>>246304 I'm not sure if further context would actually enhance the idea of a cavalier military officer proudly defending a warehouse I presume is full of fruit chews.
>>246321 Clever design, I'll have to see if I can watch this this later.
Huh, new anthros from a rather out of continuity TMNT cartoon (it also has anthro policemen, what's up with that?) https://kimcartoon.me/Cartoon/TMNT-Summer-Shorts-All-Summer-Long/Full?id=75328 Quite like the design of the hyena bandits.
The Mini Force Rangers - new toon about cutesy animals that become armored Power Rangers. Now that is an odd spinoff I did not see coming. https://kimcartoon.me/Cartoon/The-Mini-Force-Rangers/ >>246396 Probably they wouldn't be making kickstarter-funded toys of it if the majority thought that, so... that's your opinion. Me, I dunno. I have seen it a loooong time ago as a kid and don't much remember it. Wish I could find the comics scanned somewhere. I hear they were more serious.
Huh. So they actually made a TV series after that rather terrible CGI Blinky Bill movie (that had almost nothing to do with the old show) - called The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill. //youtube.com/watch?v=quf9wQvtfHg Website here: http://www.blinkybill.com.au/thewildadventuresofblinkybill/
Not sure where to post this - Belladonna, a comic series by Mike Costa about an immortal viking amazons, has some real nice Cynocephali - as in the mythical dog-headed people, both male and female. Thing is though, Belladonna is full of gore and nudity. Not sure if I could post a page here using spoiler tags or just post a link, as it is anthro related?
Empress She-Wolf, from Danny Phantom. Can't believe I have never seen her posted on boards before or seen art of her! I thought this show was popular, no? (mind you, I never much cared for it)
>>246509 If the Necromancer does well, I could see that happening. And of course, now that you can have male and female characters as well of the same class - that means SEXY werewolves and werebears. :P
Evil queen from Hello Kitty's version of the Swan Prince.
>>246515 I posted this in /CO because it is a place for cartoon/comic/game anthro references. NOT porn. The above guy's post will be deleted by mods soon.
>>246513 There is a thread on PCO for that. Stop posting porn and fan art here. This thread is for references from official sources. Furry fan art has its own thread, as does R34.
New (?) female anthro character from the upcoming Super Mario Odyssey. Looks like an anthro rabbit in a helmet attacking Mario with a giant spiked mace attached to her hair. I don't much know modern Mario games, so if she is an already existing character, let me know. //youtube.com/watch?v=wGQHQc_3ycE
Werewolf guy from Scary Larry, a french toon. from 2012 but I have never heard about it before. Basically a Monster High knockoff with more singing. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2404554/
>>246548 Looks nice, and they have actual animation experience and degrees. What is the story behind this? Did these two work on something else before?
So, no-one posted about this? Thought this game had more fans... http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/06/15/sly-cooper-animated-tv-series-in-the-works The movie is dead for sure, but it seems there will be an animated series.
Dammitall! I was hoping I'd get my herp list finished before somebody else remembered those. Between all the Dudley PSA's, there's about 20 girls. Can anyone make out the name of the school nurse? Sounds like...mavich?
>>246573 Nice, and it has some cute dino girls, but what is this? A cartoon uploaded by the dental health association? They do cartoons? Is that a thing in America?
>>246586 That's a nice idea! DS emulators already exist, I played the Chaotic game on one. Not sure if 3DS emulator already exists or not, though. Let me know what you find!
>>246579 Do they not do educational public service announcements in Europe? Ohhh Swift, we're going to have to broaden your cultural refs and introduce you to stuff liike Time For Timer and Watch Out For The Munchies. But yeah, The shorter Dudley ones were commercials that used to run on TV. Not sure about the longer ones. Never saw those until recently.
Surprised no-one posted yet about the anthros from Dragonball Super. Universe 9 players in the tournament of worlds, all animal-like and oddly all named after spices.
>>246619 That was a great episode. I hope they make more seasons. Or barring that, specials like this.
Never heard of this anime before, either... found it at random today. From 80, translated it is titled "Sue Cat" (スーキャット) - about a singer lady with a shady past trying to get a job. The desription mentions even stuff like the Jakuza, so this might not be a kiddie anime?
No, sorry... there was a DVD: https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%B9%E3%83%BC%E3%82%AD%E3%83%A3%E3%83%83%E3%83%88-DVD-BOX-1-%E9%B6%B4%E5%B2%A1%E5%BC%A5%E7%94%9F/dp/B000Z7XIFC
>>246608 Not many that I know of, no. In the Socialist era though, we had a cartoon here in Hungary called "Trombi és a Tűzmanó" (Trumpy and the Firebug, I guess? Trombi is a play on the word Trombita=Trumpet) that basically showcased to kids in how many ways you can cause fires by accident at home, ending with the firefighters arriving on the scene to help. But these days, they don't make many such toons, I have seen only one that was about taxation and where your tax goes.
Here is an episode. That opening music brings back memories... :D Not that it was a good toon, episodes were really short too, but it was more of a prelude to toons with longer episodes. :) //youtube.com/watch?v=Y0bXlk2FhGI
>>246638 Preventative or instructional? ;D That was well forth digging up. There's some potential there. ;) The heyday of ours was from the 70's and into the 80's and early 90's when they mandated a certain portion of programming to be educational. Truthfully though I can't think of of any at the moment with animals other than Dudley and Computer Critters. (and I forgot about Computer Critters til it came up here earlier) I think now the longer Dudley eps may have been intended for use in school health teaching.
Speaking of rare cartoons, I just found this today, by coincidence also involving an elephant (and also a few cuties besides):
Has anyone drawn Stacy and Percy yet, from Sonic Boom? Really like their designs. Wonder what animals they are actually, though. Hard to tell with Sonic style.
>>246643 LOL! Nah, instructional. I managed to find a torrent of both seasons. Gonna skim through them and post anything interesting I find. Like this rather skimpily dressed deer gal at the bar! Funnily, while everything was heavily censored back then, people could get away with a LOT in cartoons directed at kids -probably they were not monitored as closely. Oooh yeah, I remember Computer Critters. Has some nice ladies. Thanks for that link! The dinosaur skeleton looked interesting.
And here come the rich East German sheep tourists. :D Yeah, back in the day (since they could only travel within the Eastern Block countries) we had a lot of such tourism.
I for one, welcome our Venom-symbiote bonded reptilian overlords. :D That said, the 'movie' was pretty crappy story wise, just the usual "evil aliens are evil JUST BECAUSE" and these super advanced mind controlling aliens still fail against rebels armed with present day tech. //youtube.com/watch?v=VjQ2t_yNHQs That said, worth checking out because the effects are amazing, and I like the whole multi-eyed, 4-armed cobra look of these aliens - especially the mouth design with the "ridge" teeth.
>>246705 I practically grew up on that show. It is still big in Hungary - we have the DVD released too (sequel as well). Mind you I still prefer the book. Oddly, it's one of those shows that I enjoyed as a kid, but grown up... not so much.
>>246708 >not so much as adult Perhaps you lost your ability to enjoy sincere straightforward family friendly adventure things. Adults are usually like that. I am not, and fucking proud of it.
(note: I am not Swift) >>246711 >[spoiler] Lucky you, I got stuck in the "edgy teenager" phase instead.
>sincere straightforward family friendly adventure things I haven't seen much of that stuff in a while, but I guess it's hard to tell since the genre is oversaturated with low-quality stuff that gets dished as "for kids" because apparently (whether true or not) kids can't tell if something is good quality or not at that age. That said, I'm sure I would still enjoy some Roald Dahl or Dr. Seuss literature. That was quality childhood material, almost compensates for me not being allowed to watch cartoons as a kid.
>>246721 Oh, and do (re?)check out Willy Fog. The show does have flaws. Occasional (but not frequent) short musical numbers to fill time are there to fill time and aren't very interesting. And Tico's italian accent in the english dub comes off too much like an old stereotype sometimes.
However, the writing is solid, especially for a cartoon in 1980. The animation is impressive. And the english dub is stellar, with every voice fitting. It is a bit silly, but it was never meant to be super serious. Roll the dice, give the show a shot.
>>246730 >I thought "stage of an edgy teenager" was supposed to be an insult. I was referring to myself, not you. You are pretty much the exact opposite.
>>246711 Nah. I still can enjoy that. I just rewatched the Tick and am watching Real Ghostbusters again now. I live on old cartoons. But, certain cartoons simply did not age that well. For example, the old Thundercats. I sometimes want to strangle Snarf, I really do. :D Or Dinosaucers... anthros or not, I just cannot watch it for long. On the other hand, I own Watership Down (the series) on DVD and rewatch it often, and Skylanders Academy I rewatched 3 times since it has been out. With 80 days around the World, my other problem is that it is kinda like anime - even if it was just a coproduction - and there aren't many anime I can watch and enjoy. Call it being "allergic" to anime tropes.
>>246726 Well, it did some stuff that probably would not fly today with this super-PC world - like how Romy was about to be burned alive with her dead rajah husband before she was rescued. It is fairly accurate to the book in that regard, but it's where it shows that this is (partially) anime - japanese can get away with such stuff in kids cartoons, for some reason.
>>246749 True Tail, a project roughly 2 years in the making. Originally just a show for an uncertain platform, then an attempt at a TV cartoon, now a series of promo shorts to serve as pitches to make a TV cartoon.
I wish them the best of luck, the team will need all of it.
For those not in the know, she is Klarion the Witch Boy's familiar. Usually takes the form of a regular housecat (albeit with tiger stripes) but can turn into anthro form, since she is a demon most likely.
>>246776 Ah so that is why I did not see it on the wiki. It lists some episodes airing in July, but none of them seem to feature Claudette. Well, if she appears, someone let us know here!
So, (Space) Usagi almost got a cartoon series? odd that I never heard of this. That is, unless this is a fake... //youtube.com/watch?v=gWOvcIYd7IU
>>246839 Yeah, I hate that stupid hat with a passion. Probably why she never really appealed to me as an anthro female character, despite seeing the movie at a young age.
>>246843 Many people said to me "the hat is part of her identity". Well, a hat is part of Indiana Jones' identity also, but he occasionally, you know, takes it off.
I just think that if you never take off any piece of clothing it's super dumb.
Badly animated parrot boobs in Americano. https://kimcartoon.me/Cartoon/Americano/Movie?id=76430
>>246844 Agreed. Frankly, Applejack is also always wearing a hat but she often swaps it for some more practical headgear. Mostly, I am just against that hat because it looks stupid. This medieval style princess hat does not go well with canine ears - ends up looking lumpy.
>>246823 I practiced a lot when MLP FiM came out. :) Back then I used Avidemux I think, but now I found this site, works really well: https://ezgif.com/
Speaking of anime, Velma apparently became 'big in Japan' :D (From Be Cool Scooby Doo, S2)
>>246862 We discussed this before. I don't feel anyone every checked the /jam's "anthros in anime" thread and that we should post them here as well. In fact I have been doing that for years, odd you never noticed. And we have some date when Hello Unikitty will air?
Just discovered this show, Monster Force - basically totally 90ies Rob Liefeld-designed characters fighting against the classic Universal monsters. Have some neat werewolves.
>>246888 They made a sequel to that movie? Honestly I never saw it or the original. Is it any good?
Image:150291514500.png(50kB, 414x178)Rita isn't afraid of anything.png
>>246894 Both movies are harmless fun, as in there is real clear moral outside the occasional "don't be lazy or a jerk". The second one is (in)famous because it is way too sexy to be considered "for kids", and yet it technically is. But hey, this is Denmark at their peak of anti-censorship.
The 3rd one was animated in 3D, and loses A LOT of the charm. Plus, it was kind of a pointless sequel that did not really need to be made.
Image:150322085200.jpg(189kB, 1920x1080)Justice League Action Quality Time Episode 7 [Full HD,1920x1080].mp4_snapshot_00.38_[2017.08.20_11.05.57].jpg
We finally got Justice League Action Cheetah, albeit as a voiceless role in a 2 minute short. This version seems to have super speed too, finally... //youtube.com/watch?v=ge1mkjUwAYg
>>246914 Sexy? Now you got me interested. :) Will check them out someday.
This website allows you to check out different female animal lists: http://biglistof.info/
This image shows an example which is bunnies.
These lists need some additions such as Goldie Pheasant from Rock-a-Doodle for the Avians list and any female bovine in The Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa. For Aquatics, the list must have Sextina Aquafina.
As for video games, this needs to include characters from Undertale, and any female Zora and female Rito from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. As for Anime, Dragonball Super's Hop for the Cat list, Sorrel for the Bunny list, One Piece's Tristan for the Rodent list, and Milky for the Deer List.
>>246930 He's missing a lot of stuff and the Other category could still use sorting out. He lurks here and 4chan proper though so he may have a backlog. (I've started a couple more supplemental lists based on his too, one for bugs and one for primates)
In other news, all the CW affiliates have recently started airing a new daily block of morning cartoons called Kidsclick. (kidsclicktv.com) They're older stuff but mostly new to me. Of furry interest are Pink Panther And Pals and Scary Larry, the later title character being a teen werewolf. Here, larry's parents, larry in the foreground messing up the shot.
The Other category contains porcupines that needs to be in the Rodents list as well as beavers. Also Possums, Tasmanian Devils, and Bandicoots should be in the Marsupial List where it should be merged with Koalas and Kangaroos.
>>246932 Exactly what I suggested to him. He's (?) got enough random ungulates for a separate category too or at least an antelope list. Then you get into the finicky stuff. Moose are technically deer, donkeys are equines and he's got a sugar glider under Rodents. I wouldn't mind a single list for each main category with sub-categories by type beneath however. That strikes a middle ground between splitting and lumping.
Something I literally put together yesterday - thanks to my friend TMP999 I can now extract the sprites from Dusty Revenge (beat-em-up game with anthros), though the sprites only have body parts of the characters and you have to guess what goes where. I so far could assemble most of the poses for the sniper Panthresses. Will post more as I can, but if someone wants to help I can post the original sheets too for any character, just ask.
>>246931 Thanks - yeah, I plan to do such a list myself, with subcategories and an easy search system. 'course, I need a proper webhost and some understanding of HTML editing (haven't done that in ages) - and with Photobucket becoming useless, a good place to host and hotlink images in good resolution. I have tons of gigabytes of reference pics.
Many characters on the list he seems to have gathered from the various lists and even some of my posts, but he got some names wrong, like Female Fighters from Etherlords are posted as "Iron Maiden" (an early prototype name), and the Dominatrices from Brütal Legend are just listed as "Unknown"
>>246930 Sextina is there, but just listed as "Unknown", again. Also, like many such lists, this list also has tons of anime characters who are not even remotely anthro fishes but are just humans with fins on their heads... we could include half the Marvel and DC universes with that logic from Triton to Despero.
I did learn about this gal thanks to the list, though! https://comicvine.gamespot.com/andressa/4005-119156/ Maaaaan sge is right there with Offset amongst sexy mantis gals. :) I never much read Invincible apart from crossovers with the Astounding Wolf-Man.
How come no-one mentioned Andressa and the mantis-people race she belongs to since 2006 when she first appeared in Invincible? Maaan love the designs, and it is not every time we get a race of peaceful insect people. Especially not mantises
>>246957 Are you suggesting "save page as html, look through the files folder to find the MP4, and convert it to webm" is impossible to figure out by yourself, or are you having so little faith in Swift?
Interesting, never heard of her before. Hairless sphinx cat villainess Yan-Yan, nemesis of Fu in American Dragon. Not really an anthro mostly but she can walk on 2 legs and wear clothes in some episodes, same as Fu. http://adjl.wikia.com/wiki/Yan_Yan/Gallery
>>246968 He always has been a condescending asshole who has to insult even people he has known for years. He still believes this is 4chan and he is anonymous so he can act like this and people will not know it was him the next time he does it... And yeah, I would not have thought of saving the whole page. Firefox's "page Info/Media" usually works for that and lists all embedded objects, but I guess facebook blocks that somehow. >>246962 Thanks man. Now that is actually useful information instead of Twister's "I can figure out, so can you". :) And thanks for posting them.
Image:150357547500.jpg(40kB, 610x358)ancient egyptian cats found in Ecuador.jpg
That was too blunt perhaps. Just to set things straight, I never meant to insult you, Swift. I just thought it was better to figure out something on your own. Was I wrong? Perhaps, in this case, I was.
Stop seeing malice in everything. I do not hate you, never had.
Site was down, not sure how long, hence why only reply now. We got some pretty cool things in the meantime! -More Bucky O'Hare toys.
So, check this game - Biomutant. You control an anthro racoon/fox creature in a TPS style, and your body changes as you mutate it via DNA you get from enemies. Interesting! https://youtu.be/3oDgoL4eezE
>>246975 Neither do I want to insult you, but you come off as rather dismissive towards not just me but Stone and others too. I know this isn't a message board with nicknames, but that never stopped me from behaving normally here. The thing you told Stone that "no-one helped me, why should I?" was that made me respond, really. Just my personal experience, that should never stop you from being helpful to others. I never did stop, even if some people treated me like dirt in certain places - why should I hurt those people who appreciated my help for those few trolls? No harm done - I am not mad at you, but please just be more polite to people, if you can. ;) Also, use emoticons. They help to convey the mood.
Also, Revoltech Zootopia!!! Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Judy is already up for a December pre-order on Hobby Link Japan... naturally, instantly pre-ordered her. :)
Image:150389699500.jpg(30kB, 536x360)Rat Bastard Mini Pilot [Low, 480x360].mp4_snapshot_01.46_[2017.08.28_07.09.22].jpg
This failed pilots site is a literal goldmine for anthros. Just wish it had proper descriptions for these pilots. http://fyeahfailedcartoonpilots.tumblr.com Case in point: Rat Bastard - a futuristic megacity filled with mutants, a gritty detective story. https://youtu.be/QvEGhDb9k2E
>>246992 Umm, really don't understand you. This place is basically unmoderated. I have been here for years and have yet to ever encounter a mod... Why would emoticons get your a death sentence? From whom? I use them all the time... ;)
>>247008 That definitely, but it's also a bit of them seeming childish. They were really overused by "12 year olds on the internet" and people got sick of them (like emojis now), but another thing is that they were (and still are) a red flag on 4chan that signaled someone was an outsider and needed to lurk moar. (That kind of defensive, "anti-normie" attitude was (imo) described well in this essay: http://twentytwo.fibreculturejournal.org/fcj-158-tits-or-gtfo-the-logics-of-misogyny-on-4chans-random-b/ )
>>247013 ... no? If there will ever be a shortage of janitors, I might consider suggesting my help, but otherwise I have only been a mod of a FaceBook fan group.
>>247015 That's fair enough, but I can't say that I don't find them fascinating and educational. Anonymous communities and their cultures are interesting, 4chan's especially. If you feel like a nice light read, I would recommend Kazerad's "Faceless Together" post on tumblr.
I am only a janitor. My point was this: If you want to tell someone how they should act, either have the authority and power to back up your demands or do not make them. Whenever you want to tell someone “don’t use emoticons or emoji”, make sure you can make them stop before telling them to stop.
>>247023 This is a simple miscommunication. Twister was commenting that people on anonymous imageboards generally tend to look down on people how use emoticons. He didn't mean "don't use them", it's just that using emoticons is unusual behaviour in this kind of environment.
If I may throw in my two cents, I don't think being a staff member is an excuse to enforce one's will. I believe that us staff are here for the good of the site (well, technically the good of the admin but he's cool and also absent). If I tried to get people to stop liking what I don't like just because I can, this place would be horrible for everyone else. especially for people who post with names
What episode of Scooby Doo (and which series?) is this from? 'cause the guy is a REAL werewolf, not just a guy in a mask. http://video.genyoutube.net/58-ec126CwI
And there this other one where Daphne turns into a werewolf, too! Seems like an older art style, as Daphne looks rather... 70ies, and wears pants not a skirt. http://video.genyoutube.net/_BS9gYERTn8
I keep finding anthros in the most unexpected places. Case in point, IHE reviewed the Gummy Bear movie (or to say the full title, because I am eeeevil, the Gummy Bear - The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa) - it's a shock firstly that such a thing can exist at all, and made in 2012 by when everyone forgot about that stupid meme, AND by Lionsgate! But the movie even has a sexy anthro... rat? bat? something lady, who even IHE mentions looks like she was a scrapped Starfox character. //youtube.com/watch?v=pHQzmPZH2A8
>>247031 I realized the second one after I watched the full clip and saw the dreaded duo of Scrappy Doo AND Flim Flam. Who thought adding two annoying sidekicks to a movie was a good idea??? Oooh, thanks for the first. I actually saw that movie but did not remember the werewolf scene.
>>247035 That was from the Spyfox short, right? And is that hebrew text underneath? Did not know this was an Israeli animation. Does this mean they are making more?
The whole movie is up on the official Gummibär channel (yes that is a thing that still exists...) in 480p. //youtube.com/watch?v=8x2LS4Z_pSM Kitty's name is Cala as far as I can understand, and she is super cute.
Image:150434272000.jpg(99kB, 1280x720)Gummibär And Friends Spooktacular The Gummy Bear Show Episode 1.mp4_snapshot_00.26_[2017.09.02_10.48.28].jpg
Oh my.... there is more. They made a whole webseries!!! :o I am kind of terrified to check this. On one hand, Kala is really cute, on the other, every single thing the Gummy Bear does is revolting and annoying... Even intro of this like the most shallow, nonexistent thing ever. Just the three main characters jumping around in front of a white screen. Even Kala looks like she is bored out of her skull to be in this show, and she and Harry barely even try to act. :D //youtube.com/watch?v=8q5w7B03zns That is a face that says "what have I done with my life?" :D
>>247041 The Saturn Myth? What is that? I heard about the Cydonia thing with Mars, but mostly thanks to X-Com. :)
Image:150434278300.jpg(85kB, 1280x720)Gummibär And Friends Spooktacular The Gummy Bear Show Episode 1.mp4_snapshot_03.09_[2017.09.02_10.51.20].jpg
Also, you should check the comments on the youtube channel... half of them are unintelligible nonsense, as if the watchers passed out and facepalmed their keyboard.
And here is something else - found the model for the sexy Krait Witch from Guild Wars 2 on the designer's website. Man, you can even see the nipples under her top!
Image:150437492200.jpg(312kB, 1280x956)crappy but to the point.jpg
>>247044 It's basically a long project by a couple of plasma scientists (to make it simple, pioneers of the young field of electric studies) and mythologists. They looked at major myths from all around the globe, and came to the conclusion that long ago, though recent enough for humans to witness it, Saturn, Venus and Mars were aligned with the Earth, resulting in the following image (the strings from Venus are plasma streams, since every planet is electrically charged).
Eventually, the alignment grew unstable, and the planets moved to different orbits, nearly passing our planet, resulting in massive catastrophes, which were recorded as the "Doomsday" or "Ragnarok" in many mythologies.
That's the short version of it, I won't derail with more stuff. Look into it if curious.
>>247050 Sounds like the so-called electric universe theory. Good for a laugh if nothing else.
Here's something more topical for the historical minded. A drawing by artist Charles Altamont Doyle, father of of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle of Sherlock Holmes fame.
