I know, but to be frank the method of producing them seemed ridiculously expensive and wasteful, not to mention inhumane and easily exposed. They made all these hyena soldiers on Mars, by kidnapping random women, impregnating them and getting them to deliver the babies (which is fatal to them) then raise them to adulthood? How many years did that take, and then the rhino guy kills all of them with a remote because they of course built a self destruct into their brains... UGH. I dunno why they don't just grow them in vats, or use say, cows or larger mammals to deliver the babies that could be re-used.
Or simplest, make them able to reproduce. Then again the guy who made them is a ridiculously badly written "evil for evil's sake" scientist.

That above link made me find out about the Autumlands comic, and I read the whole thing. And boy, was this a waste of my time. Seems to me the guy wanted to write a Kamandi comic, got laughed out by DC, and decided to make his own, just supremely ineptly. I mean, seriously, this guy cannot write. No basic structure to the story, everything is drawn out, the twists about [spoilers]"Oh my gosh, I was wrong, it was Earth all along!"[/spoiler] you see coming from a mile away... Top it off by a very ugly-drawn human main character who is the biggest non-entity ever, with absolutely no character traits. And worst of all, the characters being anthros adds nothing to the story - this is a generic cliche fantasy world, they could have been elves and dwarves and it would not have changed anything.
Anyway, rant over, I just really really hated this. I kept reading expecting more cat boobs like on the second page, but the only good-looking female character was Goodfoot, the double-dealing trader coyote gal, who sadly, like most of the main character, drops off the face of the planet after issue #6 because the writer never thought he can do cutaways to different locations...

Only other female anthro of note, and it is not even a real one. Yes, surprise twist is what you could have guessed from the second issue - humans are techno-magically advanced to be "gods" and built this place to, I dunno, harvest energy. It all goes off the rails 5-6 issues in, and never recovers, the ending is a great fizzle-out. No wonder this was cancelled.

I also never knew she was the main villain in Young Justice's videogame spinoff which covered what happened between seasons. She has 3 stages, though oddly she is smaller in the last stage, but at least she is an anthro dragoness there! Sadly, she never talks and is just a dumb beast unlike in the comics.

So, yeah, this is out, and man it is horrid. The ugly triangular faces, like everyone's snout tapers to a point... everyone has tiny yellow slit evil eyes. The story is grimdark nonsense as expected, with Rex ruling Reptilon and oddly Princess Deinonychus (guess they did not dare to use Lady Dei and get outrage from the few Lady Di fans who exist today?) works against him. Oh and she and Teryx are... sisters? While I love Dei's outfit, the heads are UGLY.

Not kidding the stupid "Dinopope" guy? That's Plesio. It's like these people never saw the cartoon... but they included a shot of the characters in the inside cover. Oh and the stupid kids from the show? They are programmer students who casually hack NASA because why not, and almost get a guy killed whom they used as an unwilling mole. Sadly the bigger part of the comic focuses on them.
And yeah, the stupid duckbill dino guy from the toon, he is now a "terrifying" jester whom Rex leaves behind to rule in his stead because... exposition.
The writing reminds me of that terrible fake-Kirby-like Transformers - GI Joe crossover, same grandstanding and the author thinking he is writing some great epic when it is just 60ies comics speech.

I never got why people are so enamored with that series, when frankly the graphics were bad even for that time, and the whole story is really childish and dumb... while the legends series was epic, had great gameplay and nice graphics, amazing voice cast (Elijah Wood and Gary Oldman!) plus not to mention it introduced Cynder and Malefor.

Russia was no different in the 90s, if not worse than Hungary. I could only get a PS2 in 2004. By the way, nothing is stopping you from checking the games out NOW, especially with PS1 emulation being super easy on modern PCs. It won't hurt to try playing a game for an hour. Might learn that Ember is not in the original games, and was only added as a pointless character with no personality (that you could play as) in the mediocre games that followed the original developers leaving to make Ratchet & Clank.

He meant the first three Spyro games developed by Insomniac. The other games before the first reboot not as good as the fifth generation entries. Legend of Spyro was the first reboot and the second was Skylanders.

Man, this has got to be the most violent, abhorrent furry cartoon I have seen since, well, I don't think I have anything to compare it with. Think language that puts Fritz the Cat to shame coupled with violent death scenes that makes Watership Down seem like a picnic. Okay I am exaggerating, sure, it's just when what goes for a normal scene in this movie includes the titular Bad Cat and his friend going to basically rape a female cat, then end up accidentally electrocuting her to death, Bad Cat thinks nothing of it but the cat's owner arriving home and being crushed by seeing his pet dead, kills Bad Cat's friend, so he just attacks the guy, makes him fall out a window and break his head on the pavement like an egg, then declare "I need a drink". I guess in Turkey, this passes as light entertainment?

I make screencaps of shows from Kimcartoon using windows screen capture feature (start+PrtScr), which saves files by this name. For shows I download I use Mediplayer Classic so those have the file names of the video. Sorry but given the hundreds of screencaps I make for reference I have absolutely no time to manually rename them - I used to do that waaaay back and it was super time consuming. "Képernyőfelvétel" just means Screen Capture in Hungarian. ;)
And Bad Cat, I will not even download for screencapping because the movie was such a miserable experience.
