>>230432 Eagerly waiting for the day when I could just buy complete seasons on Blu-Ray, with all the glorious detail and none of the interlacing bullshit.
Ah yes, good to see there's plenty of shows already influencing the current generation towards furr-- ...err, becoming fans of anthropomorphic animals as we speak.
I just know that years from now someone will cite that scene as giving them funny feeling a when they watched itas a kid, or that she was someone's first cartoon crush. Well, her or the boy, it could really go either way...
I think maybe he was referring to the poor quality of the drawing; the lines of the wall intersecting with the wrists and ankles make it look like wire or something tying her up, and the artist seems to be confused as to whether she's standing and leaning against a wall, or the image is supposed to be sideways and she's actually lying on a floor resting on her arm. Even worse, the feet don't seem to be touching the ground thus giving the impression of her being suspended by restraints.
I don't know, either that or it's some unfunny in-joke between them that we won't get because they normally share such teasing between the sheets and HOW COULD WE TRULY UNDERSTAND THE LOVE THEY SHARE ANYWAY
>>231039 The Japanese love the classic works of Maurice Maeterlinck, and L'oiseau bleu has been done twice in anime that I know of, but there are references to him and his works in several anime like Eureka 7 and such.
>>231227 I remember the days when I shared art with artists on an Oekaki board, before they all ended up becoming money hungry annoyances. Their art got terrible due to bad commissions, and what I thought would be some kind of community ended abruptly with the money.

>>231529 Does the list have Oblivia, the cat on acid from the Bubsy pilot?
For those who haven't seen this train-wreck, here. It's the Foodfight! of caturday. //youtube.com/watch?v=w3nNAYxn0n4 (annotated version because why not?)
>>231733 Better movie no but at least it would look good as something to discuss why its shit and enjoy the nice animation in webm form. And the fanart of course to join the Cuban poultry.

>>231804 I don't really know how else to describe it. In your face? Overdone? It feels like it's drawing attention to its overstylistic...style, instead of just happening to have a stylistic quality. Does that make any sense?
>>231808 Yeah, I get what you are trying to say, the word I think you are looking for is bombastic, which now that I look at the synonyms for pretentious did indeed work for what you are describing so I apologize.
That said I dig the style, but I'm one of those people who loves it when people try to excite, so I love big and popping things.
it's overloaded in bright and garish colors all over, many of which do not compliment eachother, there's highlights in odd, disconcerting places, the linework is thinner than the details, which there are way too many of for a cartoony design, which makes it every hard to immediately recognize them and overworks the eyes, the lolsowacky poses do not convey movement nor any sense of weight and look like they're spazzing out continuously, and they're exaggerated in ways that do not flatter the design.
it could be good if it took some modesty and balanced the attractive aspects with some less intense spaces and more solid, relaxed shapes. It's stressing to even look at, i can barely stomach analyzing those pics for a few minutes, nevermind that goddamn video. It's just complete eye rape, like a Michael Bay fight scene.

>>231823 Being overly bright and colourful is her style, and has been for about 5 years (she does use calmer and more earthly palette from time to time though). You don't like it, so why did you watch it?
There comes a time when the only response is "...we get it."
I haven't even watched any of the videos by this group/person, I don't care about it enough to do so on my own...but god damn dude, you're being tiresome.
>>232777 People have been doing that "lol halfchan sucks, go to the better chan" all over 4chan and other sites. Plus4 can't reall compete with that level of shilling.
>>232778 Ah so that's the deal. To be fair moot brought that one on himself and now that he's no longer the administrator and leaving the politically correct staff in charge the advertising for 8chan will likely increase.
>>232786 Before people whine that SJW was always a bad term I would have to point them to the old /a/, where it managed to be used frequently yet judiciously at the same time. It was actually saved for people like Riley, Yamino, and all the other oversensitive people who would spam Mako's VA with hatemail claiming he was supporting domestic violence, or at Bryke for being racist misogynists because they dared give Korra character flaws, or who doxxed people like Grey Deslisle and Laci Green out of spite. Back then it wasn't a term casually applied to anyone with left-of-Tea Party politics like >>232783 and all the other retards who use it today.
I couldn't even give a shit about 8chan's political leanings, they can do whatever they want since it's all create-your-own-board anyway and if you crossboard on your own time then fine, you're entitled to your own opinion, but leave that shit on there. The site is already tainted in my eyes when all their gorillaz advertising on here and vanilla 4Chan does is remind me of the years-old Anon Talk spam I used to deal with all the time.
Fuck all this talk about other boards, this is supposed to be a thread about cartoon animals. Posting Lackadaisy because nobody in their right mind can say no to that can they?
>>232787 But those first few just ended up just being heresay and petty rumours. No, I don't think people who doxx or harass anyone deserve any sympathy, but to be honest, this whole "insultworddoubleyou" thing that's spread around chan and subreds just seems like some freaking big team effort to shit on people for not being anonymous.
Its TMZ-tier fuckery on people with a profile that's lead to way too much shit.
>>232793 Pretty sure it was definitely Yamino herself who was spouting bullshit about how Bryke "stole" Avatar from the WOCs, because diversity in the media is so obviously a zero sum game /sarcasm. I don't care about whatever other stuff people say about her but there was a link to her Tumblr and even the mods were facepalming, it was almost certainly her spewing those ass-backwards views.
>>232794 Its one thing to say stupid shit online - there's no filter for that stuff. Everyone has a stupid opinion on something and if they have internet access they're going to say it. But that's a far cry from people saying she's responsible for people's harrassment. Its that making up stuff that's really shitty and it happens WAY too often.
I'd post furry shit but the only stuff I have is porn.
I only see this thread in passing, but it seems like you're stuck on complaining about one particular artists style. Just move on. There's far more interesting things to do.

Geez, it's not like we BUY any of this. Ever heard of the internet? Also, most american toons and anime could learn from Wakfu. When it comes to males and females, they use a LOT of different bodytypes. Check the Pandawa queen here, who is quite big but still sexy.
>>233061 >>233062 >>233063 Fun fact: IRL fockses are picky about "life partners", and spend some time choosing. Another case of a cartoon fox being more slutty than a real one. Find it hard to really like the movie for that reason and a couple more.
>>233106>>233108 Oh and also I thought you both meant costumes. You know that a drawn character isn't real? However I draw myself doesn't matter, because it's only a representation. I could draw myself as a friggin walking talking couch. Would you draw yourself as a couch for yiffing?
Why should I draw myself as shitty ass me how I really look? Also it's less of a fursona but just myself drawn with fox ears and tail, to try to get some fags and girls as fans because I'm desperate for attention since I'm REALLY fucking bored. And I mean REALLY.
>>233112 Anyone can say anything on 4chan. The moment you stop treating posts as declaration of actual facts, but as 99% opinions and bait, will be the moment your imageboard browsing experience will become much more pleasant.
