>>239299 Better that what I'd expect if this had been hooked to Nick or Cartoon Network. Makes me wish Dan vs could get another shot on Netflix since I think the humor could carry there. I really miss that show.
>>239300 Me too, Dan vs was one of the best animation sitcom on the Hub, if it weren't for the channel getting bankrupt we would still have it, to me the Hub will always be better than Discovery Family, it would be perfect to have it on Netflix it would do this series much better justice than Discovery communications could ever done.
Not so much Bankrupt as Discovery being rude since the beginning of the Channel complaining to the FCC that they had gotten a bad deal. That and many of the VPs and the President leaving towards the end removing much of the Hub animated programming. We got that early stuff because the Margaret Loesch went to bat for those programs.
Creator still posts on the Dav vs Facebook, dropped some interesting info on Hortense a while back which really put Dans plan in perspective.
>>239500 Clover's sister Crimson might been the best thing in Julien's party crazed life, and wouldn't you know he gone cold feet and blew it in the end and made an enemy out of her, I mean dang it, I've seen him done alot of dumb moves for some time but this is by far, if not the most retarded crap he ever done and this one I cannot ever let this go.
>>239507 Oh don't worry, unless you really wanted to hear Andy Richter singing in-character as Mort, those are the only highlights for now. I've just got a soft spot for musical numbers, particularly as it applies to the question of if the voice actor can even sing, let alone in-character. If they can't, that's funny. If they can, then that's cool, too. For what it's worth, I think Danny could probably do it if they didn't keep giving Julien rappy songs. If Congaga is any indication.
>>239542 I watched all the episodes on the Powerpuff Girls dvd box set a few years back, but I do not remember that happening at all. What episode was that?
Besides the Black Hole song which ties into the plot of an episode, all of the songs they just told the musicians they could do songs based on whatever their favorite historical thing was.
>>239570 Little bit of both. On the sequel side, after the events of the movie and everyone knows Peabody has a time machine, he and Sherman decide to host a variety show live from their apartment, using the WABAC to bring in all kinds of historical guests and such.
>>240019 I had no idea she was still taler than Hater with her huge armor deactivated until they were right next to each other, when I suddenly realised that Dominator wasn't a scrawny little teen.
Whenever things get so absurd, I can't help but wonder if everyone was originally on board for making Penguins before someone pointed out Nick still held the rights.
>>240742 As a kid I couldn't get over how cool this scene was. Watching it as an adult though, all I can think of is how much that oil must burn like hell on his cuts.
Netflix cartoons put out a handful of new years countdowns so parents can have a pretend countdown with their kids and send them to bed early. But where's the fun in that? Countdown finishes at 1:07 so start watching at 11:58:53
>>241599 Heh riffing on Toothless. Indeed the show hits lots of buttons. Hope Titmouse gets a chance to do a big budget projects along with the Japan studios Netflix wants to expand into. Also give Mir a chance since they've already brought them on.
>>241679 I can't help but think having your throat slit by a lightsaber would be the most agonizing way to die, since the purpose of sliting throats is for an immediate bleed out and be unable to breath via drowning in blood and the wound of a lightsaber is cauterized so the person wouldn't bleed out or choke.
>>241790 That is the point of droids, they're terrible but they are dirt cheap to make so you can make lots and hope things work out if you throw enough of them. Zapp Brannigan tactics!
A new season of P&S means a new set of music videos. I assume it's still true that the artists are free to sing about whatever historical thing interests them the most.
It's been pointed out that Turbo has its 52 episodes and is likely over, which makes the fact that the last scene is Turbo actually getting laughs from one of his lame quips and deciding to bow out there extremely symbolic.
>>242831 Which so far has been the major advantage of the deal. Dreamworks don't care. Maybe Illumination will care even less and then the real fun can begin.
>>243223 Wrinkles in the fabric, seam details. Damn that is detail they didn't need to but appreciate they did. Like Voltron and how the paint is all weathered and chipped to show just how old the lions are.
>>243236 Oh, don't worry about that. Especially since the obligatory Dreamworks season ending cliffhanger is Hiccup being thoroughly defeated by a chessmaster archetype.
>>243238 Good him and is pirouetting sister get on my nerves. Heel/Face, Heel/Face. There is a reason they don't switch that up constantly in Wrestling. Makes characterization garbage.
Unless its an Anti-Face Stone Cold type who is just out to wreck someones shit in particular by any means.

I can imagine the people involved in creating a Dreamworks Animation TV logo to add to the opening being super excited when they realized the opening already starts on a shot of the moon that can be matched up to the moon logo.
I wonder if there's a fun story to Jon Benjamin getting bit parts in two different Dreamworks shows at around the same time. Maybe someone in casting is a fan of Bob's Burgers.
