They are the Selay, a species trying to get accepted into the federation, though they are engaged in hostilities with the weasel-like species of their home planet who also want to join. I like the cobra-like hoods! Sadly I don't think they ever show up after TNG season 1.

Shapeshifters has a very nicely animated werewolf fight with great CGI werewolves. Story is about american soldiers fighting taliban, but with both sides using "dog soldier" werewolves.

Doug is pretty aware about what furries are, check some of his reviews. But much like Saberspark, he doesn't want to either accept or condemn them, worrying that whatever he does he will anger viewers on one side or the other.

I have seen a few Warriors parodies but like you, never saw the original, never cared much for movies on the so-caleld ganag "culture".(Reading into the movie's history, seems there were violent vandalism and 3 people were killed when it was screened... yikes). Even the cheaper ones are 100$ which I find a tad high. I mean this is a rather obscure movie, not something immensely popular like Real Ghostbusters or Thundercats.

Well I am not liking the whole "if something that is descended from something is still around that means they are not extinct!" theory. With that logic, mammalian reptiles are not extinct because ultimately mammals are descended from them... or trilobites are not extinct because horseshoe crabs are sort of their ancestors... and so on.
As for the theories on dinosaur extinction, there are a TON of them these days. Gone are the days of "meteor strike" and nothing else. Of course, I dunno what they teach in schools about these theories. Possibly only that God smote them because they were sinful? ;) At least in creationist schools, that is. :P

We are going quite off topic on cartoon animals there. :D But btw, that pic you linked reminds me of something that always bothers me in toons, the whole "guess robots have no right to live" trope. Even if seconds before that they were successfully pretending to be someone else and acting convincingly like they have emotions... nah you are ay-o-kay to brutally murder them, they are just machines! ... Never liked that. And yeah, picture related - Molly got murdered quite a lot and the Swat Kats never pulled their punches with them despite them being sentient beings who just had their minds downloaded to a robot body. (Then again, they also quite often killed off their organic enemies, so...)
