Yeah, just saw the episode today. Claudette is the only reason to watch this show, she is sexy. :) Still not sure why they gave her a french accent when she is an obvious Black Widow parody.

Howdy Anonymous! Yeah, I saw the original what, 10 episodes or so, but sadly that only has a few of the Invizimals, Überjackal being the only interesting one, showing up. Some dude on Kametsu promised to get more episodes - I dunno if you live in the USA, can you maybe check whether they are airing the show there? Apparently more episodes are out in Spain or South America (based on the language).

Also, if you wanna see females - Zaphyra is in the cutscenes of the PS game, and you can play as her, too. She has a pretty sexy battle with the kid playing in the body of Chupacabra.

Btw, there are toys out there too - I lucked out and managed to get some from a french seller on ebay, but you need to try and get them now if you want any - already the first wave is almost impossible to find. I am regretting not buying Unicorn when I had the chance. Same deal as with Huntik - the toys just disappeared off the net, even italian sale sites don't have them.
There are larger, more articulated toys of Überjackal, Icelion and Tigershark too - I plan to get Überjackal, at least.

Having read the original book, there is something inherently WRONG in an episode title like "Thank You, Fagin". I mean... the guy is a real monster in the book. Basically a thief-king who forces homeless kids and orphans as his army of thieves. I remember Batman almost feeding a guy like that to the alligators.

Here is a kitty not many of you will recognize... From the rather terrible animated movie, D4 - The Trojan Dog. I think it's a greek movie - from around 1994. I have it on DVD in Hungarian and English too.
Don't think she has a name, but she is sexy. As for the movie, it's some of the worst animated movie I have ever seen. Most of the plot is spent by listening to the stupid mouse inventor explaining what already happens on screen.

I swear the DVD cover of this movie is almost erotic on purpose. Like, they found a screencap that they took out of context totally...

I see this is another "everyone runs around naked" cartoon? Always find that weird... same with this upcoming Kulipari movie. Sadly, the female mice are almost indistiguishable from the males.

So, turns out while this thing has no credits (the actors probably never wanted anyone to know they were in this) there are times when you can barely make out their names! The female kitty is called Simone, the red-furred boss is Clawless and the typical clutzy dumb cat is Drowsy.
The movie's Australian, btw.

And just like in that mouse anime, no-one in this thing ever heard about pants or underpants, apparently.

Quite love this "evil look" Simone gives in an early scene. Pity the animation is usually not this good, most often the frames are terribly distorted and ugly.

She's quite athletic, too.

Nah. I am not a fan of that sort of art (like Lordstevie's girls with their ginormous boobs). But they need to look feminine, and that includes boobs. They don't have to be huge - look at Claudette! She hasn't got huge breasts, but she is shapely there in just the right way, as opposed to being totally flat like a board - like those mice. Having a narrow waist also helps.

I hope they do the same with Kung Fu Panda - Legends of Awesomeness. It beats waiting 1.5 years for a season to finish. Seriously, what's happening? They did not cancel the show, it's just... on permanent hiatus?

I am liking this show much more than the Penguins of Madagaskar - frankly, I barely if ever watch that one. It has its points but frankly, even after seeing more episodes I keep confusing the main characters - visually, they are too much alike, the voices are what tells them apart.

Astro City#28 told of the origin of the aussie hero Wolf Spider. He used to watch a cartoon with a superteam called Queenslaw when he was a kid.

Also, Todd's Mom from episode 7 of S2 of All Hail King Julien. She's a big one! And yeah, King Julien absolutely doesn't know where babies come from, and he believes Mort is his son when he paints rings on his tail. :D

Triptank is often a quite disturbing show, but every now and then it makes some memorable sketches. Chimera who talks like a sassy black woman was one of them... :D And yeah, the joke is the one many furry artist already did before, the knight misunderstanding the "(S)lay the beast!" command.

The whole season was pretty awesome, lots of continuity too. Liked that Dr. S and Rob actually turned into good guys, and Crimson and Mary Ann returned as well for the finale.

Yes I can, because I freely admit that's what I do. While CR pretends in this series is supposed to be about forgotten cartoon gems and memorable characters, when all it is his "gallery of cartoon crushes". I mean, check the Familiar Faces and compare the ratio of male characters to females...
I only complain because this feels hypocritical. Instead of "coming out" and admitting why he likes them - which anyone who glimpsed at his Deviantart gallery already knows - he goes on to continue the charade. Heck, he did a Marge Simpson vs. Lois Griffin comparison... decorated with his own drawings of the two engaged in catfights and wrestling. Just go and make FA account, CR...

Speaking of which, remember these three? The movie was utter Bollywood trash but I loved their designs. (Charlie's Angels, from Roadside Romeo). Wish someone would draw them - only found very few pictures.

Thanks to a guy on FA I got the whole Squirrel and Hedgehog series. Interesting to see how much the animation varies even from one episode to another - though that is expected given how sometimes many years pass between two episodes.
Btw, always wondered whether the weasel aide is female or not. Certainly sounds like a girl, and it's hard to tell as they all are skinny and lean.

The problem is, they aren't, really. I gave up on him and most of Channel awesome a while ago - all the good reviewers left that place already, anyway, or have separate websites.

Funny how the series mirrors a lot of (hated by Nort Korea) Hollywood tropes, such as the hero never executing/murdering the enemies he captures, they always reach for a hidden gun or try to escape so he is "justified" to kill them.
And yeah, the big finale in episode 26 (end of a story arc, sort of) has Squirrel drive a friggin TANK into the meeting room, running over South Korean mice and Japanese weasels!!! This series is effin' brutal.

And all the violence is accompanied with Looney Tunes style facial expressions...
Though I must say, the animation starting from episode 27 got pretty good. Just don't try to imagine how many animators might got executed because they failed to keep the deadlines of Kim...

Cartoonish squabbling over catfish...

...are followed by a few second later by the squirrel going all Daniel Craig on a weasel officier, pummeling him in the face and threatening to drown him if he doesn't talk. Yeah, and he does all this while undercover. This series sure has weird ideas about undercover agents.

And yeah, the implications that this cartoon pretty much portrays them as basically a totally different species... Speaks volumes about how far the schism goes between the countries. odd btw, that "Flower Hill" (aka North Korea) is portrayed as a multi-racial country full of squirrels, voles, ducks, sparrows -while the enemy countries are one race only.

Save for the Americans, who have wolves, foxes, gators and I think racoons in their army.

Btw, you have to freeze-frame this show if you want to even see what the hell is happening. No wonder that it took them years to make each episode, given how ridiculously fast the frame rate is.

And yeah the names are often this banal and unoriginal - General Wolf, Aide Weasel, Captain Whiteweasel...

Of course, then the show just goes and turns them into so terribly stupid and cowardly a few seconds later, that they are intimidated by Mulchango, even.

Love the "Duuuuh, tell me about the rabbits, George!" look on the wolf.

Mulchango is easily the Joker of this show. That is, if the Joker was terribly stupid and failed at everything he ever tried. The few times this guy succeeds at things, it's usually out of dumb luck. The only reason he is still alive is because he often has to humiliate himself terribly and weasel his way out of situations by being a suck-up. Yet, he IS the recurring villain, despite being no threat at all.

She is sadly, more of a glorified secretary than an actual soldier/officier.

And of course, american soldiers fight with baseball bats. That's what the US army uses all the time, right? ;)

One typical example of un-militaristic idiocy on this show... When Captain Wolf suspects both Mulchango and Squirrell Liaison whatshisface of being spies, how does he make sure? Well, by locking both of them in cells with baseball-bat-wielding wolves who are told to beat them up until they talk. Standard military procedure of interrogation, yessirree.
And of course, Squirrell fights them, while Mulchango whines and begs his way out of it.

I think this guy is actually one of the Dreadnoks from GI Joe, who got bitten by a werewolf. :D

She does have some nice scenes, though.

She is basically... a fierce bloodthirsty Klingon girl. Think Bellana Torres, just far more badass. Her race, the Salamandrians, take honor above all things, and while her commander is actually more restrained, Mona Lisa is a hothead who wants to fight everything at the drop of a hat. :D
And yeah, Raph falls for her when... she almost kills him in battle. Love at first blood, apparently. ;)

And yeah, she is downright evil at times - leaving the turtles to die under the ice even when her commander says that's a dishonorable death. But, when Raph actually tries diplomacy to make her understand they need to work together (yeah, Raph... AND diplomacy! he loves her that much!)

Btw, her real name is Lieutenant Y'Gythygba - but Raph asks her if he can call her Mona Lisa instead (as he cannot pronounce it)

Yep, the Triceratons are back on prehistoric Earth, mining for rare crystals and enslaving dinosaurs, Dino Riders Rulon-style. It's like two of my favourite franchise had married and had a baby! :D

They even have robo-raptors!

And yeah, she is BIG. I mean... Rocksteady is quite huge and she towers over him too.

Her name is general Zera, btw.

Her grand master plan is to use the time crystals to restore their great empire (as it was before the Kraang destroyed their homeworld).

When Tut wants to stay up all night watching horror movies, he uses his wand to stop the sun from rising, basically empowering Apep to defeat Ra in the process - which sadly, stops time, too... :D

Of course, Set shows up to meddle, as usual...

I like how the kid even points out that Set was supposed to protect Ra from Apep, not imprison him, and he simply says he did that for ages and he wants to rule and have others serve him, now.
