of Neal Adams) a Disneyesque kook media mogul. The plot is extremely similar to the later Batman:TAS episode involving Mr. Freeze and a Disney stand-in. It never occurred to me until now but the ending of the comic arc is also very similar to that of Blue Submarine No.6.
Per botism, the FF and Marvel in general have a long history of fighting non-sapient robot goons so the reaction isn't too surprising. They actually played on this in FF 252 though, a scant 10 issues prior. In practice it's like Samurai Jack. It's ok to show someone getting mangled and killed if they're only a machine.
Everyone, if you want Season 2 of Rimba Racer on Netflix, vote here! Also they are asking about whether we would want a direct to netflix Rimba Racer movie... The answer is HELL YEAH!!! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf_l3wNB7uOa-Q6oMTZVWar851pxjXY1DCx8C-uN54KhbhahA/viewform
>>420375 Now why would you want that? This thread should be on top. :) Interesting movie. Seeing the polar theme at first made me dread this was Norm of the North 3 or something... but this looks far better.
>>420375 Btw this is one of those trailers that basically spoils the whole movie. They should have cut it shorter and NOT reveal all of the plot 2 and a half minutes... Despite the fox having my name(sort of) I am not feeling this. It is not illumination bad (but the lundas are certainly trying to be minion-like) but the whole thing feels too energetic and forced, like it tries to be hip and cool. Guess Zootopia really started an anthro animal CGI movie renaissance, but none of them came close to being as good as that. Still, gotta watch this for John Cleese being a jolly Bond villain walrus with mechanical legs. :D
>>420373 Wait, this is a recent comic? The art style made me think this was from the eighties at best... :D Yeah I loved that Mr Freeze episode. Man Disney stand-in guy had the worst fate ever - immortal and trapped forever at the bottom of the sea. Yikes. That show was dark at times. Reminds me I need to continue watching the Blurays! I'd take screencaps to show the quality but stupid PowerDVD does not let me. And yeah, guessed the mouse was a Mickey parody. Still the best parody of him so far was in Drawn Together, when he destroys all the racially insensitive Disney cartoons to hide all the non-politically correct past of the company. Love when they show his ears being assembled on his head like Vader's helmet. :D
>>420372 Yes, the Zed episode was horrifying, I remember as a kid feeling the threat rising as that thing grew larger and larger! And man that was cold when they found that at the core of it, the bot was using Mac as a power source... The Swat Kats who up until then worked together with Molly, then simply turned on her when she wanted to save him, and took off her wristband that disguised her from the machine, so it assimilated her too... I think the first episode I saw that made me realize that show was not pulling any punches was the one with the prisoner who accidentally gets turned into a living crystal cat (kinda like Sandman's origin) and he starts turning innocent people into crystal and shattering them. Man that was harsh. Sadly nothing came of the planned revival of the show. Oh well I still got a t-shirt from the kickstarter.
>>420383 No it's an 80's comic alright. Issues 263 & 264 by the Old Marvelite calandar. Any new stuff I mentioned was from prismatic bug horse cat. As for mickey, I thought South Park nailed him pretty hard.
>>420359 I actually have a standee from these commercials I rescued from the trash. Unfortunately it's one of the guys so gotta see if I can sell it off.
>>420389 A good half of those characters have none, and the only way to change that is to go back in time, and convince the makers to re-animate half the scenes (by paying them several million dollars).
What a weird weird movie! I guess China this time ripped off something BEFORE it was made, namely Sonic. What the HELL is Hedgehogs? (A Sonic Ripoff) I mean even the love interest is called Rose... and is pink.
More importantly, what's the villainess supposed to be, an alien or some sort of anthro computer virus? Only other thing I could find on it was some much cuter kinder surprise toys, pic related.
>>420409 LOL! Germans would take offense at you calling their language that. Never heard of this show before. Odd that it's only up in 240p as the CGI does not look that old. I think mostly this seems like a ripoff of reboot. All I could get is that the villainess wants to take over the cyber-world. Her name is Kathy-Vira, or something like that, so I assume yeah she is a virus. Looks like the wicked witch of the west without a nose... weird. The mouse girl is much nicer.
Here is a longer episode (or maybe this whole thing was just 1 episode?) in 480p. Though this is in italian. CYBERTOP SERIE COMPLETA And man that joystick looks horrifying.
LOL so the villains are... Cattiviruses and the villainess is called Evilcathy? Seems to me this whole thing was made by Kinder Surprise, and was originally french. The villainess was originally called Cattivira. Here are the rest of the Kinder figures. https://colnect.com/hu/kids_meal_toys/list/group/34663-Toj%C3%A1s_meglepet%C3%A9s/series/253044-Kinder_-_Cybertop
>>420413 >>420415 Ah, thanks. Kinda got the names already but I couldn't figure out if it was a promotional tie-in, some obscure character franchise or what. Kattivira caught my eye in a Lord Dominator sort of way and I wanted to pin down what she was.
Well I'll be a monkey's uncle... out of nowhere, they released Animalympics on Bluray today in Germany. :) (best apologize to those godless foreign jibberjabber-speaking people, Saprophyte!) https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Animalympics-Blu-ray/234142/ Needless to say, insta-bought!
I bought it from here - cheapest price so far (15 EUR while it is 18-21 on ebay) and they ship worldwide cheap. Same shipping cost even if you buy multiple stuff, so I even got the Back to the Future trilogy 30th anniversary BR for 15 EUR! https://www.jpc.de/jpcng/movie/detail/-/art/dschungel-olympiade/hnum/8987330 One big problem though - they will only ship over-18 rated movies inside Germany. Ridiculous that they have an option to give your age, but only accept it for german shipping. Btw, will rip this and share the 1080p version on Nandato when I get it.
From Hot Streets https://kimcartoon.to/Cartoon/Hot-Streets-Season-2/Episode-3?id=89998 Guess I now finally have someone to pair up with the cat monster girl from season 1
LOL, I suppose Disney does own Rocket Racoon now... might as well turn them into classic Mickey. :D
>>420439 Is this an indian show? The animation looks surprisingly good... this isn't some kickstartered thing, right? But it looks way too adult for a regular kids cartoon. Where will this air?
Super nice, but at 300$, yeah, I won't be making the jump to CEL collector anytime soon. I do have some CEL sketches of the Flash Gordon lizard women and Bastet from Mummies Alive, though. >>420441 They can't be arsed to even release their OWN shows, like Aladdin or Hercules, even Gargoyles S3 was never released, fans had to basically go on strike to get the second half of S2 released. And I am pretty sure the Disney vault has all these shows in HD and they are just sitting on them... :(
Image:155786563943.jpg(160kB, 626x468)11. Ball and Chain - Labor Day.mkv_[2019.05.14_22.10.01].jpg
All this talk of My Life as a Teenage Robot made me check whether that show has anthros. The Space BIker chicks kinda qualify (are they alien frogs?) but especially this girl at Tammy"s wedding
So pretty disappointed in Batman vs TMNT. They kept the Gotham villains being turned to anthro mutants via Shredder's ooze bit, but... they made them look more cartoony and less anthro. Harley is still a hyena but more like a regular hyena on two legs, not as sexy as the comic design - no boobs even. And Ivy is a creepy plant thing instead of a mantis lady. Here are some screencaps: https://photos.app.goo.gl/EQzi7MyHddyFCy9P6
>>420451 LOL! Thanks, gonna check this out. Though I do love the french voices. Wait, the show was on youtube? How long did that last?
>>420447 Oh yeah, I know. Only the first 3 episodes are considered canon by Weisman, and the sadly short lived comic also continues from those. But even so, I would like to own them on DVD.
>>420460 To you maybe not, but being a furry, that's kinda what I looked forward in this adaptation. Especially considering she did look sexy in the comic this was based on.
These guys are supposed to be scary villains, but... look at them. They are sooo fluffy and cuddly. They are just cute. https://kimcartoon.to/Cartoon/Allahyar-and-the-Legend-of-Markhor/Movie?id=90545
>>420473 Not from what I see on /pco... ;) I merely meant that I don't see why they changed her design when they left most of the others the same. Joker looks exactly like in the comics as a cobra. Bane too, And they actually made Mr Freeze naked, LOL (he had his suit on in the comic).
>>420487 Those are females? I guess I am gonna take your word for it. Apart from having arms they are not really anthro enough for me - they are just eels with arms and "hair"-fin. What show are they from?
>>420491 Big Hero 6. Here they are before they fully transform. This season's big bad is a biotech company and a lot of their old villains are getting animalistic makeovers. (that was me BTW. site forgot me already)
Image:155856024787.jpg(646kB, 1920x1080)Nanowar of Steel - And Then I Noticed That She Was a Gargoyle.mp4_[2019.05.22_23.23.41].jpg
I really, really want to know who made this female gargoyle statue... Purely for scientific purposes, of course. ;) And great song again, too. Nanowar of Steel - And Then I Noticed That She Was a Gargoyle (And of course, I would soooo date her.)
>>420504 They might be broken, I haven't checked since there are so many things not working, that I'll be dumping all the old frontend code "soon".
One design error with the current thread hiding, that I know of, is that it uses cookies to store hidden threads. Cookies have a hard cap of around ~4000 bytes of total data (including their names). Things like usernames and board styles are stored there too, so if you hide many threads, you can hit the limit and then the cookies get broken completely.
But I doubt that that's the problem, unless you are hiding dozens of threads. It will be changed to use localstorage in the new code, but this is actually one part I haven't even began to do yet, so it might be missing on the first rollout.
Finally got my copy of the second Wakfu making of artbook. ;)
>>420504 Yeah it never works for long. I think it breaks once you change your IP address, which I do often with my router due to Mega download limits and such.
Animalympics BR arrived today. The video quality is not so great, still grainy a bit, but definitely better resolution than the DVDs. As extras there are all the songs on the BR, an interview with Lisberger (though the DVD had that too, I think or it was audio commentary) but best of all, a reel of TONs and I mean tons of sketches. Lot of existing characters, plus ones that never made it to the show. Plus funnily since this was made likely before the cancellation of the olympic that year, the original nationalities of the animals are all there instead of just being "Americas" and "Eurasia" like in the movie.
Well if you had told me the season would end with a giant talking rat and a cockroach falling in love in the middle of city destruction and giving each other the tongue, then... No, I can't even say I could have remotely predicted this. :D
Just learned of this comic - Conservation Corps. Started as a crossover with Archie's TMNT, died after 3 issues. But at least we got this sexy Sky Shark out of it.
>>420598 Huh, what happened, this topic can bump again? I thought it reached the limit. I already started a new one. At any rate, yeah it seemed more like several episodes cobbled together to a movie
