I'm happy with the new season so far, and Breezy is no exception. I personally loved all the fucked up moments/episodes like PUHOY or No One Can Hear You. And Finn's adolescent dunckass-ness this episode wasn't as blown out of proportion to the point of Finn holding a massive Idiot Ball like in Too Old or The Red Throne.
>>228140 Found the tunnel bit to be a great piece of animation. Does the dude that directed the episode have a twitter. He really deserves major kudos.
>>228175 Slime Princess, actually. I guess slime people can save all their calcium for eggshells, since they don't need it for bones? It set up the joke nicely anyway. Also, yeah, egg-laying slime girls who sell eggs.
Been re-watching the first season on Netflix. Besides the obvious difference in Finn's voice, Ice King and Bubblegum sound real different too (of course that's changing their performances rather than their actual speaking voices). The color palette also looks more wash-out; like if it was paint, someone added an extra part of white.
I also definitely didn't remember Finn punching a heart monster to cause an explosion of blood, Jesus Christ.
I found it to be okay. Some are getting annoyed about the lack of adventure, but I found it interesting to see how the puppies are turning out and Jake's relation with them.
Thought that it was okay. Jake's monologue on the Origin of Law had a grain of truth to it, though considering he used to be a professional thief at some point I'm not sure how seriously we're meant to be taking it...
Speaking of, at the end of the episode, did anyone else notice the pihoto besides Kim?
>>228689 Yeah, I guess Jake's a great grandparent now, unless Jermaine coincidentally also married a rainicorn and that's a picture of Kim's cousin or something.
Liked the latest two episodes, Ice King and Marceline both got a much needed break from backstory for some funny antics, coincidentally also both going on road trips. Marceline's questionable speech on morality wasn't as great as Jake's, but hey. Looking forward to the next one since I expect a bit of sweet action to go down.
>>229196 Peace Master looks kinda like that potion shop dealer, I'm kinda hoping they're related and Peace Master gets a nice deal on looking for a way to get his children turned back.
>>229382 I figured about halfway through that said question would be answered, but definitely not in the way it happened. This basically makes Jake the setting's equivalent to the Innsmouth fish people.
between The Dentist and Jack The Brick it almost seems like the show knows what the fuck it's doing again.
>>231736 Or from Princess Bubblegum given her history with his father, Finn has always seemed fascinated with names and variations there upon so it makes sense to me that if he found out his last name he'd use it to refer to himself.
>>231741 Yeah. I'm pretty impressed with this season. Finn and Jake are back to being the main focus and their characters seem to be more...stable for lack of a better word.
>>231749 Not really? He was perfectly upright when it came to actually dating FP, as seen in Burning Low and Vault of Bones. It's looking for a new lady to go after that kept him down. Using FP in huge flashy battles like in Frost & Fire is great, it's just that Finn being awful was so distracting that it managed to overshadow the giant slugfests he was causing.
>>231759 Thanks for the Crabapples, Giuseppe was a pretty solid episode, so I don't think so. I'd say the worst thing to happen was the simultaneity of Pen stepping down as head writer and Rebbeca leaving for her own show, leaving Muto to pick someone to finish Rebbeca's half-done story arc without really getting a feel for what direction it was going in or what strengths the other boarders do and don't have.
Seemed like an end of an episode to me. Wondering when that abandoned room will show up, again though. Odd choice to put up a do not enter sign when it was for authorized personal only to begin with. Kinda makes it more inviting to break into that way.
>>231849 >>231853 I'm sure it'll be a long while before it comes up again.
Still, I'm interested in seeing where it goes. Maybe Peppermint Butler will sneak into it, I'm waiting for the moment he comes out of the villain closet.
>>232278 I think so? There was a thing with Future!Bubblegum tells Present!Marceline that she loves her, which causes Marcie to say she always will or something.
>>232278 The comics are way too fanfiction-ly to be considered canon to the show. They were shipping Marceline and PB day one and just assume Finn would become Guts Finn. They even went so far as to make a Doughnut Steel version of Finn, the Ice King, Marceline and PB.
>>232279 >>232280 Considering what both of you said, it wouldn't be surprising this could end being just an alternate timeline created by events of the tv show.
I guess since Korra and Asami are a canonical couple now, people are jumping into anything these days.
>>232338 It was a nice episode with cute stuff, lay off it for a bit. Like I said before, a confluence of events is what let things go as poorly as they did. //youtube.com/watch?v=vHHGSbtdWEE
ADVENTURE TIME! MOVIE ANNOUNCED again.. http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/adventure-time-journeys-to-theaters >According to Deadline, Warner Bros. is working in conjunction with Cartoon Network in order to bring the hit show "Adventure Time" to theaters as an animated feature.
>"Adventure Time" takes place in the Land of Ooo, where Finn (Jeremy Shada) -- a 12-year-old human boy -- and his best friend Jake the Dog (John DiMaggio) defend their home and their friends against the Ice King (Tom Kenny). Finn and Jake are joined by a recurring cast of characters that includes Princess Bubblegum (Hynden Walch) and Marceline the Vampire Queen (Olivia Olson). The show was created by Pendleton Ward.
>Chris McKay ("The Lego Movie") and Roy Lee are on board to produce the project.
My worries are that without Pen this won't be as good as it could. And the last time they tried to make a movie the crew just couldn't hadle making a movie length episode of AT! and it was ultimately scraped and utilized it various episodes.
AND IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW ALREADY, Pendleton Ward stepped down from working on AT! recent-ish. http://www.rollingstone.com/tv/features/adventure-time-the-trippiest-show-on-television-20141002
I'm enjoying this week of episodes, plus one that apparently was on last week or something. Magic Man managed to stay an unrepentant jerk despite his past coming up again, and I loved that a wild animal started complaining to LSP about how she treats people.
Well, KoO is still in charge of the CK, so that's one thing that didn't revert. Plus Finn now having some ridiculously strong even compared to before grass arm. I will miss Martin, though, he was a fun character to watch get in and out of danger. Who knows what going back to the begging/end of time actually does, though.
Comet not hitting is kind of odd, I was expecting it to land weakened up until after it made the offer. Does this mean Sweet Pea is going to dream about hanging out with Finn's dad? Plus we've still got Betty going around doing who knows what. Also, did The Finn Sword combine into Finn when they were brought back from the bread?
Well that wasn't too bad. Mostly because they didn't really promise or sink into any major changes. Though I do expect PBG to become princess again very soon. But she predicted that it would eventually happen herself, so whatever.
>>235942 Haven't seen him get a new sword without losing the old one first, so that's interesting. Dunno if he would dual-wield since that would mean holding the Finn Sword with only his off hand. Also, the grass sword being in his arm when he became the Finn Sword means it has sort of a sword-within-a-sword, or something?
Possibly, but it could also be whatever future event happens that causes her to put all the candy people into status, like in the flashforward at the end of the Lemonhope episode, or the last Graybles one.
So, Finn's dad is a con artist who thinks he's a real hero and just recently got sent mysteriously to the beggining/end of time. King of Ooo is a com artist who thinks he's a real hero who has a mysterious past. Reincarnation is by now a bit of a theme in AT. Sounds to me like some upcoming plot that directly relates to Finn.
>>240008 >>240026 Alright, I'll get to grab at least one to help build hype but I'm only watching so many releases ahead. Been looking forward to this season. >first two are removed already. I dunno if I want to see these out of order, season openings tend to have some big stuff that carries over. Guess I'll wait for all of them.
Seeing little baby Bonnie was nice. I guess science is just something she taught herself over the years. That and Varmits also tells me her focus on lab work only eclipsed her other activities relatively recently, which we also sort of saw in the Finn's past life. In my opinion, it ties things together real nice. The tree not being her creation actually answers some things about the Kingdom's eventual fate, since if she can't replace the roots than it dying really would wreck the kingdom, especially if it grows even more reliant on electical power like it obviously was by the time it fell.
Momma Said is a silly time, I'm glad I watched it. Canyon just showing up a second time for some goofball advenure was nice. I feel pretty satisfied in seeing what kind of regular biz she gets up to. As anaside, flying mushrooms make me think of speedrunning glitches.
Stakes looks interesting, and It'll be nice to see how she does things with only half-demon attributes. Also, it's effectively a feature-length movie, sort of?
Also interested in catching Football when a get a chance to, BMO episodes are sweet.
>>240515 Seems pretty blatant about saying there will never be drastic changes made in the show, just little things that slightly change characters' personalities.
>>240533 I'd have had more fun if it wasn't written so poorly, like jesus it's so weird to see Finn just out of nowhere literally falling all over himself.

>Christmas Special Promo: //youtube.com/watch?v=lkR5hyvj1Bc >The More You Moe, the Moe You Know (a half-hour special) premieres Thursday, December 3rd at 7/6c on Cartoon Network
>A lot of people have wondered why there has been a significant delay in Baman Piderman recently, and I’m extremely proud today to get to tell you exactly the reason why:
>Alex and myself were asked to work on an upcoming episode of Adventure Time in an incredible way. It’s a ridiculously awesome opportunity for two independents such as us to get to work on something as acclaimed and important as Adventure Time and do large amounts of animation for television from in-house (OUR HOUSE). Though I will remain mum on the deetledeets, we know fans of Baman Piderman and our work are REALLY going to enjoy it. Also if you hate us maybe you will like it too? Let’s put aside our differences and hug each other tight, bathed in the warm, healing light of animation, my friend; it’s time.
>ANYHOO It’s shaping up to be some of the best work we’ve ever produced, and we get to work with some other amazing folks as well that I know are gonna get your jimmies jazzed.
>Thank you to Adam Muto for asking us and being a cool guy with a cool beard, we’re so proud to get to work this way! And thanks to Cartoon Network, who continues to support independent animation in such a meaningful way.
>Thank you also to the people who support us and our work. The next Baman Piderman, We Hab Da Problem, still comes out either at the end of November or a day or two into December. Post Jan 1st, episodes should finally return back to a normal pace. Thank you so much for your continued support and patience on our little cartoon, we hope we can always work on content that will make you smile.
>Thank you again, we’d never be able to do it without you guys.
>BMO episode Yes. >Moe doing cute but also parental things. Yes! >We Portal now. YES! >Time to kill your older brother who disguised himself as your father, BMO WOOOOOOOW!
>>241318 I'll be interested in watching those, the last two were nice. Seeing another of Jake's kids doing stuff, with LSP's excursion from Lumpy Space slowly unfolding again. And apparenlty there's quite a bit of BMO this season? I can't say it's a bad thing.
Another silly time, with antics from Ice King that don't rely on his past and also Banana Man. I guess things didn't work out with him and Boobsnana Guard, but now he has a fish friend. One thing they really went all out on was how suspicious they made the Vice President despite his innocence. I had no real reason to think Goblin King would show up here other than that he rode off into the ocean once, but I figure I ought to mention that he doesn't, just so no one else goes in expecting him.
Oh my, looks like they had some leftover interest in Spooky stuff after making Marceline's adventure. A fun episode, I'm glad we've been getting these. As for the true nature of the spooky girls? See spoiler image.
>>241473 Man, it's nice when Adventure Time has some semblance of Adventure to it.
Also- I like that Finn's Soulsword and grass arm continue to be running things, and haven't been completely turfed immediatly like the Demonblood sword.
>>241479 When the Demonblood Sword was designed they didn't think about how complicated it was to draw, hence the team turfed it as fast as they could.
Which is also why they disliked the Grass Sword, with those in mind the Finn Sword was designed to be simple and easy to draw.
Oh right, this is still here, isn't it. New episodes are on Saturday now, 7PM, alongside Regular Show. Next episode, Flute Spell, airs on March 12 and is going to feature Huntress Wizard. >promo by writer/storyboard artist Sam Alden >Co-written by Jesse Moynihan Last episode, Hall of Egress, was kind of an adventure episode, but also "psychological" in a sense. Was written by Tom Herpich, the guy behind Walnuts and Rain.
>>241944 First two minutes of Flute Spell http://b.1339.cf/ospihiz.mp4
More images: https://kat.cr/community/show/cartoon-network-unofficial-previews/?page=5#post17485931 >>241948 I'm convinced they just don't know what the best time to air anything anymore, after having marathons of just Teen Titans Go all day.
>>242001 That was fun and cute but it's pretty clear the adventure time writers subscribe to the weird DC comics idea of "long term romantic couples are bad...for some reason."
Moving on, a storyboard for next Saturday's episode, The Thin Yellow Line, has been posted: >The Thin Yellow Line premieres Saturday, March 19th at 7/6c on Cartoon Network This episode was half-storyboarded by K.C. Green and half-storyboarded by Emily Partridge. Episode synopsis: >Finn and Jake discover a conspiracy after infiltrating the Banana Guards ranks
>>241944 Wow, how did I not notice any of this? Time to ignore everything else and start up On Demand because I haven't even caught crossover yet. And now, having watched it instead of finishing my post, that was very good.
As for Hall of Egress, it looks like Finn makes for a better playtester than puzzle solver. I'd like to imagine the snowman puzzle is a nod to Legend of the Hidden Temple's Shrine of the Silver Monkey. Speaking of nods to things, this flute stuff is very Twilight Princess and executes it nicely.
>>242005 Sleeping like a log, huh? I wonder if someone snowing near her would cause saw marks. Also, sweet sink/bath setup.
>>242003 I remember someone saying that if she stayed on enough to be a permanent team mamber she'd end up messing with the party dynamic just by having a thrid person in every episode. I can imagine a long term romance avoid that problem, but don't think there's a realiable way to express how it'd work other than to become a writer and just make the whole story outright. Which I should probably do anyway, either as fanfic or developing it into it's own thing.
In any case, it amuses me that even if Finn does ends up living with Huntress Wizard, he'll just be sleeping next to what amounts to a mossy Dutch wife.
Supposedly, this episode was "loosely based on him[Jesse] hanging around and being flirtatious with a hot art student who had a boyfriend at the time".

>>242078 With the direction PB's been going lately, I wouldn't be eurprised if she sided with Jake on this one. But given >>242048 it seems likely that Finn will end up infiltrating the guards either way. I wonder if she'll declare at the end that as absolute ruler of the kingdom, she has the power to simply declare what is and isn't vanalism by fiat.
Those giants in the mural's top left corner sure look creepy.
>>242104 Oh hey, IK biz again. Just reading the discription, it looks like we'll see the start of whatever Betty has planned for her chilled beloved. That owl's jjust a regular owl, but might be importaint and is certianly cute.
Wait, how did my entire folder of AT pictures get deleted? Must have actually gltiched out when it ried moving them to a different drive but cancled partway thrrough. Now I only have the handful of duplicates I put in the recycle bin last year.
Anyway, PB's reaction to this was nice. She might control forces beyond what some of her children understand, but to her it's just her job to keep a kingdom running and attempt to protect people.
Story Board for the next episode by Hanna K. Nyström (Adventure Time 2015 Spooktacular comic, Everything Stays, King's Ransom): >Broke His Crown premieres Saturday, March 26th at 7/6c on Cartoon Network
First Two Minutes of Broke His Crown are up: http://b.1339.cf/ejgfxwb.mp4 Additional Images that tell a little more about the plot: https://kat.cr/community/show/cartoon-network-unofficial-previews/?page=10#post17526746
Slacker been around too long Marcie that liked to hang and tease Finn a bit. Side note I could see that one having a few years of a chill relationship with Finn before moving on again.
PB meeting Simon in the crown does make things less potentially uncomfortable. We know PB won't blame Simon for IK's actions, and that she sees IK as basically it's own entity, so whatever she does to humiliate IK doesn't really fall on Simon. Took me a minute to remember where PB first heard about IK's origin. (It was Holly Jolly Secrets if she dind't know by then.)
As for Marceline, I'd like her to prank too, she just needs a way to do it that'll trick Finn and Jake now that they know she's not evil. And Normal Man formerly known as Magic Man needs someone to help him keep pranking everyone now that he lost his magic. And I'll stop writing this post now to avoid shpping the-dangit.

>>244287 >So Regular Show, Gumball and AT are all ending about the same time? Not quite: * Regular Show will definitely end first by a significant margin. Its 34-episode final season just started, and the schedule lists the first fourteen episodes as being out by October 11. * Adventure Time is ending at nine seasons, when season seven has a little bit left and season eight is just going to start later this year. The CN Twitter said it'll end at "142 half-hours", which would mean there's about fifty episodes left. That would last until approximately early 2018. * Gumball's future is the least certain. The show's creator sort of jumped the gun in saying the sixth season would be the last, and corrected himself shortly thereafter. At the very least, it has 77 episodes left, which would take it pretty far into 2018.
>>244284 Was wondering why episodes suddenly stoped ariing right before the season finale, but maybe that was just to avoid leaving things on a big cliffhanger for too long, though it seems like they aren't even showing reruns now. Looking forward to seeing these two seasons, and with how people were talking about AT, two is more than I was expecting.
>>245064 I'd say the second half is a high point for the whole show in forming a cohesive narrative, if not overall quality.
I'm cautiously optimistic for the rest of the show. We finally have the full story for Finn and Susan's backgrounds after seven and six years, respectively, and I'm satisfied with it. But that also makes me feel like the show's played its last major cards. And while Islands vastly improved my outlook for Dr. Gross as an antagonist, the Patience and Fern plotlines haven't held my interests very much.
>>245079 As I understood season 8 is the last, I haven't been happy with the show since that Frost and Fire horse shit so I'm generally happy they've stopped beating this dead horse.
>>245078 That period of his life is potentially interesting, but not terribly relevant when Martin's gone for good and Finn doesn't care about him.
>>245079 >Well, the show is ending soon, right? >>245080 >As I understood season 8 is the last Season 9 is the last, and seasons seem to be back to ~26 episodes (7 was slightly longer, but 6 was slightly shorter than the double-length season 5), so there's about 30-40 left. Could end somewhere between very late 2017 and early 2018.
>>245078 >>245081 I imagine Martin Merten's time is space could probably be summed up about like this: //youtube.com/watch?v=XpziHgoEhgs Though yeah, I don't see it being particularly relevant to the main cast, unless Finn ends up having to help take care of the affects of what his dad did to end up in space jail as to make up for messing up said jail to break him out of it or something.
Though as for other plot stuff, I could see Patience St. Pim, Maja, Dr. Gross (if she's alive?) and maybe Betty depending on how things go forming some kind of alliance. It'd conveniently tie a lot of plot threads together, at any rate. Plus they could call themselves the Buttress Women while striking poses that produce a menacing rumble.
>>245495 Yeah, though as far as potentially survived falls and explosions go, that one really managed to sell the alleged deadliness to me. I guess partly due to how confined the space was to be handling any sort of explosion to begin with? Though really, being a super cybord scientist, I wouldn't be too surprised if she could put herself back together from tiny peices scraping each other off the wall if she had to.
First episode airing in 3 days. Seems like it will be decent though I don't have much interest in BMO. Mostly just waiting until the Finn and Jake episode comes but that will probably take another 10 months or something.
>>424660 Finn's design is pretty lame. As a grown man he looks soft and lacking in any sort of muscle.
Were they scared of making him look actually masculine and like someone who Heroes for living?
Also I heard some nonsense about the reason he doesn't have a prosthetic arm anymore is because he's "embracing his disability" instead of trying to "deny it", which sounds retarded and can't possibly be true can it?
>>424675 Yeah, I can just about want to see PB get the extremely rough sex that would only be possible to do with a girl who is made of bubblegum. I think Garabatoz already drew that though.
>>424667 >tie the knot, or however it works for humans lmfao
>Sup faggots, my name is Bronwyn and I hate every single one of you. All of you are lumpy, poo-brain no-lifes who spend every second of their day drooling over stupid cartoon lewds. You are everything bad in Ooo. Honestly, have any of you even got any hero dick? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of your own insecurities, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than jerking off to pictures on Ooobook.
>Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I was captain of the skateboard team, and starter on my rollerblading team. What sports do you play, other than "jack off to Steven Universe fanart"? I also get straight A's thanks to Grandpa Jake's help, and I have a banging hot uncle boyfriend (he just fisted me; Shit was SO cash). You are all dillweeds who should just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening.
At this point I don't really care who Finn fucks, as long as the relationship actually lasts and they don't go out of their way to make him a total loser.
